Had a Friday night date night here and really enjoyed it. All the food and drinks were really good and a fair price. We sat upstairs and the table was small. It was a little awkward sitting next to my wife on a long padded booth but it did work out fine in the end. The atmosphere was cool, music wasn’t too loud, and we had the bonus of a really great magician halfway through.

Great atmosphere and vibe in this downtown Columbia quaint spot. The drinks are great, my pear tree was fabulous but there's plenty to choose from. But don't miss out on the food, just as good and maybe better depending on what you order. The salmon salad was incredible ,and the wyugu burger was in the corner pocket. We finished it off with the triple triple brownie with blueberries and strawberries, not too heavy but refreshing.. I'll be back for more and another round. See u there!

The cheese and hummus plate is absolutely to die for. Their stuffed grape leaves made me feel like I was sitting in a bar in Greece. The cocktails are outstanding and very unique. I do not recommend the oysters though and hope that they can revamp this recipe or take it off the menu completely. Everything else is very aesthetically pleasing and tastey. This whole bar makes you think you’re in Manhattan and we love it.

Such a wonderful spot for a night out. Wonderful ambiance, excellent cocktails and surprisingly good food. The menu isn’t deep, but the items they offer are excellent. I submit it’s the best burger in the area, which is high praise. By far the best drinks. Staff is super friendly. Ransom hits all the right notes, hope it sticks around.

Stopped by for a quick cocktail with a friend. We had a great time! The atmosphere is very chic and classy. We got the pumpkin burrata to share and it was extremely tasty, fresh, and the presentation was very nice. Our cocktails were lovely and we enjoyed chatting with the bartender while we were there. The staff is great and super attentive. Will definitely come back for a date night with my fiancé!

This has got to be one of the coolest places jn Columbia! We were invited to be part of a soft opening and experience the cuisine and atmosphere of this new downtown “place to be”. The tapas menu had a great variety and all that we tried were delicious. The drink menu is inventive in both name and taste. They open next Saturday and everyone should plan on a visit as soon as you can.

Ransom Spirit and Provision in Columbia, TN is a hidden gem! The drinks are uniquely crafted, the food is superb, and the customer service is truly awesome. I was pleasantly surprised -they serve more than just good drinks; their burgers are anything but lame. A must-visit spot! This place is Rhett Lashley approved!

Great food and drinks. We had a party of 6 and everyone agreed we’re coming back. The old fashioned with a hint of pecan was solid and we had the bread with guryere cheese and Boursin and lettuce wraps…both were a hit. The burger and pizza were really good, actually best burger we’ve had in a while. Their table lights are cool too. Cool enough where I ordered one while there.

Ransom has definitely stepped up their game over the past several months. Some really great food options that weren't there when I last reviewed this quaint, hip place in Columbia. Great cocktails and wonderful meals for everyone in our large party. Service was patient and spectacular.

If I could give them a zero, I would. We were in town to visit with family and could make it out to the bar around 10:00. Even though the sign on the door states they close at 11, the bartender told us last call was at 10:30 when we walked into the door and the waitress told me the kitchen closed at 10:30. No big deal. The deal breaker for me was when the bartender was rude to a few members of our party, one being my husband. When asked to make a Rusty Nail, the bartender told my husband that a Rusty Nail is a glorified Old Fashioned, which is not true, and he should be a man and just order a scotch. When mixing another drink, the bartender started making fun of members of our party. He also used his bare hands to place the ice cubes in the highball glasses, which is completely unsanitary. And when I got my extra dirty vodka martini, it had a long hair in it! When it was returned to be remade, it was basically vodka and olives. I asked to have more olive brine added, and it wasn't much better. The bar has a neat atmosphere but the staff make it unpleasant. Our local family members who recommended the place were completely embarrassed and I felt bad for them. It's not their fault that the staff do not know how to treat people. Hopefully management will make it right.

Loved this place! The drinks were incredible! Servers were very nice, and the ambiance was great. The pizza and burger were amazing! Didn't love the mac n cheese but still a super delicious, lovely place! Other things on the menu sounded great as well. Would recommend (:

Food is expensive for the portion size - but it's delicious. Our party tried the burger - which was 2 thumbs up - the Yuzu salad - which was good - but spicy - and the Chicken Lettuce Wraps - also 2 thumbs up. Service was fine - but seemed rushed - restaurant was not busy. Atmosphere is nice - the building is beautiful and they have a back patio. My biggest complaint is their tipping in their table side tablet - calculated tip on the total bill including tax - which is incorrect. It should calculate tip on the total bill before tax. Beware.

The food and drinks were excellent. We ordered the salmon + salad, baked gruyere, steak frites, and the waygu burger. For drinks we ordered the dancing queen and the beach burro. The service was spectacular. The ambience was nice except the music style didn't fit the mood the restaurant was trying to create and the music was too loud. The bigger negative is that our food didn't come out at the same time. Three out of the six of us got our meals 2-3 mins after the first three did. In the areas that matter most though this place killed it.
