First time here and it was great - I did not buy a whole lot but the ones that I did buy were really moist and delicious. The donuts here tastes really fresh. The person who helped me was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back

Google
A must stop while in LA, and it didn’t disappoint. The donuts were great, the coffee was excellent, and the service was amazing!

Came in from 3 hours north for a trip to LA Recorder Office to wait for 2 hours at the office. Seen Randy's on my way home and decided to treat us to a donut. Came in and instantly was welcomed by Ashlie at the counter. She was AH-Mazing! She was friendly, outgoing, and made our prior experience melt away. Her friendly personality and knowledge of flavors of each donut helped us decide on the kind of treat we needed. Plus she made a few recommendation's that turned out to be delicious! If we are back in town, we will make our way to this location for the delicious donuts and wonderful staff!

Google
We stopped here because of the famous donut on the building. The doughnuts are good!

Google
Randy’s Donuts are decent but nothing special. The powdered donuts taste stale, like they’re a day old, and aren’t as soft as they should be. Another downside is how often they run out of popular options—it’s frustrating. Make more donuts!

Google
Ordered an assortment of flavors visiting for the first time here today, and so far, every flavor has been a hit with the family! The matcha donut is my favorite thus far of what I've tried (that flavor balance was absolutely *chef's kiss*), but for not being a fan of red velvet myself, I have to say that donut was perfectly moist and fluffy! The crispness of the other donuts, that slight crunch on the outside with the airy, chewy center, is phenomenal! The people there certainly know their craft, with how unquestionably perfect each donut is! I will say, though... those extra large donuts are DAUNTING— in a sense that one day I hope to get one and see if I'm up to task with tackling it in one go! Front of house staff was kind and patient with us as we asked our questions, chose our flavors, and told us a little bit about the chain's (and specific location's) history. If we ever make it back into South Cali again, I'm sure we'll make another stop in for more!

Google
Just recently found out about this location and it is just as good as the original location.so happy I stopped in!! Glazed donuts are fantastic ...light fluffy chewy sweet DELICIOUS!! Chocolate cake donut fantastic and the maple bacon bar very good as well!! Randy's is an LA staple a must have!

Google
Awkward and disappointing experience, I placed an online order and to my surprise they were out of the donuts I had ordered. The app is misleading because it let me know it was “sold out” of specific donuts and I OBVIOUSLY ordered the ones that are “available” I arrived to pick up and they did not have the correct donuts. The lady there was also making a big deal about Honoring donuts I was promised from a previous visit. In that visit they were sold out of the donuts I ordered. P.S THEY DON’T MAKE THEIR OWN DONUTS IN THE SAME LOCATION. THEY ARE TRANSFERRED FROM THE MAIN LOCATION. Go figure! Wish they were “Fresh out the fryer” lol

Yelp
I absolutely will never get beloved cake donuts anywhere. On top of being beautiful they are fresh, great selection, and taste divine! Service is always great and friendly. They are speedy and usually have your favorite on stick. Large selection! My favorites are vanilla, cherry, devils food, both blueberry, orange on and on. It's old school and drive thru and super clean and lit up in their displays if you walk up to order. It's really a nice little place to visit and get what you expect in a "donut!" Go there you will not regret it!

Yelp
That pink hair girl they have working at Randy's reallyyyyy has to go, she is so damn rude and careless . One time I even had to leave cause she was so rude and inappropriate taking my order I just drove away and this time I asked for hot Sandwiches, she didn't even warm them up for, maybe for 2 seconds and have handed them to me like that just cold . I have never experienced this at this store , every other employee is so attentive and care for the product they are serving . THAT PINK HAIR GIRL HAS TO GOOOOO, she has issues for real.

Yelp
I came by Randy's earlier this morning and had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Natalie took the time to explain their different donut flavors & prices, and gave me some recommendations based on my preferences. The donuts were fresh, soft, and delicious-- honestly some of the best l've ever had!!! The shop itself was clean, cozy, and had a great atmosphere. I could tell they really care about the quality of their food and service. The Red Velvet and Nutella Raised were my favorite, thank you Natalie for recommending!! I'll definitely be back to try more flavors. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Yelp
We love Randy's donuts We especially love the cronuts and apple fritter...buuuut we love them alllll Theme days are very fun!! The donuts are fresh every single day- the frosting is nice and thick and let's talk donut holes...they call them "rounds" and they are enormous! Make sure to grab a few for your drive home Ohhhh! There's a drive through, feel free to go in pj's

Yelp
10:30pm and didn't have no chocolate donuts at all! Only had two glazed left and a few of the old fashioned. I know they close at 12am so just wondering what time they stop making donuts because there was a line of cars. A bit disappointing

Ruth T.

Yelp
I stopped by this morning and was helped out by Natalie and she was very helpful and gave great recommendations. First time here and will be returning! Amazing customer service from her

Yelp
Management has reached out regarding the customer service my mom experienced. Thank you.

Yelp
Convenient, fast, lots of selection. A classic glutinous gluttony of Los Angeles! Looking out for their seasonal flavors to gift to other people. The cashier got through my order quickly and the store was clean and nice.

Yelp
Your Thoughts? 1/2 The red velvet donut at Randy's was pretty good, featuring a rich flavor and moist texture that really made it stand out, although it did end on a slightly bad note with an artificial aftertaste. Red velvet usually has that sort of taste as its the nature of the flavor, but some are better done than others. I have yet to try the breakfast sandwich from this location but I tried it elsewhere and it seamlessly combines sweet and savory for a breakfast sandwich that is sure to hit the spot. I recall it being quite filling. Proceed with caution and expect an extended digestion period after consuming this bad boy. Expenses: 1/1 Standard prices for non classic donuts. Location: 1/1 Clean with plenty of parking available. Staff was polite and I was able to complete my transaction using a debit card. Possibility of a Future Visit & Recommendation: 1/1 I'll come back at some point to try some more wacky donuts and to grab the breakfast sandwich on a particularly hungry morning.

Yelp
The best are the apple fritters and filled donuts. Always fresh and it is large! Service and ambiance is ok. Parking. Is adequate.

Yelp
Randy's donuts taste like any other donut shop that you will see in your local neighborhood. The one thing that sets them apart is their breakfast sandwiches. The bacon and egg sandwich is really good and is very cheap. Typically, when I go here, I get the Texas glaze. I've never had any issues with transitions of the employees, and the establishment is always clean.

Lorena S.

Yelp
Went at about 10pm and took in consideration the donuts that where labeled as SOLD OUT but the ones that where not labeled where also sold out... interesting when they close at 2am. Then when asked what did they have he named them so fast and with a rude tone. So just left and took my business else where

Michael D.

Yelp
best raspberry lemonade ive ever had thank u Natalie! will definitely be returning to try other flavors

Mark P.

Yelp
No wonder they are so successful! Long history of constantly amazing doughnuts! The new store on Scottsdale Rd and Bell is amazing!!
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
Unexpected delicious on the go breakfast. Drive thru was empty and service was great. Ordered a breakfast sandwich with well done bacon on an English muffin and it was oh so good! Didn't realize the hash brown was inside the sandwich but I wasn't disappointed! Everything was perfectly cooked from my well done bacon to the egg and hashbrown. It's always great when you take your first bite and it's actually hot, showing it's freshly made. Also ordered a chocolate raised donut and caramel macchiato. Delicious donut as expected but the coffee could have used more coffee :-/ I will for sure return for another breakfast sandwich!

Yelp
I had Randy's for the first time in Resorts World in Vegas and I fell in LOVE! I was given a fresh and warm donut. I remember it being pillowy soft and it melting in my mouth! I was really looking forward to my second time around while in the LA area and this was the closest location to me. I stopped by around 10:30 am. The workers were polite and helpful. I was offered a box or a bag. My friends and I selected an assortment of different types of donuts. My personal favorite donut style is a basic raised with a topping or a glaze so I was disappointed that all the raised donuts we were given were cold like they were just taken out of the refrigerator :(. They were stodgy and not very satisfying. Due to the raised donuts being cold, I only enjoyed the lemon glazed old fashioned donut. Such a bummer because the Nutella and butter crumb tasted wonderfully. The texture just killed it for me! Anyway, I recommend trying Randy's at least once. I'll be chasing that high from my first time experience!!
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
Tonight around 9:40pm my good friend who lives in the unit in front stopped by this Randy's location and picked up 4 types of donuts and 3 out of the 4 donuts where dry, from then Lemon filled that's usually excellent.... Tonight Randy's has disappointed me in the nearly 14 Times I've ordered and received donuts from there.... Donut shops should post their baking batch times and be more accurate with their quality.... I'm 367lbs and stand 5' 8" tall, you heard that correctly, so my time is limited on this planet to enjoy the freshest donuts on earth
google avatar

Joyce A.

Yelp
Drive through doughnut run The raised donuts have a great bite texture. I ended with a dozen assorted. I personally always like a lemon glazed or filled donut. Quick service in the drive through. $29 for the dozen box!! Also got a coffee.

Antonio M.

Yelp
Randy'Donuts is a company, that overcharge for the donuts and this is the second time that, I paid for a dozen and they gave me 11 donuts. I mean how can they always give me less and not more, I called and they said I can go all the way to the shop to get a freaking donut is not rigth!!
google avatar

Heather A.

Yelp
Open all day & Night, & Although most donuts will always be unavailable (I'm guessing due to high demand) .. these are the best Donuts Evr !! My absolute fav spot !! I mostly always do drive thru, although you can order inside but it's very tight & small. Customer service is good, and although always busy they do their best to get you in & Out !! My Favs !! are the maple rounds, the Pink & the vanilla iced rounds & the glazed rounds !! So delicious and have lots & lots of frosting !! Butter Crunch Raised donut is also Yum !! & my Dad Loves the apple Fritters .. mom gets a sugar Raised !! very consistent at all locations I've evr visited !! Best Donut Shop Evr

Yelp
You can never go wrong with a late night warm donut. Randy's is a must stop when in the area.
google avatar

John V.

Yelp
Randy's is iconic for a reason--lets not forget! I feel like the new donut chain locations are heavily scrutinized as "overhyped" or "not as good as the original" but they're pretty hard to beat! Came in late on a Sunday and was impressed with the available selection and the freshness of what they still had from the day. The worker was also helpful with questions and suggestions--he even went back for two donuts to get me more freshly made ones! If you're looking for best all around selection with still very good taste/freshness, you can't go wrong with any of Randy's locations.
google avatar

Jeff F.

Yelp
Finally went here, but to find out it's all hype. Donuts are good; however, it's not the best I've had. Reminded me of a cross between a mom & pop donut shop and Dunkin Donuts. I prefer Pinkbox Donuts in Las Vegas and Donut Touch in Mira Mesa, San Diego. Donuts are huge and reasonably priced, while the texture is soft and chewy, 8/10. I prefer donuts to also have a slight crisp. My fave was the Crondy (croissant donut), 9/10 rating. Service was helpful and amiable. I'd go back for more crondys.

Yelp
My 14 year old son had a water polo tourney just down the street at the high school, so as has become our custom for these early-morning weekend trips to exotic places like Downey, we always sugar the kid up with donuts before he gets in the pool. When I was a kid, my dad occasionally had to drive down Lakewood for work, and he'd take me to the old Randy's for a donut and a chocolate milk. The recognizable giant donut is one of several around LA, but considering this one is also just a block close or two from an old school McDonald's, there's a nostalgia and a camp to the whole thing. Inside, the case is overflowing with fresh, delicious donuts, including some specialty ones. The kid ordered a dozen donut holes (they make them big here, and offer several types of frosting on them), along with a chocolate old fashioned. Dieting and donuts don't mix, so I passed, but the look on the kid's face as he chowed down was all the endorsement I needed to offer a five star review. Nice guy behind the counter took good care of us, even early on a Sunday morning. The attractive young ladies in front of us in line seemed to be taking lots of photos for Yelp, too, so if you read this, I'm a Libra/Scorpio cusp with Leo risings, and I like long walks in Downey and old musicals and... oh wait, nevermind, I'm happily married. But great donuts, eh girls? Until next time, Randy's.
google avatar

Angela J.

Yelp
When I feel naughty and need that late night sweet... Randys is the place. Grew up in Inglewood so knew of the Giant Donut for ages. Apple fritter was pure delight and so huge you need to share.
google avatar

Maryann A.

Yelp
Love, love my fave blueberry cake doughnut. I don't go here very often, but when I do, I have not been disappointed. They have a great assortment of fancies and make sandwiches to order. I do admit it's a little pricey for my budget but well worth the splurg. Pack your patience for the a.m. drive thru, it did take a minute since they make breakfast to order. The employee are a mix bag of enthusiastic and aloofness. But, come on, who's there for the "customer service" experience.

Anthony N.

Yelp
Went to Randy's and the employee kept on rushing us to order and did not give us enough time to look at the menu.
google avatar

Tim H.

Yelp
Donuts were not fresh had to return them, took 1 bite and said naw that's not right,to order donuts that early and there stale all ready it wasn't even 10 am yet if your gonna charge $27 dollars for a dozen they should at least be fresh
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
I visited this place on Friday evening at 6:00 PM, they were sold out on 90% of donuts. This was very disappointing. I've never encountered this. Come on only 6:00 PM and you have no donuts. Totally unsatisfactory. January 19 in Downey, California

Desiree L.

Yelp
Sooo yummy and the prices aren't bad at all! Love this place definitely give them a try
google avatar

Darah M.

Yelp
This morning I stopped by Randy's Donuts to get my breakfast sandwich fix. We know they're donuts are delicious. But have you tried their breakfast sandwich? If not, grab one along with your favorite donut. I ordered an English muffin breakfast sandwich complete with egg, cheese, hash brown and sausage. All for $4.95. To me, that's such as a great deal for the large portion you get. See photos. Instead of sausage, you can get bacon. If you want both, it's only .75cents. Also, you can choose your buns: English muffin, croissant and glazed donut This sandwich filled me up for the rest of the morning until afternoon. I sweeten my breakfast with their french toast donut complete with syrup.  A cup of coffee also joined the party. Coffee necessary at a donut shop.
google avatar

Marleen R.

Yelp
Coffee in the evening wasn't as fresh as I would have liked it to be from such a good donut shop! Lots of options, but not all were available. My favs did not taste super fresh, but I really like the lemon one and blueberry ones they were subtle in sweetness and tasted like a little cake. Old fashioned chocolate dipped' was also delicious! Service was fast since I went to the drive through window so I didn't get to see the place from the inside. Wasn't really busy so experience was do-able!

Monique P.

Yelp
Ran into my favorite server from my salad place and had a great experience with her here, always great seeing Alexis
google avatar

Tammy B.

Yelp
Hard to find a good donut with chocolate icing. The chocolate icing on the donuts was thick and rich. If you're in the area definitely give them a try. They carry a wide variety of choices.
google avatar

Brent F.

Yelp
The donuts are fine. But the pink frosting crumbled and fell on the floor. I've never had donut frosting crumble. My guess is it was an older donut.
google avatar

Matchacha C.

Yelp
Edit: I heat up the square Donut in air fryer split the top and bottom in half and put them on a piece of paper towel to soak up the oil and they taste good after you get air fried . my coworkers like it was a hit in the office it just not what I would crave for. I don't understand the hype, I was so excited when I see those donuts s in the break room on national donut day. I taste a couple of them the donuts are soft, very dense,it absorbed a lot of oil and it's very greasy. The square donut has the puff pastry texture I can only eat the top and the bottom and I couldn't eat the middle part because it soaked in oil. These Donuts are over hyped and I did not enjoy them
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
I place an order on Thursday nite to be pick up at 6 pm Friday I got there may 7:07pm I show the kid on the counter my order number and email and he looks confused. He told me I'll be right back. He came back saying the lost my order. I told him stop making excuses and fix the mistake and give me my order. Off course they don't have what I order because it was and special order. And he was trying to give me whatever he wants. What makes me mad is the manager never came outside to apologize and left the poor kid handle the problem. And the doughnuts are not even good.
google avatar

Ray M.

Yelp
First time visitor. Donuts were AWESOME!! Fresh and warm and very tasty. Highly recommend this donut shop with the giant donut on the roof of the building
google avatar

Joann C.

Yelp
Randy's donut is a classic and so delicious! This location is very convenient because it's a drive through! Prices are affordable and I love their donuts. I get the original glazed, chocolate, and maple donuts. I've also gotten the ham and cheese croissant for breakfast and I liked it too.

Peter P.

Yelp
Randy's donuts and cinnamon rolls are very good, but why did they stop making lemon filled donuts? I will have to curtail my coming for a donut splurge for awhile.

John M.

Yelp
This location never has any of the classic donuts. Waste of time. Go to Cherrys donuts where there donuts are always Fresh.
google avatar

Samantha W.

Yelp
We were all so excited to try this place. It ended up being...alright. Not the best we've had. Not the worst.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm calling out my own fatness but having no donuts on a Saturday night, 2 hours before closing??? Was told they just received a "shipment" of donuts but was not able to sell them because he was not sure what was in the boxes.

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Jasmine came in she was patient , kind of, caring and she helped me pick my donut as well as the other two I purchased, she is a great asset to your store and I would come back again because of her great customer service!
google avatar

Allan B.

Yelp
I got the UBE Donut (I called ahead to make sure that it wasn't sold out, before heading there) and donut holes for my kids. It's surprisingly good. I could barely taste the UBE,I could taste the coconut, for sure...but it's good. They should use UBE filling, like the malasadas in Hawaii. That sounds delicious. I would get it again.
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
The donuts are delicious and always fresh. The cashiers are friendly, fast and always change into a new pair of gloves before handling/grabbing the donuts. Parking is easy and the donut shop looks clean.
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
This locations sucks last time my glazed donut was over cooked this time they gave me a cold one out the fridge . It doesn't compare to the inglewood location at all.. the donut isn't fresh , it's breast, the glaze it's barely and it's just an entire mess. I won't be coming back.
google avatar

Wendy L.

Yelp
Randy's Donuts is famous for their iconic giant donut structure that's situated above their roof. When I was in the area and saw the donut, I had to stop by. I know their original location is in Inglewood, which I had never been to. It was the first time our party of 4 had visited Randy's Donuts. We ordered the #4 Mix (3 Classic/3 Deluxe/3 Fancy/3 Premium Donuts) and a dozen of their glazed donut holes. For the most part, we liked the donut holes but they didn't have the milkiness and fluffiness I personally enjoyed from South Swell Donuts in Newport Beach. One of the donuts I chose was the long maple glazed donut -- not good. It was dry and SUPER sweet! I didn't like the taste it left in my mouth. The other one I chose was the Blueberry and it was just alright. I liked the Blueberry from Peterson's in Escondido much better. Overall, they are not like Side Car Donuts in Costa Mesa or South Swell's (NP) but I'm glad to say I experienced Randy's Donuts.

Jesse M.

Yelp
Horrible iced coffee... basically it was milk and ice donuts seemed to be okay but the coffee was a huge disappointment especially for the price
