"One of the best breweries in Maryland is RAR Brewery in Cambridge. This is a great spot to pick-up beer for the beach including popular brews like Country Ride Pale Ale, Drop Anchor IPA, or Groove City Hefeweizen. This combined with a tiki-themed snack bar and burger joint, make Cambridge a reliable spot to pit stop if the traffic builds on Route 50." - Tim Ebner

Great atmosphere and menu. The Chessie burger was very good and the selection of beverages was amazing. We had a sour beer flight and every one was outstanding.

Review: "I recently visited this restaurant in Cambridge, Maryland, and it was an absolute gem! The good vibes, delicious food, and wonderful ambience made it a great place to dine. What truly stood out was the warm welcome from the friendly staff, which added an extra layer of hospitality to the experience. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience in Cambridge!"

Google
Cool spot on Main Street for good beer. Food sizes are alittle small but good flavor. I would recommend the steak sandwich. They charge an extra $1 for their RAR sauce which isn’t worth it. Pretty much mayo with some seasoning. Also, take out beer is expensive being $8/can.

Google
Child size portions, Upscale restaurant prices!! I went here specifically to have a burger, blown away by the atmosphere, the pretzel bites appetizer was amazing, I added beer cheese and extra pretzel bites for an additional price. ( in hindsight adding the extra pretzel bites was a smart decision. The drink I chose was a Star Wars themed Ooo Sith Sauce 5%. Great tasting exactly as described. Then our burgers came. On a tray the same exact size as our appetizers. I suddenly felt like I was at a McDonald’s back in the 80’s. It was a size between a slider and a McDonald’s cheeseburger almost the size of an English muffin. The flavor was great the toppings all melded very well. The shoestring fries had a great seasoning and per the menu it was fresh cut in house. I personally do not like shoestring fries, the heat leaves them way too quickly. Overall this should never be considered as anything but bar food waiting for your beer. (As a side note every table seemed to have a usb outlet on the wall.)

Google
Nice brewery with attached restaurant, Chessie Burger. A good place to stop and grab some beers and food on a hot day. I recommend the Nanticoke Nectar. 🍺 It seems RAR may also run the Dive Club across the street. (I was in both sides of RAR and didn't realize they're listed as 2 different locations. So this same review covers both.)

Google
This venue offers three distinct atmospheres under one roof. The central area features high bar tables, creating a communal vibe with brick walls adorned in vibrant graffiti and signs. A more refined section showcases a long white backsplashed wall boasting over 20 taps of their brews, complemented by comfortable seating on deep cushions and barstools. The final area features wooden booths with quirky 90s decor, including Legos, a Talkboy, and VHS tapes. I highly recommend trying the wings, cooked to perfection with a variety of flavors to suit any taste. The Chessie Chop is another standout, featuring locally sourced sirloin and gooey beer cheese as a delicious topping. Their impressive variety of beverages ensures there's something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend visiting their original location in Cambridge or their new spot in Annapolis.

Google
This place is fantastic not just for beer but for food! There are few places that can do both, and do both well, but RAR does it! The burgers and salads are mouthwatering. The drink menu offers a wide variety and the fruity beers are like delicious smoothies!

Google
What a great atmosphere! We were driving through and needed a spot to stop for lunch and we found this great place. The food was well priced and was delicious. We tried 8 beers and each one was excellent. I hope that we are able to pass back past this place in the future. With all of the decorations, it is fun for the whole family!

Zach C.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Took a few coworkers there for an outing. They all rave about the chessie burger to this day. I suggest going with the triple because the double is that good. Huge fan of every beer on tap of course

Kara S.

Yelp
My partner found RAR with a friend last spring we returned on Memorial Day weekend Nice find cute location in a strip of renovated downtown Cambridge. Love the decor and open air rooms, good playlist although you can't go wrong with Bob Marley Beer notes- anything dark and anything sour says the beer aficionado The burgers were good, reminded me of midwestern butter burgers . The onion rings I had as a side get a thumbs up, crispy and cooked just right with a sprinkle of old bay. For an appetizer we had the drunken tots with crab, this is a must have , spectacular. Attentive service too

Lloyd D.

Yelp
This is friendly and fun little gem in Cambridge for a Monday night. Not too many choices but glad I made the trip here. Our server made great recommendation on beers and I was very satisfied. The burger I order was tasty and well done with a great sauce. Tater tots and beer cheese were the bomb. I loved the aura of this place and hope they open one near me. Our tap houses are stuffy and bland comped to RAR. And the beer is great.

Yelp
Went here with a group of 8 people around 1:30 on a Wednesday. It was pretty quiet which was nice because they had a great soundtrack that we were able to hear clearly. The atmosphere was awesome. It had and industrial feel with awesome artwork. We only had drinks while we were there. Most people had beer and complimented the wide variety and selection. I had an extra dirty martini and it was fabulous! The bartender came to check on how I liked it because it was the first one he made, and I was shocked! The bartender was super attentive and incredibly friendly. We will be visiting again when we are in town in 2024, thanks for a fun time!

Yelp
I always loved RAR and peeled off the highway for it when passing by. But it's better and better and better. It's truly a beer Mecca now with an incredible home grown list (double ipa, sours, imperial stouts) plus a ridiculous (meaning amazing) list of guest taps and cans. The latter includes some of best beers in the NE and mid Atlantic...like The Veil. They added food a few years back. Truly a spectacular experience..if you are a beer nerd it will stump you with too many choices.

Rhonda J.

Yelp
We had the best time visiting Cambridge for the UGRR- Harriet Tubman Underground Rail Road bike ride. As a group we met up to eat here and the customer service was top notch. I am so upset that I forgot our waitresses name because she had a good size group and since we all had coupons from the bike ride, she rang up the orders Individually. The food was good, atmosphere. Downtown Cambridge is very nice and it's close to the courthouse we're the Harriet Tubman is located and also not far from the museum. This is my 3rd visit to the area and I love it each other time. Sorry not a lot of food pics but everyone enjoyed their food lol.

Yelp
RAR Brewing was one of a small grouping of breweries I had for the first time recently. I got a beer from their Out of Order series, a series of fruited sour beers that come in a variety of flavors. I got their Bello Bananonia sour. As the name may imply this is a fruited sour that involves bananas. You can tell just as soon you pour it, the bright yellow that definitely screams banana. As far as I can recollect this is the first fruited sour I have had involving bananas and for that I really need to bump up in stars because I am always looking for unusual and creative beers. The beer itself I liked more than I thought and it wasn't too sweet or heavy on the stomach which surprised me because fruited sours often go down this path and it involves a very sweet fruit. But it was much more enjoyable than anticipated but I still feel that it may be better to have a smaller pour of it rather than a full sized pint. We had smaller portions and it was just right.

Patricia M.

Yelp
Great ambiance in the bar and great staff! So friendly. We loved the RAR herb double IPA.

Rick T.

Yelp
Definitely a drive from SC but worth it if you like to try unique pastry sours or stouts. Street parking available. Plenty of to go beers from the best brewery's on East coast too ! Open tomorrow for Thanksgiving 11-3 PM no food just drinks. Make sure to get beer stickers.

Stan O.

Yelp
They put a lot of care in their food. The seasonal salad tasted great, with a good mix of flavors and textures. The Chessie burger had a great bun and toppings. The shoestring fries were perfectly double fried. With so much care in their food, I wish I had tried their crab cake sandwich. The restaurant space was also filled with little hints of 1980s and 1990s nostalgia.

Steven C.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere. Decent burger. Great beer. I enjoyed the hazy ipa. Will definitely go back next time in Cambridge

Kylie S.

Yelp
The restaurant part of this brewery is called Chessie burger and it is awesome. I had a chili hot dog with macaroni and cheese, very cheap. I love it when restaurants have a range of prices on their menu, so you can go with friends and get the low end entre while others get the high end, or if you aren't super hungry you can find something appealing. The servers treated me well even though I sat alone, another test. They had booths that are comfortable for short people like me. Sold! Next time I'll try the crabcake and come for drinks.

Joyce D.

Yelp
Food is to accompany drinks. Lounge bar for young adults. Great focus on service! Most outstanding restaurant in downtown Cambridge.

Tyler R.

Yelp
Where do I begin?! About 6 months ago I got my hands on some of RAR's highly coveted "Out Of Order" lactose sour beers...my life was changed! As a fan of craft beer and more particular, sour and fruited beers, this was an absolute game changer for me. The OOO beers are typically heavily fruited, sour, and sometimes very sweet with the addition of their house pastry cream. I had to visit. This week, my wife and I had made the trip down. Over the course of our stay in Maryland, we stopped in a total of 5 times. First and foremost, the staff here are beyond excellent. Very friendly, social, and love to talk beer. They are attentive and provide excellent service in the taproom/adjacent cocktail bar (the LabRARtory). In addition to the OOO sours, they also have excellent IPAs and an expansive draft list featuring numerous beer styles - definitely something for everyone. To take it one step further: Chessie Burger. Man, this food is killer. It's better than bar food. The Chessie Chicken was top notch and the Chessie Deluxe was one of the best burgers I've ever had - it was fresh, mouthwatering and served with perfect shoestring fries...I couldn't get enough! Bonus points for the custom buns! All in all, I can't recommend this place enough. If you're ever in the area, or want to make the trip, you won't regret it!

Yelp
Came in today with my daughter while traveling through the area . We thought the place looks nice and decided to have lunch . Young man that waited on us was very good and friendly. But food is low quality and small portions . We placed our order at 1:30 and took till 2pm to get food after asking the server . We definitely won't be back tounfortunately Additional note is the crab cake sandwich has no price on it but you get hit with $22 on that . Sides are not mentioned as additional on a plate . Be careful of sticker shock when you get your food bill here .

A. P.

Yelp
This is a real nice chill spot to watch the game, meet up with friends or just grabbing a quick bite before heading home. I love the 3 sections. One side is great for families or the date night option, the middle section is great for friend groups and the lounge section. Is great for sipping beer or your favorite liquor. It has a cigar bar feel without the smoke. Food is delicious! The burger and onions rings I had were amazing. And they made my pain killer perfectly. The staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend.

Fred K.

Yelp
Great place to drink their beers on tap. For a Maryland brewer, I am glad to see them in many beer stores. While at their location, they sell crowlers and six packs of beer for you to enjoy your beers at home or for me, the Hyatt hotel nearby. They do offer food on premises, which really consists of burgers and fries/tots. We were pleasantly happy with our meals and would go back here again for a meal, but the star of the show are their beers! I like the street they are located in, with lots of parking nearby and many other places to shop and dine too.

Austin E.

Yelp
We have been coming to RAR over the years, and it just keeps getting better. I can remember visiting the brewery, and the food options were prepared at the end of the bar in a toaster oven. Boy have things changed! Food is great, and this most recent visit, the beautiful cocktail lounge was sparkling new. Gorgeous. On to the beer.... RAR continues to lead the field of local beer, and they continue to push the edge with new varieties. A must stop when visiting (or passing through) Cambridge.

Eri S.

Yelp
Made the mistake of walking in the hot and humid July afternoon and was happy to see the city closed the streets to traffic on Sundays so there were tables outside with umbrellas so you sometimes feel a light breeze. We both got the sampler flights (4x 6oz pours). Overall, a fun tasting with some unique, unexpected flavor/aroma profiles. Out Of Order People Watching tastes like a tropical fruit smoothie mixed with a Yakult yogurt drink (what?!?). The Pulp starts off as a very straightforward pale ale. RARgarita tastes like very very lightly flavored lime and salt water. Would be dangerous if you didn't know it had any alcohol because it tastes mostly like carbonated water and is served with ice cubes. Refreshing on a hot and humid afternoon. Stunts tastes like a straight ahead tangerine sour ale - also refreshing. Grapefruit Nectar is an IPA with the added bitterness and aroma of grapefruit, which I liked. Country Ride is a pale ale that starts a little closer to an IPA, but ends with a whiff of jolly ranchers candy (again, wha?). I wanted to try the RAR Clear because of childhood love of POG, but I didn't really enjoy. Recommend the pretzel bread with the mustard dip. If you're in the area, recommend it as a good place for both beer lovers and beer skeptics. And it's worth being in the area as it is just a block from the two-room Harriet Tubman Museum (interesting and very different from the National Park's Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad) and the mural of Harriet Tubman "Take my hand" by Michael Rosato.

Ryan P.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch and a flight driving back from the Beach. Not too far off the road for a quick stop, got a table right away. Had to try the latest Out of Order series, and the Pulp is also a good Pale Ale. The standout for me was Stunts, a Sour. Quick service and friendly staff!

Scott T.

Yelp
Excellent beer personable service. We did not order any food good atmosphere would definitely go back again!

Nina B.

Yelp
Awesome vibes. One side is a classic bar feel, the other is more modern seating area. I got a margarita while the rest of my party had beers on tap! Will be back. Many ciders, cocktails, wine for allergen friendly people.

Lisa G.

Yelp
This was perfect for our group of ~25. They have outside picnic tables in a cute, blocked street with boutiques. We took 3 of these tables and it was adult, kid and dog friendly (water bowl by each table). Food was pretty good; I really liked the tots. I had a flight and loved the Nanticoke and Quartz. The McFly and Rar Dog (margarita hard seltzer) were just okay. The latter wasn't overly flavorful. Service was friendly and relatively efficient, although food came out in odd intervals and they had to walk around and announce the item to try to find the person who ordered.

Jeff K.

Yelp
Best brewery I've been to in Maryland. Great space with awesome artwork throughout. Service was top notch. Highly recommend.

Beth K.

Yelp
I love RAR most especially "Nanticoke Nectar" and " Country Ride" , My favorite beer Nanticoke Nectar has citrus and pine flavors and pours a clean amber color with ABV 7.4 % . It's so good going down that you will easily want another. But I fall back to Country Ride. with ABV 5.4% full of tropical fruits and citrus. I love the entire atmosphere of this brewery. old school shuffleboard tables, garage doors that open the space when raised, amazing art on the walls, and exposed brick wall behind the bar. This is a former bowling alley and pool hall from 80 years ago. Everything just works here . I love how they block off Poplar Street and allow for outdoor seating, with tables and umbrellas to shade. This a dog friendly brewery. Try the "Drunken Tots" which are grown up tater tot bombs. They fry the tater tots add bacon, scallions, mozzarella , beer cheese , and sour cream . oh yeah ! everything but the kitchen sink thrown in. Don't bother adding crab or chicken, its not necessary, you still go to tater tot heaven!

C F.

Yelp
Was so excited to finally go here in person. Love the out of order series and the food was pretty good too. Will be returning next time I head to Assateague Island.

Stacy S.

Yelp
We went there for lunch and we were disappointed by the selection. I wanted a cup of coffee but they "don't have coffee" ( I don't drink soda) so that was first. My dining partner has diet restrictions ( lo fat lo sugar) so there was only the crab cake which was served on a rough lettuce 'salad' with literally nothing else in the salad . I'll probably not go back.

Saunton T.

Yelp
Got here late. Beers were flowing. The decor and art is awesome! Next time I need to get here early and try the burgers!

Heidi F.

Yelp
Cambridge is an epic town and RAR is a great addition. I have been meaning to checking this place out and was so pumped to come here to try all the beers! I Oh I mean all the beers. My friend and I ordered 13 samples and it not disappoint. The bar tender explained where to start and the notes of the brews. I love craft beer so it was a blast trying the beer and talking with everyone at the bar. The open concept is great and the art is really nice. The beer here is pretty stellar stuff and some of favorite. There's no surprise that on can release days they sell out! Loved everything.

Colin D.

Yelp
Great beer. Decent food. Kid friendly--at least on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff. Cool space. Really, really hard to complain. This place is awesome. It has the feelings of a cozy dive bar, but cleaner and with decent (if limited food) and amazing beer as well as super-cool, trendy decor. The reason to come is the amazing craft beer though. This place is world class with a specialization in IPAs and east coast, juicy IPAs at that. Seriously, come here an try them all and you will not be disappointed. Came here with my wife and kids on the way back from the beach after meaning to come here for a long time. It was right off 50 on the way home, which was nice since time is always limited when traveling with kids. The inside was clean, and nice with several long high-top tables in the middle of the space and a few long tables with benches in the back. We set up at one of the long tables in the back and had it all to ourselves on the Sunday afternoon. My guess is at more popular times the place is more crowed, less family friendly, and darker. Still, it was perfect for us at the time. We ordered some tater tots with ketchup for our 3-year-old to munch on. They were delicious and I wound up eating half of them. The rest of the menu is what they call "standard pub fare" consisting of mostly chicken and crab dishes, but--surprisingly--no burgers. We didn't order anything, so I can speak to how it tastes, but the people around us got nice-looking chicken sandwiches and seemed pretty happy. The space was done up in an incredibly cool fashion with wall-art of their beer's labels all over one wall and their taps done up as tubes from the mario video games. Just cool and trendy. Let's be honest though, the reason to come here is the beer and they have the goods. This place is truly world class and their juicy, northeast-style IPAs are second-to-none. I worked my way through tastes of everything they had on tap but the Nanticoke Nectar, which you can find widely and I'd had before. Everything was interesting and several of the beers were as good as I've had in terms of IPAs.

Patrice Z.

Yelp
A pleasant little surprise while exploring Maryland. I loved everything about RAR, it is a simple brewery with good brews and stickers. They are opening up another location next to this one to be more of a restaurant. I personally adore sour beers and this place made really really good sours. There are flights and food available on site as well. Very hipster induced food and crab like options (no wonder it is close to the bay). The bathrooms were clean and single occupancy only. The parking was a bit strange, in the lot next to the place there is limited parking (be careful don't get towed). Bros would love the crap out of this joint

Roger B.

Yelp
My family had Chessie burgers all around. The burgers were great, and don't underestimate the appeal of dinosaur-stamped burger to a kid. The decor and ambience were really fun too.

Courtney K.

Yelp
Bottom Line: Terrific for craft beer but so disappointing for food service This should probably be 2.5 star review but I'm going to round up in favor of a local business. Upon arriving at RAR everything was off to a great start: - great craft beer right from the start - historic building with charm - fun, decor that I would describe as "industrial anime" - rollup garage doors and open air that reminds me of my second home and craft beer capital San Diego - a shuffleboard table We ordered food and then it went downhill. We waited 40 minutes for hot dogs and a chicken wrap! Ugh. And there were only about 20 people in the whole place. Meanwhile, while we waited for our order, we saw an employee's friend come in with their kids and get food within five or 10 minutes. No exaggeration there. I suspect accommodating the VIP guests (the kids) threw the people making food off track and they lost our order. The waitress did apologize and give us one free beer but a 40 minute wait for food couldn't be made right by a $5 discount on our tab. Such a shame.

Joe M.

Yelp
Out of 5 Stars Service: 4.5 Cleanliness: 5 Food: 4 Beer Selection: 5 Overall: 4.5 Comment: Another fantastic brewery! Excellent choice of in house microbrews. Excellent service. Excellent food. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Cambridge!

Andrea B.

Yelp
Hands down our very favorite brewery on the Eastern Shore. Always start with a flight, then go from there! The nachos are another staple!

Anita M.

Yelp
I go here for the food! My favorites are the seasonal salad, wings, and Mac and cheese (mad with beer cheese). The environment is fun, modern, and clean. It's a perfect stop if you are going toward the beaches.

Dionne J.

Yelp
The Hoopers Island Tea was great. The Boathouse not so much. The real issue is being told 6 times that we couldn't have fries or any of the bar food in the lounge chairs because they were too nice and didn't want them getting messed up. What??? It's a bar, dude. Order commercial grade FFE for your space. We drank, eat fries at the drink ledge and left. Won't be back.

Kevin S.

Yelp
This is my favorite Maryland brewery from a beer drinker's standpoint. Sure, you don't have the wide open farmhouse vibe you might get at a rural Maryland brewery, but the vibe is still pretty great. RAR's Out of Order line is worth the 5 star review alone. You will not find another beer series quite like it, and it can be enjoyed by both hoppy beer lovers, and beer haters as well, they are just so complex and delicious. Vermont has their Heady Topper, Maryland has our Out of Order. RAR is very innovative, and doesn't play the "safe" game. If they tell you this beer tastes like chocolate lava cake, there is a good chance that is an accurate representation. Their master brewer clearly has experience to go along with quite the palette. I can't comment on the food because I didn't have any, but the burger my friend ordered looked tiny. RAR also has some of the best merch out there. They are constantly restocking and coming out with new swag. I've purchased t-shirts, Christmas ornaments, glasses, stickers, etc. Their designer is fantastic. If you're like me and will travel for good beer, RAR is undoubtedly worth the trip to Cambridge. If you combine that with a night booked at the Hyatt Regency on the water, you've got yourself a pretty good vacation in an otherwise small town.

Lisa B.

Yelp
This place has kickass mac n cheese!!!! Too bad it's only a small side. Service is a bit slow, so if you're on a lunch break, it may not work for you. The kitchen is very small and things are freshly made.

Eric L.

Yelp
Great beer. The groove city and out of order are consistently my favorite. There beers leave me sometimes with a little headache but it's well worth it. Yes I make the two hour drive to get beer and it is worth it. My only gripe... The food has not settled with me very well on a couple of occasions. Plus they don't have much in terms of anything outside of bar food. Really it's about the beer. It's great.

Dana D.

Yelp
They do a great job with food and service! I love the grapefruit crush and several of the beers! A fun space and great for friends

William S.

Yelp
RAR Brewery at 504 Poplar St, Cambridge, Maryland is a really awesome local's spot and destination for those visiting, or even those just passing through. The beer menu, of craft drafts, is really just awesome.  IPA, Hefeweizen, American Wheat, Farmhouse Blonde, Grapefruit IPA, American Pale, and even an American Brown Ale (which is an amazing dark beer) are all delicious. The food menu is rather eclectic and includes BBQ Pork Sandwiches, Salad, Tater Tots, and several other items to really appeal to anyone's tastes. Service was on point tonight and really cool.  Joe the Bar Guy was very attentive to every customer's needs, willing to explain menu items, checked in regularly, and was on point with all orders.  Joe even has fun at his job which makes for an awesome environment, which is what the place was even tonight on an average Wednesday night. I'll be back to RAR Brewery at 504 Poplar St, Cambridge, Maryland, and quite frankly glad I found it tonight.  Had no idea this gem was tucked away in downtown Cambridge!  Thank You RAR!

Isabella J.

Yelp
The atmosphere was great, super laid back. Interesting and modern decor that made any waiting interesting. The side room has a large garage style window they kept open, although it did not affect the temperature inside which was nice. Food was good and exactly what you'd expect. Small menu of some burgers, sandwiches, and salads to go with soft drinks or beer, but enough for a good time.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Ocean City at the recommendation of a local friend. From a COVID safety standpoint with indoor seating, everyone was safely distanced and all precautions were in place. The decor was awesome and reminiscent of our childhood. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. We had the pretzel bites and chessie burgers- all were delicious. Their beer menu, as promised, had a great variety and their flavors were well-balanced and not overdone. We took beers to go and will certainly be back!

Whitney A.

Yelp
I loved the decor of the taproom. All of the pop culture references and spoofs were fun. The bartenders seemed to be very attentive to their patrons. I ordered a "Out of Order-Strawberry Kiwi Sour" and was instantly satisfied by the thirst-quenching, tart flavor. I liked the beer so much that I got an "oil can" of it to-go. My boyfriend got a brown ale that he liked. He is not a big sour fan.... sad for him!!! Sours and Goses are the bomb! Cambridge is a bit of a drive from Baltimore, but if I go back to Ocean City or the other beaches soon, I would definitely consider coming back to experience some more great, full-flavored beer and make some great future purchases. Cheers!!

Eddie I.

Yelp
Every time I head toward Cambridge I make this the one place that I will not pass up for a beer. It's directly in the heart of the city and always has people in the brewery. They never disappoint. Cambridge in general is a great place to spend the weekend and if you do, put this on the agenda. They have awesome branding and the atmosphere is cool. Especially since they renovated and bought the next store lot. They are a brewery first with cool gear (hats, shirts, etc.) The only reason I am going with four stars is that the food is what you'd expect from a bar but reasonably priced. I would lean on other places for food and keep this the spot that you drink at. Love RAR.

Bobby A.

Yelp
Love RAR! Best burgers in town. Pretzel bites and crab dip are amazing. Great atmosphere, and very friendly staff. A must try if your in the area.

Joy A.

Yelp
This has been my go-to place since COVID restrictions allowed the opening of restaurants. I enjoy the simple menu, fun decor and casual vibe. It is a nice large space so there is a comfortable distance between you and the next patron. The burgers are scrumptious and the price point is great. I'm not much of beer person and I was able to find something I enjoy (STUNTS). I love that I can support this local business in the middle of town.

Alex M.

Yelp
I really liked Chessie's Lab dry hopped lager. Perfect for a warm, muggy day. Pulp (pale ale) was superb too! BTW Closed down street so you can sit outside on weekend.

Larissa J.

Yelp
So a friend recommended that I visit the brewery when I was in town because she knows the owners and I have to admit it was the highlight of my trip to Cambridge, MD. Their main street is what all small town main streets should be and having a brewery right on the main street is perfect. I visited in the middle of October so the place was decorated to the nines with Halloween decorations which I loved! Pumpkins everywhere, tv's everywhere (playing the Orioles championship games), a band playing, and people filled the entire bar! It was definitely the place to go on a Saturday night! Luckily I arrived before the crowds got there so I had the opportunity to chat with one of the owners, Chris and one of the bartender and they were so super helpful and really down to earth - they are just stellar gentlemen! I tried pretty much every beer they had on draught and especially liked their beers - the Big Lizzy was by far my favorite and I learned about some Eastern Shore folklore along the way which was fabulous!!! Because I was able to sample all of the beers ($2 each - great deal) I needed something to snack on so I ordered the crab dip which was phenomenal!! The only thing that wasn't great during my time at Realerevival was the bread that came with the dip. I was super impressed that the bread was made my another local shop but the bread was too doughy and had a very strong flavor (anise and lemon - it was weird) but I could eat the dip right out of the bowl, it was that good! As a single lady in town for business I must say this place was more than perfect for a Saturday night out - I entered not knowing a soul in Cambridge and left feeling like I had a bar full of friends! Chris and his team are really doing a great job of bringing local beer to Maryland - and they do it with a smile and an enthusiasm that is unbridled - I am so glad this place was recommended to me and the next time I am Cambridge, I am totally stopping by!!! (Oh and side note, sometimes they do Kayak and beer tours which I missed but sound amazing so check that out!!!)
