Hamburgers and Mexican food okay. Stay away from chicken fried steak. Needs a chainsaw to cut it then you have to try to chew it. Steak fingers used to be good. Now they are all gristle. I think they use the same chicken fried steak meat.

If you like seeing the staff get into fist fights in front of your children come eat here if you don't want your young children to hear cusimg or a fist fight then stay away

I ordered a bacon, EGG, cheese, and potato breakfast burrito. They forgot the egg.

The staff was really nice. They were all getting the buffet table cleaned and preparing to fill the pans. There were only three guests' tables already eating when I walked in. I did not dine in, I went in to order to go. It was right at noon, on a Saturday. It was not busy, so there was not a lot going on. I ordered 7 tacos, which took at least 30 minutes to get it, and in my opinion, the price was a bit high. I live in the DFW, where taquerias are overflowing with varieties and used to paying half the price for what I paid there. The taco meat was very dry and hardly no flavor. It was not fresh. Being it was just noon, the meat should have tasted freshly cooked and moist. It clearly was heated leftovers. The long wait was the indication. I will try them again when I visit next time and try something different. Everyone deserves a second chance.

It was late on a Monday night and they were getting ready to close. The server was sweet, on top of it, and got our food out. The food was yummy, taco meat flavored great and rice so fluffy.

Excellent breakfast. I got the migas mexicana and my husband ordered eggs with bacon, biscuits and gravy. Delicious. Homemade tortillas also!

I would not say they have anything that I crave or get excited about eating. The service is often slow and staff is not particularly friendly. They do have a daily buffet. They give an initial complimentary chips and salsa. After that, they charge if you want more. It isn't a bad place to eat, but isn't great. Prices are from $4-18 a plate. Serve breakfast all day.

First time visitor from Breckenridge and we opted for the buffet. It was delicious!

Yelp
Stopped there due to a hailstorm. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was hot and plentiful and inexpensive. They let us hang there past open hours until it was safe to drive again. Thank you!

Yelp
Passing through on our way from Austin to Lubbock and found Rangels in Winters, Texas on Yelp. Called ahead and ordered beef Gorditas and chicken quesadillas. Picked them up in the drive through and both were excellent. Portions are large, made to order, hot, and good. If you've had Gordita's these could be the best you will find. If not, you should try these. We will eat here again.

Yelp
Stop in and let this place feed you! It will surprise you and have you wanting more. My first visit and I was hooked amazing food and friendly service. So glad we found this hidden gem.

Yelp
Food was good but service was slow (maybe understaffed today?) Came through town on our way back to Lubbock. We really enjoyed our plates. Restaurant is small and does have that local, small town feeling.

Yelp
Driving back from Colorado, needed something good to eat, Yelp helps me find this crazy good place. I wasn't expecting a lot walking in but was I surprised. I got these, not sure what it was called but I was basically beef flautas covered in sauce. It was an excellent dish. If your in the area, stop here, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Their green salsa is hands down the best! My favorite is the Steak Al La Mexicana but with chicken instead of beef. Family owned and operated.

Yelp
Wow! No words to describe how awesome this place is. If you are within a hundred miles, it's worth the drive!

Yelp
Not too familiar with Winters Tx, but we were here rather early. Rangel's was one of the few restaurants open. Seems to be family owned, and the food is made fresh.

Yelp
Yummy Food! We came here for my husband's birthday. The only thing wrong with his relleno is that he wished he'd ordered two! The homemade flour tortillas are soft and warm, the tacos are delicious, and don't miss the cheesecake for dessert. Small town Texas at its Best!

Yelp
This is a little diamond in the rough! I had their lunch buffet and was great for a small town restaurant. I perfect little place for my lunch break as I head from CO to Austin. Fun little spot with friendly staff.

Yelp
Service was extremely slow & food was salty. I won't be back. They charge for second basket of salsa & chips for four people!

Yelp
This was truly a find in little Winters, Texas. Some Mexican ladies are running the restaurant and they have a great sense of food and freshness and taste! I was offered a fresh hot tortilla with butter instead of chips and am I glad I did so. Delicious! I ordered enchiladas and fresh avocado sauce, best I've ever had. Can I move to Winters?

DK N.

Yelp
We were meeting someone in Winters recently and wanted to find a restaurant to eat. We found Rangels. This is a very old restaurant so not esthetically a winner but the food turned out to be very good. The menu runs to Mexican food. The service was very good, friendly and SUPER fast. If we are by there again I would definitely eat there.
