Rasa Sayang Review - Chinatown - London - The Infatuation

"Whoever you choose to bring to this bustling Malaysian spot in Chinatown—a group of friends for a catch-up or just yourself at lunchtime—they'll leave full and satisfied. The menu of Malaysian and Singaporean classics has something for everyone. It serves the kind of wholesome, nutty beef rendang you’ll crave at least once a month. There's flaky roti canai with a halal spicy chicken curry and its vegetarian version of char kway teow is one the best in town. The ground floor usually has some spots saved for walk-ins, with an airy, bright interior, yellow and white walls, and some booths that you can get comfy in. It’s an ideal place to camp out for a couple of hours. But if you like being in the thick of it and you’re organised enough to make a booking beforehand, then the smaller buzzy downstairs dining room is probably for you. It's filled with groups who give the impression that they’ve been here enough times to order without looking at the menu and people hunched over steaming bowls of king prawn laksa. Even on a Tuesday evening, every spot is taken. Rasa Sayang is easy on your bank balance too. There's a £10.95 weekday lunch menu (optional power nap directly after) that your financial advisor will appreciate. But even without the lunchtime deal, a meal here is still excellent value—£30 can take you a very long way, especially if you come with a small group and order a couple of curries, some rice dishes, and a fried noodle number to share. Just be warned it might not be the place for a quiet catch-up, unless it’s between you and the wok-fried noodles. Food Rundown Beef Rendang If you only get one thing, make it this. Pieces of tender beef which have been slow-cooked for six hours in a hearty, thick, coconut-heavy sauce. Satisfying and slightly sweet, this pairs perfectly with roti canai or coconut rice. Roti Canai With Chicken Curry Tasty with a capital T, this curry sauce is rich, slightly spicy, with melt-in-the-mouth chicken on the bone, and potatoes soaked in the curry. Char Kway Teow Wok-fried flat noodles in a dark soy sauce, you can either get this with seafood or as a veggie option. Both are great but we’re very into the broccoli and green beans that come in the vegetarian one. Plus it makes a welcome change from the rest of the beige dishes. Nasi Lemak The same excellent chicken curry that comes with the roti canai, except served with coconut rice, crispy anchovies, and peanuts. A filling, delicious bowl that’s great if you’re coming in for a solo meal." - Rianne Shlebak

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Malaysian restaurant “Rasa Sayang”, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. Even though we have allergies to some products, we were able to find a great selection of food that we can choose from. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the overall ambiance. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Malaysian cuisine!

Wanted to try Malay cuisine for the first time. I am so glad I was able to dine here. The food and service and atmosphere were amazing. I recommend all the dishes I got!

Google
The place is nice. Amazing patient staff and cozy atmosphere. The menu is simple and priced reasonably. The food was good, but not amazing. It was flavorful, but nothing that makes you want to run back for more. Although, sushi was top tier and made to order. That was the shining star.

Google
We had a wonderful first experience, service was great and fast! The food started being served literally five minutes after we ordered. Great sushi ! Malaysian margarita with infused pineapple was a delicious. Happy hour 5/8 p.m.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We went for lunch and everything we had was delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the waitress was great. We would definitely go back.

Very convenient location, located inside concord mall. Easily accessible as it has its own private door for exit and times you can enter through instead of going inside the mall. Parking is shared by mall goers and it’s lot of spaces. Restaurent ambience was good , staffs are friendly, attentive , outside food is not allowed, speed of service was great , menu selection was good , though it says Malaysian , when we ordered roti kanai( we received ready made roti, seems like not made in house- disappointed), curry it came along was good but still the quantity was way less. Chicken/tofu lettuce wraps tasted good but still higher in sodium/salt. ,Tom yum soup both veg/non veg options tasted good, fried rice (basil) was ok , chicken satay tasted better not great. All in all our experience is ok not that great.

Google
Location - Next to Boscov's. Google maps would take you to back side of the mall. The food is great. I would definitely come back again to try their other dishes. We ordered: 1) Roti Canai - 5/5. Must have 2) lettuce chicken wraps - 5/5. Must have 3) Spicy chicken bite - 1/5. Didn't like it 4) Pineapple fried rice - 4/5. My family liked it 5) Singapore rice noodles - 4/5 6) Red curry -4/5. I just wish the vegetables were chopped a bit small rather than bigger chunks of pieces 7) Spicy Cani roll - 3/5 Must try if you are craving thai/Malaysian food or if you are in the area.

Had the sushi combo (6 pieces of spicy tuna and 6 pcs of spicy salmon) along with fried veggie dumplings and Thai basil noodles. The staff was super friendly and the place was not crowded. Food was given immediately on ordering. The sushi was not the best quality but the noodles were good.

Yelp
I miss their old independence mall location but I like stopping by the old concord mall. It appears they were unable to get those big ole crepe making apparatuses moved into the new location so they just use some store bought stuff for the roti canai now so I don't bother ordering it The pineapple fried rice no longer comes out in a hollowed out pineapple either. But! They have added sushi to the menu Other than that this place has remain unchanged throughout the years. The food is good, the portions are large, and the service is swift My favorite dish is the green curry with red roast pork. Especially during the cold winter months. Come support rasa sayang and the concord mall

Yelp
we ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and the roti. nothing seems to be standing out with the food. Just some average fusion food. Was kind of disappointed with the food due to the fact that the roti was not like the thin pancakes that other Malaysian restaurant serve. This Roti was more thick and similar to like the Indian rotis. The curry dip that comes with it was really thin, more water down, barely any flavor or any of the spices. as for the pineapple fried rice, some of the pineapples were OK and then there were some that were sour and some that smelled bad. there was any barely any flavor in any of the food that we got and compared to all the other reviews and pictures from other customers ours looked really bland like there was no color.

Yelp
Large Thai food restaurant with a bar. Even so, it was pretty empty. The pad Thai was pretty good and the portion was good. I'd definitely recommend for a quick dinner or lunch. Seems like most individuals who entered were grabbing it to-go.

Yelp
Rasa Sayang Concord mall, pike #830, Wilmington, DE . Another delicious spot for Asian cuisine. The place is cozy with numerous options to try. The staff were helpful, and the food service was fast. My favorites were Char Kway Teow and Pineapple Fried Rice. The Wasabi Pork Shumai was good, but be ready for a spicy kick. The Rose Pork Red Curry was delicious, and the portion was generous.
google avatar

Erik R.

Yelp
Here's the thing, the food is good. Really fresh, hot, and scrumptious. No matter how you pick your food, the options are tasteful. They have a bar, and sushi choices. But, I really think this is Americanized food. I've had authentic food in SF. There was something just a bit too standard. The decor seeming a little cookie cutter, although bright and inviting. I think being in a Mall setting dictates what drives your clientele/ business. The chicken, is so moist and

Yelp
Stopped by Rasa Sayang on my recent trip to Wilmington, and was excited to try Malaysian food for the first time. I decided to keep it pretty safe to start and order a curry. I tried the Chicken Potato Curry and while the flavors were good (although I wish I had asked for it to be a bit more spicy), what surprised me was how little chicken there was. Seriously thought I had been mistakenly given a vegetarian potato curry until I found a few pieces of chicken in the bottom of the container. I also thought the quantity of curry was very small (without the potatoes in it, the curry itself was almost not enough for one person). Because of this, I had to take away a few stars from my review. Maybe I should have tried something else from their menu, but I wasn't very impressed by the quantity and quality of the curry I received.

Yelp
Ordered take out from here and the curry I ordered was great! Packed with flavor and decent size portion for the price. The wings were ok, don't think I'd order that again. Safe to say I'll Ben back though to order more food from here when I need crave Thai/Malaysian food.

Theresa L.

Yelp
Had the pad Thai which was fresh spicy and delicious. Very nice staff and would like to go back to try the sushi

Yelp
Ate here & the food was not that great. Very small portions for the money & we found the staff to be rude & not accommodating. Once was enough to say we'd never return. They never seem to have a crowd & now I understand.

Yelp
Came in on a Thursday night around 8pm. The server was pleasant but a little short with us because the kitchen closes at 8:30. I felt a little rushed to make a decision and since it was my first time there I did need a moment to look everything over. I decided on the crab fried rice and a sweet potato roll. The rice was plentiful and a little on the spicy side which I liked. The sweet potato rolls were on the smallish side but still very tasty. The food is great. The service is subpar. We felt like they just wanted us to hurry up already throughout the entire meal. Not sure if I would see a difference if I decided to head there for lunch. This place could serve as a great takeout option though.

Yelp
They've moved to this location in summer of 2021.. nice new brightly lit place with a nice bar area.. the server was very nice and friendly! And the food was good as usual. Got the Thai basil chicken with white rice. One of the noodles. Thai chicken wings and pork fried dumplings. Husband had 1 beer. Paid $50 before tip in total.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant today around 2pm. The restaurant was empty, with no patrons there. I brought my coffee with me that I purchased at another establishment and was told this is not acceptable there. Not fully understanding how they feel this is so intrusive of dining in the restaurant when they CLEARLY have no clientele. I guess me having my own beverage of choice was disrespecting them, however that was not my motive. I had coffee at this restaurant, in the past, and it was horrible to me. The rudeness and lack of making themselves attentive to diners is so "unacceptable" to me that I will never return there. How this place stays in business is a mystery to me. They lost my business, and also my family's business in the future. NOT a way to run an eating establishment !!!! Don't see this place lasting very long at the mall.......

Yelp
We went on a Saturday during the afternoon. Wasn't super busy, plenty of seating. Really nice ambiance and bar. We ordered a few starters and some noodles. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect but I must say the food was excellent. Service was quick and the waitress was nice.... so we thought. After we paid our bill the waitress gathered the receipt , read it at the table and looked at my friend to say "only 10 for the tip my dear?" With a confused face. We were all taken by surprise! My friend didn't really know how to respond but still tried to give an explanation for her decision on how much she decided to TIP ! It was a very uncomfortable situation for the whole table. It's a shame because we were speaking so highly of what we thought would be our new spot. If you decide to eat here I would highly suggest just doing take-out.
google avatar

Renee Nicole L.

Yelp
Great food! Always consistent. Never a bad dish. The food here is so fresh you can tell its made daily to order. I've been eating here for the last few years sometimes I take it to go. Sometimes I eat inside. The place is always clean. The people that work here are very friendly. Prices are reasonable. The only thing I have not had yet is the sushi. But from what I hear it's very good.
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
Friendly and quick service. We went to pick up some food on a weekend and it was fairly quiet for a Saturday night. I think they're one of the few places nearby that offers ethnic food? We got their basil chicken, fried rice, Mee Siam noodles, and thai wings. They used great ingredients and were pretty good. However the dishes lacked much flavor that I would expect from a Malaysian/Thai restaurant like lemongrass, galangal, kaffir leaves, etc. I hope they tweak their recipes for more authentic flavors in thr future but until then, they're still a solid option if you're looking for an Asian meal out.

Yelp
Great Customer Service, Nice Ambiance & Tasty Food. Very attentive Customer Service. The presentation of good is really good

Yelp
Despite having a busy night, the hostess made a table available to us soon enough, the cocktails were on point , the food came within reasonable time and it was very tasty. For Wilmington this was the best value you can get for your money.
google avatar

Jenny X.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in 202. The mee Siam is delicious and you pick which protein you like. Service is quick and the staff is very friendly. Definitely try the roti with curry while dining in. It's not great for take out since the roti lose it's flakyness and crunch

Bobby M.

Yelp
Gave this place another try and so glad that I did. We ordered the roti canal, chow koay teow, which was my favorite, tastes like how I'd imagine street food there to be, and the Thai basil fried rice and the Tom yum soup with shrimp. Everything was great and felt very different from the first time I was there back at their old location. The new revamped look in the mall is spacious, clean and modern. Well decorated and has a big bar. This food is comparable to many of the great Malay and Thai joints I've been to. Big recommend
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Everything I've ordered there is awesome. My favorite is the lettuce wraps. The location is good too. It's in Concord mall so I can walk around after I enjoy the food.

J A.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff, welcoming restaurant with a great vibe. Really good green curry!

Diana D.

Yelp
My family has been coming to Rasa for years! The food is consistently delicious, never disappoints and the staff is so warm and friendly. Highly recommend for take out, dine in and especially large parties they serve us well every time 100 percent recommend Rasa!

Yelp
Service and ambiance were fine, but the food mediocre (not seasoned). We had the Pineapple Fried Rice, shrimp Thai Noodles, Wings and Roti. The wings and Roti were best. We'll season the leftovers at home.

Yelp
Delicious food, service, value, and they deliver through DoorDash! Can't go wrong with Rasa Sayang!

Yelp
Rasa Sayang recently got a beautiful new location (in Concord Mall, but with a door to enter the restaurant directly from outside) and an expanded menu to go with it, and both were excellent changes, but the food is still hit or miss. Their website advertises online ordering, but both times I've tried to use it, it's been down. However, they answer the phone quickly and typically can have your takeout ready in a 20-30 min timeframe. The menu is fairly extensive and boasts a variety of Malaysian and Thai dishes, and they recently added sushi. I really enjoy their curries; particularly, I loved the vegetable green curry I ordered recently that came packed with veggies (though no tofu --- not sure if it's because I didn't specifically request it) and flavor. I've tried a few sushi rolls so far, though their selection seems to cater to a more Americanized palate with a lot of cooked rolls (some more typical ingredients, like tempura shrimp, and some more unique options, like bacon or baked salmon). I tend to prefer more traditional sushi and opted for the spicy salmon roll, which I did really like, and the sweet potato and onion tempura, which was good but seemed like it needed an extra sauce to give it a little more flavor. I used to love their Thai basil noodles, which had been packed with peppers and onions in the past, but my recent order was predominantly greasy noodles with a handful of veggies that lacked in basil flavor (though was still fairly spicy!) Overall, a decent ethnic food option in the area, especially if you stick to the curries.

Yelp
Superb green curry chicken with white rice seated at the bar enjoying the WM Phoenix Open. High level of customer service as asked for Golf Channel and gentleman behind the counter searched on Verizon until channel was successfully located. Requested hot peppers to add to curry and was delighted with the result. Seems so simple to please customers with outstanding food and service but this is a lost art. Not here.

Dino C.

Yelp
Rating 2.5 * The first time I visited I ordered a dish that wasn't quite what i expected, so I requested a return. I was met with an extremely rude response, which i didn't appreciate. Apparently they were deeply insulted, but I read back the description of the dish and what was in front of me didn't match... Went a 2nd time and food was solid. The 3rd visit was met by a server with an attitude problem because we were ordering fountain drinks an she wouldn't get a big tip. One more bad experience, and I won't be returning. Here's a tip: CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PART OF THE DINING EXPERIENCE. If you don't treat people well when they frequent your restaurant... they will not return.

Yelp
A great lunch with an order of wasabi shumai, spicy tuna roll, eel and avocado roll, and pork with noodles. Yum. Sorry, I didn't get the appetizer pics because I ate the before I could snap a photo. The BBQ pork with the noodles were delicious. The waitress also supplied me with some hot pepper oil! Kick it up a notch.
google avatar

Lee C.

Yelp
Good Place for Malaysian/Southeast Asian fusion food. Their sushi is pretty good, but I have to say that the most impressive thing here is that they actually offer REAL Wasabi for $3. For those who don't know, virtually all "Wasabi" in America is just rehydrated horseradish powder dyed green. Here, however, you can actually get legit Wasabi root grated fresh for you for the extra money. I lived in Japan for a number of years and never had real Wasabi outside of Japan until I came here. Definite bonus points to this place for that.

Yelp
This fabulous place has moved from its old location and now is in Concord Mall. The food is as good as it ever was and the service is top notch. They have added sushi items to the menu which is very good as well. The bar is expanded and the space is very nice and inviting.

Yelp
Roti canai I highly recommend it. So yummy Fried wontons: so good as well Shrimps- rice noodle soup ,it was good for2 but it is nicely flavored and is spicy

Yelp
This place is pretty good!! And it's nice inside. Attached to the Concord Mall, it's very accessible off of 202 (Concord Pike). We went in for dinner on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't particularly busy. We were sat in a corner table, next to a window. The window viewed the inside of the mall. My 7 year old son was with us, they didn't have a children's menu. He ordered fried pork dumplings and a bowl of miso soup. We all had Thai teas. The Thai teas were pretty standard, I assume from a powder mix but we did enjoy them. I thought my sons miso soup was really good but he wasn't a fan of it. He did enjoy the fried dumplings. The dumplings had a nice char on them, but they were surprisingly moister than I expected them to be. On weeknights they have some happy hour specials, including a selection of 2 for $10 sushi rolls. I ordered a tom yum soup and 2 sushi rolls from the special. I decided on spicy tuna and spicy salmon. I really enjoyed the soup, it had a lot of flavor and some chopped tomato and 2 shrimp, a fine appetizer portion. My sushi was good, and my son enjoyed some as well. The crunchies were in the roll, rather than on top, but they still retained their crunchiness - which makes me happy. My husband did a curry, I don't remember which but he did seem to enjoy it a lot and brought home leftovers. Our server was really kind and she got us in and out super fast!

Yelp
My mom has been nagging me to take her here, so we finally got to go as a family this past weekend. While sitting at our table we observed a lot of people coming in to pick up take-out orders. Since I did not find the ambiance of Rasa Sayang to be particularly great, I would probably opt for take-out myself in the future. Our overall meal was good. There were some things that I liked more than others, but I left here very full. Here's a breakdown of what we ate: We got the roti canai for an appetizer and I quite enjoyed the chicken potato curry sauce that came with it. The pancake was a little bit sweet, and with the sauce, I thought everything balanced out well. Next time I would probably opted for a STUFFED pancake, rather than just the dough version. The spring rolls were crunchy and delicious and the dipping sauce was sweet and sour and overall a good pair with the rolls. I was, unfortunately, disappointed with the chicken satay. I can't 100% put my finger on what wasn't right with it, but the best I can say is that it seemed too greasy. Our table didn't finish the dish :( For my entree I got the Thai basil chicken noodles, and while it was good, it was not as spicy as I expected. I think I would have liked it more if it came with a side of spicy chili paste or something of a similar ilk. My husband enjoyed his green curry and found it to be sufficiently spicy. My mother quite enjoyed her mango chicken entree. I had a bite and it reminded me a lot of orange chicken. The portion sizes here are pretty decent. I don't think any of us finished 100% of our entrees. For dessert we got the exotic bomba ball (passion fruit, raspberry, and mango sorbets covered in a white chocolate pudding). It was very refreshing and we ate it all up. I am feeling dissonance on how to rate our service. I felt as if I was being watched the entire time I was there (by all servers and staff), and yet there were a couple of times when our waters or other beverages were empty and no one came over to ask if we wanted refills. At the end of the day, it was a good meal and we had decent service. The ambiance/decor leaves a bit to be desired, but that's why the take-out option is so appealing to me.

Yelp
The restaurant has expanded its offerings since moving into its current location and continues to serve great quality food. We always enjoy the roti canai (flaky pancakes with curry dipping sauce), tearing them up and dipping with gusto. The chicken sate is another tasty appetizer. While all the entrees are good, the Pad Thai and Rasa Sayang Curry Chicken are safe bets. The green curry is also a favorite. Service is good and the sushi specials are worth a visit for lunch. I heartily recommend this place.

Kelly F.

Yelp
This is a regular place in our takeout rotation. Green curry coconut chicken broth thing is always delicious. And basil noodle dish is my favorite. We've never eaten in, so don't know about staff and ambience but food is always very good

Yelp
This is a solid choice for Malaysian and Thai food. The price is right and the service is fast.

Yelp
I pick up here for lunch, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. In fact i would say it's priced like honeygrow, but more delicious and unique. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Wife is from Indonesia and she was feeling homesick one weekend. Colleagues from work recommended Rasa Sayang and what a great experience! We went on Labor Day weekend and the food experience made her very happy! We had the larb lettuce wraps, pad Thai, Singaporean noodle with char siu and my favorite, lychee iced drink. Looking forward to going back soon!

Heather L.

Yelp
The setting is pretty casual but the food is phenomenal. We ordered the red curry and pad Thai. Both had excellent flavor and texture and the shrimp was generous. We also ordered the Godzilla roll and a salmon avocado roll. The quality of everything was outstanding.

Yelp
Great food. Reasonable prices. Consistent over the years and moves. Will go back. In the future

Yelp
Enjoyed the new Rasa in the mall today! They are trying to spread customers out and were very clean! Enjoyed the Roti Cani, Mango Salad with fried chicken, Dumplings. The tuna sushi was okay. Picking up delivery looks easy and eating there at a quiet time was terrific for us!

Mel S.

Yelp
This place is anti children and insensitive to allergies. My toddler has a nut allergy and they would not let her eat a nut free sandwich there while we ordered and ate. They kept pushing us to order their dishes for her - but with a nut allergy none of their food would have worked given cross contamination. We walked away and will never go there.

Yelp
Ok, I grew up in Malaysia but currently reside in Baltimore. Finding a decent Malaysian food is ridiculously difficult... My husband and I drive for 1.5 hour (one-way) to get to Rasa Sayang in order to satisfy our Malaysian food craving, that's how desperate we are!!! When we first came here, we tested how authentic Rasa Sayang is by asking for "Chili Padi". Chili Padi is sometimes referred to as Bird's eye chili and is served mostly with Southeast Asian food. And guess what? They understood! OMG, IT WAS LEGIT, THEY PASSED MY TEST. We got Chow Kway Teow ($12), Malaysian Mee Goreng ($12) and Roti Canai ($6) - all very classic Malaysian dishes!!!! When I took a bite of Roti Canai, that crispiness brought tears to my eyes. Oh how much I missed that feeling *tears*. Chow Kway Teow was also delicious - my husband is really picky when it comes to his Chow Kway Teow but he said Rasa Sayang is pretty good because it has the "charred" flavor. Lastly, the Malaysian Mee Goreng did not disappoint us as well. The Malay style stir-fried egg noodles in dried squid sauce... oh my goodness, I was so happy to have such delightful food in my mouth. Later, as we were leaving, the owner stopped by our table and started talking to us. He is from Penang Island (which is where I am from!). No wonder the food at Rasa Sayang was legit. We will continue to commit to our 1.5 hour one-way drive in order to dine here again!

Brenna P.

Yelp
The food was amazing, my girlfriend and I got 2 apps, 2 entrees, drinks, and sauces for $43, the staff was super friendly and it had incredibly fast service, the pad thai was so good, I'd highly reccomend

Yelp
The Mango chicken salad was fresh and delicious, and the Roti Cannai was lovely with a chicken curry sauce for dipping. Service was friendly and helpful. This is a tentative review, b/c we asked for a couple of main dishes to have the spice toned down to accommodate our heat-adverse friend Dena. I believe that robbed us of much of their flavor. The Rasa Curry was more like an Indonesian peanut satay, and the Chay Koay Teow and String Bean Shrinp were both relatively flavorless. All three clearly had been de-spiced for Dena, but nothing was added to offset the flavor loss. The Chef's Sea Bass in a soy sauce was also flavorless, but it was not supposed to be spicy in the 1st place. The Leo beer (Thai) was nothing special, and would have better suited the meal if I'd had spicy food to put out with it. The jelly soy bean drink was like a funky cross of a Thai iced tea and a bubble tea. I'm interested in visiting Rasa Sayabg again to try it with the full spice experience.

Yelp
Overpriced. Food is mediocre. Service is ok. However, good does not come out hot. More like a fast food restaurant
google avatar

Hiba A.

Yelp
Got takeout, drunken noodles veggie, Thai ice tea and shrimp stir fry dish, which was neither bad nor good, and therefore pretty easy to forget. The Thai ice tea was probably the best thing we got. The noodles were good, but not reminiscent of most drunken noodles I've enjoyed, they were wide noodles but not your traditional broad noodles. I asked for the dish to be medium spicy and asked for chili oil on the side, if you like even the slightest heat ask for the oil. I would not drive to De to eat here, but if you're in the area, it's safe option. They appeared to be doing only takeout when I want after Christmas but before the new year.

Yelp
What a hidden gem of an establishment. The food was delish, so much so I only had time to snap a pic of my appetizer and not main course. Chicken satay was crazy good. Very tender and juicy meat and the sauce with it..... nuts. Perfect portion for an app. For my main dish I had pepper beef. I was very impressed. There was a good portion of meat to veggies and the sauce on it was nice and spicy but not too spicy that I had to sip water in between each bite. The food speaks for itself and my compliments go to the kitchen 100%. I was a little upset by the service. Just a caveat, this is my personal experience and opinion on what I noticed. I waked in, was greeted very bluntly and sat down quickly. I was asked what I wanted to drink and then what I wanted to eat. During my main course I was asked if the food is ok. Normally, I wouldn't batt an eye to this. However, the other patrons were treated better and I noticed something. Other patrons were a bit older. There are times I know I am treated somewhat different because I look like I'm in my mid 20's and have facial hair and have tattoos. It's understandable. It just doesn't run me right when I see it happen. Again, maybe it was the day. Thy was just my experience. I would 100% return for the food.

Yelp
This place is ooooooo soooo DELICIOUS.. I mean I can't believe how good the food is here. I found this place while in town on business via Yelp before heading to my hotel to call it a night. Rasa is nestled in a nice brick complex type of facility where you park in the middle and various buildings possessing the same beautiful brick exterior is located in which others also posses highly Stars in Yelp but this place caught my eye from the food pictures and reviews combined. I started with the naan (curry) and a specialty cocktail mojito and both blew me away. I sat at a booth in the window right at the door and the sever was prompt and very nice. After sipping and munching on my two starter items I was super excited to get to the next course which I was torn between the Red Snapper with Thai sauce, Sea Bass or the pineapple fried rice however my server tried to help but made it more complex by explained what was amazing about each item LOL... I ended up with the Snapper which was AMAZING. My server talked me into dessert as well and since it was on my business tab I was AGREED ;-) it was Soo GOOD.. This place is a MUST when in the area..
