Ranvas Nagaur

Abhishek was a most gracious host and the staff here were incredible. Professional and welcoming. We felt so welcome and completely spoiled. The lamp lit sundowner (do not miss this one if you have the chance! it’s magic!) was a memory we will treasure forever. The pool is amazing, food and drink was great. We got a private tour of the public fort section after closing so we got to explore on our own. The hotel is slightly off the regular tourist route but that makes it that much more special. Do not miss the chance to stay here it was one of the most memorable stays of our whole three and a half week trip to Rajasthan. Thank you all again so much for making us feel so welcome.

This was the most fabulous and unexpected surprise. Ranvas is a wonderful hotel with delightful staff, very good food and a very welcome swimming pool. The tour around the palace was unbelievable. It really is a hidden gem it is being beautifull restored The walk around the walls is lovely and you can see the polo pitch and the animals and all. Ranvas means abode of queens and I really felt like one! Our room was enormous with an outdoor sitting area. Sheer heaven!

Ranvas is a discreetly elegant resort residing in the walls of a spectacular 16th / 17th Century Fort. It is a very unique experience where you truly feel transported to another time.|Service is excellent, staff are reserved and polite, the GM Abishek is very professional and accommodating.|The place is serene and relaxing. Just outside the ramparts of the Fort is a delightfully chaotic small town, colorful and busy. The calls to prayer by the muezein at the nearby mosques add to the overall feeling of being somewhere unique.|Food is amazing with local Rajasthani dishes offered. Breakfast is also very good with choice of English or Indian dishes.|The outdoor dining area overlooks the property and makes an elegant focal point. |The suites are on the upper floors of the Havelis and are done in traditional style with beautiful carved stone pillars and marble bathrooms.|There is also a gift shop with interesting items and an onsite pool.|Overall this place is truly special and unique!!

This hotel is unique and I would strongly recommend. It is off the beaten track but well worth adding to any itinerary. Fabulous heritage rooms, the most amazing staff and exceptional food. The history and the setting are breathtaking and there is so much freedom to explore inside and outside the ramparts. We have been to India several times and this wonderful place ticked all the boxes for our family and truly deserves to become more popular. Kudos to all those involved in preserving and restoring this wonderful palace and thank you to the entire hotel team for a magical two days we will not forget.

An amazing place for lunch inside an astonishing restored but hardly-visited fort, hidden atop an alleyway in a busy regional town. We were very pleased with our detour and wished we had a night's stay on a tour of Rajasthan

Loved staying here! This is a unique place with incredible charm and is very peaceful. The hotel is in the middle of a fort in the middle of Nagaur. The rooms are beautifully decorated with designer block print fabric and very well maintained. Several rooms open up to one private courtyard, which opens up to the main hotel courtyard (with the restaurant and pool). The staff are incredibly attentive.

One of the most beautiful hotels in the world! The setting in the ancient palace of queens is just magic. Staff was very friendly and the food excellent. Would love to come back!
