This place was everything we expected and more. The location is ideally located between St Helena and Yountville, but there are also plenty of things to do right there in Rutherford. The little taqueria/convenience store across the street was helpful and the 2 wineries across the street were great. Daily wine tastings at the hotel at 5:30 were an added bonus and we even found our favorite vineyard that way (Honig). ||Everyone working here is very friendly and the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is also surprisingly excellent. We aren’t usually breakfast people but make sure you grab that! ||Overall, we can’t wait to come back here. Would recommend it to any friends and family in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great trip!

We had the most wonderful 2 nights at Rancho Caymus Inn in Rutherford for our 10 year anniversary. The communication was wonderful before we arrived. They were excellent at setting up alot of our tasting reservations to minimize our leg work. The staff was excellent, room was beautiful and woodwork was so nice. The robes were divine and need them in life. |Room had a huge shower, and welcome champagne to start the trip off was so sweet. Breakfast was amazing, and the english muffin was to die for. So sad we had to leave early the last day as we didn't get to enjoy it one last time. They had evening wine tastings before we head to dinner, which we felt was a nice touch staying in napa. We played games in the big lounge room until driver came to pick us up in the morning. |It was perfectly located for all of the tastings were wanted to enjoy during our time there. Also near some excellent restaurants.|We are already thinking about when we can take our next trip out there to enjoy this lovely Inn. Until next time! |Love, |TeamJames

Just chiming in with my review of Rancho Caymus Inn- what an exquisite property! |I’m pretty picky when it comes to accommodations, and Napa is chock full of fab options… however, this will now be my go-to pick when we visit wine country. |Everything is clean and polished. Beds and linens are luxe, inviting, and wonderfully relaxing. The wine/food offerings are a delight (do not miss the breakfast- it’s worth its weight in gold). ||We just felt so at ease. They’ve thought of so many small details that really matter, and the service is top notch. ||Finally, it’s very well situated in Rutherford. We cannot gush enough and highly recommend grabbing a burrito at the small market across the street. Likewise, I asked the concierge to book some wineries for us and our day enjoying Tres Sabores, Round Pond, and Mathew Bruno was so memorable! ||This is a gem of a property and not one to be missed.

We stayed at the Rancho Caymus Inn for a week and it was a great experience. We loved our room and the facilities everything was very clean and looked great. The staff was very helpful and supportive and had great recommendations. If you buy wine while you are visiting local vineyards they will ship it home for you which is an additional benefit. 5 STARS. All Around. I would recommend this Inn to anyone and will stay here again. Thank you for such a great experience.

Google
This is a true boutique, very intimate hotel experience. We were visiting Napa for my husband’s 50th bday w a few family members and wanted a comfortable spot mid-way up the valley and didn’t need a ton of amenities as we had very full days planned during our entire visit. Rancho Caymus was perfection! The entire place is beautiful and cozy!!!! The staff is helpful and so friendly and happy. The rooms are big and have all the comforts of home (we stayed in a premium king) and the breakfast surpassed expectations. The courtyard had a heated pool and hot tub and the fires burned every night so you could be outside and enjoy the space. We can’t say enough about how much we loved this experience and we plan to stay here every time we visit the valley. Thank you to Austin, DJ, Sue and Monica for making our stay so enjoyable!

Google
This was a very nice stay and felt luxurious for us. Great location for wine country activities, great bedding, nice sitting area with fireplace, we had easy access for a quick hot tub session in the evening, and of course the included breakfast was nice and makes mornings a joy. I wasn’t surprised since we went in the off season but agree with other reviews not to expect a wine tasting in the evening as we were not offered anything

Google
We loved this hotel. Very detailed design. They missed nothing with Spanish mission decor. Super delicious breakfast included. Wine tastings at 5:30 were a treat! Location is fabulous and in walking distance to many tasting rooms and restaurants. I'm a light sleeper so check your AC unit for noise. I roughed it but my partner doesn't hear well anyway. He didn't mind. No elevator or bell man to take luggage upstairs. Near working vineyards so there was leaf blowers etc early am. I would go back.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Rancho Caymus. Our room was very nice, the facilities are interesting and comfortable, but most of all the staff is awesome. I think we found a new favorite spot in Napa Valley! Thanks very much!!!

Yelp
I love this place. This place is so beautiful. We had the room with a balcony and the balcony was actually very large and the hotel itself was so cozy. I absolutely love the fireplace inside the hotel room. It gave such an amazing vibe that you can't really find in other hotels. I love the design of this whole place. The pool and the spa were actually kind of cute and they are both heated, which is nice. The bathroom inside the hotel room was gorgeous as well. I really loved the bed. It felt so nice. The sheets were such great quality and were so soft, I saw other people complaining about the bed and the pillows in the reviews on yelp, but I loved them. They were so soft and plushy and I wish I could've took them home with me. I absolutely loved the Tarrocco soaps and lotions. I had those same soaps and lotions in a hotel in Mexico and they were my favorite so to see them here made me so happy. The parking is plentiful here and we did not have any issues with that. I also loved how they put umbrellas that you can borrow in front of the hotel because it was raining and we did not bring an umbrella. I also loved how we got texts from the hotel asking us how everything was going. The only thing that bothered me was we had a do not disturb sign on the door, but the housekeeping was still knocking on the door at 9 AM when we were trying to sleep. I understand they are trying to make sure the room is clean, but I did not want to be woken up. The biggest issue I had here was that a what sounded like a tsunami alarm went off and it was the loudest alarm I've ever heard in my life. I honestly thought we were being invaded or something. It scared me lifeless, and I didn't know what it was until I looked at the reviews on here, and other people mentioned that it was a fire alarm from the fire station across the street. I just wish we had a heads up that this could happen. I suffer from severe anxiety and this took me an hour to stop freaking out over. Overall, I really like this hotel and I would definitely come back. The vibes here are just immaculate and the service is great.

Yelp
This was a nice, interesting hotel. Dark brown wood interiors, nice linens, nice bathrooms, repurposed wood in the doors. For an engineer like me, it was eye candy galore! Conveniently placed between Beau Lieu and a few other wineries in easy walking distance as well. Note: The front door is a Push to open. Walking into the lobby, they have cool water on a sideboard. The pool area has a nicely sized hot tub, and is kept clean and maintained. The room was very spacious, and included a bottle of wine from a local vineyard - that might be because of who we made the reservation with. We had a room which was on the Beau Lieu vineyard side, and they start pretty early in the morning. If you are a wine production geek, you might like this room when they go into harvest and production, since you can sit on the balcony and watch some of the goings on, or hear the bottling and grape presses running. I really liked the bed, it was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and the walk in shower maintained water temperature nicely.

Yelp
Beautiful spot very quiet lovely pool, spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast close to everything!!:-)

Yelp
Thank you (GM) Austin, You and your staff did a wonderful job during our stay at the Rancho Caymas last week. Your beautiful boutique hotel with well appointed rooms, comfortable bed and Professional and friendly staff, were perfect for our 40th Anniversary for my Bestie and I. Thank you to all. Keep up the great work!

Yelp
Checked in last minute after a long day of wine tasting & fine dining. The staff was great , checked me in right away with a awesome room. My room was large, clean & updated. The free breakfast is great!

Yelp
I've passed by this hotel many times as a frequent traveler to wine country. Rancho Caymus Inn is located in the vicinity of Caymus and The Prisoner wineries which were our destinations. Dinner at the Rutherford Grill was perfect as it is a five-minute walk. I was able to find a great rate on AAA and was pleasantly surprised at the unexpected excellence here! Upon entering the room, the feeling of coziness cloaked the atmosphere. The interiors matched the rustic Spanish villa look of the exterior grounds and architecture. The bathrooms are renovated nicely. I love the extra touch of a heated fan above after exiting the shower. There are coffee and tea in the room with a mini-fridge (containing two complimentary waters) and a nice balcony to enjoy your libations. After dinner, my friend and I wanted to enjoy more wine (without going into the expensive winery purchases). They have a self-serve area with snacks and various beverages which are EXTREMELY reasonably priced! We were both impressed at the large 16oz sparkling Voss waters at $5/each. I remember paying almost $20 for bourgeois H20 in clubs! We were able to find a nice bottle of Honig Sav Blanc for $30 also! You simply take your goods to the front desk and have it billed to your room. If you need something they don't have, there is a mini-market across the street to fill in the gaps. They offer complimentary room service for breakfast also which most definitely exceeded my expectations! I wasn't expecting much more than continental, but there were scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, delicious croissants, berries, mixed fruit, coffee, tea, and fresh juices to choose from! The balcony was the perfect place to indulge in our AM ailment before beginning our day. Checking out was a breeze and we left well-rested and ready to start the day. I would absolutely return to Rancho Caymus! -so cozy, quiet, quaint and peaceful!

Yelp
Didn't have any expectations coming to this hotel since my wife booked it without my knowledge. But I have to say it's a beautiful boutique hotel with awesome amenities for the price. Your in central Napa Valley at a reasonable price

Kaley M.

Yelp
Best stay ever. The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere with music playing. Front desk staff is so nice and accommodating. The rooms are big and such beautiful decor. The pool is awesome and has a hot tub too. I love how they have a market where you can pick up any wine and snacks and just checkin with the front desk so they charge your room.

Audrey C.

Yelp
Beautiful place to stay with lots of character and very nice decor. The free breakfast was great and there's a few nearby wineries and dinner spots within in walking distance. We had our own private patio too which was awesome!

Yelp
Would go back in a heartbeat! The staff was kind and the facilities are beautiful! The location is also really great. We loved it

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about our two night stay here recently. We were in California for a family wedding and extended our trip to do a little wine tasting. Charming, cozy, and chic all in one - we had a great stay. From the moment we checked in the service was attentive and welcoming, and the property itself was just the right size - with all the rooms surrounding the pool area, it was fun to hang out and meet folks from all over the country (I'm talking about you, Wisconsin and Minnesota people!). Breakfasts were a great start to the day and I am still dreaming of those English muffins :). Our room was lovely - I could go on and on, but once again Yelp has steered me in the right direction, as evidenced by all these amazing reviews!

Yelp
This is a lovely inn/boutique hotel. We booked with Chase points for a last minute stay and have no regrets! It is located right next to Rutherford Grill (who knew? We have passed it so many times without noticing) and is easy to get in and out of. It's a smaller hotel, but so charming and well cared for. The staff is wonderful. We were greeted and offered glasses of sparkling wine as we were walked to our room. We were shown around the room before we settled in. There was happy hour downstairs in the evening (poured by various local wineries - it was Miner Family Vineyards when we were there), and a nice continental breakfast in the morning. This is at the top of my list of one of my more favorite boutique hotels, and I look forward to staying again!

Amirissa M.

Yelp
This was a lovely stay. We decided to last minute stay in Napa and stumbled upon them by chance thanks to google. The staff was warm and friendly. They did a great job of making you feel COVID safe while still having all the accommodations of a lovely stay. The room itself was lovely. I'm a bed snob but didn't miss mine during our stay. The pool and jacuzzi were open for guests. We didn't feel comfortable as you never know how COVID conscious people are until they have the opportunity to invade your space. But it was set up well that if you wanted to and have the opportunity to mostly social distance, you can. The breakfast dinning situation was nice. There was plenty of space between tables and the staff did a good job of bringing food through unused space. And breakfast was scrummy. Thank you to the entire staff for a great weekend stay!

Yelp
October 13, 2020 a two day stay at Rancho Caymus Inn, Rutherford, Ca was the most amazing experience my sister Gloria from surprise, Az and I (Flor) from Irvine,Ca had A truly lovely time. Austin, a big thank to you and to your staff, for our welcome stay. Austin, your definitely an outstanding manager, with a top-notch customer service, and I would Definitely recommend Rancho Caymus Inn to anyone ( people out there you won't regret it). These are some things to keep in mind, such as the location is only 5 minutes into town going northbound on the state highway 29 , receptions is available 24/7, breakfast is fresh and healthy, our room was a king handicap accessible with a walk-in shower, room was clean both days, pool and jacuzzi was heated, free parking and safe, also a market/ take out ,fast food (Mexican) restaurant literally across the street open until 6 pm and Rutherford America food grill one block away. Looking forward to in returning soon. Hope this helps people who are traveling out to Rutherford, Ca . Thank you, Austin

Yelp
This is a beautiful inn on a nice quiet street in Rutherford. We celebrated our 20th anniversary in the valley so we splurged a bit and reserved the biggest corner suite. It was so lovely and cozy. We enjoyed the stove fireplace and the nice shower. The decor is done well with perfect taste. The bed was a bit too soft for us but very plush nonetheless. They serve a nice breakfast. One day which we enjoyed in our room, the other in the dining room and in there I was able to order a cappuccino. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our bottle of champagne given to us for our anniversary. The only thing that we didn't like or expect was the loudest siren you have ever heard coming from the volunteer fire department. I understand why it's used and needed but I think the front desk should warn their guests about it. The first time it went off I panicked. It sounds like we are receiving an air raid, an earthquake warning or bombs are coming. Scary!!

Megan D.

Yelp
Amazing experience. Small, not too crowded, such a good price for location. Very central and close to everything. The staff were friendly, free breakfast was amazing the pool and hot tub were nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Aaron H.

Yelp
Beautiful boutique space in the heart of the valley. Amazing attention to detail from the architecture to the decor and guest experience. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
Just checked out yesterday from a 2 night stay in the Premium King for a romantic getaway. Small boutique hotel, 20 something rooms. The couryard with the pool, hot tub, and fireplace area were a bit smaller than I anticapated from the pictures. No problem though. It felt cozy. Definitely a very rustic vibe. The rooms have plenty of lighting, but still were pretty dark. To be expected with all the wood and muted colors. The rooms are spacious, so I appreciated that. We were definitely the youngest couple that we saw. But that might just be a winter thing and the vibe might change with the pool in the summer. The staff was friendly. Carlos was an absolute rockstar. The hotel and rooms were clean. The Good: - The winery partners. I got nearly 1/3 of my stay in value from the winery partners. One of the tastings was comped at $180 total. They have quite a few partners, but only a few offer massive value. So that could pose a problem for repeast guest. You won't want to taste at the same places every time. -The comp breakfast was great. I expected buffet style. But it's actual sit down and you choose from a menu. I made breakfast sandwiches with a Model Bakery Muffin, eggs and proteins offered. Equator branded coffee is outstanding. -The location is phenomenal. Walking distance to some vineyards if you really don't want to drive. But we had lunch in St. Helena one day. Dinner in Yountville. And some tastings all within a 5 minute drive. -The Pool and Hot Tub. Most properties in Napa don't have either. November was too cold for the pool. But after a long day of tasting, taking a cold beer or Sav Blanc to the hot tub was great. The firepits in the courtyard were also relaxing. -Fireplaces in every room. -The mini "Market" was stocked full of beverages, wines, snacks, etc. You just walked around the corner and charged it to your room. Super easy. The Not so Good: -Multiple noise issues. The A/C unit is really loud. The first night it kept kicking on and off every 5-10 minutes and woke me up throughout the night. The 2nd night I turned the fan on to let it run because I could hear what sounded like 2 elephants above me stomping around, otherwise I would have left it off completely. I finally got used to the fan running constantly and got some sleep.Definitely request a 2nd floor room! -The sheets are pretty poor for what you'd expect. Not very soft and they kind of had that commercial, chlorine clean smell. Like at a Holiday Inn, you know what I'm talking about. But the matress itself was relatively nice. The nitpicks: -No exercise room. The area is nice though, so I got a good run in. -Pictures online show the patio furniture in the individual rooms are cushioned. Nope, just cold hard steel. Not so pleasant when at 8AM when it's 45 degrees out. -Pillows were all the same size. Usually places that have 6 pillows on the bed have some flatter than the others, softer, firmer, etc. Nope, one size fits all. Will I return? The million dollar question to any hotel review. I am returning! I already have a reservation for May of next year. I did notice that the property was recently purchased and it seems as if the prices for next year have gone up pretty substantially. It will be interesting to see if and how the property changes. This is definitely a spot I would return to in the summer. The location overall and being able to enjoy the pool is a big plus. But I definitely will consider other properties if the prices continue to climb.

Yelp
Our stay at Rancho Caymus Inn was nothing short of amazing. I do have to admit that when we arrived and realized that this was not a view front property, we were a bit disappointed, but that disappointment quickly faded away as we walked into our room. The property and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous, and all of the staff were so incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating during our stay. Our room was beautiful with a luxurious king size bed. The bathroom was a bit small, but still very nice, and it had a heater to warm the room, which was so nice for the cool evenings. The robes and slippers were so comfortable, and I wore them all the time when we were in the room. Our fridge had two bottles of San Benedetto water from Italy, which was a nice touch. The continental breakfast was amazing, and far beyond what I expected. Fresh fruit, yogurt with toppings, fresh sliced meats like prosciutto and salami, delicious cheeses to accompany the meats, bagels, English muffins from a local baker, English muffin breakfast sandwiches, and more. They serve juices and fresh drip coffee, but my husband noticed that they had an espresso machine, and they were able to make us our usual breve lattes every morning of our stay. I even heard guests request specific things from the kitchen that were not out, like an egg white omelette with a side of bacon, and they accommodated those requests, all free of charge. Be sure to bring cash to tip, because the food and service are absolutely worthy of it. Do be aware that there is no valet, and you will have to walk your luggage to your room yourself, and there are no elevators. BUT, we loved it, and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Oh, and Rutherford Grill, which is delicious, is not even a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Definitely try it.

Keizzel C.

Yelp
A+ service and will definitely be coming back! We wanted to do a trip to Napa for the long weekend and were surprised that this place was bookable through Airbnb and was only $200/night and included breakfast/free parking. From the moment you walk in through the lobby to when you check out you're greeted by friendly and spectacular service. PROS: + Can book through Airbnb/website + Tons of free parking + Friendly/quick service by staff + Clean and large rooms (comes w/ robes and slippers too) + Heated jacuzzi/pool/and firepits + Complimentary 1-hr wine tasting w/ local partners TH-Sat + Free continental breakfast 7:30AM-10:30AM (pastries, local cheeses/meats, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, freshly squeezed juice, yogurt, etc) + Express checkout CONS: - They didn't have microwaves in the rooms, but if you called the front desk they were more than willing to pick it up at your room, heat it up, AND bring it back to your room - Pillows were softer than I'd like but they have a few various sizes so you can definitely find what works for you. All in all, we had an extremely smooth and enjoyable first trip here. The place itself has a nice homey vibe and the rooms were HUGE and had full showers, a fireplace, high ceilings, and even balcony with chairs. For having a location that is walkable to 2 wineries, the Grill, and 5 min drive to V.Sattui etc the price is a steal! Ya'll are doing an awesome job and keep it up!!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
We LOVED this hotel. Quiet, clean, dark and cool. The room was PERFECT. The bed was comfortable. Pillows could've been slightly better, but overall fine. It was dark and quiet and night. The staff was all SUPER nice. They even have wine tastings from wineries in the area. I think it's Thurs-Sat. Patty did one and she was so sweet and nice. I cannot remember any of the other staff while we were there, but literally all of them were great. Breakfast was amazing. Homemade granola, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, fruit...it was great! There's a grocery across the street that supposedly has the best Mexican breakfast. We didn't try it, but we did go grab some beer because we got wined out. Also, Rutherford Grill is half a block.

Danny D.

Yelp
To sum it up.. WOW What a little gem.. We're not easily impressed but this place really had it all together.. cozy atmosphere, well decorated rooms Euro-hacienda chic (if that makes any sense!), great staff, super clean remodeled rooms that are HUGE.. gluten free options for the free breakfast, and more that I just can't recall.. Topper: didn't require a two night minimum like all the other surrounding high end resorts! A breath of fresh air from all the generic Marriotts and Westins.. We'll definitely be back..

Mari W.

Yelp
The hotel was lovely inside, not much of a view or setting as you drive up. My only complaint was we asked to check in early, clearly, there were many rooms available. However, she declined and I think it might have been because we booked through a third party. The problem is when you have bags in your car, you are culpable to being robbed, when you park at wineries. I would have appreciated them allowing us to check in or at least offering to store the bags. We knew we could check in at 3p. They called at 4p (we were busy by then and said we could check in ;Duh! Would have loved a little gracious hospitality. Room was nice, pool was nice.

R Bruce S.

Yelp
Wonderful newly remodeled boutique hotel. We stayed upstairs overlooking the courtyard with the pool, hot tub and corner fire pits. The room was large and very romantic with beautiful wood beam ceilings, and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom included a beautiful stained glass window to light up the shower. The staff was delightful, very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was lovely, and the breakfast was awesome with fresh local pastries, eggs, and fruit. We had a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend staying here. Can't say enough!! 5 plus stars!

Fran I.

Yelp
We had a fantastic mini trip here up from the East Bay, and definitely hope to be back! A few highlights: -Complimentary wine tastings offered in the evening from a neighborhood vineyard -- definitely check these out, we enjoyed a lot! -The buildings are beautiful and really makes you feel like you are "away" and on vacation -Excellent water pressure in the shower! -Literally right next to the amazing Rutherford grill -Nice complimentary and socially distant breakfast. We had a choice of eggs, bacon, pastries, fruits, all really good and so nice to have an easy breakfast at the hotel -The pool and hot tub and clean, well maintained, and perfect for a pre-dinner break

Katie H.

Yelp
Cozy/warm hacienda style, identical to whats shown on the site, so there are no surprises. Updated bathrooms! Perfect for Fall, Winter, and the colder Spring days. If you are looking for a bright, light, warm Spring/Summer feel for your stay, this is not the place for you! Heavy wood, darker colors, but still adorable and on trend. This was a perfect place for our cold early-March stay... but I would definitely prefer something brighter and more airy on a warmer stay. Pros: - shower pressure - kind welcome with a glass of bubbly - fresh, colorful, and warm breakfast - working fireplace in room Cons: - no bathroom counter space - green stained spa floor/wall (but water was clean!) - lack of scenic bedroom views

Catherine P.

Yelp
This is our 3rd time staying in the Napa / Sonoma area and Rancho has been our favorite! We arrived early, so our room wasn't ready but we were able to have lunch in their patio and enjoy their pool while we waited. Our room ended up being ready an hour before check in and they brought our bags up there for us. These rooms are beautiful, huge and cozy. The rooms and staff were perfect. Breakfast every morning was amazing (try their orange juice and coffee) and they offered tastings from local wineries each night. This will be our go to place to stay going forward!

Jane B.

Yelp
Stayed here one night while celebrating our anniversary. A bottle of wine was to be in our room. I had to go to the desk three times before it was delivered. I left my hat in the room along with Apple ear buds. I called the next day, explaining exactly where they could be found and was told the head of housekeeping was not there. He would check when she arrived and get back to me. No call. I called two days later and was told they had not found them. I hope the house keeper is enjoying them. How disappointing this is when paying well over $400 for the night. Will not return.

TJ B.

Yelp
Do not book!!! They are closed and do not say they are closed on their website. My wife and I booked a stay for this weekend and didn't find out they were closed until we arrived. The place was completely deserted. My credit card was charged and they are not responding to phone calls or emails. I hope this review will get their attention!! Save yourself the stress and DO NOT BOOK!!

Honest T.

Yelp
This is what a hotel is supposed to be. Impossible to find anything but great things to say. Absolutely wonderful staff. Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The rooms are impeccable, stylish, and spacious. Pool and jacuzzi under a sky crowded with stars. The breakfast (included) was marvelous. Plentiful, fresh, and okay, I'll say it- yummy!! Rancho Caymus Inn is elegant without a trace of pretension. Superbly luxurious without ostentation. If you're in Wine Country, STAY HERE.

Lee D.

Yelp
My wife and I had a stay-cation here over the holiday weekend (we live in Napa) and it was perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the wine tasting experience with 'trio' was a wonderful perk that we did not expect. We hung out next to the fireplace, enjoyed the hot tub, and dined next door at the Rutherford grill. Breakfast in the morning on the patio was a perfect topper for the trip. Stay here.

Rachel H.

Yelp
I'm confounded by all the 5 star reviews! The reviews are the reason I picked this place and it really disappointed. This place isn't bad, it's just FINE. Which I'd be absolutely ok with, if our total for 2 nights including fees wasn't around $1500. WHAT? At that price point I expect it to be fantastic. We just stayed at the Ventana in Big Sur FOR LESS, and that place is an incredible resort. Rancho Caymus has no view, is situated near a busy road, so you can hear all the cars go by. It's also right near a volunteer fire station, so you hear random loud alarms going off and there were bugs in the hot tub. Oh and we could hear people going up and down the stairs and slamming doors and we were sleeping with a sound machine. We also rarely saw anyone at the front desk, so the service was very whatever. All of this is totally forgivable if you're paying $350 a night. Absolutely unforgivable at this price point. One pro: breakfast was free and pretty solid. Won't stay again, won't recommend. EDIT TO ADD RESPONSE TO MANAGER: I understand that the fire department needs to respond, of course. It's not their fault, it's YOURS for not accurately notifying guests BEFORE THEY BOOK that you are SO CLOSE to the fire station and that will be an issue. I AM confounded by the level of service you provided (little to none) and calling your place a 'boutique' hotel is not really an accurate description. Most boutique hotels are much nicer and not 3 stars. I would maybe call it 'independently owned'. When you charge resort prices, people expect resort service. Had you offered any discount to us when I expressed my concern about our stay at checkout, maybe I wouldn't have needed to post a review. Also the passive aggressive response didn't help. I doubt you would be bothered if I shared my review across all 3 services if it were positive.

Yelp
This was our first time in Napa Valley ever and the Rancho Caymus Inn was such a perfect place to stay at. The inn and the pool were more intimate than we expected but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The pool was big enough to swim in and just relax. The weather was perfect. The rooms were phenomenal, just as shown in pictures. The inn was a prime location near many wineries. If you're looking for a quick and tasty bite to eat, The Luna market is right across the street, where they make amazing Mexican cuisines and doubles as a local bodega. The Rutherford Grill was also right next door to the hotel, so we ate there one night as well and it was perfect. Staff was very friendly and the hotel is partnered with many wineries, which means discounts! Ask about them. All in all, we would definitely recommend Rancho Caymus Inn

Yelp
THIS IS AS GREAT AS IT GETS!!! This motel has everything any couple needs to satisfy all their needs. The best is the price! Located in the heart of the wine country is what makes this hidden find the best in the valley. Bottom line: Excellent rooms and excellent service. It doesn't get better than this!!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are Napa locals, so after going to dinner up valley we decided to give this place a try and have a little staycation. Check-in was nice and easy and we were in love with the Spanish theme of the place. Once getting in our room we decided this was our favorite little hotel in the valley thus far. This 3-star review isn't about the room, but about the customer service, we received. At around 5 a.m. We woke to water pouring out of our ceiling. I'm not talking drops but tons of water! I called the front desk and after they checked on it, I guess someone had flooded the room above us. (not the hotel's fault, understandable.) The young man that greeted me at 5 in the morning offered me my money back and a free night stay another night. I was in correspondence with him for quite some time since I had to remind him about the refund, and I continued to ask him about that night. My birthday was coming up and I thought that would be the perfect night to go since we loved the place so much. Unfortunately, after my self writing two emails with zero return I decided f*** it. We still love the place so we did go stay that second night but without the night, we were offered. We still have yet to have heard from the guy and this was late May, early June.

Yelp
My husband and I recently stayed here with friends during our stay in Napa and I couldn't have loved it more! The service from when you walk in to door is second to none. Even with COVID going on they took their breakfast buffet and made it into personal order from a cute checklist. The rooms were so adorable and comfortable and might I add the sizes of them are so wonderful! We could have our friends over for a glass of wine before or after our tastings and all had room to spread out. AND I can't say enough positive things about Austin the Manager at Rancho Caymus, he was delightful to work with and definitely takes pride in his place. We can't wait to visit them again soon hopefully!!

Yelp
So glad to be back again. Super warm hospitality and very comfortable rooms. Great location! Central to food spots and wineries; plus the tacqueria across the street is the bomb!

Yelp
This is honestly one of the coolest hotels I've ever stayed in!! Each room has its own fire place and balcony, you feel like you're in your own cabin with a couch, king size bed, and super high ceilings. The bathrooms are extremely up to date and have heaters solely for the bathroom after you shower. Everything is very clean and feels very modern yet rustic. The breakfast is included and is super fresh including eggs, fruit, bacon, Homemade English muffins, coffees etc. the staff was super accommodating and responsive with great recommendations and deliveries to the room. Plus, it is within 5 minutes to most of Napa's top vineyards!!! They also have agreements for free tastings etc with the local vineyards! It is about 15 minutes from downtown napa. Parking is included and Uber's were readily available! We had an exceptional experience and this hotel was without a doubt the highlight of our trip!

Yelp
My first time staying here couldn't have been better - will be back for sure. Highlights: - Amazing breakfast served daily (included w/stay). - Charming pool area. - Friendly staff. - Clean, well-designed/updated rooms. - Great location. - Taqueria across the street serves the best Mexican food I've had in years. I travel way too much for work and stay in a lot of hotels - by far a solid notch above the rest.

Yelp
Lovely Inn with big cozy Tuscan rustic rooms, views and central courtyard pool area. Great location to visit many Napa wineries, restaurants and of course to balloons in Napa! Nice breakfast option included. Wonderful service.

Yelp
Rancho Caymus Inn was absolutely awesome!! Beautiful spacious rooms, great attention to detail from the decor to the amenities! The staff was gracious, friendly, and super helpful! The breakfast was great, spa and pool were awesome - bottom line: we loved it! The location was perfect - right in between St. Helena and Yountville made it super easy to get around, it was great! We will definitely stay there again!

Yelp
Still one of our all time favorite spots, and you truly cannot beat this location in the Valley. Walking over to Rutherford Grill after a long day wine tasting can't be beat. There have been some recent changes that made us wonder if the change in ownership will ultimately guide how things are done. We definitely miss the pre-Covid breakfast which was the most incredible buffet you've seen! Breakfast is still yummy but the limiting of 3 items per person (6 per room) is a little weird, especially when a bowl of fresh berries is half full. The employees have to enforce this policy by inquiring how many beds are in a room if there are more than 2 people sitting down. Overhearing this while at breakfast seems very unglamorous for how lovely the property is and awkward for the kind employees too! The change in breakfast was definitely understandable during Covid but now it feels like a cost saving measure that will continue indefinitely. We've stayed here many times before Covid and during Covid so we've seen various ways of doing things. We also missed the robes and the larger pool towels (they still provide pool towels but they are definitely of a lower quality than before). Also agree with another review that the sheets are very much not up to par with the room. Still an incredible property and an amazing value for Napa but I hope that new owners consider customer loyalty before making too many changes in service of the bottom line. Overall a wonderful stay.

Yelp
Room was great, super cozy and huge outdoor patio. I had a corner suite upstairs! Breakfast was the best continental breakfast I have ever had, wish I could have more right now! Only improvement would be the bed, the bed was bit hard, I like a plush pillow top. But the super lush and soft bath towels helped make up for it along with the bathroom heater, super lovely!

Yelp
Stayed here in August 2020 and had a wonderful time! They did a great job with COVID - hand sanitizer everywhere, masks required in common areas, constant cleaning. The inn is so charming - it feels like you are in a Spanish hacienda. It is lovely at night with soft lighting in the lamps, fireplaces and fire tables around the property. The pool is small but nice (more of a dipping pool than laps), and hot tub is great as well. The breakfast is delicious - best English muffin I have ever had! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The one thing that I didn't like was they were constantly playing "generic peppy music" (eg. Blondie, Grease, Blues Brothers, Beach Boys) pretty loudly in the outdoor areas. I asked them to turn it down/ off a few times so we could enjoy the quiet, and they were always accommodating. It would be nice to do without music, or have something that blends into the background a bit more in terms of volume and style. We kept saying how this would be an amazing spot for a wedding - gorgeous building; really nice terrace with fire; balconies; open room for reception; etc. Lots of great wineries within a 3-4 min drive. Room was great - nice bed, soft robes and blankets, great bathroom. We will be back!

Yelp
This place is very cute & cozy! Small, but super comfy! Friendly staff! I love the rooms! Large sitting area. Comfortable bed! Small balcony for each room. Our view was not the greatest, but that's okay, We spent our days outside anyhow. Very clean! Yes, I would recommend this place!

Yelp
This was our first time back since it reopened. What a great place. Perfect for a little getaway with the wife. We'll definitely be back. The staff was friendly, helpful & accommodating. It's a great location in the Napa Valley. The continental breakfast was awesome. There was plenty to eat before you start your day of tasting wines in Napa. There's a little quaint Mexican market across the street. Grab yourself a burrito, chips, some homemade salsa and take it back to the room. Don't forget to open up that nice bottle of wine you bought.

Yelp
Love this place! We spent my birthday weekend there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was the perfect combination of being super attentive as well as giving us total privacy! Even though our room was a "standard" room, it had a big sitting area with fridge (perfect for cheese and charcuterie!) and a cute little balcony. The property itself is pretty small, almost like an intimate little condo/apt complex. The pool area is gorgeous and well-maintained and all the guests were respectful and kept to themselves! No loud parties or crazy kids running around. They also have wine tastings so we were able to taste some options from Round Valley when we stayed over. The breakfast is a small buffet downstairs with delicious pastries, fruit and the best part...breakfast sandwiches made with English muffins from Model Bakery! They were to die for, my husband could have had 5 of them! We've already booked our next stay in December to help support the wine valley and selfishly, to return and enjoy this cute little place!!

Yelp
This place is so cute! And the staff are amazing. The customer service at this inn is comparable to 5-star hotels. Thanks so much to the staff for being so warm and friendly. Kristi was especially helpful and present. The front desk staff were all amazing as well. I think everyone does different tasks since I saw a couple of them in different areas and they were all fantastic at it. The inn itself is at a good enough location. It's quiet. It's close to this taqueria which has some foot traffic and it's also close to Rutherford Grill (walking distance). The rooms are lovely and spacious. We stayed upstairs. The high ceiling was lovely. The room was elegant and up to date. They had plenty of tv channels available. My toddler had enough space to run around. It's fairly quiet inside the rooms too. The only issue that I can think of was the pillows. They were uncomfortable. They were bulky and not much give. I would go as far as suggesting bringing your own pillows because my husband and I didn't get much sleep both nights. Other than that we had a good time. We'd come back.
