Probably the best restaurant for me around Thonon Les Bains area. The food is good and reasonable price. Good wine 🍷 The octopus was cooked to perfection. The quenelle was good and fish too. Waiter was very friendly

Avoid, except if you masochistically enjoy French arrogance at its best. At 12h30, I wanted to sit down for lunch at one of the many free tables outside. But a much-less-than-friendly server called me back, claiming they are 'complet' (inside, all but one table were empty too). I left, crossing a family of four who seemed to hesitate whether to enter or not. They did, and were nicely welcomed and seated inside. The chef claimed afterwards they had a reservation, which is possible, but he really made my day by saying he doesn't serve his 'cuisine gastronomique' outside as he doesn't want it to get cold 🤣. Well, I proceeded to eat a delicious (cold) Greek salad in the tavern down at the harbor, with charming and caring youngsters serving me. They almost seemed too nice, but it's a matter of expectations 🤫

Tapas is a great idea for summer before a return to bistronomic/gourmand in autumn and winter. Top quality products in an informal relaxed atmosphere and an epicerie on site to take away your favourites. Great value for the quality on offer. Good to see the Chef back on his feet after a difficult few years. Always a favourite place to eat.

All fantastic but service team well below average.

We went for the "menu du marche", served during lunch hours. We sat outside in the patio, with a nice view of the lake. The service was excellent, and we could even hear the chef scolding his sous-chefs/helpers on how to prepare things, which added color to the meal. The food was excellent, a 5-service lunch experience, with an association of tastes and textures that is again mouth-watering after writing this. Even the bread was homemade. We were worried that these would be the typical 1-star, French portions, with large plates and minimal food. The portions were just right, and we left the place satisfied, and ready for a short walk by the water before heading home. We will definitely go again. In one word: Bravo, Chef!

We went by chance on our way from Geneva to Morzine, and were lucky to find a table for 3. The whole experience was superb: ingrediemts and cuisine can not be beaten miles around. Service very friendly, though a bit slow toward the end of the meal. Combination of courses genially composed (we took different combinations, each the envy of the others). The only surprise was the bread, home made we understand, which tasted a bit dull and favorless (any boulangerie nearby surely does better). Overall, an excellent moment, and a well deserved star.

This is a newly one Michelin star restaurant (2018) and they totally deserve it. We dropped in by accident and we were completely fascinated. The chef the service translated the whole menu in English to us and the food we got later was just fascinating. I can really recommend this restaurant!

Simply one of the best restaurants I know, the food and approach to customer service is on par with establishments like The Waterside in Bray, England. I have been to Raphael Vionnet on a number of occasions and the team produce consistently top quality dishes with flare and innovative touches. This place is a gem and destination in it's own right. Enjoy!
