Everything is a 5 star! The friendly service, the cosy atmosphere, and the memorable food! I recommend getting here early to avoid being hungry in line because the venue inside is small! From memory there is 10 chairs around the bar so the bigger the group = the longer the wait! Once you’re inside everything is pretty speedy and you get to watch the chef put your artwork together! They’re very friendly and give you tips on how to enhance the flavour!

Classic example of when you have a strong social media game, your food and service doesn’t matter. Came here as an influencer proclaimed this “his best meal in Tokyo” - the opposite was my experience. Food was mid, fried food drenched in sweet sauce. Nothing outstanding but nothing offensive either. What offended was the appalling service, the lady boss acted haughty, as though she was doing us a favour by allowing us to dine there. When I finished, I was told to get off my chair and move to the side (and stand there) to wait for my partner to be done so they could allow another group to be seated (and we had barely dined for 30 minutes). The ramen bar I went to with an incessant queue outside didn’t even do that, and we paid a quarter of the prices here. I understand efficiency is key but when you pay a certain amount you expect the service to be part of the experience. And this experience was extremely negative.

Went here on the first and last day of our Japan trip. So delicious. The first time we arrived on a Monday just after opening and had to wait for the first round of diners to finish. The second time we arrived at 1215 on a Tuesday and was seated immediately. We both enjoyed the beef bowl and added an egg, asparagus, pumpkin, and eggplant. Don’t miss out on the delicious scallops and tuna as well.

One of the best meals you could get in Tokyo! This place is small and intimate as they only have 9 seatings so it fills up fast. The chefs fries the tendon/tuna/veggies in front of you and plate the bowl skilfully and present it to you in a spectacular manner. It's such an experience having a meal here. Chika was our server and she was the best as she made sure we were well taken care of!

My hubs found this tempura restaurant that offers seafood and Wagyu beef. 'Rare Tendon Ginza Mitsuyoshi' in Ginza was a good find and only issue is there is only nine seats available at a time to eat! We came when they about opened at 11am on a Wednesday. Six seats were already taken so we were in luck, they had three seats for us left. I can't imagine how the wait would be later on. I am sure it would be a slow line for people to want to eat here. I ordered the Normal Seafood Grade meal and added additional Wagyu beef. Everything was deep fried with light tempura coating except for the rice. The Wagyu is like rolled up beef and the tuna tempura was delicious. The rice is lightly coated with tempura's sauce which was good. They also provide wasabi and coarse salt on a tray. You would just need to add soy sauce. They also provide fresh ginger. They also provide a light broth to add left over rice, etc. I didn't care for it much as it was good by itself. My hubs ordered the same but added additional egg and scallops. It was very good. They do have a few options for drinks like hot sake, tea, beer and coke. No dessert. All utensils were in the drawer in front of your seat. The bar like setting gives you little room for your meal, drinks and condiments but what is good you can see them cook in action. Staff are very friendly, somewhat know English but they try. I would come back here again if we are in the area and it's not busy.

I was worried this was another tourist trap, but I‘m happy to say it was one of the best tendons I’ve had! The meat it juicy and their sauce is special, just as they say. The chefs were also very kind. Overall, I had a great experience and hope to visit again!

This dining experience was quite unique, as I’ve never had wagyu beef in tempura form before. The chef carefully selected the cut, and I truly appreciated their attention to detail. The balance between lean meat and fat was flawless, resulting in a tender texture, while the light batter added a nice crunch. The tempura vegetables were also executed perfectly. I highly recommend trying the chicken breast, especially considering it’s only 220 yen! Cooking it slightly under kept the meat tender, allowing the natural sweetness of the chicken to shine without being overwhelming. I arrived at around 10:55 am, and by then, a queue had already started to form. It's worth noting that the restaurant has only 9 seats available. I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated.

Make reservations! We got super lucky. We walked in when they opened at 5:30pm for dinner. They asked if we'd be able to finish eating by 6pm because they were fully booked. Of course we said yes. Definitely worth it!
