"At Encore Boston Harbor in Everett, Medium Rare Lounge is the little sibling of Rare Steakhouse. It offers a more relaxed dining experience without reservations, tablecloths, or the expectation of a three-hour dining extravaganza like at Rare. The menu includes a dry-aged burger, cheeseburger sliders, and desserts like the junk food tower, featuring a housemade take on the Hostess Sno Ball, Fruity Pebbles treats, cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, whoopie pies, and a pink cloud of cotton candy." - Erika Adams

The Rare lounge is a very exquisite bar. They have the best selection of whiskey and spirits . The bartenders there are truly special. They can shake up and make the best drinks and the greatest part is that they do it with a smile and make you feel special when they do it. I would recommend the rare longe to anyone who wants a fine dining. Experience

This is currently the bar that my wife and I enjoy the most in the Boston area. The bar tenders make amazing cocktails and the food is perfect. We have always had perfect experiences here. Oh and the live music is phenomenal.

The waiter and busser were great! Water kept coming and the waiter was very knowledgeable. The bartender took forever to make our drinks. Apparently training someone, which is fine, but it was time wasted. The espresso martinis are delicious. The singer abd piano player was phenomenal.

Food was not that good for price, filet mignon was avg at best . Broccoli rabe had sand in it like they didnt wash b4 serving . Jumbo asparagus, didn't list white asparagus, what came out looked like miniature dildos covered with white junk lol , was awful presentation lol 😆.

Went here on a Monday night, close to kitchen closing. Kassandra and Malik were so great. They couldn’t have been nicer, food was so good and service was so attentive. I never felt like I was inconveniencing them, instead they were so welcoming!

I will start with the positive as it is a very nice atmosphere in this legit 5 Star Resort Facility, but otherwise not a good experience at this eatery. I ordered their “James Bond Martini” and it was rancid and undrinkable after only ½ a sip. The server was not happy when I politely returned it and asked for a draft beer instead. The Peroni draft came out cold, but it actually seemed watered down. The $20 Caesar Salad I ordered was a wet mush. The $30 Shrimp Cocktail had enormous shrimp, as advertised, but they were tasteless and the cocktail sauce was some foul inedible ketchup with some horseradish shavings. My partner had the fish and chips. One of the fish pieces was decent, but the other one tasteless and the best we could say about the chips/fries were that they were at least edible. The first server we had looked miserable. The second was okay. When the bill came, the rancid Martini ($18) was still on there! When I asked for it to be removed, the server said he would have to check with the manager, but that manager wasn’t available. Yikes! So we waited another 15 minutes and it finally got taken off. What a $100+ mess.

Great atmosphere. Good service. Tasty food but extremely tiny portions!

Yelp
The Caesar salad and kaarange chicken were amazing. Service was fast and attentive and drinks were tasty and cute. The live music and Christmas decor made it nice and cozy.

Yelp
My partner and I visited Rare Lounge for a light "dinner" before we played some slots and had a great experience. For food, my partner ordered the beef pigs in a blanket, and he thought they were great. We had fun sampling the different kinds of ketchup with our fries. I consider myself to be grilled cheese's number 1 fan, and always have to try one if it's on the menu. This grilled cheese in particular was savory, unique, and delicious! The fries were also super yummy. However, I do feel the prices are too high for what you get. We really wanted to try the junk food tower, but for essentially "gas station snacks", it was a little out of budget. Service was a tiny bit slow getting the check, but our food/waters came out promptly and the extra sauces we asked for were brought quickly. It is a super small space, but we didn't feel crowded. The tables are comfortable and there is a bar + sushi bar to sit at. Weirdly, there were a ton of "reserved" tables, but we didn't see any reservations come in while we were there. They even had a live piano player while we were there, which I absolutely loved. Overall, the price would be the only thing holding me back from going again.

Yelp
So yes, this is one of my new favorite places to relax for a drink or eat dinner. The atmosphere is high and relaxing with a lot of perks. The first perk is you can use your comp points from Encore casino in this lounge. Next is you can actually order off the menu from Rare Steakhouse in this lounge. Then, personally for me the third biggest perk is most evenings they have a live piano player. I've seen two or three different musicians and they were all above par very relaxing picked out some great piano tunes and it was just a joy to sit there and enjoy the music have a cocktail and then on different occasions dinner while the music is playing just fabulous. It's located on the main level of the Wynn Boston Harbor Resort. Next-door to Rare Steak House. Be prepared to empty the pocketbook because it's bit a pricey, but like I said, you can use your comp points might as well use them for top quality food and drink. On the other hand, there are some bargains on the menu such as the fish and chips I believe it's $25 or $28 and you get a huge piece of white, fluffy, battered fish with fries and I definitely would suggest asking for a double side of coleslaw. I'm not much of a coleslaw guy, but the slaw is good. As with most high end establishments, the service is impeccable. The place is immaculate. It shines as does the whole resort, and every single thing that I eat or drink taste great! As of February 2, 2024 you can still park in the underground garage for free. You can also enter the casino for free. And you can enjoy the exterior gardens for free. So grab a loved one and make a day or night of it. Enjoy yourself. I give this place a solid five stars.

Yelp
Wow what a great addition to the Encore Boston Harbor. I actually felt as if I was in a Las Vegas lounge. It is dark and relaxing. I ordered the hamburger and shrimp cocktail. The hamburger was delicious. I usually do not enjoy seasoned fries but these steak fries tasted natural and were not greasy. The shrimp cocktail were meaty and large. I prefer unsliced cocktail sauce as the sauce imparted a saline taste that I didn't enjoy. Next time I would ask for unspiced cocktail sauce. In regards to the service the bartenders were lacking. The cocktails were very good. But Bill the bar back noticed that I was being ignored and stepped up. It is a place one can hang incognito. I think I had some hotel bosses next to me. This may have impeded the experience. The place is on the right course. The path to success is easy. Follow the plan that created success in Vegas. Great food, spectacular service and fun experiences.. I want a Vegas experience even when I'm in Boston.

Yelp
I went to Rare Lounge located in Encore Boston Harbor Casino to celebrate a friends birthday this week. This swanky cocktail spot offers an excellent assortment of small and big bites to split amongst your friends or family. You also will fall in love with the ambiance at this spot! As soon as we arrived we were immediately serenaded by @emimcswain on the piano (she kept playing my fav Lady gaga!!!) For cocktails we had the calico skies, harlow, love story, lucky streak and wild wood. If you are a whisky lover or perhaps desire a smokey presentation I recommend getting the wild wood it has Makers Mark 'Encore Select' Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey. If you love tequila then I recommend getting the calico skies or the harlow cocktails. All the drinks were very delicious 9/10. Fo small bites we had the mini lobster rolls 7/10, pigs in blanket 7/10, chicken sliders 8/10, cheesesteak bites 9/10, and the tuna cones 8/10. My personal favorites from the small bites were the cheesesteak and the chicken sliders. The cheesesteak was beautifully prepared with caramelized onions , aged provolone cheese sauce on a black truffle brioche roll. The chicken sliders also cooked perfectly and had kimchi ranch, cabbage slaw and cucumber. For big bites we had the steakhouse burger, the truffle grilled cheese, and the steak frites. My personal favorite was the truffle grilled cheese. They did not skimp on the truffle here! This sandwich had gruyère, aged cheddar, truffle aioli, and seashore fries All the big bites came with perfectly seasoned/cooked fries. For dessert we had the warm chocolate truffle cake and a chocolate martini. The truffle cake contained whiskey ice cream, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and bacon caramel popcorn. So many flavor bombs with this dessert! It all came together so well and is definitely a must try if you are into boozy desserts. Stop by this spot if you are in Encore and want to be serenaded with great music drinks and food! Food/drinks: 8/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Affordability: 5/10

Yelp
I know the lounge just opened for a week, but I already had a bad experience with it. 1) there was no sign that says seat yourself or wait for host/anything. I had to go up and ask are we seating ourselves or what. He replied "yes its first come first serve". Ok a sign would be helpful at the door.... 2) no one and I mean NO ONE came to clean the table for us or serve us I had to go up to the bar twice to ask for service. 3) the food was 4/10 it was like leftovers from Rare steakhouse. 4) the drinks were not bad 8/10 especially the presentations of the drinks, the cups that it was served in was cute and cool. They had live music, which was okay. The lounge was so small I expected it to be bigger. They closed off half the section for VIP? But they didn't even have VIP until 11pm.....Overall, was it worth the bug hype as the radio had portrayed it? Definitely not!!! You would expect them to have everything together by the time they open, but NOPE! Honestly spend your money on gambling instead if wasting your time and money here. One of the worse experiences I have ever had.

Yelp
Despite the low rating, I thought I was going to have a better experience because I really like Rare. I came a week into it being open and the experience was okay. I figured I would give them some time to iron out the little issues and waited a few weeks to try again. It just got worse. It was not a particularly busy night. The main bartender, was nice to some people, but generally pretty surly. I was told after sitting at the bar for 5 minutes that it will be a few minutes and they will clean the spot in front of me. I am in no rush, so that's okay. I hear the bartender complaining out loud to himself. He then comes and takes my food order, doesn't ask me about a drink. I place my order for oysters for there and a grilled cheese with fries to-go ( originally I was going to eat the whole meal there, but the energy he was giving off made me want to minimalize my time there ) As soon as he walks off, the female bartender ( much friendlier, more observant ) asks me if I need a glass of water or a drink. I had asked the bartender to substitute ANYTHING for the ketchup that came with the fries. When my order came out, there was ketchup. The bartender rushed over and said he would go ask. He did not leave the area or speak with anyone before he came back and said the kitchen told him they only do ketchup. I questioned could I not get one of the condiments that came with the oysters. I would have been fine with cocktail sauce or some mignonette. I was told no. At a 5 star hotel, I expect a little above and beyond from staff. I got less than expected. In addition to that, the cheese sandwich was tiny, and the oysters were both small and low quality. If it were not for the female bartender, this review would not have even received a second star. Time to promote her. The head bartender needs a talking to. Never again . I will continue to go to Rare, but I am leaving the lounge alone,

Yelp
I asked for a French 75 with cognac instead of Gin for my pal and bartender took it upon herself to sub cognac with gran mariner which was confusing and bad but I admired her pluck.

Yelp
We came for dinner and looked at the menu beforehand. We knew that it would be pricey but no problem. We each had a manhattan which were ok. Both had cheeseburgers which were perfectly cooked and delicious in taste and each had a glass of wine. Assuming that we ordered the house wine as we didn't specify a specific brand we were very displeased to find that the server, Cara, poured a $35.00 per glass wine. This was a very unpleasant surprise. There is a discount if you use your player's card and she did not deduct the discount. Deceitful. This ruined the ex.
