Austin’s Native Hostel Cuts Kitchen Hours, Adds Ranch Hand Food Truck | Eater Austin
"A mobile food truck founded in 2017 by two University of Texas MBA students, Quentin Cantu and Brian Murphy, serving organic grain bowls that pair locally sourced Texas meats with grains and greens. It will be located daily in the hostel parking lot at 807 East 4th Street from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., while still maintaining lunchtime rotations downtown and on campus; a previously announced brick-and-mortar (planned for 2019) is still in the works. The menu, developed in coordination with CK Chin and the hostel team, retains its bowl-focused roots but adds shareable items such as sliders, chips and dip, a burrito, and plates exclusive to the hostel; orders can also be placed at the hostel bar. The operation promotes a blunt, health-forward motto: “Stop eating shit for lunch.”" - Erin Russell
