Where to Eat Along Virginia’s Scenic Skyline Drive | Eater DC

"Just minutes from the Thornton Gap Entrance Station, this is the perfect stop for a slice or two before or after a long drive, offering a mix of classics like margherita and creative specials like cacio e pepe, all as bubbly, wood-fired, crispy-chewy Neapolitan-style pies; if you have time to linger, do it over a cocktail at adjacent Bar Francis." - Stephanie Ganz

Nice place, great ambience. Very nice front of house staff. So why the bad review? Two reasons, one, it took much longer than we were promised and two, the pizza was raw. We were a group of 8 that visited on Oct 10. We ordered 3 pizzas, and then a few minutes later ordered two more. We were told, it would take 30-40 mins(it took well over an hour). We were famished after a full day of hiking so when the first batch of three came, we dug in. They looked good from the top (as you can see from the picture) but tasted doughy. I decided to look under and saw that it wasn't cooked. This happens when you don't let the stone in the oven recover between making pizzas, the stone gets cold when you put a pizza in, it needs to reheat before you can put a new batch in. We went and told the front of house that the stone was cold. They offered to remake our pizzas but we had already eaten most of them (we were famished) so we declined. The next batch of two pizzas came a few minutes later, they too, were raw at the bottom. The restaurant did refund us our money but while the front of house acknowledged that the pizza was raw, the person making the pizza said "its not uncooked" - which was annoying to say the least. Anyway, this restaurant needs to get its operations in order. The place is popular, but either slow down the orders or put in another oven. Serving uncooked pizza is not OK.

Super cute and cozy little restaurant!! Located just a ~30-minute drive away from the main entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen is a great pitstop right before (or after) a good hike. The wooden rafters and log-cabin-esque walls give the entire place a rustic, cozy vibe, and they share the space with a little convenience store that's perfect for any last-minute necessities or picnic supplies. The wood-fired pizza is lovely, with a not-too-thick-not-too-thin and slightly charred crust, a generous helping of sauce, and a solid layer of cheese / whatever toppings you request. They do have a few sauceless pizzas, so read the menu carefully before you order! The staff is super friendly and will probably warn you, but still worth taking a look. I typically order their classic margherita, which is delightful -- the pop of freshness from the basil really elevates the overall pizza. You can occasionally get unlucky and get an overcooked pizza, which happened during my second visit here; the crust was a bit too dry and overly charred, but the pizza was still tasty. My pizza during my last visit was totally fine, as were all the pizzas I saw around us during this lunch-time stop, so I assume it was a one-off fluke. Their starters are also all quite tasty! I've tried their burrata and brussels sprouts, both of which are delightful. The burrata comes with a huge serving of hot, melty burrata and delicious tomato mixture. It's paired with their bread, which is soft and pillowy on the inside, with a lovely charred exterior that holds up well to the cheese. It does feel a little bit silly to get bread and cheese right before eating more pizza (aka bread and cheese), but it's very good and absolutely worth a try. The sprouts are also tasty -- I love a good warm salad, and it has a great sweet and savory flavour profile from the balsamic glaze and grated parmesan. The toasted almonds are also a wonderful added crunch! I did find some of the brussels sprouts a little bit too big, which meant a few were a tiny bit undercooked in the center and hard to eat (although I also have a small mouth, so it could be a me problem), but the overall dish was still great!

Stopped here after hiking in Shenandoah. Customer service was great. The pizza...not so much. We ordered three, 12 inch pizzas that were roughly 22 dollars each. We had several issues with the pizzas: 1. Toppings were sparse for the price. Crust was pretty thick at the perimeter for a 12 inch diameter pizza. 2. The tomato sauce was too "watery." This caused the first bite on a new slice to pull off all the cheese and toppings, so we were left with a topping-less slice with light tomato sauce after the first bite. 3. Seasoning and flavor. We all agreed that the pizza just didn't have flavor. We agreed that a Domino's or Red Barron has more flavor than what was presented. I don't say any of this to be rude, but I'm like every fat American. I've had my fair share of pizza. This did not hit. There are better options for MUCH cheaper with more to offer per slice in Warrenton. Save your money, buckle in, and don't bother to stop here until the slices are re-evaluated and confirmed to have been improved.

After a long hike on Old Rag, we stumbled into Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen expecting just a quick bite — instead, we found one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Coming from NYC and having tried countless Italian restaurants (many charging $50+ per person), I didn’t expect a small-town pizzeria to completely blow me away. The margherita pizza with mushrooms was phenomenal — not your textbook Neapolitan with airy crust, but something more rustic and satisfying. The crust had the perfect char and chew, the cheese melted beautifully, the mushrooms were silky, and the fresh basil was deeply fragrant. It’s the kind of pizza you can’t stop eating. The meatballs were clearly house-made: tender, flavorful, paired with a tomato sauce so sweet and tomato-y. The arrabbiata pasta was hand-cut, with just the right heat and a creamy kick — simple but so well executed. But the real surprise was the Beale’s Gold Lager. I don’t even like beer usually, but this was extraordinary — light, fruity, clean, slightly sweet with zero bitterness, and a refreshingly smooth aftertaste. It didn’t have the heaviness or gluten-forward finish that turns me off most beers. It was so good, I finished the whole glass and wished I had another. And then there’s the service. In NYC, service can be polished but impersonal. Here, it’s the real deal — warm, genuine smiles, no pretense, just people who are happy to see you and proud of what they serve. The open kitchen, high ceilings, and reclaimed wood give the space a cozy yet airy charm that matches the vibe perfectly. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. A margherita pizza in NYC runs $18–22; here, it’s $10–13 — and better. We devoured every last bite. No leftovers, no regrets.

Google
Service was great! Waitress was very friendly and repeatedly filled drinks. Interior was cute, the place looked like an old mill but the atmosphere was nice. The food was so-so. They didn't have a gluten friendly option for their pizzas, which seems odd given this day and age. While they supposedly have gluten free pasta, they were not serving pasta at all leaving very few gf options on the menu, so I had soup and chips. The soup had no flavor at all, not even salt, and rice was undercooked and hard. The chips were stale. The dip itself was good, but after a long day hiking Old Rag, the food was disappointing. It's not a great place to go to if you have gluten allergies/celiac due to their limited options.

Google
Love going here after hiking Old Rag or White Oak Canyon. There may be a wait, but you can relax and enjoy the scenery while you do, and the pizza is totally worth it. I personally love the beehive. Honey with jalapeños? Yes please!! Edit: Temporarily revising to two stars because my most recent experience was awful. Waited almost an hour for an order which would have been fine, except when I went downstairs to check I was told they were boxing it up right then. Awesome! Then I watched them hand the pizzas they had just boxed up, and which matched our order, to another customer after pulling out the tag that had been on that order. When I next checked where our order was at I was told it was no longer in their system. I get they were busy, but I can’t recommend coming here at this time. I hope to be back next year and be able to revert to the fully positive review.

Google
Pretty good pizza, really loved the dough and sauce. Middle of the pizzas were a little soggy, and hubs didn’t like the overdone/burnt crust on his. Overall solid, however, I’d absolutely give it another go. They had some unique flavor combos I wanna try!

Google
I was in the area and looking for a delicious restaurant. Two friends and I chose to eat here and I am so glad that we did. We started with the eggplant napoleon as an appetizer, when I tell you the eggplant is absolutely amazing I mean it. The three of us split the eggplant appetizer and we were all just amazed at how delicious it was. We all ordered three different pasta dishes, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, pesto Alfredo with chicken, and pasta with a spicy sauce and the best vegetables I have ever tasted. This place is absolutely amazing. Will be returning frequently, also the service was spectacular.

Yelp
So we ordered ragu soup and a large pizza, thinking we would have extra pizza to bring home. Well, that didn't happen. The pizza was so good we ate everything. It was absolutely fantastic and the service was top notch. She was very attentive and we were very happy.

Yelp
Adorable little pizza shop connected to a market, just a few tables but the vibes are vibin'. We came here after hiking Old Rag and were ready to eat. Based off of other Yelp! reviews, I got the Hog in the Hive. My friend got one of the pasta dishes. I took off one star because the server forgot to take our order for awhile and, as other reviews mentioned, the kitchen can be slow. The food, however, was worth the wait - absolutely delicious! Wish we were from the area as I'd love to come back and try the other pizza options on the menu - the Omni sounded fantastic as well.

Yelp
I don't know why we waited so long to try this place. The food was incredible and it's fun watching them make the pizza. It's said you eat with your eyes first and the pizzas did look perfect. One supreme and one pepperoni both excellent! The young man who was our server did a great job better than some fine dining restaurants so kudos to him. I love service with a smile. It's definitely worth the drive from Culpeper.

Yelp
Love this spot, always stop by here when we leave Shenandoah. Great pizza and cute little shop attached. We got the supreme pizza this time and it's a 5/5! Definitely wish they had some ranch, but other than that everything was perfect. Definitely stop by here if you're passing through or visiting!

Yelp
Love this place! We stumbled upon it after a hike and had the perfect dinner. We waited maybe 20min for a table; it wasn't bad at all and we got to explore the cute little shop next door while we waited. We had the nicest waitresses. They provided such excellent service and our food was amazing. I was worried about not having marinara sauce on the cacio e pepe pizza but I didn't miss it all. Flavors were perfect. We both enjoyed our pizzas and the rustic apple salad. The light fixtures provide a very cool aesthetic. Only bummer was they ran out of the mushroom soup so I didn't get to try it and I am sure it is delicious.

Yelp
RPK is fairly close to Mary's Rock (driving) and provides outdoor seating, which is a great option for those hikers with dogs. We opted to get the Veggie Pizza, which was just okay to me and the Chicken Parm, which was a great selection. Our pizza selections took a little longer than we anticipated for them to come out, however, it wasn't an excessively long wait. Overall, RPK was good reward after a beautiful hike at Mary's Rock.

Yelp
I really wasn't sure what to expect when I drove into Sperryville. It looked like a town of 50 people so I wasn't expecting to have much in the choice of good food, but I was very pleasantly surprised! No, there aren't a LOT of choices, but the ones they have are all worth it. Top of the list was Rappahannock Pizza. It was PACKED, and lots of orders being placed to-go (not surprised, given the lack of food options in town) but they were still fast. There's an outdoor upstairs area that a lot of people sat, and the food is great! The Cheese Bread was absolutely the best that I've ever had, and the Hog in the Hive was excellent- lots of kick from the peppers, but cooled off nicely with the honey. If you're in Sperryville, I'm guessing you have no choice but to try this place, but fear not because it could be dropped in any big city and still be extremely popular!

Yelp
Great pizzas, also salads and pasta. Can take home or eat in. Always full of people. Enormous parking lot.

Yelp
What a cute place! The wood rafters with the lights were a talking point for us because we love that look! The staff were friendly and helpful! There is a country store attached that is really cute to look around in. We stopped in and found the pictured ice cream sandwiches, and boy were they good! The bread and oil was a fantastic way to start off the meal, as that is one of our favorite things! We added some crushed red pepper to the oil to give it a little extra kick, but it didn't need it. The pizzas were great! They only come in 8" or 12" sizes so you'll probably need to order two! The crust is not too thick and has the wonderful brick oven taste. The chicken Alfredo pizza (12") is the specialty pizza for the month of May. Now read carefully because it does have pesto on it, and personally I found the pesto to be quite overpowering, but still yummy nonetheless! The margarita pizza (12") was absolutely amazing. The ingredients all tasted so fresh! The sauce was a beautiful balance of sweet and tangy, and the fresh basil just really took the flavor a step further! We also got a cheese pizza (8") for our 7 year old who raved that it was the best one she has ever had. Now the price is a little high for 12" of pizza, but so worth it. Give it a try and get the ice cream sandwiches from the country store, you won't regret it!

Yelp
This spot was recommended by one of our friends in Flint Hill and it hit the mark! The pizza was incredible, the ingredients tasted extremely fresh. Crust was crispy, the Caesar salad was perfect. Our server was all smiles and very quick! The little market next door was fun to browse as we waited for the restaurant to open. We would happily come back here.

Yelp
Finally made it out to check out the pizza and it was as good as I was hoping. We drove out on a rainy Saturday for lunch. Though it was busy, we were able to get a seat right away. Service was quick and the waitress was really great. I kept it pretty basic with the cheese pizza, but added the sausage. My wife got the Hog in the Hive, but skipped the hot peppers. What's nice is we were able to get the special pizza as the 8" even though it wasn't listed for that size. I also decided later to get the Potter's Grapefruit Hibiscus cider. The pizzas came out quickly. The crust is nice and thin, though you need to give a little fold for structural integrity purposes. I'd have liked if the outer edge of crust puffed up a bit more, but if it's homemade dough, you sometimes can get inconsistent rise or even if the temp is a little off in the oven (being really particular here .) Didn't take away from the great flavor of everything. We already want to head back to try out their other pizza.

Yelp
Great little pizza shop. Honestly the best cheesy bread I have ever had. It is delicious with the perfect amount of seasoning. The Hog in the hive pizza was good it had some sweet honey and spicy peppers.

Yelp
RPK is a convenient stop after a long hike in Shenandoah. However, it gets quite busy and indoor seating has a long wait. Fortunately, they have quite a few outdoor seating options, but even on a colder day- they have the fans on and no heated lamps. My husband and I were starving after completing a long hike and ordered the chicken parm pizza, not a margherita pizza, herb and fontina risotto cakes. The herb and fontina risotta cakes were probably my favorite since they came with a nice arugula and pine nut salad. The cakes themselves were just okay, but were definitely better than the pizzas. Both pizzas were very dough heavy and light on the actual toppings. We felt like we ate more dough than anything else. It also tasted like they just sprinkled herbs on top instead of baking the pie with it. Even though I am not big on dough-heavy pizza, their dough was quite good. I should have opted for just the cheese bread. Would I come back? Probably not. Even the basque cheesecake we had was underwhelming.
google avatar

Singi D.

Yelp
Restaurant has a good amount of parking. The host at the restaurant was busy and seemed annoyed we wanted to check out the seating area before asking for a table, but luckily the bartenders were nice & friendly, 2 seats were available at the end of the bar Francis. We ordered the hog in the hive, it was pretty good.

Yelp
My husband and I took our adult daughter and her 2 friends to RPK on Saturday night. They were pretty busy but we got in after a short wait. And it was worth it. The staff is friendly. (Our daughter was there last weekend and the waitress recognized her and welcomed her back.) I had a Pinot Grigio, my husband and one of the girls had the habanero Margarita, my daughter and her friend had one of the sours. We all enjoyed our drinks. The girls had Cesar salads which looked wonderful. We all had pizzas: 2 girls had the Hog in the Hive-for one it was perfect-likes hot stuff, for the other the peppers got her-little too spicy, my husband got the supreme add jalapeños, our daughter got pepperoni, and I got the pepperoni add mushrooms. They were delicious. The special dessert, the Strawberry Neapolitan, was wonderful with the cream-just the right amount of sweetness which us girls shared. The building is rustic and can be loud, but its fun and a little funky. Looking forward to returning. forgot to take pictures-next time.

Yelp
The BEST. Nothing better than finishing a long hike in the Shenandoahs and knowing that a Rappahannock Pizza is your reward. We've had most of the specialty pizzas. Favorites are the Hog in the Hive, the Carnivore, and the Greens pizzas. They are incredible with the freshest toppings and thin and smoky crusts. Today we had the burrata salad, with roasted tomatoes, plenty of olive oil, the perfect amount of salt, broiled burrata, and the best homemade focaccia to scoop it all up. Also had the house salad and split the white pizza (no tomato sauce) with pork, asparagus, onion and cheese. Many of the ingredients are local and seasonal. Incredible beers by the glass. I just wish I lived closer, that's how much I love this place. Easy parking, friendly service and a cute gourmet/general store attached.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen is connected to an adorable, cozy grocery store that exudes a farmers market vibe. While we waited for an indoor table, we explored the grocery store. Once back inside the restaurant, we opted for a shared salad and pizza. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident. Though the salad was tasty, it would have been easier to eat if they had chopped the lettuce; it was a bit challenging and messy otherwise. The homemade dressing was undoubtedly a highlight. While the pizza was fresh, next time we'll opt for one with more meat and extra cheese!

Yelp
This place fills a niche marvelously, being placed in a rustic valley not far off of skyline drive, the sort of area one might want to stop at during a day of hiking and exploration. The atmosphere inside includes a large vaulted ceiling, and the menu promises pizza with farm to table ingredients. They had a decent pick of vegetables, but I ended up being basic and just going with their veggie special. The crust was on the thin side, but did bubble nicely and had a bit of sourdough flavor. The vegetables were diverse and numerous. I couldn't decide whether I liked the pizza better with hot pepper and Parmesan or without. I also ordered a butter lettuce salad, which was impressively presented but heavier than I thought it would be with the cheese, walnuts, and dressing. I was a bit miffed that my salad and pizza came out at the same time, but not miffed enough to lower the star rating. It wouldn't be the best pizza in an urban area, but it was a worthy stop along a day of mountainous adventure.
google avatar

Dinh N.

Yelp
Good pizza at a good price. The pizza was really hot when we got it so it kind of fell apart when we were eating it. Tasted great but the dough/crust could be better. If I'm in the area, u would go again.

Yelp
After a day of hiking The Shenandoah, this is an excellent stop. Just know that others have already discovered this gem but it's worth the 10 min wait. Gourmet hand-tossed, fire-roasted pizza and the salads are amazing so you feel like you finished your active day with healthy food. Young, vibrant staff is polite, professional and invisibly visible to refill that much-needed hydration.

Wendy F.

Yelp
Grabbed lunch here while visiting the area. Ceasar salad was generous and the shrimp skewer a nice add. We tried the hog in the hive which was tasty but be warned the peppers on it have a kick. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Keoky D.

Yelp
Went there with my 4yo son after an epic hike in Shenandoah. We had the fettuccine Alfredo and the puttanesca. Pasta tasted fresh and sauces were on point. Would go back and would recommend to friends and family. I would only suggest that the check in process be improved since there was really organization when it came to people waiting for take out and waiting to be seated.

Yelp
Rappahannock pizza is an incredible gem in the heart of skyline drive! We are local to the fauquier area and will be making this our go to pizza stop. We loved both our pizzas and the Cesar salad. Loved the ambiance in the restaurant and the convenient connection to the old country store.
google avatar

Jordan N.

Yelp
RPK's pizzas were really delectable, even though the wait was very long. We ordered from the small bar inside the corner store though, if that had an impact. We didn't see any other seating besides the limited bar seating, and a few tables by the window, and far out of sight of the pizza kitchen (opposite end of the corner store). So I'm not sure if this is an ideal place for families or a casual night out.

Yelp
Very good pizza, especially after a hike! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great food, delicious flavor to their pizzas!! We also had their burrata which was unbelievable!!!!! I would recommend it to anyone. The little store attached was also cool.

Yelp

Yelp
Stopped in for some food after visiting the nearby "Hopkins Ordinary Ale Works" - needed some food after the ales! I ordered a pizza in - one of their existing pizzas on the menu - but with extra pepperoni and sausage. They make the pizzas to order - so it probably takes 15-20 minutes for the pizza to come up. It's a thin crust pizza, very tasty! The one thing I will ding them on - is even though I ordered extra pepperoni and sausage - the meat seemed very sparse on the pizza. Next time I will ask. But it tasted good. I got the rest to go. #RappahannockPizzaKitchen

Yelp
We were driving back from a hike at Shenandoah and drove by this cute pizza shop. We decided to stop in for some pizza and were pleasantly surprised. The place was quite busy for the small town it is in, but the food was terrific and much needed after a long hike! The servers were great, but they were a bit slow, but only due to the large crowd. If you have good weather, the outdoor area is also quite nice.

Yelp
GREAT artisanal pizza in rural Virginia. Their crust is delicious, and their pizza comes in 12-inch pies (the cheese pizza also comes in 8-inch). We got the Omni pizza, which turned out to be a white pizza, and although we were expecting red sauce to come with it, the pizza was still delicious and went well with the roasted seasonal vegetable (asparagus). I got the pepperoni pizza, which, unlike most other places, buries their pepperoni under the cheese, presumably to keep the pepperoni from burning. I appreciated that this place doesn't skimp on the cheese! And I liked that they were open on Easter. Ordering wasn't very easy, and the staff was friendly both on the phone and in-person. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
RPH is a breath of flavor in a deep fried wilderness. Most 12" pizzas are 15-18. I loved the hog pizza. It was fabulous. Check out their daily specials too.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Delicious pizza. Wonderful, friendly service. Located in the heart of Sperryville. Fresh ingredients, 15 minute wait for two pizzas. 8" is definitely just for one person, btw. They sell beer & wine by the can (no drinking in the parking lot though); mostly from local places (e.g., Muse outside of Woodstock VA). Totally worth the prices. Definitely just stop by if in doubt. Will be back.

Yelp
Was a great place to stop in between hikes! The most amazing pizza (especially the crust)! Check for hours of operation as well- we arrived prior to opening but enjoyed sitting on the picnic tables out back!

Yelp
This place serves delicious pizzas and pastas - the ideal carb-heavy pre-hike or post-hike meal. The pizzas are made fresh right in front of your eyes in the open kitchen. The pasta tastes handmade too. Portions are generous and service is friendly with a smile. A true gem in this neck of the mountains.

Yelp
This is a five star pizza place for being local and out a bit and solidly 4+ stars for anywhere. The hog in the hive pizza was really, really good as well as being unique. It's spicy with fantastic salami and the sweetness of the honey blends really well with both the spiciness and the arugula which mellows out the salt. The mozzarella cheese was also fantastic and not just the normal coating on a generic pizza. The kids got a pepperoni pizza, which didn't disappoint either although it didn't stand out the way that the hog in the hive did. Next time I really want to try out the special mushroom and pork sausage toppings as well. My only regret, aside from not getting a third pizza, is that coronavirus meant we didn't get to sit on the 2nd story patio out back that looked amazing. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

Yelp
Eating here was one of the highlights of my weekend. If you're around the Shenandoah Valley make sure you stop in! We first ordered the tomato soup and it was delicious. It was great because it wasn't too sweet and had a really rich flavor. The olive oil on top was a nice touch! Then, we ordered the hog in the hive pizza and the carnivore pizza. The hog in the hive was my favorite - I love arugula on a pizza and the honey was a really nice touch. The carnivore was good too but the hog and hive was definitely more unique. Highly recommend RPK. Hope to go back whenever I'm in the area!

Yelp
Best pizza after a day at Shenandoah, they were able to do half Hog And the hive and half Omni. Creative pizza you would expect to see in DC in the middle of no where Virginia (I lost reception heading to this place), amazing!

Yelp
Flavor of meats on pizzas are local and aged and spiced.... Perfectly. Great job Team. Well worth the drive to Sperryville.

Yelp
We stopped here after a long hike, and it was such an amazing way to end the day!! The ambiance is so fun; the service is great; and the food is amazing! For appetizers: we got the Cheesy Bread (HIGHLY recommend) it was so good as well as Bread and Oil (focaccia and olive oil). Both were 10/10 I built my own pizza and it was delicious! 9/10 Such a great pizza place! I definitely recommend :)

Yelp
The food tasted good but it was not very much for the cost and not what was expected. We had the meatball Calzone. It did not have much meat and not ricotta cheese inside. The salad with shrimp was very small.

Yelp
Wonderful, small town ambiance and good pizza too! Pleasant wait staff and nice general store adjoining along with cozy bar joint.

Yelp
This is my stop after every Old Rag Mountain hike. Their pizza is absolutely amazing and a cold local ver tops it off just right.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, fair-priced offerings. Pizza crust a bit thick for my taste. Salads were good and well-portioned. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere

Yelp
We came at 12:15 which is a pretty busy time on a Saturday, so the slow service was to be expected but we weren't in any rush. The Hog in the Hive Pizza was our favorite. We barely tasted any honey on that pizza, but it was still good. The Omni Pizza was pretty good, but the other pizza was definitely an overall favorite. The crust is really good (ask for a side of marinara to dip in...trust me). It was a nice little stop in Sperryville.

Yelp
If you are craving carbs after a long and tedious hike, you want this pizza. It was quite a surprise for us to find this place, Sperryville is not exactly known as a gourmet place:) Seat yourself anywhere, they are very flexible. The staff is nice and not in your face "oh try this, try that." If you don't like to experiment, their cheese pizza is quite good. If you want to go a little wild, their Omni pizza is great. Grab a few sandwiches for the road. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Yelp
Our new foodie go to place!! Their artisan pizzas are gourmet and outstanding and are like farm to table using fresh ingredients, snipped herbs and include local produce. Their Carnivore, Hog in the Hive, Herb, and Pear-Adise pizzas taste amazing and are truly works of art snipped with herbs or sprinkled with arugula! The salads are fresh with homemade salad dressings and heavenly!! Don't miss this spot tucked away in Sperryville. Afterwards you can do a river walk along Thornton River and see the historic places and shops along Main Street. There is also a soft ice cream place on the backside of the river if you want to grab some on the way home!!

Yelp
Delicious pizza and great ambience! My husband and I shared a salad and a pizza that had prosciutto, caramelized onions, and pears. We loved our dinner and would definitely go back.
