I visit Rancho del Zocolo when new items are introduced during the season or special events take place. I wouldn't consider the food "authentic Mexican," but if you enjoy trying new foods inspired by Mexican cuisine, it's worth a try. The ordering process is cafeteria-style. You order from one of the staff members, who prepares the dishes. There are also grab-and-go snacks, along with a variety of fountain and bottled drinks. You then pay at the cashier. The portion sizes are decent to generous. My most recent visit was for lunch, and the menu featured some seasonal items, including those in celebration of the 70th Anniversary, which I enjoyed. The Shrimp Ceviche had a refreshing taste with a spicy kick--a good item to share. The Fried Tamale Walking Taco was unique with bold flavors. My family also enjoyed the Chicken Caesar Salad and Sonoma Burrito Bowl. The Iced Cafe de Olla and Cucumber Lime Agua Frescas were both refreshing and not overly sweet drink options. Desserts and snacks are also available. There are plenty of patio seats with shade, as well as some indoor seating options. It's a great place to relax. The staff have been kind and helped with your used trays and plates. They keep the area clean and tidy. Mobile ordering is not offered at this restaurant, but the line moves pretty quickly. Magic Key pass holders also redeem their discounts here.

Google
Rancho Del Zocalo Burrito Sonora with Beef Descent for Disney, had a lot of rice and little meat. The red sauce over it was nothing to write home about. Esquite Bowl Flavorful esquite bowl, they added small tortilla chips to the mix which added a nice crunch. It needed more salsa so I added some from the packets they have outside from where you purchase. Tortilla chips are freshly made with a hint of lemon. Soy Chorizo con Papa Tacos It was a smaller portion than I was expecting but it was good. I wish they would give you bigger tortillas for the tacos or at least serve it with a side of beans and rice, instead of tortilla chips. Mickey Shaped Churo Cream Puff Tasty concha like dessert filled with lechera

Google
Nice atmosphere and well themed as expected from a Disney restaurant. The food was as expected, good but not great. Service was nice and quick. I would eat here again but could easily be swayed to eat somewhere else. If you’re hungry for Mexican food this will be adequate. We had the Sanora Bowl, enchiladas and street corn. All plates were big enough to fill you up.

Google
Paid for a burrito one chicken one beef, and chicken tacos for the kids. Maybe a tablespoon worth of meat in the burrito, pretty much all beans and rice! Kids chicken was super dry almost to the point of being a choking hazard it’s so hard. Chips were good.

Meylin Munoz

Google
My plate came out with barely any chicken and the rice was not cooked well. The asada fries were big and salty. Overpriced and bad taste

Jeff Allen

Google
Food was ok. I got the nacho fries, they were good, nothing special though, wife got tacos, again they were decent, but nothing out of this world, or above average. It does have a lot of shade to sit in, so if you need a break, and can find a nice spot in the shade, would say try em out. If you don't though, your not really missing anything either.

Rancho de Zocalo Restaurante is located in Disneyland. The wait is long and it is not worth it. The place itself is super pretty inside and out, otherwise it would be 2 stars. It is clean and the service is very slow, but nice. The slow service is on the part of Disneyland who decided not to hire enough people. The server could not answer any questions about the menu. Maybe she is new. I hope that is the case. For the price you would think the food would be just super. It is not even close. I have never had such bland Mexican food in my life. I used to love spicy food, but can not longer eat it, but this was so bland it reminded me of a cheap TV dinner. It is really sad. The place is so nice looking and they could hire a chef who could cook or put together a menu. Not only was the food bland, it did not seem fresh at all. the rice was dry, the beans were okay, but the rest of the meal was not good. I am sorry I have to say, eat elsewhere.

Honest Reviews

Google
Atmosphere- 3 stars- Located in the Frontier Land section of Disneyland this counter service location is quite a busy place so it can be hectic and hard to find a table. Service- 3 stars- employees are friendly but it’s hard to rank since it’s just counter service. Food- 3 stars- I got the chicken bowl which wasn’t bad. It was a decent sized portion and filled me up. For theme park counter service it not a bad place to rest and fill up.

Yelp
Opted in for the Fantasmic! dinner package to ensure being able to see the show. As I was sitting at Castle hub beforehand, I used the passage that connects the two. Not seeing any signage for the dinner package, queued up behind others. When it was my time to proceed, the greeter asked if I had checked in for the package. I told her no, as there was nothing to indicate I needed to. I checked in and then proceeded to the dinner package. I ordered the carne asada, which had nice flavor, but a little overcooked. The esquite was a little spicy for me, but good. The refried beans and rice are as expected. The two ladies serving the food looked bored and not wanting to be there. They only offer outside dining, so had to listen to Big Thunder Railroad announcements. The dessert of white cake with raspberry filling and vanilla icing was meh. The middle fountain station had no ice and I would have to bend forward or squat to see the flavors.

Yelp
Located in Frontierland by Big Thunder Mountain. Has soda fountains, but you're not allowed to refill your cups or bottles with water. You can ask for a water cup but you may not get one (I am unsure if they have it) The fried tamale walking taco was really good, would definitely get this again! Lots of flavor, sauce and beans were good, tamale was tasty! The carne asada fries were a miss. For $15, the bowl was pretty small, the steak is bland, but the fries itself was decent (I like the wavy style). Comes with nacho cheese and avocado on top as well.

Yelp
Stopped by on Tuesday, 05/13/25 as an afternoon snack place for my boyfriend and I. Ordered the following: - 1 regular soda = $4.59 - 1 chips - crispy limon = $4.79 - 1 esquite bowl = $6.49 SUBTOTAL = $15.87 TAX = $1.23 OVERALL TOTAL = $17.10 Overall the prices at this location were pretty affordable. We liked how we were able to select and press our own drink. As a tip, you can also add ice to your water bottle if you brought one - which would be tremendously helpful for a sunny warm day.

Yelp
Spent the day in Disney and knew we'd have to grab lunch eventually. Grabbing food within the park can feel a little intimidating thanks to the crazy prices, mediocre quality, and if you have a dietary restriction? Good luck. I was pleasantly surprised by Rancho del Zocalo. It's a fast casual style spot where you order at the counter and grab your tray of food, check out, and then find a seat. Drinks and dessert are self-serve. I opted for the burrito bowl with chicken which was a generous serving size and had great flavor. My brother got the chicken entree which was huge and looked amazing! It was essentially a half chicken, roasted Peruvian style, served with rice. It actually looked amazing, I was a little jealous I didn't get it myself. Food was a bit expensive but we luckily had some coupons which took it from about $100 for three people to $60ish, if I'm remembering correctly. Definitely still expensive for what it is but that's to be expected at a place like Disney.

Yelp
Rancho del Zócalo is a solid spot to take a break and grab a bite at Disneyland. I had a burrito and it was good, not amazing, but definitely filling and flavorful enough to keep me going through the rest of the day. The real highlight here is the seating area. It is spacious, shaded, and a great place to rest your feet while enjoying a quieter moment away from the crowds. It may not be the most memorable meal in the park, but for a decent burrito and a comfortable place to recharge, it gets the job done.

Yelp
My party of 3 ate here as our final meal after a long day at the park. It's a quick service but they don't do mobile order. The line was long and we waited about 15 minutes to finally get to the front to order. They put together your meal right then and there where you order and then you pay at the cash register. My sister did not like her food at all. She got the chicken salad and the esquite bowl. I got the beef Sonora burrito. It's a large portion and it looks better than it tastes. The red sauce was a bit too bitter for my liking but was decent overall. My husband liked his chicken tinga enchiladas though which was available back in December. I wouldn't mind eating here again and trying new things. However, the food did fall a little short at this past visit.

Yelp
When at the Happiest Place on Earth (aka Disneyland)... Do... What makes YOU Happy! Go to Space (Mountain). Run from Pirates (of the Caribbean). Chase some Haunted (Mansion) Ghosts. Get completely soaked on Splash Moun... errr I mean on Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Take a selfie in front of the Magic Castle. (Treat) yourself every chance you get and make sure to eat your body weight in churros, cotton candy, turkey legs, dole whip, popcorn and dill pickles. And when it's time for lunch or dinner and your stomach suddenly needs a little "T.L.C."... Come get your T.L.C: T-acos L-ime-Cucumber Agua Fresca C-rispy Chips Con Limón And make sure to come by Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante and get your Mexican on! Remember earlier when I said do what makes YOU happy! Well you know what makes ME happy??? K Tacos, Tacos, Tacos... ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! Well lucky for YOU and even luckier for ME... A Trio of not one, not two, but THREE street tacos is on the menu and it' is 1000% my jam. The trio as it comes, comes with 1 beef (steak), 1 chicken, & 1 Soy Chorizo con papa (potato) garnished with onions, cilantro and a tomatillo salsa (I'd say it's more medium than mild, but definitely not hot), and you are allowed to mix and match, or get all 3 tacos with the same protein if you so choose. Beans & rice are offered as a side dish, definitely add these as the tacos on their own are not that filling. Not feelin' Tacos? That's ok! They've also got a Burrito Sonora with beef or chicken, Pollo Asado, Carne Asada Fries, a chicken Caesar salad or an Esquite bowl (white corn kernels, chipotle cream, crispy corn, cilantro & cotija cheese) and even a kids menu item for the littles. Trust me, everything coming out of this kitchen looks absolutely D-Lish! The only thing that would make this place any better... Is a little Margarita Action. Maybe in the future! So when you're at the Happiest Place on Earth... Find. Your. Happiness! As for my happiness... Mine just happens to be wrapped in little corn tortillas stuffed with all my favorite things! So... Whatcha gonna order??

Yelp
We are dining on a show/package plan. This allows us to pick from select entrees for dinner. I chose Sweet and Savory Carne Asada. It came with two strips of meat, about 6" long, 2" across and 1/4" thick. The flavor was nice but due to its size it was well done. It came with radish slaw. Just a bit on top of the steak. Mexican rice, Esquite (corn in a cup), Refried Beans, dessert and beverage. The corn had a little spice to it, but not bad. The beans and rice were nothing special. The dessert was a 2" cube of jam filled white cake with vanilla icing and sprinkles. Nothing special. Fountain beverages, coffee or hot chocolate. The entrees and dessert are exclusive to this package. The package includes special seating for the Fantasmic show at Disneyland. The show is immensely popular so not having to sit and hold a spot makes it a good idea. This was $35.00 per person all included. Pass and Cast Member discounts are available. As we found out just before this post, drink refills are not allowed. Other in park locations may allow it.

Yelp
Rancho del Zocalo Restaurant is right in the middle of Disneyland park. It has lovely colored shade and I love the ambiance here. They have strings of light in pretty glass colored lanterns, sturdy tables & chairs and seating under the building area. It can also get very hot especially in the summer. They have employees clearing and cleaning the tables as patrons leave. Some even come to help you. You order inside. I'm not sure what happened but I was unable to order on the app this trip. They are usually pretty quick but the wait time was longer. Or actually, sometimes they got it together in the kitchen, their assembly line and they get the order out pretty fast. Today, they took longer than normal. They got rid of the secret menu after Covid. You use to be able to order the biggest burrito with all the sauces. Now, they don't have my favorite beef tostada salad in the crispy shell. Of course everything tasted better drenched with salsa and taco sauce. My new favorite is the carne asada fries. Fries were crisp and hot with lots of toppings. It was great with salsa and taco sauce. I love to snack around the park.

Yelp
Great quieter location for people watching and watching the boats go by along the river. Came here for a late lunch for my son. For those kids that eat more where a kids meal won't suffice..he opted for the Street Taco Trio. I sampled all of them but was most surprised how tasty the cauliflower taco was! He didn't seem to notice it was vegetarian but he did say it didn't taste as good as the beef and chicken tacos. This included tortilla chips and he used these to scoop the chicken and beef that fell out of his tacos. I prefer the beef over chicken taco in flavor but overall I felt like this was a good meal. I would probably get this the next time if we come here again. Kid approved and good budget meal while visiting D-land.

Yelp
We came here mostly for the Fantasmic seated area viewing tickets, so considering the package with a meal, it's not bad! The food was OK, decently portioned. Of course, there are better food options at Disney. But if you're trying to nab those Fantasmic tickets, it's a v good deal, imo. Since we came in with low expectations, the shrimp tacos and carne asada were much better than expected. Not big dessert fans, so we didn't eat the cake slice. And a regular drink is provided as well. It's first-come first-serve for seating, but they had plenty for our 9ppl group size. Overall, it's pretty worth, all-considering.

Yelp
We came to Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante at Disneyland and it was honestly mid -- I felt like the protein in the tacos were super dry. I did like the cream cheese puffs we ordered -- but those two paired together was not a good concoction LOLL The food came out pretty quickly & I liked the decorations :-) It was nice to eat at since we were all hungry but idk if I would come back.

Yelp
When visiting the Disneyland Resort, there are so many dining options. This location is more of a cafeteria style where you have a tray to get your food served, pay, then be seated. Personally, it is not my favorite as I either prefer mobile order for ease or sit down location to rest with service to the table. Lots of seating and it is decorated throughout the year so that's nice. The soy chorizo tacos make it worth it though!
google avatar

Julia K.

Yelp
Que Rico! We celebrated my birthday yesterday at Disneyland yesterday and stopped by Rancho Del Zocalo to try out several of their menu items to share after seeing some great reviews on YouTube. Disneyland has been stepping up their Mexican eats at both parks, and we haven't tried this specific restaurant before, so we were so excited to try it out. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and Miguel from Coco can be found just around the corner for a photo op. There's flowers and outdoor seating in shaded patios spread throughout with a really nice restroom located near the entrance. It's cafeteria style, which can be a little confusing at first with multiple sections and lines where you can only order certain menu items like the torta in one place while the esquite is ordered at desserts (idk why). The staff are pretty nice overall, except for one of the oldest cast members yelled at my husband twice for getting ice water (it was 107 degrees out) and she didn't explain what the issue was, just that the cup he had was not a water cup. We had finished our drinks and needed water but I guess getting water is not okay? The management saw but just shook their head. Oh, Mama Imelda! Anyway.. the food was presented well, and my husband loved the torta, especially with a side of the tomatillo salsa. To me, the esquite was not truly anything like an esquite and lacked flavor, and the frozen hot chocolate was very thick like syrup and not very refreshing. I'd skip those. The churros, though! These are the best churros at Disney! Fresh and crunchy, and the side of cajeta was just perfect. In the future I'd like to try the chicken plate I saw other people order it looked pretty good or the tacos.
google avatar

Rigo C.

Yelp
I don't wanna ramble on, I'll be concise and just say that you're better off getting Del Taco or even Taco Bell if you're craving Mexican food. On a positive note, the churros are probably the best thing I had here.

Arundhuti K.

Yelp
In Rancho del Zocalo, we got the Fantasmic! dining package. We ordered the potato tacos, the kids chicken, and the shrimp tacos. The kids chicken was fully cooked, but it had a slimy texture. It also had no actual flavor other than salt. The shrimp in the shrimp tacos was rubbery and the taco was fried too many times and was hard to eat. The cucumbers on it also had an unpleasant taste. The tortillas in the potato tacos were the same. They were crunchy, yet drenched in sauce on the side, so much sauce that it was not pleasant to eat and hard to pick up.
google avatar

Kari T.

Yelp
Chicken fried torta was super messy but really good! I preferred that over the burrito. Service was fast and we were lucky to find seats that could fit a stroller with a sleeping baby. Would come here again for the sandwich.
google avatar

Arin G.

Yelp
Really solid meal for a theme park! We got the fantastic dining package and it was great to sit down and eat. The ambiance is nice and all of the Mexican artwork is super pretty. Service was really fast. A little pricey for what it was but it's Disneyland. The entrees were tasty and unique!

Yelp
We returned to Disneyland and California Adventure to start off Father's Day weekend. We had specific plans to visit San Fransokyo Square and take pics with Baymax (daughter's request), ride The Cars 'Radiator Springs Racers' and Star Wars 'The Rise of the Resistance', then ending with the 'Fantasmic!' night show. For the show, we purchased the dining package from Rancho del Zocalo that included access to a reserved viewing area. There was no line when we arrived. We were directed to the podium where we were checked in, given menus and instructions. The preset 3-course dinner is Mexican-Korean fusion style cuisine. For our entrées we chose the Sweet & Savory Carne Asada, Chile Verde Riblet and Sweet & Spicy Shrimp Tacos. They were each plated with radish kimchi, cilantro-lime rice, Korean potato salad and refried beans. A slice of Cortadillo is included. We then selected a refillable fountain drink at the beverage station. The cashier at the exit issued the tickets to the reserved viewing area after we paid. I enjoyed everything, especially the spicy shrimp. They were plump and nicely cooked. My husband and daughter said the carne asada and riblets were tender and flavorful, but they didn't care much for the radish kimchi. The Cortadillo for dessert was quite good. It was perfectly moist and not too sweet. There's more than enough indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Water and condiment stations are outside. The tables are continuously cleared and cleaned. The crew members were all friendly and helpful. The price point is affordable, only made better with my husband's employee discount. We would definitely dine here again.

Yelp
Rancho Del Zocalo Burrito Sonora with Beef Descent for Disney, had a lot of rice and little meat. The red sauce over it was nothing to write home about. Esquite Bowl Flavorful esquite bowl, they added small tortilla chips to the mix which added a nice crunch. It needed more salsa so I added some from the packets they have outside from where you purchase. Tortilla chips are freshly made with a hint of lemon. Soy Chorizo con Papa Tacos It was a smaller portion than I was expecting but it was good. Mickey Shaped Churo Cream Puff Tasty concha like dessert filled with lechera

Yelp
I was at Disneyland and picked this place to eat with family. The chicken salad looked good, but the dressing upset my stomach. The burritos were small and the chips were overly salty. I do have to say that I would give 5 stars for the outside staff, they were very friendly and hard workers. Would I eat here again, no.
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
Both my daughter and I got the plate of street tacos. She opted to get three chicken while I decided to try all three flavors. It came with a side of green salsa, which was not too spicy, just perfect. I also ordered a side of guacamole and a Agua Fresca which was a perfect match to the tacos. If you want some good tacos with quick service I would definitely come here to eat.

Yelp
Located in Frontierland next to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The ambiance is nice and the service was pretty good. It's cafeteria style so you order your food at the counter and place it on a tray. Then make your way to the drinks and desserts before you pay by the exit. The food is decent and the portions are pretty big. I was excited to try the Horchata Cold Brew but sadly I probably won't get it again. It just tasted like regular horchata - I couldn't taste the coffee.

Yelp
We've never seen Fantasmic and we finally conquered it. We did the Fantasmic dining package at Rancho del Zocala and it did not disappoint. I got the sweet and savory carne asada plate. The whole plate was amazing. The beans were light and airy. The squeezed the lime on the rice and carne asada. The carne asada was flavorful. I did add hot sauce for a little more heat. The perfect bite was a piece of carne asada, rice and beans. It was magical. My wife loved her sweet and spicy shrimp. I did try it and I need more heat. She didn't get the beans but got extra rice. I enjoyed half the cake and my wife was not a fan of it. She isn't a fan of raspberry. It was not overwhelmingly sweet at all. But I had to try it all. I can't speak for service, since you grab your plate and drink. Then find a table. But all the workers were super friendly and helpful. The Fantasmic reserved seating that came with the dining package was worth it. Food alone would have been the same price but we had our own reserved section right in the center. Thank you Rancho del Zocalo!
google avatar

Yelp
I got the pollo asado and it was okayy. Nothing special. The chicken looked better than it tasted. The rice and beans were solid. Would I come here again?... Maybe

Yelp
Honestly this place was great although I feel like they could have added a little more detail to the menu so we could understand because my mom thought that something on the menu was a salad but in reality it was fries with cheese but overall it was really good.

Ashley E.

Yelp
Food was good but employees very rude. My son went back in before we left and out two squirts of lemonade in his cup to top it off and three people chased us around demanding we lay $5.95 for a refill . So after making a fuss I decided to just be pay or after the employee JANETH demanded we pay for our "refill"! My son is six years old and they made a scene! I paid over $500 in this place in two hours and they still were petty about a child putting less than one inch in his cup! If you like rude service come here!

Yelp
We stopped by Rancho del Zocalo for a quick service lunch located at Disney land park. This restaurant is located near frontier land. I wish that the trio of tacos came with rice and beans instead of chips as it wasn't the most filling for $14, however, I would recommend the kids meal as it came with a burrito, veggies, apple sauce, rice and a drink for only $8. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side for the tacos. They loaded the sauce up and it was VERY spicy. The description does not tell you it's spicy but it definitely is. There is plenty of seating and they offer a refillable drink station. Overall decent quick service restaurant and we will be back.
google avatar

Jasmine D.

Yelp
If you don't feel like eating burgers or fried food, I recommend this place! It's a quick service restaurant that serves Mexican-American fare such as enchiladas, tostadas salads, and fajitas. They're also vegetarian friendly and offer dishes such as cauliflower tacos, along with rice and beans. Simply grab a tray, place your order (which is plated then handed to you by a cast member), grab a fountain drink (if you desire) then pay at the register. Be on the lookout for limited time drinks or desserts, such as the Mickey shaped churro cream puff! Silverware, napkins and salsa packets are available in the dining area, which is a covered courtyard. *magic key discounts can be used here!

Yelp
This place is delicious!! I've eaten here twice now and both times just delicious food!! Yesterday my wife ordered the steak Sonora burrito and I ordered the chicken Sonora bowl. Both were amazing and presentation was on point too! We enjoyed relaxing on the patio here and had a wonderful day in the park. Thanks for making our day enjoyable, Rancho de Zocalo!!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food, quick service, great portions. Ambiance is outdoor cantina feel. Kids got the chicken bowls, and I got the enchiladas. Enchiladas were well prepared and the rice and beans were proper.

Yelp
Located in Frontierland at Disneyland right by Big Thunder Mountain railroad ride. The menu is not large but they have some good items. The process of waiting in line if busy the cast member will direct you to a line you go up and place your order and once you get it you go to the register to pay. Magic Key discounts apply. NOTE: no mobile ordering for this one. I got the trio street tacos which included beef, chicken and soy chorizo also a side of chips. All three were yummy I would definitely get them again. I also got the strawberry pineapple agua Fresca very refreshing. They have tables inside as well as outside. Prices are Disney prices lol. Overall a good experience here and the food was good as well.

This place is by Frontier land. Went here on Satuday around 4pm Sat (11.16.24). The food is just ok. Ordered a burrito and chicken. Chicken was moist the beef burrito was dry and a bit on the small side. Self serve sodas with no lids anywhere. You would get your lids at the cashier. I asked the cashier for a lid.. she stated, I was going to get to it. Her response sounded like like an irrated person that did not want to be there. Poor customer service I exhibited from the cashier (Middle age Hispanic lady) Not sure I would come back to this restaurant due to a rude experience. The positive, there are alot of seats available.

Yelp
Cool restaurant inside Disney, next to Thunder Mountain. The outside is beautifully decorated, the inside is like a cafeteria style, assembly line. A little confusing as certain items are only assembled and served in particular areas but signage not really clear. Fries were tasty, the iced hot chocolate was tasty and the Esquite needed mayo. The service was okay, the cashiers were fast but there was an old lady enforcing weird rules by the drinks. Will come back to taste more dishes like the Torta.

Yelp
The Hubby and I ate here while waiting for the girls to get off Big Thunder Mountain. It's cafeteria style and you can pick various options. We had the Chicken Cesar Salad and the Trio of Street tacos. They have large portions. There is plenty of outdoor seating and it's shaded and covered. It's a nice to have something different than the usual park food!

Yelp
If you are vegan or vegetarian I'd recommend the chicken burrito! Because it came with absolutely no chicken. Barely any tortilla chips but I didn't really care about that the burrito was what I was looking forward to. Service was fine was nice and cool inside. Their other food might be good but don't go with either of the burritos...you'll get skimped

Yelp
Really thought the cucumber lime agua fresca would be refreshing on a 97 degree day... I was wrong!! It was thick and extremely pulpy. We tried asking for a cup of ice to dilute the drink, even asked the cast member helping us if it was meant to taste this way and they said yes. The drink wouldn't even go through the ice when we tried pouring it over.. The flavor.. wasn't too terrible, but the TEXTURE??? I imagine if they strained the entire thing it would taste a lot better but respectfully, I don't want to yuck anyone's yum. It just wasn't my cup of tea and now i'm down $8. (My bf also tried to finish the drink but ended up throwing it up) COULD be a texture thing... but i FEEL in my bones... it should not have been so THICK

Yelp
What can I say or add? It's Disney, so bearable food that appeals to the masses is what you expect. Special menu for Fantasia show and we got the carne asada plate and shrimp taco plate. Weird "Korean" condiments on both. On the side for carne asada and on the shrimp tacos. "Kimchi slaw" and "kochujang" sauce. Salsa is extra and service is questionable as they don't want to answer questions about their weird "Korean" toppings and lack of salsa for "Mexican" dishes. Probably still one of the better places to eat at Disneyland, but sure think they can do better if they wanted. The cashier is always great and we try to go to the same one.

Yelp

Yelp
The strawberry pineapple Fresca was 10/10. Really refreshing in this heat! There is plenty of seating in the shade and with a nice breeze. I used to come here and get the tostada salad. Sadly it's no longer on the menu. The cast members are kind and informed and the tables were all clean! The fries were a little hard but there was some nice flavor.

Yelp
Overall pleasantly surprised. The line took a while but the portions were huge. I split the shrimp tacos with rice, beans, and pasta salad with someone and they shared their potato tacos. Two shrimps per stream taco with lots of good toppings. The potato tacos were crispy and very flavorful. Beans had some spice to them and I enjoyed the potato salad quite a bit. There wasn't any table service and you cleared your own table. The outside patio area was well kept but the floor was very uneven so be careful walking! Not the best food at Disney but I would put it in the top 15%.

Yelp
Purchased the standard Fantasmic dining package for Rancho del Zocalo. Thought it was decently priced at $35/person with outlined options for our meal, plus the package included a reserved viewing area for the Fantasmic shows (first and second show), which we also got to decide on. This dining package wasn't paid for when I made the reservation, but it does require listing a credit card in case we failed to cancel our reservation in their outlined time frames so it can charge us $10/person for not showing up. Anyway, we arrived early, which the emailed instructions on our reservation told us to do. The hostesses seemed a bit curt with us though, especially when we asked them about the viewing area since it was our first time paying for this kind of Disney park experience. Once they gave us our meal tickets to present to the cashier after getting our meal, they also directed us to visit the white-roped counter to order our food. Ordering at the service counter was fine. Took about 5 minutes total to get our trayed options. I got the sweet and spicy shrimp taco, and the hubby got the sweet and savory carne asada. At the cashier's area, we paid then received our tickets for the reserved Fantasmic seating area. The food was flavorful, but it's honestly not well put together. Hated eating cilantro stems, and not having chopped shrimp pieces makes eating it a messier experience. The soda fountain wasn't tended to either because my regular Coca-Cola tasted weird. As far as our Fantasmic experience went that night... It was cool. For the standard dining package we got, we got to sit on the floor near the water. The seating area's line starts at The Haunted Mansion, but the viewing area ends up centered on the Mark Twain Island's stage. Worth it for us short(er) people.

Yelp
Located within Disneyland. We dined at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante for the Fantasmic Dining Package. This restaurant is cafeteria style. For $35, it comes with entree, rice, potato salad, and a fountain drink (including hot cocoa). I ordered the Sweet and Savory Carne Asada and hot cocao. The carne asada was good, but I didnt finish the sides.

Yelp
Terrible vegetarian choices for kids. Burrito is NOT cooked. Cold cheese with a cold tortilla. Really disappointing.

Yelp
The line we chose was super slow, in comparison to the others. So we were not thrilled about that. While it wasn't extremely packed inside, they did have a decent flow of customers. The ambiance made you feel like you were really at a cantina. While I almost ordered the street taco's, I ended up ordering the half a chicken. I am glad I did. It was pretty good, I am not sure if I would have been satisfied with the taco's. I would eat here again when going back to the park.

Yelp
I stopped at Rancho del Zocalo with my family while at Disneyland. We had to wait in line a little to order but it moved pretty quickly. You go up to the counter and order, they'll quickly make your food and place it on a tray, you then take your tray to grab drinks, stop at the dessert counter and then pay for it all as you exit. I didn't like that I had to wait to order food then wait again to order dessert with a tray full of food and drinks but the dessert line went really quick. I ordered the chicken tostada salad, horchata cold brew and Mickey cream puff. The chicken salad was a large portion and pretty good. The only thing I'd note is something in it (possibly the dressing) had a bit of a sweet flavor to it which I didn't think quite went with a Mexican salad. The horchata cold brew was sooo yummy but very sweet! I highly recommend but next time I might ask for a higher ratio of coffee to tone down the sweetness a bit! I think I could do without the cream puff next time and get another treat. There's plenty of outdoor seating and open tables for dinning and was a quieter area in the park, so we enjoyed that.

Yelp
Hard to find bad Mexican food in or near LA, but you can definitely get it here! Really disappointing, although I guess it's par for the course in the park.

Yelp
2 stars The food here doesn't match how nice the seating area is. I was pretty disappointed by the cheese enchiladas I got....the tortilla was thick, hard and dry, and the three cheese blend was hard too. You have to have very little experience eating Mexican food to like this place. Go to DCA for slightly better Mexican food...not that much better, but certainly better than this. Service is pretty is much cafeteria-style self-service inside. However, there are people outside who will take your plate/trays for you. Line is long, but it goes by pretty quickly...I think I waited about 10-15 minites. Is there a lightening lane for this? LOL Anyways, I guess the 2 stars is for how nice and clean the patio is and the much-appreciated heat lamps.
