Ranch Pizza Montavilla

Just ordered through Uber App and delivered to hotel. The pizza is absolutely amazing and flavorful. They do not skimp on the toppings either. Ordered 2 of these same but only one with the ricotta, because I wasn’t sure if I would have liked it. The ricotta is awesome and goes perfectly with their pizza. I only have the photo of one without the ricotta. Great pizza

We love Ranch Pizza Southeast, and we were excited to learn there was a new location opened closer to us at Montavilla. Unfortunately the food did not meet our usual expectations. We ordered a full Ricotta and Sausage pizza and a Hawaiian pizza - our usual go-to’s - for take out. Both pizzas were much more loaded with toppings than we are used to, and while I am no pizza expert, I suspect that is what caused both pizzas to be undercooked/soggy. The ricotta and sausage pizza was less impacted (it was still rather soft closer to the middle), but the central slice of the Hawaiian pizza was downright soaked from the juices of all the pineapples and onions layered with bacon on the pizza, the latter of which was sliced too large and also undercooked. I have included photos comparing what the Hawaiian pizzas look like that I got at the SE location vs what I got from Montavilla.

I was super dubious when my husband showed up with a fairly small pizza box after we had ordered takeout, especially when I had seen other reviews about the pizza being so expensive, but it was worth it! The pizza is deceivingly cheesy, even though it’s topped with red sauce, and I don’t know what makes it so delicious, but it is seriously good pizza. The menu is simple, and adding toppings felt really expensive, so we stuck with pepperoni, and it’s all you need really. I was also unsure of the breadsticks since they looked basic, but they were phenomenal. Super savory and flaky, and perfectly paired with their homemade ranch sauce. It’s a pricey meal, but worth it if you feel like splurging on some top quality pizza.

Had some seriously good pizza at this location. Love the #4. Some nice beers and ciders on tap as well.

The ranch was REALLY good, and great pizza. It will be hard to find another square pizza as good as this. Crispy bottom with soft texture on top. Crispy pepperoni, the Hawaiian was very good too. The jalapeños were a nice touch with the sweet pineapple and the chunks of pork 🤌🏼👌🏼breadsticks not pictured were fluffy and very garlicky but yummy. Price can look a little steep but the service was super fast and friendly, busy but has ample seating inside and out. Very clean inside Has a couple beers on tap as well as beers and cider in the fridge up front.

Honey, I shrunk the Pickle! Specialty pizza was amazing! I lucked out the last few days. Second meal in a row that was stellar - the one before this one was in Sisters at the vegan salad cart the Meeting of two Hearts salad. I did not expect to have something that elevated on the next meal out .. I stopped into LORO for acortato - and decided I was hungry too. The after taste of the "Honey, I shrunk the 🥒 is satisfaction I suggest tucking a paper napkin in your collar as the pizza is loaded with complimenting flavors.

Stopped in here on a whim for a slice with my daughter and it did not disappoint. I’m not usually a deep dish/thick crust person, so I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Great 80s/90s playlist we rocked to as well. Will be back!

Just constructive feedback: I noticed someone comment recently that Ranch Montavilla was a lot soggier than Ranch SE. We tried Ranch Montavilla for the first time last weekend and it fell short of expectations for the same reason. Haven't had this issue at Ranch NW. I do think it's a good idea to try to standardize bakes across locations. That said, atmosphere was pleasant and lively

It's so cute in here! Love the ambiance: casual, trendy, comfortable. It was busy and we chose a table with a dirty table top and all we had to do was ask and the friendly associate to clean our table and they fixed it right up. I got the special; pepperoni deep dish with a flavorful crispy crust and nice chewy dough with red sauce + mozzarella topped with a dollop of ricotta and pickles. MOUTH WATERING. I wonder why they're called Ranch Pizza... hmmm... is it because they serve their slices with a side of homemade ranch? YUMMO.

First time trying this location, I was a regular fan of the Dekum location. Portland is a great pizza town, I used to place Ranch in the upper echelon, but they seemed to have lost a step. Still worthy, but more mid-tier. Slightly above Pizzacato for comparison. And there are now more options for square (Detroit) pizza, so they no longer corner that niche. The slice - or quarter as they call it - took a long time. And I'm not a fan of crumbly sausage, reminds me of cheap Domino's quality. Lastly, price points here are higher than at comparable places. Again, the pizza is "good", the ambiance inviting, and the service friendly. But won't return unless there's a golden parking spot right out front.

Just picked up two pizzas from here the other day, the most MID pizza of all time. Maybe it was the wrong day but I'll try the one across town before coming back to this location.

Run, don't walk for their breadsticks. They are so effing delicious!!! Their pizza is also delicious. My new favorite place!

Ordered pizza with one side mushrooms and chilis, the other side with pepperoncini and sausage. Instead got mushroom/sausage and chilis/pepperoncini. Asked for a refund or something but got nothing. Let the buyer beware.

Great pizza and great space- so glad to have legit pizza in the neighborhood. Love the outdoor seating in the summer
