A Walk Through Grandeur – Rashtrapati Bhavan Visit
My visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan was an inspiring journey into India’s rich history and democratic pride. As the official residence of the President of India, this grand structure stands as a symbol of power, heritage, and architectural brilliance. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, it beautifully blends Indian and Western styles with its iconic dome, massive pillars, and sprawling gardens.
Originally built as the Viceroy’s House during British rule, it became Rashtrapati Bhavan in 1950 after India became a republic. Spread across 330 acres, it houses 340+ rooms, majestic halls like the Durbar Hall, and the famous Amrit Udyan. Today, it serves as the heart of the Indian Republic — hosting national ceremonies, dignitaries, and now, welcoming visitors to witness its timeless beauty.
A truly unforgettable experience!
