Discovered via this great reading an article in the local Philippine Times newspaper in Las Vegas. I took my mother out along with friends to this nice and intimate restaurant for her birthday. Their delicious cuisine is a fusion of Filipino, Italian, & Spanish. Do not expect to find traditional Filipino dishes here. We tried a variety of soups, pastas, & entrees. All of the dishes, in my opinion, were supremely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back again to try dishes I did not try before. Exceptional food, service, and atmosphere.

This restaurant came highly recommended by my Filipino friends. It did not disappoint. We were lucky to meet Chef Rang and her husband, Benedict, during our visit. I cannot describe how amazing the food was. The presentation, taste, and service were perfect. I will surely return with family and friends to try the rest of the menu!

This restaurant had some of the best food I've had in Las Vegas. What a pleasant surprise 😮 The New York prime steak melted in my mouth. The sauce was delicious 😋 The service was excellent. No wonder they have won awards and have gotten such amazing reviews 👏 A true hidden jewel stashed away in a strip mall near Charleston and Jones.

We reserved on OpenTable, and we loved everything about our meal! The owners were so welcoming, kind, and attentive--some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The food was all delicious as well. We especially enjoyed the croquettes and the pesto-crusted salmon. We'll definitely be making Rang's a regular haunt for our Vegas visits!

Surprisingly small, friendly and intimate mom n pop restaurant that deserves a Michelin star but has at least received an award as a Rising Star! Food is upper class and service is unequalled. Prices are very reasonable for Las Vegas, almost too low for what you get! Shhhh

First time visiting this restaurant based on a co-workers recommendation = On a scale from 1 to 10 … We give it a 11 !!! Fusion of Filipino and Italian. Chef Rang interpretation is flavorful and unique. We tried the Beef Tongue (our favorite), Beef Cheeks, Scallops Squid ink Risotto, and Octopus. Service from Benedict (husband) was comforting and warm. We love supporting locally owned and operated restaurants. Already planning our next visit to savor other menu favorites !

Menu intrigued me and so I finally made it over to Rang's for lunch. Was greeted instantly and shown to a prepared two-top. Atmosphere: A high-low setting; melamine plates, diner silverware on paper napkins alongside a stark neutral color palette, twisted napkin-shaped light fixtures, plants on black shelves, and sketches depicting Latin scenes. Music was pop-song covers. Food- Mushroom Soup ($9): Fine. Thinner broth type, with the mushrooms shredded rather than sliced. Croutons were good. Lengua Salpicao ($19): Tender slightly chewy cubes, loads of garlic, a touch salty. Presented in a dish which shape (purposely?) resembled its contents in original form, as did the three crostini. Would have preferred more baguette slices to scoop up the sauce and meat, but menu listed $3 for five slices, so abstained. Opera Cake ($9): Very pretty with a good mirror chocolate ganache top. Delicate chocolate and coffee flavor. Can of Sprite was $3. Value: Varies; might seem a trifle high for some menu items, but good for the more unusual offerings. Service: Very friendly.

Located in a strip mall off Charleston near Jones Blvd. Benedict the owner was our Server and Rang is the Chef. 👩‍🍳 Additional Update: finally was able to bring my husband here to try… and as usual Benedict and Rang did not disappoint! What we ordered this time: 1.) Cesar salad $12.00 to share… great taste 2.) Scallops with Squid Ink Risotto $36.00 our friend said it was well balanced and the scallops were cooked perfect. 3.) 3-Cheese Garlic Salmon $27.00 one of my favorite dishes as the sauce is not too heavy and bodes nicely with the green beans and mashed potatoes…yum! 😋 4.) Chilean Sea Bass $42.00 my husband truly enjoyed the light sauce and lots of fresh lemon. He said he looks forward to coming back and trying other dishes! Side Note: Rang’s was recently awarded one of Las Vegas new “Rising Stars” restaurants…well deserved! Update: brought an out of town friend here last evening. We ordered the following: 1.) Chorizo croquettes again $11.00 Just as good as the first time I tried them. 2.) Bacalao Croquettes again $11.00 yummy like the first time. 3.) Mushroom Soup $9.00 my new favorite. If you like Cream of Mushroom Soup on a bit lighter side, This is for you. You can instantly tell it is made with fresh ingredients. 👍🏻 4.) Mushroom Ravioli $21.00 My friend had this before and ordered again. 5.) Chorizo Bolognese $21.00 a new pasta dish for me…just enough bolognese sauce so not to over whelm the pasta which was cooked just right not too Al Dante. 6.) 3-Cheese Salmon $27.00 served over mash potatoes and green beans. This dish was just Devine! Chefs Kiss. Salmon was so moist the cream sauce was light and fluffy. I will be ordering this dish next time! I highly recommend if you like salmon. 7.) Of course we ended our meals with dessert. $9.00 each. Can’t wait for my next visit! 👏🏼 The food and service were divine! So many great choices on the menu: 1.) Caesar Salad $12.00 the serving was a good size. The dressing was so well balanced and greens were crisp. 2.) Chorizo Potato Croquette $11.00 the outside was crisp and the inside was moist and tasty. 3.) Bacalao Potato Croquette $11.00 not heavy and the outside was crisp and the inside was moist and tasty. 4.) Mushroom Ravioli $21.00 the cream sauce was velvety and the raviolis were a burst of basil and mushrooms. 5.) Pesto Garlic Shrimp $23.00 the pesto was light and the shrimp combo was well suited. 6.) Aligue Garlic Shrimp $27.00 this reminded me of Asian garlic noodles but “leveled up” so yummy. 7.) Opera Cake $9.00 was light with nice smooth chocolate glaze . 8.) Lemon Meringue Tart $9.00 light lemony flavors. 9.) Tiramisu $9.00 Let your Tiramisu sit for a minute and allow it to get to room temperature and then enjoy! So lite and delicious. Every dish we had was delicious! We will definitely be back and Update this review!

Yelp
Rang's Cocina Moderne is a unique Mom & Pop hidden gem type of restaurant located not too far from the strip. They offer an interesting menu of Italian, Spanish, and a little Filipino type dishes. It's modern and beautiful inside. This restaurant recently received the Rising Star Award from the Nevada Restaurant Association. I needed to update my review because I've been here over ten times and the food and service is ALWAYS AMAZING. Your money won't be wasted here. That rarely happens in any restaurant anywhere. Usually even a very fine restaurant will have an off day now and then...Rang herself cooks most of the food served here and it's always perfection. Her husband Benedict does most of the serving and it is always warm, friendly, and helpful. Between us on all our visits we tried not all but the majority of the menu and you won't go wrong with anything. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Parking is easy and close. This is one of my most recommended restaurants.

Yelp
Please give them a visit and try out their delicious food! It is a mom&pop restaurant where Rang is the chef and her husband is the server. He is so friendly and attentive. Rang also comes out to check on you and make sure all is well & I love that. Their restaurant is clean, and pretty decor. The food was amazing. My favorite was the lengua (cow tongue). Their take on this dish is flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also recommend the meatballs and octopus. The pesto shrimp & aligue pasta was so good! I couldn't stop eating! I'll have to be back to take pictures. :)

Yelp
Rang's is a hidden gem with inventive menu items. The fusion of Filipino flavors, Spanish tapas, and Italian pasta made this one of the most unique meals I've had in a while. My party and I enjoyed the lengua salpicao (super soft and flavorful), aligue with garlic shrimp, and binagoongang pork belly with coconut risotto. The service was very attentive, and both owners greeted us throughout the meal which made it feel very personalized. The music was fun and the decor felt very inviting. All in all, we had a great experience and highly recommend.

Janice L.

Yelp
Yumm! My taste buds were doing a happy dance after trying this restaurant. They serve unique dishes with filipino/spanish style foods. My favorite dish was the lengua! Please be adventurous and go try it! The service was great as they kept checking on our table. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Yelp
We visited for lunch on Friday with a party of 3 adults and a baby and it was an excellent experience. We arrived and were seated right away, as we were the only customers. The owner introduced himself, gave us a run down of the place and took our orders. The house white wine was very good. We started with appetizers: Chorizo Potato Croquettes, Gambas Y Chorizo, Pulpo, and Albondigas. All were outstanding, with the Gambas and Pulpo standing out. From there we went with Pesto with Garlic Shrimp, Mushroom Ravioli, Bistek, and 3-Cheese Garlic Salmon. All were well prepared, plated, and tasty. We received a complimentary Tiramisu for my granddaughter's birthday, which was nice. The service was great, everything was taken care of promptly. The other owner (husband and wife) came out near the end to check on us. She is the chef, great job! Overall, excellent place for fine dining.

Jaeroll M.

Yelp
Ambiance was very cozy, modern and the service was friendly and helpful. Food presentation was amazing seeing the filipino fusion into the dishes, love how everything tasted well with each other. Would highly recommend going to this gem of a place!

Yelp
For appetizers, we had the Mushroom Soup, and the Smoke Salmon & Goat Cheese. I really enjoyed the Estrella Beer. The Truffle Mushroom & Asparagus Pasta was super yummy! The sauce is amazing and so creamy. The noodles totally absorbed that flavor! And if you're a fan of chorizo, I totally recommend the Chorizo Bolognese. It's got a mild heat to it, but it's like a marriage of chorizo & spaghetti. Even though looks can be deceiving outside, the interior is fancy and modern. Modern jazz music played in the background. The husband and wife duo work well together, the the chef personally came to our table to see how we liked our meal. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it for a gourmet fusion Italian meal. I totally recommend supporting this family business.

Yelp
It was a night of indulgence for us. After an informal wine tasting, we decided to check out Rang's, an Italian restaurant infused with Filipino influences created by the chef. We read rave reviews about it, and just had to check it out. Glad we went early Tuesday evening so we had an opportunity to engage both the host and the chef who were so friendly and accommodating. When we called to ask if we needed reservation, Benedict, the host, was so frriendly that we immediately liked him. When we entered the restaurant, he greeted me by name, and treated us like we were their valuable regular customers. What a greeting! For starters, we ordered the Caesar salad which was so fresh and tasty --- the dressing was light and subtle, much to my liking. I really hate it when a salad is drowning in dreassing. My partner loved the very creamy ginger/carrot bisque and declared it the best he's ever had. He ordered the sea bass and was delighted to have a very generous serving with coconut rice, sauteed asparagus and a drizzle of delicious coconut sauce. The sea bass is not on the printed menu, but it's proven to be such a favorite that it's always offered. As for me --- I ordered the "binagoongang" pork belly risotto. Pork Binagoongan is a boldly-flavored Filipino dish usually made of tender pork belly with a rich, savory shrimp paste sauce bursting with umami and salty flavors. Typically served with steamed rice, it was so creative to have it with risotto. It was an impressive creation that was quite tasty. We appreciated the tasteful and almost minimalist ambience, along with the lively bossa nova music that evening. Best of all, we liked that the host Benedict and his chef wife Rang came to our table to ask how was our dining experience. Everything was done to perfection. We will surely go back with friends with whom we' like to share this delightful experience.

Yelp
My husband and I came for an early Valentines dinner. Really enjoyed meeting the chef and her husband. Fantastic food great ambience we will definitely be coming back! Give it a try if you're in town or even if you're a local! We definitely recommend coming!

Yelp
I was really excited to come here and I really wanted to enjoy it. However, it was only okay and didn't leave us wanting more. For the prices we paid, we left disappointed. We ordered the following: Bacalao potato croquettes: this was ok. Couldn't really taste the salted cod.  The presentation was nice though.  Pulpo: the octopus was tender and the sauce was tasty.  Aligue: my mom enjoyed this. The shrimp was fresh and large.  Binagoongang pork belly risotto: We were very excited for this dish but were overwhelmed with salt. Shrimp paste is something I'm very familiar with so I was excited for it, but it was salty to the point that it became inedible for us.  Bistek medallions: it came as a steak and not medallions but we were told this beforehand and it was huge. The steak was cooked to the perfect medium well, however, the sauce was also pretty salty.  Truffled mushroom asparagus pasta: the best dish of the evening.  Truffle flavor was great.  The chef came out and asked about the food. I gave her our honest opinion. She took our comments well and professionally.  However we were told later by the server that shrimp paste is supposed to be strong and salty which we are already well aware of since I love shrimp paste. And that the steak is supposed to be salty and citrusy, but we just found the sauce salty.   As a chef myself, I welcome critique and take my customer's comments to paramount. As a customer, I did not appreciate that we were told the reason why all 4 of us didn't enjoy a certain dishes where because of our palettes. I wish them all the best and hope for their future to be successful.

Yelp
Food taste so good Service excellent Ambiance very good Will comeback here next time

Mindy A.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is small and cozy, and the service is ran by a single server who is pleasant. The chorizo croquettes were so flavorful (not spicy either). The truffled mushroom pasta with asparagus is also very flavorful. It's so creamy and delicious. The chef came out and she was thanked 100 times by our party.

RC C.

Yelp
Food is Filipino Fusion - excellent taste and nicely presented. The proprietor Benedict and Rang was very accommodating. Price Point is on spot for what they serve. Ambiance is decent and clean. I will definitely come back here.

Matthew Q.

Yelp
Great experience. Awesome ambiance, tasty food and great service. We had a number of entrees and tapas/appetizers. I love how it's a fancy tasty restaurant that offers larger dinner portions. Enjoy my photo of the Pesto Salmon! Cheers!

Dave W.

Yelp
The in laws had eaten here a couple of times and recommended it so we met them there for dinner. First, the service was very good, this is a husband and wife owned place, wife cooking, husband waiting the tables. It looked like a couple of others in the kitchen as well. Mushroom soup, excellent, not the best i've had, but right up there and certainly one of the best in town. Lengua Salpicao, the meat was tender, the sauce to die for, actually, put that sauce on a short rib and you will have people driving from all over town to try it. Albondigas, a good version of a classic dish, the meatballs are very lite, the sauce a little on the sweet side which I like for this dish. Slow Braised Beef Cheek, exactly what you would expect from beef cheek, it melts in your mouth, the sauce is fantastic. Scallops with squid ink risotto, the scallops were perfectly cooked, the risotto, perfectly cooked, but it needed something. The dish itself the white scallops on the black risotto looks beautiful, but it really didn't had anything to the dish, but I am struggling to think of something to replace it, so with that said, if you like black ink risotto, try here. Sea bass. The real star of the night, this is a dish worth driving across town at rush hour for, again, the sauce makes the dish, subtle tastes and pairs perfectly with the jasmine rice. Spaghetti Carbonara. This is an off menu special that may find it's way on to the menu. I am not a fan of carbonara, it does nothing for me, but my wife is a fanatic and she has no issues with letting a restaurant know when it is not a good version. This is a very good version. Realistically, we ordered way to much food for four people, but what was left came home. Overall, a great meal, this is not a cheap neighborhood bar so prices are a little higher than your typical neighborhood place, but, to be clear, they are also clearly not using Sysco or US foods here, the ingredients are very good, the people in the kitchen know how to cook and the service is excellent. Now Vegas, give it a try, you will not be sorry.

Yelp
Yelp Review 2023 #236: We made our first attempt coming to Rang's around when they opened around June/ July but with our luck, they were sadly closed. We came during business hours as posted on the door but there were no signs of life. The owner, Benedict reached out to me to apologize which honestly, he didn't really have to but it was a nice gesture nonetheless. Fast forward to 3 months later, we had another reason to come back here. And you know what? It was worth the wait and worth another attempt! This is the first review I've ever written wherein I want to start off by commending a restaurant for their service and hospitality first before commending their food. I came here with my family for a birthday celebration. And I felt like my family grew when we left. Chef Rang and Benedict definitely know how to make you feel like you're part of their family and you don't see that often in restaurants. It felt like I was just eating at my Tito's/ Tita's (uncle/ aunt) house. They were apologizing for being closed the first time we went (they had a family emergency and when you are running a family business, it happens! And it's understandable). They check on everyone to make sure everyone is well-fed and they got what they need. They recently got their liquor license and my Aunt made sure that license is out to good use (she likes alcohol with nice meals). Their menu is a one-pager and a good chef and restaurant owner would know a simple menu would be the best option especially for a small restaurant. Their menu packs a mean punch. They have soup, salads, pasta, risotto, fish/ seafood dishes, beef, pork - cooked in Spanish, Italian, and Filipino style. Dishes my Mom and my uncle would cook when they were still around but I was too young to appreciate. Mushroom Soup: This is not your average cup of mushroom soup. This is made from scratch and made with love. I normally get mushroom soup at any restaurant if it's on the menu because it's there but this mushroom soup is something you HAVE TO get because it's good! Using fresh ingredients makes a significant difference in flavor and texture. 5/5 Chorizo Croquettes: They have 2 versions of croquettes on the menu: chorizo and bacalao. The family voted on chorizo. Lightly crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, topped with aioli. The flavor of the chorizo is mild and can be overwhelming and this is just right. 5/5 Pulpo: Braised octopus served with potatoes Anna and Galician sauce. Tender and properly cooked. The octopus itself was a star on its own and the sauce and potatoes had supporting roles. 5/5 Pesto-Crusted Salmon: A big piece of salmon with a beautiful cashew pesto crust over mashed potatoes and some green beans. Perfectly cooked salmon that isn't dry in the middle. 4/5 Pasta with Aligue and Garlic Shrimp: Pasta cooked in olive oil with garlic shrimp and aligue (crab fat). Growing up in a Filipino household, I saw older people eat aligue and as a child, it wasn't my jam because it has a slightly bitter taste. This is honestly the first time I've ever had aligue and enjoyed it. 5/5 Binanogoongang Pork Belly with Coconut Risotto: Pork belly cooked in bagoong (fish or shrimp paste). The mildly sweet coconut risotto balances the saltiness and richness of the bagoong and pork belly. If there's anything missing in this dish it would be an element of crunch and it would be modern twist perfection. But it still tastes good. 5/5 Scallops with Squid Ink Risotto : There are restaurants especially Spanish or Italian on the Strip that serve squid ink pasta or risotto but at Rang's, you get the flavors in big portions without the Strip price tag. 5/5 Slow-Braised Beef Cheek: Tender beef cheek with mashed potato and sauce (made with root vegetables, wine & herbs) and gremolata. Beef so tender all you need is a fork to eat it with. Due to Yelp's character limit, I have to cut this short. For dessert, we tried lemon meringue tart and opera cake. We left extremely full and satisfied. I do wish they would have flan on the menu which is both Filipino and Spanish. Rang's Cocina Moderne is definitely my favorite new restaurant that opened in 2023. The space is small but well-lit, clean and cozy so be sure to reserve a table.

Thereza L.

Yelp
Excellent food... an excellent find. The food is cooked fresh and very tasteful. Ben the owner was our server and we met Rang the wife who came out of the kitchen to say hello. I will definitely bring other family and friends over.

Dorcas K.

Yelp
A little hidden gem and we are so happy to find out! Service by Benedict was great! Super friendly and personable. Chef Rachelle is awesome and very humble. Great husband and wife team! Service is exceptional. So food.... we had pastas and lengua. Didn't order more as we were still full from breakfast. For the price point, I think the portion is appropriate. Not too much and not too little. We finished everything. Lengua com0es in a small plate but very tasty. I wouldn't say they are neighborhood "pricing-affordable" as the entrees are above $35, around the same as casinos, but I always love supporting small business. Nice ambiance, clean and comfortable. Come try this place and taste for yourself! You will be pleasantly surprised.

Theresa C.

Yelp
Finally got to check this place out for my husband's birthday. It has the ambiance of an Italian restaurant but with fusion Italian/Spanish/Filipino flavors. For appetizers we tried the lengua salpicao and wow this was bursting with flavor. I wanted another order after we ate the first! The server told us that many VIP chefs in the area come to their restaurant just for this dish. The pulpo (braised octopus) was perfectly cooked and paired really well with the crispy potatoes. The small plates were definitely the star of the show. We also ordered the crab fat aligue pasta which was also was packed with flavor. We also ordered the off menu traditional carbonara...well because I love a good carbonara. This was authentic and perfect in my opinion. The pork belly and coconut risotto was just okay, my husband enjoyed it but it needed some texture to the dish. Overall, would definitely come back just for the beef tongue and pulpo!

Scott C.

Yelp
You are literally stupid if you do not eat at this place right now. This is cheffery at a high level with medium Level prices. This is a small business owned by wife and husband that serves amazing food. Eat here now before everyone finds it and the prices shoot up.

Daniel Dong-Kyu K.

Yelp
Rang's is an all new Spanish-Italian mom and pop restaurant with some Filipino love. Here is everything we tried, and it was all fantastic! -Caesar salad -Mushroom soup (A must!) -Lengua Salpicao (My favorite dish here! The beef lengua was incredibly tender and so flavorful! I would have been a happy camper even with just this and a bowl of rice!) -Pulpo -Binagoongang pork belly with coconut risotto (Loved this dish as well! The risotto had the perfect hint of coconut, and the pork belly was melt in your mouth tender!) -Aligue with garlic shrimp (Shrimps were huge and packed with flavor!) -Vongole The service was great along with the ambiance! It feels very modern yet homey at the same time! Benedict and Rang are the owners and such awesome, sweet people! I can't wait to be back and experience some new dishes!

Rolly T.

Yelp
Waited to try after two months it open to make sure all the kinks are fix. Place didn't disappointed!!! Love the fusion of Spanish, Italian, and Filipino. Met the owner and chef- Rang and Benedict. Chef is self taught chef. All the dish she made were delicious. Ok I would get the salmon but would get every dish we ordered. We loved the lengua the most. Give me more of that and more sauce with the bread. It's so good and soft. Also loved the mushroom soup- yes the soup. It was delicious. We all loved the pasta dishes especially the aligue pasta with garlic shrimp. Reminds me being in Pampanga in the Philippines. Best to go on a group of friends and order every dish to try. Will definitely come back to eat here. Support local business!!!

Leslie J.

Yelp
Lovely to find this Filipino-fusion gem. Delicious, elevated, yet reminiscent of home cooking. Warm and attentive service. I have been telling all family and friends of this place because it's truly something special! Favorite dishes include: Lengua salpicao, aligue pasta, and the 3-cheese salmon (however everything is outstanding) Can't wait to come back for more!

Bert C.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! The service was great and the staff was very friendly, making conversation with us while we waited for our meals. The decor is very cozy and quaint, and the music playing was fun yet classy! The prices are reasonable, since it's high-end and very much worth it. We went in June, and I didn't realise this review was sitting in my drafts for a while, so that's why I'm posting this now because they deserve a great review!

Manuel F.

Yelp
WOW !!! Food is very tasty and flavorful. Had dinner last night and was blown away. Definitely our new #1 Las Vegas local restaurant. Dishes listed and ranked: #1 Beef Tongue. #2 Beef Cheeks. #3 Scallops in Squid Ink Risotto. #4 Octopus. Already anticipating the next visit so we can try more menu dishes. Husband and wife team : Benedict (Front of house) was courteous and welcoming. Rang (Chef) has a modern twist to classical/cultural dishes.

Delmy B.

Yelp
The food is delicious, Rang and her husband are very welcoming, the place is fancy and clean. We love this place!

Jake S.

Mommy B.

Yelp
Truly the best discovery in Las Vegas during our visit. Every bite was an explosion of flavors in the mouth. You can tell that that each dish was meticulously conceptualized, and everything we ordered just hit the spot perfectly. Loved the intimate atmosphere too, nothing pretentious plus the very warm welcome and service. Thank you, Dickie! We will definitely be coming back. PSA: y'all MUST try the lengua salpicao.

Douglas B.

Yelp
Amazing excellent food! This is a special place. Family owned and operated! Rachelle is in the back making extraordinary fusion dishes Filipino and Italian cuisine. Dickie in the front of the house taking excellent care of the customers for such a great experience. The atmosphere is very casual and welcoming. I wouldn't be able to recommend one dish because everything is superb. So, everyone order something different so it can be shared. Absolutely delicious and totally affordable.

Andrew R.

Yelp
This place amazing! A MUST GO!! The dishes are fairly priced and a true work of art. They a won local award for culinary excellence.

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Hidden gem! Wonderful dinner with lots of delicious flavors and great service. Even the music playlist was very enjoyable. Chef Rang has an excellent touch and the food was spot on. We had a few different seafood items (Octopus, Scallops & Shrimp with Chorizo) and they were cooked perfectly. The same to be said for the beef items as well (Beef Cheek and Steak). The food really shines here and can't wait for friends to try it out. Add to this the service by Benedict in the front of the house and you have a great place to share a meal. We wish Rang and Benedict all the best!

Sidonie D.

Yelp
We had the best lunch today at Rang's Cocina Moderne. We were oohing and ahhing because everything was superb. We were impressed with: - the cozy, modern and inviting dining decor and restaurant environment which made us feel instantly at home -- and music that's not irritatingly loud but music you can really call music at just the right volume to allow us to hear each other talking. Very clean, too. - Benedict's friendly welcome, attentiveness, spot-on dish recommendations, and stellar service. - the unique, remarkably delectable, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned food which makes me wish I could more eloquently describe them -- but just know that we all savored and totally enjoyed these dishes: Mushroom soup (the best!), Pulpo (the octopus was so tender, the best!), Aligue Pasta with garlic shrimp (unique and so satisfying, the best!), Slow-cooked Beef Cheeks (divine, again -- the best!), and the Binagoongang Pork Belly with Coconut Risotto (amazing and you know it, also the best!). We obviously were impressed and when we came home, we still couldn't stop talking about Rang's. - the genuine warmth of Benedict and Chef Rang (who came to our table, took the time to chat with us, and were sincerely interested in what we thought about the food and were happy to hear that we appreciated the food). They really made sure that we had an outstanding personal dining experience -- and we did, thank you! We're glad we discovered Rang's and that they're open for lunch even though only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Ono food! Looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
We have visited Rang's twice and totally recommend you discover the exceptional food and hospitality here. This is a husband and wife combination that works well. Benedict runs the front of the house and his wife Rang is the chef. Expect to get to know both during your visit. Alcohol is currently limited to beers and wines at present. Menu is a single page, however, you will find plenty of variety. The beef tongue (lengua) appetizer is my sleeper choice. We will be back.

Yelp
Rang's is such a gem. She has such a great take on classic Filipino flavors. Every bite reminded me of home, but had enough of a twist to make it feel new. Yummy.

Yelp
Everything we tasted was delicious. The soups were to die for the Caesar salad was amazing and the 3 cheese garlic salmon was epic. The restaurant is beautiful and the lighting was amazing. The host was gracious and very nice. He used our names and gave us the history of the restaurant. This is a must visit while in Vegas. Amazing food, hosts and chef.

Yelp
This restaurant is a definite 10/10. Unique menu, EVERYTHING was amazing. Benedict Tan and wife, Rang so welcoming. This restaurant is a must for everyone to try. We had Braise Beef Cheeks, Lengua Salpicao and Aligue. All first for me. Will be back!!

Yelp
Great food concept. Ambiance is nice although music can be a bit loud if the dining room is not full. Nicely decorated. The truffled mushroom pasta is superb. Host is very nice. Location gives it the good eats, hole in the wall feel. A bit pricey. I recommend sharing the pasta plates. It reminded me of Nora's humble beginnings on west flamingo. I can see this place growing into a top Vegas restaurant.

Yelp
We went to Rang's tonight for another delightful meal. I had my usual Aligue with Garlic Shrimp, and my special friend had the Smoked Salmon and Goat Cheese. We washed it all down with a Matthew Fritz Chardonnay from Montery. OMG, the pairing was magical. It was a synergistic holiday for our taste buds. The next time you visit Rang's, opt for these delightful pairings.

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! Where do I start? First, Benedict and his wife Rang are so hospitable and they have an interesting story! Let's get to the food! *Admittedly, the description of "spanish, Italian, Asian" confused us prior to going, but with the reviews we had to give it a try. Glad we did. One of my new favorite restaurants in LV! We started with a salad that was light and flavor filled. Then we took Benedict's suggestions and ordered the off menu (soon to be on) Chilean Sea Bass. It was cooked to perfection, oh, and that sauce.....making my mouth water as I write this. We also ordered the Aligue pasta with crab fat and shrimp!! Oh man, it was a unique, lovely dish that we devoured! We will make sure we return before leaving this trip!!! Just go!!!

Yelp
Indulging in the culinary journey of Rang's Cocina Moderne feels like a vibrant embrace of Filipino-Spanish heritage. Every dish is a fusion masterpiece, seamlessly blending traditional flavors with contemporary twists. From the savory Lengua Salpicao tapas to the delectable Sea Bass with a Filipino flair, each bite is a symphony of tastes and textures. The ambiance is equally captivating, with warm hues and intricate decor. The attentive staff further elevate the experience, ensuring every visit is nothing short of exceptional. Rang's is more than a dining destination; it's a celebration of culture through the language of food. Absolutely a good place to celebrate Mother's Day...A happy tummy can make all the difference for all the mums in our family...Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!

Yelp
I was curious to try this Spanish-Italian-Filipino fusion restaurant, so I drove over 45 minutes from where I live in Henderson and I just say, the drive was worth it. As of now they are closed on Mondays, open for dinner the rest of the week and on Sundays they are open for lunch My friends and I ordered different entrees so we can all share / family-style. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. I was specifically impressed by the Mushroom soup, Lengua salpicao and the Aligue with garlic shrimp pasta - those are definitely a must try. There's an adequate amount of selection on the menu and for me, they are reasonably priced. My understanding is that they do not make their desserts but get them from a third party. Alcohol license is still pending. This husband and wife tandem is phenomenal. Benedict is out consistently making sure diners are doing well and then Chef Rang's dishes are absolutely amazing. I like that Chef came out to meet with diners. I always appreciate such gestures. I highly suggest to call and make reservations. The place is clean, well-lit, with background music which is not too loud. Lots of parking in this strip mall/plaza. Definitely coming back! Maybe I will try to go on the weekend so there'll be less traffic and less travel time.

Yelp
My Wife and myself tried Rangs last Sunday night. Leave me tell you the food was excellent and the service was top notch, we were pleasantly surprised. We started with the Lengua Salpicao and split a Caesar Salad, for our entrees my Wife had the NY steak and I had Vongole. The meal was very tasty and the restaurant's atmosphere was perfect.

Yelp
My niece was in Las Vegas from Kansas for a conference and I live 90 minutes away in AZ so I drove to LV to spend the day with her. At dinner time we googled restaurants close to us. I like seafood. She likes red meat. We found Rang's and saw the 5 star reviews, so why not? Beat decision of the day! We started with the prosciutto and goat cheese on toast medallions and immediately knew we were in for an exceptional meal. I ordered the salmon with cashew pesto and she had the prime rib medallions. The salmon was like butter in my mouth and she raved about her prime rib. The chef came out and introduced herself and took such pride in her food and her presentation. This husband and wife team have created something truly special and I wish them nothing but success. My only regret is I didn't take pictures of our food to share with you. I would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Service is so personal that they remember my wife's name from the last time she was here. It's a husband and wife team with the modern take of Filipino dishes that rivals New York or Chicago. Michelin quality without the exorbitant price. Ambiance so chic, cozy and very relaxing that I could spend hours here talking. Guys you have made me so proud of the ingenious way presenting Filipino dishes.

Yelp
The Las Vegas Strip is full of exquisite food paired with the most outrageous high-roller prices . At Rang's Cocina Moderne, the owners offer that same high class menu but at affordable prices. I've already recommended this place to 4 others that have visited. They too can't help but recommend Rang's. We've tried basically everything in their menu, and each dish is a bold fusion that excites the palate and exceeds expectations. Service is impeccable and the head waiter was welcoming and provided an amazing experience for our party. We look forward to be back in Las Vegas for another unforgettable experience at your restaurant.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time last night! There wasn't any dish we didn't like. We ordered Lengua Salpicao (to die for! This should be a main) chorizo croquettes, gambas y chorizo, dulong, mushroom soup, truffles pasta, aligue pasta and pork belly risotto. WOW! Amazing food that tastes like a home cooked meal but just better! Owners Benedict and Chef Rang have a gem and boy, does it shine!!!
