R&R BBQ

Wow. incredibly disappointing online order. I don't know if we got ripped off because it was an online order or this was standard. But the portions were abysmal. I ordered a 3 meat plate. It only had 2 pieces of brisket. And then the smallest portions of the other 2 meat. The side of sweat potato fries was also insanely small. Just a complete waste of money. Definitely don't do online orders. Maybe eating there is better

Where do I start. The service was fine. The food was 30 mins late. I couldn't eat with my wife. They forgot about my order. The pickle fries were seasoned too much and weren't good. I ordered smoked turkey, sausage, and chicken. After they forgot my food they told me that they didn't have turkey even though I already paid for it. They gave me brisket instead. Both the chicken and brisket were flavorless. The sausage was actually good. I've been to R&R many times. I literally told my wife that my bbq is better. Sad to see it go down like this.

The fries they gave me were old and dried out. Very gross. So I went and asked for mashed potatoes as a replacement to my gross fries and the gravy had the consistency of water. I’ve never been so disappointed in R&R before. Two terrible sides in a row. As a previous employee and a frequent customer I know they can do better. I will not be coming back to this location.

I usually love R&R, so my husband and I went out for a date night to get tacos. We ordered 4 brisket tacos (paid an extra $1 for brisket), 2 drinks, and 1 side of fries. The total was around $35+, which wouldn’t have been bad if the food matched the price. Unfortunately, it really missed the mark. Both of our tacos were: • Loaded with coleslaw to the point they were soggy • Had maybe 4 small chunks of fatty brisket each • Hardly any actual meat which we paid extra for It was so bad that I had to ask for a new set of tacos. My husband didn’t ask for his to be remade, but he wasn’t happy either but ate one of mine. The second set was a little better, but it’s frustrating that they didn’t make them right the first time especially when we paid extra for brisket and basically got coleslaw with brisket fat. It’s expensive to eat out and this was proof why we should stop For the price, it felt like a rip-off. We couldn’t even pick up the tacos because they were falling apart from all the coleslaw. My husband said we won’t be coming back, and honestly I don’t blame him. I love tacos, so I might consider trying again only if they start making the brisket tacos with a reasonable amount of meat and less coleslaw. Otherwise, they should lower the price and just call them “coleslaw tacos with brisket fat” because that’s what we got. Overall, really let down.

Today I noticed a huge stark contrast in the high-quality of meat that I’m used to From R&R barbecue. I ordered sliced brisket and the cut of meat I received was Hard, grizzly, and stringy. I was immediately concerned, and I brought my concerns to the staff who said no worries they would give me another piece, but the second piece they gave me was even worse than the first! It was so hard, Full of fat And was starkly different from the usual sliced brisket quality. I emailed them and no response

R&R is a brand that doesn’t disappoint. Their food is always consistent, and you always know you’ll get quality in every item you order there! Well done R&R!

After spending $50 for a pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, and 3 sides (fried pickles, hush puppies, and coleslaw), I can confidently say I’ll never be back here again. The food came out cold, like it was just pulled out from the refrigerator. They asked what type of sauce we wanted, and it came out plain, with sauces on the table. By far some of the worst barbecue I’ve had in my life. A McRib from McDonald’s is far better than this. Two bites of food were taken and the rest was thrown away because it was that bad, and typically I can stomach just about any food, hot or cold. This was just pathetic.

Me and my friend got two separate orders one was with ribs, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and mashed potatoes w gravy. The other one was ribs, sliced brisket, Mac n cheese, and mashed potatoes w gravy. When we got our order we were told they ran out of ribs which we understand it happens but we thought since we ordered online they would at least call us or email us to ask if we wanted a replacement for the meat but instead they just doubled the meat. We got 3 Mac n cheeses and 1 mashed potato which was wrong. The sliced brisket was nothing but blubber and not meat. And the Mac n cheeses were legit just cooked noodles no cheese no nothing it just seems like they added milk to it since it seemed watery. No flavor for the meat or anything really. And how can you even get mashed potatoes with gravy wrong???? Really disappointed in how this whole experience was. Working in customer service you think it would be common sense to contact the customer and let them know you ran out of something instead of just doing what you want. Love this place. Don't get the lower ratings because it's always good food. Nachos are amazing, chopped brisket and pulled pork. What's not to like?

This establishment has gone down hill. We have tried it several times hoping for some redemption but each time are left disappointed. When you walk inside it is chaos and full of empty headed high schoolers. Watch a server drop wings on table and then proceed to put them back on a plate and serve them tonight. #wherehasdickiesgone

Tasty "Fast Food" style BBQ. We grabbed a number and ordered from our table instead of waiting in line. Service: Fairly quick and friendly. Food: Pulled pork nachos were pretty good, but seemed quite plain. Meat, Queso, diced tomatoes (fun fresh flavor) and white sauce was all that was included. Add your own BBQ sauce from the table. I would've enjoyed them more with a thinner chip. Hubby had 3 meat meal: pulled pork, turkey and ribs. Side of mashed potato and roll. Meat was dry, even after adding sauce. Potatoes were cold and roll was very dry. I couldn't even finish the bite I "borrowed". Cleanliness: Best part of the visit. I won't be running back anytime soon.

Quality is hit or miss. Ordered delivery today and it was over cooked and dry... super disappointed

There are R&R BBQ chains popping up around Utah so we decided to give it a try. Pretty good stuff! The owner did a great job decorating the interior of the restaurant and didn't spare on any details. What an inviting atmosphere! We ordered 2 plates at $15.99 each: Pulled pork, baked beans & roll Bbq chicken, garden salad & hush puppies We also got a side of mac n cheese to share for $3.99. Good bbq and good service!

Not good. We usually go to R&R in SoJo and Lehi but we wanted to try a new location. We won't be back. Food was more than dry. Look like the brisket on my husband's nachos was not cooked fresh the same day. I don't eat meat, so to say the baked potato was dry too says a lot. The side salad was ok but so tiny. The young lady taking our order had a dry personality too. She got nicer after my son told her she had a crappy attitude. I don't understand - Too expensive these days to think we'll come back if you treat us poorly and skimp on quality. Must be the location tho cuz I've never had this issue with R&R before. Maybe they don't offer fresh meat on Sundays to save on cost???

I normally love R&R BBQ, but this location has consistently given me old, dry food. The brisket was dry on my last visit. The hush puppies were stale on the previous visit and the chicken was cold. The portions have consistently gotten smaller and the prices are a little higher. I've heard others say similar things about this location. It's a shame because I've loved going to the other locations. If there is another location somewhat close to you, choose that one. You'll probably get better food. The service has always been excellent here and the flavor of their BBQ sauces is top notch.

I came here on a date on a Thursday evening at about 6:30 and it was PACKED. Super long line too so we decided to get takeout and eat in the parking lot before going to the escape room place nearby (hence my dark picture). My date got the deal of the day which was the rib tips and fries and I got the pulled pork nachos. The fries were good. The ribs were dry! Pretty hard to chew. Not very flavorful either. We decided not to eat them and to just share the nachos. We both really liked the queso and the meat was tender and smoky. I would definitely order them again!

Great food. Fast service. Friendly staff. Make sure to come back on Tuesday for their taco Tuesday special. My favorite day to come here.

Horrible experience!!!! I come in here all the time and they make it the same way. This time I come in they said they can't make it that way anymore and I asked if they could remake it and they did and then they gave me all of the fat for the meat because I asked them to remake it. Horrible customer service this time. Will definitely not come back to this location again!!!!!!!!!

AMAZING food, and the wait wasn't long at all. Lamani and Brooklyn were SUPER helpful with menu suggestions, and got the food out quickly. I will be back!

It used to be great. I always got half rack. Last two times were not so great. Half rack looked like kids meal. Ribs were thin skinny and dry. Fries tasted like it was sat there for a while and dried.

Dinner was so good tonight! Service was super fast and everything came out delicious!! We also love the outdoor play area to keep my little guy entertained!!

Not much brisket at all. Fried batter balls take up half of what should be fried pickles. New BBQ joint coming to MVV these folks better step their game up.

We had the best experience! We sat next to a family who had a little boy who forgot to give his customizations when he ordered. He was so nervous to say anything, but Mani came by and asked him if he was okay and he said that he forgot to say "no cheese." Mani not only redid his meal for him, but he made the little boy smile. It was too nice and so sweet. Then later, another guy named Marshall came by and checked on the little boy again as he was cleaning. I think that's above and beyond! It was clean, organized, and the staff were adorable! Thanks for being kind.

The food was good, but the service was even better! Jordan was very kind and his food recommendations were amazing!!

Good BBQ sometimes you can tell it's been sitting for awhile before the serve which sucks but when it's fresh it's good. Their sauce is legit and they have classic sides.

The food is usually delicious, but this new location is always out of food. Came in on a Sunday and they were out of 3/4 of their menu. They blamed it on supply chain issues, but I go to many other restaurants and I never see a sign on the door of other establishments stating they were out of everything. Sounds like management at this location needs to figure it out and learn how to order properly. This is the third time I've been here since it opened and every time they were out of a lot of items. Second weekend in a row. Don't know that we will be back.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a Caveman burger and paid extra to add bacon. After I ordered my food to go, I was told apparently they are out of patties and could use sausage instead. I was fine with that. After getting home and looking at my food. They forgot to add the bacon that I paid for. I guess that's what happens when teenagers rather be look on on their phones instead of making yourbfood properly. The "Burger" was okay. To say the least I was really disappointed with the experience. Probably won't be back to this location anytime soon.

Great little place if you are craving a BBQ They've got some amazing peach cobbler along with red cream soda to really top off your night.

UTAH Food State is AWEFUL BORING R&R bbq pork and brisket was cold no flavor aweful!!! Our supposedly hit plate was refrigerator freezing cold on our plate! Other customers were devastated disappointed else well! Our Hush puppies & fries was hard cold as a rock dried greasy!!! MAC RONNIE oh My God super dry sticky no flavor!!!! For $15.00 a plate total $32.00 was totally NOT NOT WORTH IT GO ELSEWHERE!!! We're better off at Olive Garden or in & out or DEL taco to be sarcastic taste better and very affordable! White folks food suck no flavor and cold!!!

R&R in Riverton took great care of our group. Family feast meal and two orders of wing was far more than 7 of us could consume. Wings were great, pork was great, and the chicken was excellent as well.

Honestly the best food I've ever tried, I would definitely recommend the loaded baked potato. Every other place that has baked potatoes are gross and bland, if you are looking for something that's fast, delicious, and has meat, R&R is definitely the place to go. Don't worry for you guys for don't eat meat they have plenty of vegan options. R&R BBQ in riverton is definitely a 5 star establishment.

If you want a cold, dry, overcooked and reheated cheeseburger from 4 days ago then this is the place for you! Seriously the grossest hamburger I've ever eaten. The mashed potatoes were bland. The mac and cheese was bland. The walls and ground were dirty. The food came out quick but I'm assuming the food had already been sitting out or was reheated. We also got the chicken wings which were like a 3 out 5 so if you must come here thats what I'd recommend.

My Nachos were amazing, thought I would save some for tomorrow but ate them all, service was fast and resturant was clean also wanted to give a shout out to Kerin who too our order, very pleasant, smile on his face and made suggestions, 2 thumbs up!

4 times I've been here on a Friday progressively earlier and they are always "sold out of meatloaf" in addition to at least one other thing. Need to pull their $&%! together at this location. D

I've tried multiple locations hoping it would be different than the other locations. Both times during busy hours the food was luke warm. third time going tried the brisket burger and was dry and seem like it was premade.

Great, friendly service and great Texas-style BBQ! Angel was very helpful with questions too! So happy R&R has made its way out to Riverton!

Seriously, my wife and I paid for giving R&R one more chance. Not only was the "food" mostly fat (not phat), we felt nauseous for a day afterwards. JUST. SAY. NO!

Super delicious. Good portions for a fair price. Their loaded backed potato was awesome. The peach cobbler was super delicious as well. Would recommend and would come back. The Mac n cheese was a little hollow on flavor, but everything else was so good! Great meats!

I tried the new location last week for lunch. Had the "moist" (their description, lol) sliced brisket and chicken, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Sauce options are good. Was pretty good overall but portions seemed a bit small for the cost.

If you are looking for good bbq, don't go here. I have studied bbq in every region of the country and appreciate the time and attention to serving up something to be proud of. The brisket was dry and appears to be prepared in a factory. The slices were of consistently perfect thickness. Ok not a problem, but when I saw the rainbow of metallic looking colors in the meat, I doubt it was smoked with wood. Probably chemicals. The andouille sausage was green in the middle, transitioned to brown, then red outer ring. Again, not a natural smoke appearance or taste. Reminded me of one of those carnival style hotdogs that look really yummy and kind of red until you bite in and see the middle. This food seems to have been sitting around for a long time. This is sad because the original R&R was pretty darn good and I use Texas and Tennessee BBQ as my benchmark of good bbq. I paid $26 for these two meats, a side of fries and a large drink. I threw most of it away. Also, the sauces on the table were separated (watery on top). I don't recommend this place. I don't recommend this place.

Food portions where awful! Every time I order the nachos they put very little meat on it! My buddy purchased the same thing and they put 3 to 4 times as much on it!

Food is terrible. BBQ tacos is pork boiled in sugar water (dry and overly sweet) in cold corn tortillas and coleslaw on top. Mac and Cheese was probably made by Sysco.

Food mostly was okay but the brisket I asked for specifically their wet brisket and it was very very dry and very small portions

Made an online order; 2 meat plate with a salad and ranch, and chips and queso. I got home and realized no ranch for the salad, and no BBQ sauce that was added to the order. The tortilla chips were so soft they were actually chewy. The meat was good, but would have loved some sauce. Overall, not a great takeout experience.

Great service. Great food. Had the Cobb salad with chicken because the turkey is being prepped for Thanksgiving

Not sure why they only have 2.5 stars. We live in the south and are just visiting. A little weird to walk into a BBQ joint and not smell smoke. Pork was lean and flavorful. Served on a very fresh bun. One suggestion the menu should say 5 Jumbo wings for $9.99. We actually got 6 and they were huge. All in all it was fast and good. Would I return? Maybe if I lived here but as a tourist I would want to explore and try different places.

Staff is super friendly. Food is super good! A couple times when I've come they were out of things, but that's been the case at a couple different BBQs I go to so I'm guessing that's pretty normal. Definitely best BBQ in the area!

Got a one meat plate with chopped brisket. Only comes with 5 pieces. Two of my pieces were practically fat so it wasn't edible. I also paid an extra $2.50 for this meat. I will not be going back to R&R since they like ripping people off...

Literally every single time we come, they're out of ribs. Every time! Then tonight, we order online and they cancel our order because they're out of ribs, well we were already there to pickup, so we ordered brisket instead. The brisket was SO beyond fatty, and the fries were cold and stale. Literally so gross & we won't be back! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Arrived on Thursday night around 6, no line and was able to order quickly. Before we even got to our table two of our 4 orders were following us. The food was luke warm to cold. The ribs were very dry and not alot of meat, only 2 small ribs, small portion of pulled pork, fries and a drink. $18.00 If the food had been hot and ribs not dry it might have been close to being worth $18.00 but overall after paying $76 for 4 people we were all unsatisfied with what we received both in quality and quantity.

Went for dinner, and they were out of everything. So I thought ok, I will settle for a burger, nope. Out of burgers too. I mean everything? They had beer, but no one working was over 21 so they could not sell it. Horrible management, poor planning, Why would I go back with so many options near by?

If there were 0 stars I'd select that. I love R&R BBQ and eat there almost every day. But this riverton location absolutely sucks. There brisket is always way over cooked or cold. All meats don't taste like any of the other R&R's and the employees are shit. Usually R&R has the best employees. If I was the owner of this store I'd fire everyone and have the lehi R&R come up and train these fools. Worst food experience I've ever had. Completely uneatable food at this R&R and they have children who don't understand smoking meet doing their cooking. Again - worst experience ever.

The service and the atmosphere at this new bbq spot in Mountain View village is superb! Must try!
