Russian-Themed Nightclub Raspoutine Opens in West Hollywood - Eater LA

"In a fairly quick turnaround, Paris-based owners opened a club called Raspoutine in the former Villa Lounge on October 26. The Russian-themed nightclub is a striking contrast to the adjacent and blue Pacific Design Center, with red flowing from the carpet to the ceiling of this historic European club. First established in Paris in 1965, Raspoutine also has locations in Rome, Marrakesh, and Monaco. Each location takes on the same Russian theme, and attracted A-listers for decades, including the likes of Rita Hayworth, and more recently Jessica Biel. Unlike the European locations, the Los Angeles arm serves no food. It is a pure drinking destination with cocktails, vodka, and French champagne, and it all takes places on the corner of Huntley and Melrose. The 1,600 square foot split-level room oozes blood red walls and floors, banquettes, accented tables, plushy walls, with large matroshka dolls scattered throughout. Raspoutine is so dedicated to the Russian theme that a character from a Tolstoy novel might enter at any moment. Owners Alexander Ghislain and Logan Maggio took over the longstanding club in 2014, and started LA’s launch back in July this year. The former Villa Lounge closed in early 2018." - Mona Holmes

Always love coming here. Make sure you come looking sharp, cause they have a well dressed crowd and killer vibe. The music is always good and the sound system is really nice. Always a beautiful crowd and I was treated very well by all the staff and bar tenders.

Google
Had the best time there last Saturday night! Came around 11 and had no issue getting in. Obviously be mindful of the dress code as it’s so easy to look nice! The music had us all moving all night and the energy was very strong! Definitely will be back soon!

Alec Kondush

Google
Went there last Thursday with a crew! And was impressed with a quality of music and good looking people! Drinks were delicious too! Definitely will come back!

Google
Love going to this venue with my girlfriends, it’s always a vibe there. 🥰 easy access to the bar, not too crowded for me personally, and the space has very cute decorations. My fav days to go are Friday/Saturday, depending on the lineup. Special shout out to my fav bartenders and the all staff, they are always very sweet to me and my friends

Ruby Bond

Google
The place pretends to be upscale, but everything felt cheap and sleazy. The door staff was ridiculously fake posh—condescending with zero real hospitality. You can tell they care more about appearances than actually making guests feel welcome. Total disappointment. Would not recommend.

Google
Music was solid, and the vibe is undoubtedly boutique and stylish. The crowds get dense quickly, intimate but can feel cramped. Service and overall experience are a bit inconsistent. In short, music is good, crowded so-so, and place okay.

Google
Best place to go out in Los Angeles! The atmosphere is amazing. They bring in the best DJs to perform. The GM Kevin is running the place to a tee and Johan is the man inside taking care of everyone! They offer bottle service and even opened the upstairs again which is nice. Jean at the bar is super friendly and a fast bartender. I love coming here to dance with friends! Opened 3 nights a week Thursday-Saturday. Also Patrick at the door is great. Just make sure you’re dressed up properly to make his life easier. No regular shirts, shorts or basketball shoes for guys and ladies wear a dress or something nice to go out in to make sure you aren’t denied at the door. Definitely stop by for an epic night out!

Best venue in LA! Always a great time ! Love the Parisian chic design ! Music is always great and vibes are unmatched!

Yelp
First of all, I can see what people are saying about the bald bouncer who runs the door- he confused me as I walked up last Saturday night by asking what I was doing there- but eventually just checked my ID and let me in so I could join my friend inside. The ambiance and crowd are super energetic and fun, the bartenders were very quick and friendly. The BEST part about this place is the music. The DJs are amazing, all I wanted to do was dance. Only a handful of people felt the same, as the majority of the club was standing by the bar or sitting/standing and chatting at their tables enjoying bottle service (fun too). It's Hollywood so there were a few people who come off snobby, but overall, you can feel that people are there to have a great time. There's a bathroom downstairs and upstairs which luckily never had too long of a line. Only complaint about the place was that while leaving the restroom through the small hallway, the bottle service crew was trying to get through and one of the indoor security guards shoved me super hard from behind instead of saying "excuse me" or motioning me to move. Luckily, I got back to the great vibes and the music and still had an amazing night. I can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
so that's sad that your "face-control" doesn't know anything in brands and not allowing people who are ready to spend some money to visit your seems like cool place Also I saw the girls who were frizzing outside after 10:30 (it was still closed) Anyway thank you for such great experience, good luck

Yelp
Will never bother with this trash hole again. Why? 1. Rude AF doormen who are creepy; 2. They won't let you in right away EVEN when you have a table you've paid for!! 3. Old crowd. Like, ancient. Lots of grey hair and balding men. Probably you'd find it exciting and get excited because.. lasers! Cool! if you were, like 40 years old...and had a lot of Botox/face work. 4. Several young women walked out and said to us "We didn't feel safe in there" and they went to another club. (So did we!) 5. Smells like bad old man euro cologne. Yuck. 6. It's one of those lame clubs where they think they're being "discerning" but really it's just bad attitude and vibe-killing fakery. 7. SO MANY great clubs in LA to choose from...this is not one of them!

Yelp
My recent visit to this nightclub was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I approached the entrance, I was met with the disdainful glare of the bald doorman, Pat, whose lack of hair seemed to correlate with his complete lack of manners and decency. His attitude was not only disrespectful but also alarmingly racist. As a person of color, I felt targeted and unwelcome from the outset. Despite attempting to maintain a positive attitude, I was continually subjected to the doorman's abrasive behavior. His disdainful remarks and dismissive gestures left me feeling humiliated and uncomfortable. It's truly disheartening to encounter such blatant bigotry in a supposedly inclusive environment. Moreover, the nightclub itself failed to live up to even the most basic expectations. The atmosphere was stale and It's evident that the management prioritizes fostering a toxic environment over providing an enjoyable experience for their patrons. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Not only does it condone and perpetuate racism through its practices which is clear given the many other reviews of people who have expirenced the same thing but it also fails to deliver on its promise of providing a fun and welcoming nightlife experience. Save yourself the trouble and seek entertainment elsewhere. I would personally give this place 0 stars if I could however the DJ was awesome so that's where I'm okay with leaving 1 star for that.

Yelp
No line at 11:30pm on a Friday but still only letting people in if they purchase a table is just poor business. Been here before and neither the vibe nor drinks support any type of exclusivity. Lame
google avatar

Rose L.

Yelp
We went to Raspoutine after my bridal shower and had a blast! Pat at the door was so sweet and congratulated me as soon as I walked up. He had Yohan escort me and my friends in and sat us at a table. They surprised us with glasses of champagne and a sparkler to help me celebrate my big day! Later in the evening they brought us shots when my fiancé came to celebrate with us. Yohan went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing night. The music was great, everyone was dancing on the dance floor! Thank you Pat and Yohan for ending my incredible day on such a fun note!

Deeter K.

Yelp
While we were waiting in line the bald doorman asked the guy in front of us if he wanted to go in and said he probably would need to lift weights if he wanted to gain admittance at the very least. This is not for your average person who wants to hang out at a cool bar.
google avatar

Trica D.

Yelp
I had the worst experience ever!!! These people are very rasist. If you are not Russian you cannot get in without a reservation. All the losers got in because they talked with the bodyguards in them language. We were 3 good looking girls with money to spend and they treated us like nobody. They accepted only their people with no reservation and no money for a water even. Shame on them!

Nicole S.

Yelp
Raspoutine is my favorite spot to go out in LA! The vibe is always good, with cool people and great music. Yohan at the door is super sweet and hooked my friends and me up with champagne. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Let me preface this by saying that i understand how this place may be fun with a group and a table with bottle service. But as a couple of people walking in without a table this place makes no sense . Its TINY dont let the photos fool you, all the seating is for bottle service . Its beautiful inside and the staff seemed nice enough. My biggest issue was that we stayed for one round of drinks and the check had a "restaurant fee" of $7 and some change . This threw me off so i asked the bartender if this was considered a service which they got to keep as a tip. She said no they dont keep them . So i asked what it was for ? And with a genuinely confused look she said "i dont know" . wtf is this fee if your own employees dont know ? For that reason alone i would say stay away. For a similar ambiance and a bigger dance floor just go to members.

Blake W.

Yelp
Place is a vibe. Good deep house and techno. Has table service and you can go to the bar. Door man is cool

Sam T.

Yelp
Had a table and the tall bald man running the door, was giving us a hard time, letting us in. First he was claiming no name existed on the table, then was claiming the owner of the table needs to come down Kevin: The manager said everybody has to check in together. If you are getting a table, you should be aware of this. They only allow 4-6 people on the tables Horrible staff, do better
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
So the club is great even though the one in Paris is better. Music is decent maybe a bit too dark and techno sometimes. However they have to do something about the tall bald guy running door. Trying to scam people for money and racial abuse. NOT A GOOD LOOK AT ALL Next time is doing this we are recording him and filling a lawsuit
google avatar

Karoline K.

Yelp
This place is bumping. Love the vibe. Great people, great music, beautiful men and women what more can you ask for? There are always idiots trying to squeeze past the the bouncers, but they do a great job at keeping out the trash - love the British guy in particular. Very dry. Very picky. Exactly what you need to keep a venue exclusive. Only thing I would change is the wait time. I think they keep you waiting sometimes just to fill up the venue and LA in the winter is cold - especially in a dress. Other than that, had a great time and I'll be back for sure!

Meelad A.

Yelp
Tried to go in but obviously the tall fellow from the UK was rude and said it was table or guest list only. Completely understandable that these "posh" places in Weho/Hollywood want the ratio of girls to guys to be on point. But what good does it when people wanna actually come for the music. Would give this no stars if I could. Wanted to see Shahar spin ‍. Def doesn't deserve stars.

Yelp
The fist time I stepped into Raspoutine, I felt like I was back in NYC! This venue has a red velvet theatrical ambiance with superb customer service. The way your server cools the big bubble champagne glass with ice before serving you is magnificent and memorable. This is the best Deep House Music venue in WeHo! Featuring phenomenal DJ's like Gioia Mia, Sam Baroni & TESSLA. You must be elegant and dress with class to get passed the velvet rope.

Lilit B.

Yelp
The condescending doorman assumed my gender and said "for three dudes you have to get a table for a minimum of $800" last night. This did not apply to other guests and also the customer service team told me that the table was not required but recommended hours before my arrival. I drove 1.5 hours to get there for them to pull that.

Bob G.

Yelp
Great night, banging tunes. Staff were great! Good for tourists and natives! Enjoy! I recommend

Inga K.

Yelp
Great night club with very nice people. Magic atmosphere. The best DJ in the town . Amazing . Can't wait to go there again. My favourite place !
google avatar

Kathy A.

Yelp
The staff is phenomenal east entrance and awesome sound. I was lucky my friend was the dj this night and I felt like the ambiance was perfekt and the parking os 2 hours long which is truly all I needed before a workday.. you can always add more tho and the decor is very soirée pretty ! I would def come back it's a hot spot and I wish I knew about it earlier on.. might even have my bday party here ! The red lighting is the district you want to be in and on lol

Yelp
Always a great time and very different to your average LA spot, very euro feel and a great atmosphere. Staff are great, from servers to doormen, Patrick at the front door is super nice and respectful. If you're looking for something different in LA check it out!

Mackenzie W.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting manager named Yohan whose service is horrible! He asked if we were going to buy a bottle and if we couldn't we couldn't be let in! We were celebrating our engagement I can't believe we were not let in. I would not recommend, this is the type of behavior that LA is known for and it's sad. Please don't get service to them.

Ali D.

Yelp
Thank you Yohan for making this night special. I really appreciate his professionalism and attitude. This places VIBES!

Margaret M.

Yelp
I love this place! I've spent some of the best albeit blurry nights in this lovely red velvet wonderland. The British door guy, Patrick, is an absolute charmer & so accommodating. Will be back very soon!!

Yelp
Booked a table for a friend's birthday here last week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The music and ambience is the best I've experienced in LA for a long time - just really good vibes. From the impeccably dressed doorman to the attentive servers the club is run like a fun loving family. We loved it!
google avatar

Sabastian K.

Yelp
nothing much else to say. Be better. Stay away. Go to catch, or EP & LP, or even Urth cafe. You don't want to be around these people.

Moummar N.

Yelp
Such a waste of real estate. Poor excuse for a club, they try to rip you off you are better off staying at home
google avatar

Gavin Q.

Yelp
Great little spot. Nice atmosphere, good crowd/music. Cool staff. Pleasant door staff. English bald guy had some good chat about him. Hidden gem in West Hollywood.

Yelp
The quick version: Comes off as a cool-looking joint but the service, demeanor, and professionalism for the price you're paying fall incredibly short of being even remotely adequate. Full Version: A buddy and I were wanting a night out and I love hitting up speakeasy-type establishments or creative bars in the Hollywood area. Saw Raspoutine and thought, "Looks great, let's check it out". We arrived and informed them that we wanted to buy bottle service and we were walked to our table and greeted by the manager Yohan, who initially came off as very nice and welcoming (this would change). Immediately after being seated and choosing our first bottle (we bought two), one of the workers told my buddy that he had to remove his hat as they weren't allowed in the establishment. We were fairly dressed up otherwise and it wasn't an eyesore but I digress, people will differ in how they feel about dress code requirements. The night went fairly well for the most part as we were socializing with the mixed crowd which is generally older gentlemen and younger women. That seems to be the general vibe of the location. Anyhow, after we bought the second bottle (as the prices listed on the menu seemed reasonable - however we were not handed the menu, it was merely flashed in our face and a flashlight shown on the bottles alone - not any fine print listed very discreetly on an odd part of the menu, which we'd have seen if we were able to hold the menu ourselves. I can't help but think there was a reason for this given the following information.) we requested the check. To our surprise, there was an astronomical house fee along with included gratuity, neither of which was mentioned beforehand. Side note, I have general issues with bottle service pricing around LA always including a 20% gratuity but that is what it is. However, you don't usually see a large house fee at all establishments. Anyhow, we paid of course but felt as though the gratuity was more than sufficient. They weren't very attentive to the tables, the crowd wasn't crazy, service was fairly standard compared to other establishments if not a bit less attentive. Now, this is where it gets interesting. The server immediately started becoming confrontational at no additional tip be included (mind you it was already on the tab - standard in the area) and I politely explained my reasoning for leaving it at the 20%, which I feel as though I shouldn't even have to do in the first place. Anyhow, we left and before grabbing an uber I realized I hadn't taken a copy of the receipt, which I always take along with me or snag a picture, so I went to knock on the door to ask for the copy right quick. The doorman slams the door in my face, and this was immediately after just leaving the establishment. Then Yohan (the manager) comes out to give me the receipt but proceeded to try and negotiate an additional tip than what was already included. Literally followed me to our uber with his Venmo account open on his phone continuously grilling me for more money than we already just spent in that location (well over $1k). I've never seen anything like it to be honest. I'll end this with a quick reminder that 1. tip was included, and 2. service was sub-par in the first place. There was no reason to chase guests to their vehicles while leaving and demanding more money. Insane to me, and will not return. The place has potential but the management is its ultimate downfall. If you're going for bottle service, don't. If you're going for a couple of drinks .... use your best judgment. Best of luck Yelpers.

Yelp
Really sexy, red interior with hip-hop and house beats. It's small and intimate with a fantastic VIP lounge upstairs, complete with mirrored ceilings. Table service was friendly and attentive. I loved that they burned incense throughout the night. Lot's of woman on the night I was there, so guys...this may be your spot!
google avatar

Rafael C.

Yelp
Such a great time and set up! Amazing set up, bartender where friendly. Amazing Vive and performances. I see a lot of reviews that are bad here, just because you didn't get in... Is sad people go out of the way to put up bad reviews. You have to understand this is a private lounge and no everyone can get in. Is a specific crowd they are looking for. Not just anyone who shows up. I had amazing time and the whole staff was super cool! Special thanks to Kaya for inviting us!
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Most rude club experience I have ever had. Would not recommend. I thought we left toxic club culture back in the early 2000's.
google avatar

Shan S.

Yelp
Don't even bother going here. The bouncers racially profile and reject anyone who isn't white passing. Literally saw throngs of white people go in without problems then the brown people get rejected for no reason other than "not having a table"
google avatar

George N.

Yelp
Terrible experience here, and I'll never go back. I was invited to this place by a female friend who was performing for an event that night. She said she'd put me on the guest list. Door guy Julius says I'm not on the list. He says I have to wait because there's too many guys inside, and they need more girls to show up. I can understand how that'd be a problem, but then he proceeds to let in every single other group that walks up, most with more dudes than ladies. I suspect the guy is probably racist, as I see many other reviewers mention the same thing. I also see they fat shamed a girl and wanted to charge her $3500 to get in. Look, if your club has a problem attracting ladies, you may want to not piss off the few females who do work there. Karma is a bitch. The behavior of the doorman is despicable.

Danielle F.

Yelp
Great night last week and sick beats. Can't wait to go back again. Can definitely recommend.

Denice P.

Yelp
Love Raspoutine, amazing music feels like a European holiday from LA. The door is strict, like all exclusive LA venues. The tall Brit at the door, does an amazing job of curating the crowd, he has always been polite and courteous, just don't go too late.

Maxim G.

Yelp
Rude stuff, service is bad. Very bad experience which is sad cause the place is nice

Anon _.

Yelp
I walked up to Raspoutine for the first time looking to see what the inside looked like as I had seen the venue while walking by previously in the week. As I approached I watched the bouncers let several girls into the club without checking IDs. Once I got up to the front I was told by the person running the front of the club that I wouldn't be allowed inside. At this point I questioned why, and was told it was due to what I was wearing. (a vintage tee, joggers, and jordans) I was confused by this especially when I saw a person leaving the venue dressed exactly the same as me, and asked again why they wouldn't let me in, and was told by the person in the front racial and sexually discriminate slurs. It's unfortunate that the city of West Hollywood allows a venue like this to operate especially when they openly discriminate against race and sexual orientation. I hope they shut this place down and make room for a place that has equal treatment. Update: the guy at the door who racially profiled me and my friend and also didn't check the several young girls' IDs was named Henri Binje. His Instagram is @henribinje and I'm attaching a screenshot of it below.
google avatar

Kirstine D.

Yelp
BIG YIKES. It's not even the waiting that's the most terrible part (which was absolutely terrible - all the other negative reviews mentioning the wait experience are accurate), but the already tiny space inside isn't managed well. If you're going to spend your money on a table, it's not worth it - your money is worth more on a table at literally any other place. The music sucks (trying to find a better word than "sucks" but "sucks" perfectly describes it). I would have rather waited one more hour in line somewhere else to have better ambiance and management. And I hate waiting in line so that's saying something.

Peter W.

Yelp
Always an amazing time, always look forward to seeing Pat on the door, makes everything professional and easy when I bring in VIP clients.
google avatar

Pari S.

Yelp
First time here. Had no problem getting in around 10:45pm (we were 3 girls) and there was no line. It was refreshing to finally find a club that plays house music. Great DJ, hard not to dance. It's very posh inside. It's very small so it got crowded quickly. I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't let anyone upstairs to create some room. It was hard to dance without bumping into people constantly. Almost claustrophobic in there. Very typical "LA/Hollywood" crowd.
google avatar

Trevor B.

Yelp
I have had an incredibly alarming and unjust experience at this place. I came accompanied by one taller slender girl and one heavier set girl. I was told there was no capacity for my heavier set friend. After a small discussion they they "compromised" with us and generously offered us entrance with a fee of $3500!! I left completely appalled and furious. This establishment should be completely ashamed of themselves.

Yelp
Oh boy....I know why do I keep forgetting my lesson with these trashy and poorly managed lounges and clubs in LA ?? Location: Raspoutine is located on the corner Melrose and Huntley. It stands out with its bold exterior its Known for in Paris and in Rome. Experience: To be honest I had no idea it was even Raspoutine because I have been to the one in Paris and in Rome and had the best time. I am shocked to know this location unfortunately shares the umbrella with those two amazing venues. The doorman's name is Brennan and he is one nasty fellow (which I honestly didn't know until the end of the night) Always with these clubs and hiring the worst kinds. My friend and I were behind our group who were coming in for a party. We got to the door and let him know we were with our group and he said to hold one moment...no problem! We stand outside for a total of 45 min all the meanwhile everyone else who walks to the door is allowed entry. Finally the doorman Brennan tells my friend he can go in but when asked why I can't go in he starts getting angry. My friend goes in to get the key because I just want to go home but comes out again to ask why I'm not allowed in. Brennan at this point is now having a full on temper tantrum. I tell you why would you hire an unstable being like that for your venue? Especially for such a simple question. Anyways an hour passes now and I can't leave without my group so I'm left to wait outside. Finally the "gatekeeper"; an awkwardly built short, bald man with oversized glasses comes out and I approach him politely asking why I wasn't allowed to come in. He simply looks at me and says, "Ugh you are still here? Fine go in we are closing anyways" When I go inside and try to ask him his meaning he shields his face from view with the sliding door and says "Don't talk to me go inside or don't it's closing anyways". I'm lost for words. Being as I have done nothing wrong and stood silently outside waiting for my group. Should I be surprised? The disgusting reality of the nightlife world in LA. What shocked me the most was now that my group was outside and they themselves wanted to know why I wasn't allowed in (I definitely thought it had to be the race card) Brennan said it was because I was giving him attitude. Which is funny considering my friend who was cursing, and agitated was allowed in but myself who was calm and stood patiently was denied entry. Then he continued with how can it be the race card if the security men are black. (At this point I was livid) When has the race of the staff had any merit on the racial standards that management like to uphold for their patrons?(ahem Argyle) Anyways I would not recommend this place. The doorman needs psychological help and the awkward man with the oversized glasses needs to go to Raspoutine in Paris and see how class is done. Will this place last? I highly doubt it. The location is poor for nightlife considering the much better options so nearby, the management is horrendous and the doorman... well he said he has his own security company...I would not hire him for business and you probably shouldn't either if you care about ROI.

Emily R.

Yelp
I felt inclined to ask our bottle girl her name, it's Erica- she is the only bottle girl I have ever asked that question to and it's because she made my and everyone else's experience amazing. She looked great. Beautiful outfit and very put together and she made me a drink and made sure I actually liked it because I said I was picky. She should honestly be promoted if that's possible

Yasi Z.

Yelp
Let me begin by saying I'm shocked by the one star reviews. I am assuming those reviews are written by folks who didn't make it inside. The space is intimate ... Perhaps that is why they have a STRICT and SELECTIVE guest list. I'v lived in Los Angeles many years and always wondered why LA is Lacking a nice European spot with house music and a nice ambience (I don't know if anyone remembers but this place used to be Monroes back in the days...it was fun then too but a very different vibe). These guys bring some of the Top Djs around. ( both local and international, Arodes, Ray Kash, The kimonos, Gioia Mia to name a few ). Service is always great and The few gentlemen that run the show definitely know what are doing. Though my original fav has been RP Paris, LA location topped it after I celebrated my BD here in 2020. This place never disappoints. If you appreciate great service and house music (not to mention the fab sound quality ) you will enjoy the vibe.

Yelp
Came in here with a table reservation. LOLOLOL. What an awful place. Door guys were cool. Music is awful. There's MAYBE 300 sqft of room, most studios in LA are about twice as big as this place. Usually that's not a bad thing but they let hundreds of people in so it's incredible cramped. Music is a cringeworthy mixture of top 100 euro dance hits. Was hanging around the bar and decided just to grab a couple drinks instead of walking across the room to grab some from the table. Stood there looking at the bartender for a good 10 minutes. The dude kept looking at me and looking past me. He was racist enough to just dance with his hands up in the air looking right through me lololol. Dude, ANTONIO, YOU ARE A BARTENDER. TEND THE BAR, IT'S YOUR JOB. JOB. THAT'S RIGHT. YOU AREN'T ANTONIO BANDERAS, YOU STILL NEED A JOB TO SURVIVE LIKE THE REST OF US. DON'T GET CAUGHT UP WITH YOURSELF. YOU'RE NOT BETTER THAN ANYONE. 95% of the people in here are with a table so it only takes a minute to get a drink if you want to get one from the bar which is tucked into the corner. I'm making this point bc I don't want anyone to think he was busy taking other peoples drink orders. All credit to the female bartender, she looked over a few times and I think after the 4th time looking over, seemed like she knew what was going on because she had a sympathetically face when she came over. She got in front of the dancing idiot next to her and asked what she could get me. Two gin and tonics were $39.42 (about $20 a drink) and I tipped $10 on that for the girl. They will show up as Kin Los Angeles on your CC statement. Zero stars if I could. Going to go back and get a photo of this dude.

I had a very bad experience . I called on thursday to find out if i can come in , some one tailed me -"yes" . when i got into the club , people at the door say me " NO way , no how " i was asking just to see the place , they say " not possible " other people came without reservation ,did get in .What a discremenation ! On the Qestion " How to make reservation ?" They say : " Don't know ". Don't waste your time going there!

Yelp
I just love this place! Even more after deserting the LA club scene which was lacking originality. RASPOUTINE is bringing sexy back with loud deep commercial house music and red velvet all over! I just celebrated my 35th with 10 of my friends and all of us left the place annoyed that it has to close so early! Table service was on point, the manager Thomas was super friendly and easy going. 2 hostesses took care of us all night long and it was just awesome and good vibes only. I had a blast as well as all my crew, highly recommended! I actually recommend their Thursday night which I just discovered too. Burlesque theme, good music.

Yelp
ZERO STARS. This is the worst "club" in Los Angeles. Incredibly rude staff and nasty venue. Our friends purchased bottle service at a table. We showed up 5 min after they went in, while there was no line, and they said we were not allowed because we were not on the list. BUT WE WERE ON THE LIST. The promoter and person who sold us the table came outside to grab us and called for us to come inside. They door guy refused. Then when our friend came outside to see what was going on he physically pushed her backside and wouldn't let her leave. Do not go here, it was completely empty inside and totally gross. Looking forward to this place going out of business, terrible club. Don't waste your time and money.
