We stayed at an ABnB nearby so we could walk right up to it. The trailer is in the parking lot of Cork n Brew on Cumberland and Congress.
We got Chicken Tikka bowl on a bed of rice which came with a side of naan. The Chicken Tikka was flavorful with a nice amount of slow-burn heat, not too spicy but it let you know it was there. Overall it was good... a little spendy at $14 for what you get, but it's not outrageous. At least the flavor made it seem ok.
I got a Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. This was interesting, A touch on the salty side, it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a real Southern-style sammy or not. The chicken was fried in a southern fashion but it came with green chutney, a slaw of some kind, and cheese. The flavor combination was interesting, but not quite there. Not Indian style and not Southern. I think they need to re-assess what they want it to be and make it one way or the other. American cheese doesn't really go on there and is odd/unnecessary.
I would have LOVED if they had done an Indian-style Chicken 65 sammy on a roti or naan with some amazing Indian condiments/chutneys. OR a Southern Fried chicken coated with chicken 65 spices and a tart mango chutney as the acid punch that it needs.
The fries were seasoned, with some Indian spices(?) interesting, but again, almost, but not quite there. Needed something to put it over the top. Here's my 2 cents, They should do a take on loaded fries... fries with chicken & tikka sauce garnished with cilantro. THAT would be cool.
So, the bottom line is, it's good, but NOT spectacular. It's an ok value for the money but barely.
