Went here with two of my buddies. Ordered everything on the menu. Every single dish was phenomenal. Amazing flavours and meticulous presentation. They even have desserts that are not on the menu so you gotta ask your server. Cocktails are great too, I think their bartender is a mixologist. Excellent service as well. Will be going again soon. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an amazing experience here, like nothing I've ever had before. There were so many flavors in each dish and we ordered a perfect amount. Chef Joseph's Risotto was spectacular, it really hit it out of the park for us. We found all the staff to be super friendly and knowledgeable on every dish. Definitely an experience I won't forget.

I came here last week with my family and had an absolutely wonderful time! We got cocktails to start and they were some of the best cocktails I've ever had. We also had wine with our dinner and they have a comprehensive wine selection. The food was very creative and delicious, we tried most of the menu. We especially loved the boar and the risotto. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous and the rooftop was very pretty. All in all, a great evening! We would definitely come back!

I came here for a little celebration dinner and didn’t realize it was a Michelin guide recommended restaurant! Upon arrival, I fell in love with the decor and ambiance. The wooden furniture, the industrial lights, terrariums and candles on every table and the restaurant had no music. There were probably three other tables and a lady at the bar. It wasn’t too busy for a Saturday night. You get a QR code for the menu and cocktails. Our server also happened to be the bartender and oh boy, he made some killer cocktails. If you’re into fruitier cocktails, I highly recommend the miso cosmo and the hibiscus watermelon margarita. Near the end of the dinner, I also tried a new cocktail (not on the menu) - it was a chrysanthemum mezcal margarita, it’s more on the smoky side. I like it and I love the effort and creativity placed in every drink. We ordered a la carte (thank goodness) because we were starving. If you order the 6 or 10-course tasting menu, you’re looking at staying at the restaurant for the 2.5 hours/3 hours experience. We didn’t have time for that. $80 extra for wine pairings. If it’s your first time here, I highly recommend ordering a la carte so you know what to expect from their cuisine. Portions are small but very delicious. The chef himself came out and explained every dish to us, which I always appreciate. We ordered the beef tartare, beet salad for appetizers and the risotto and the lake erie pickerel for the mains. The dessert was an apple cider vinegar lavender maple pie, also a killer dessert, I just wish the portion was bigger because it was so damn good. I feel like each dish is more tapa style and more for sharing. Their portions aren’t meant to fill you up and quite honestly, we left the restaurant 60% full. 5 dishes and 3 cocktails came up to $185. It’s steep but we had a great time. The cocktails really made our dinner experience!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. My girlfriend and I went here for the pre-set dinner and it was one of the best dining experiences I've been to in Toronto. The dishes were incredibly creative and inventive and, most importantly, delicious. The staff were passionate and did an amazing job of explaining every dish and making recommendations on wine/cocktails. It's obvious why this place made it onto the Michelin Guide.

This is my third time and definitely won't be my last. I love everything at Ration. The staffs are all friendly and super nice. The execution of the food is just phenomenal. The presentation and the size is just perfect. The cocktails are so yummy. I strongly recommend this place if you want good food. 👍

Fantastic experimental cocktails with such fragrance and garnish! Very helpful waiter who explained all the menu items. Very graciously sat us on the rooftop on short notice. We were drawn to the place for the lovely roadside patio and the swanky interior, but we're quite happy with our rooftop view; arguably warmer with the sunset and quieter without traffic. Drawback is there is no elevator so you will be THIRSTY by the time you get up there.

Today I had the most wonderful meal at Ration Beverly. Started with jalapeño peach , ginger lemon, pear thyme and strawberry mimosas. Shared several brunch dishes, all excellent in preparation and presentation. We ended our meal with perfect cappuccinos. We enjoyed a wonderful leisurely brunch in the capable hands of Ration Beverly’s staff.

Came by for dinner the other night and it was a world class experience. Ration Beverley is located inside a hotel and is featured inside the Michelin guide. Made a reservation for dinner and our table was ready upon arrival. There were merely a couple of tables during our visit. During the booking process, there is an option to pay a surcharge for a specific table inside the dining room. Opted for the 2.5 hour 10 course tasting menu in the dining room where the air conditioning was limited. Our waiter Kevin ended up being our dedicated waiter throughout the evening and was hospitable. Started off with the scallops cource and it was a nice portion of scallops crudo topped with some super fresh and lightly fermented vegetables. Moved on to the tomatoes course and the flavors and textures all complemented the course well, especially with the tofu puree on the bottom. The grits course was quite tasty. This course was very light and tasty, topped with some pumpkin seeds for texture along with some okra for contrast. The carrots course was super unique. Fresh and flavorful carrots topped with some super tasty pesto, which was a touch on the saltier side. I think the sourdough bread may have been one of the highlights of the meal. Super light and refreshing soudough that was light and tasty. The risotto course came with generous portions and I had trouble finishing this. Flavors were on point. The branzino course was great with crispy skin on the branzino contrasting with a moist interior. The side of vegetables were great. The main entree was a ribeye which came out towards a medium. The side of mashed potatoes were light and tasty. The pre-dessert was on the sweeter side and I was super full to finish the dessert which was also a touch on the sweet side. ~$190/head after tax and gratuity for dinner.

This is an adorable resto along Queen west! The food here was great, cute and casual ambiance, and service is very nice! The restaurant is fairly new and it is all about sustainability - all of the ingredients are sourced locally with zero waste principles applied to the preparation. They ferment and cure the food and even have a food lab in the basement where they experiment with different dishes and methods. There are tasting menus and a la carte options - we went for a la carte options and tried out a number of different dishes. Highlights for me were the beef tartare, brussel sprouts, pickerel, and lamb. That said, every dish was really tasty, and the sauces and accompaniments were well paired. It was fairly empty for a Saturday evening which was surprising to me given how good the food was! Highly recommend a visit before the city catches on!

Cute little restaurant in the Beverly Hotel! Visited on a weekend for brunch and ordered mimosas and mushroom toast for myself. Out of their mimosa options, the elderberry one was my favourite. The mushroom toast was really tasty as well but wish portions were a big bigger. All in all, very vibey restaurant with delicious food and great service. I'd love to try to their dinner menu next time!

Hands down... food, service, drinks, vibe, Ration hit all the spots for us when we dined their for their valentines day. Really unique spins on dishes, example is the beet risotto, my mouth is watering just thinking back to this (purple dish in my photos). French onion soup was really good and presentation is nothing like we've ever experienced. The dry age steak was also incredible. I can see why they've made the Michelin Gourmand list. We'll definitely be back to check out what other creations they can come up with!

Cute restaurant. We tried their tasting menu. It was a nice range of what they served. My favourite dish was their risotto dish. My least favourite dish was the dessert, in fact, I enjoyed the palette cleanser more than the dessert, which I did not finish. We had a variety of veggie and non-veggie dishes. The mushroom main was not impressive unfortunately. We had Great service and would recommend going but perhaps choosing your own dishes.

This Restaurant -Bar-Lounge is in The Beverly Hotel. They took the space of the Lobby-Shop at the front and the back which was Charlotte, a Tapas Bar with some Mexican dishes. Spencer was my server on this occasion. I went for drinks & light fare after the Ballet. I was provided with a nice cozy little table away from the door, and facing the restaurant. Lighthall Vineyards 'Progression Sparkling wine was refreshing and the Slider tasty, delicious. To cap the delicious repast a strong Espresso.

An amazing set-menu dinner with near perfection service and accompanying dishes. Definitely, a must go-to restaurant. It was our second visit to this restaurant and we were amazed both times by the quality of the food. We were quickly seated to our table and our waiter provided excellent service. The recommended wine was amazing. As for the food, you can't go wrong. Everything on the set menu list tastes delicious and fresh. The best part was the main. We didn't care much for the desert and it could be better but overall excellent food and we will definitely return.

Was very fortunate to get invited to a tasting menu night with friends! I've had drinks on their rooftop bar before but never tried their food. It was an experience! Our server was very knowledgeable and passionate. She explained each dish, it's provenance, and any special twists the chef added to the preparation of the dish. It was such a diverse number of flavors that focused on sustainable, locally sourced, and zero waste food. Everything was made with such care. The downside to a tasting menu is if you really like something, it's gone before you know it! I think that makes it more precious in the moment. Standouts from this night were (and I can't describe as eloquently as our server): sous vide salmon, miso focaccia bread, raspberry apple cider palette cleanser, dry aged steak, focaccica bread ice cream

I came to this restaurant because I was attending a Sunday brunch event. I was so glad that I got a chance to dine here! It's a hidden gem in the city! This place was quite small but cozy (it could fit around 25-30 people inside). The interior was decorated with plants, so it felt like being transported to another world. I was one of the fifteen people attending the event. Our server did a great job of checking in on us to make sure that we were enjoying our meal and/or drink and that we had everything that we needed. On this occasion, I ordered a drink, Nonna's Garden (cucumber, microgreen tea, and lemon). It was alcohol-free and refreshing, I enjoyed every sip! Other attendees ordered food or drinks and they said that their meal and/or drink tasted good as well! It gets crowded really fast, so reservation is highly recommended!

A few friends and I visited Ration while we were visiting Toronto, and did the full tasting menu with cocktail pairings (menu + customized drinks). Everything was AMAZING!! I can't say enough good things about the food, the cocktails, the concept, and the service. Our tasting menu was diverse, balanced and highly fulfilling. Each course was well described and presented by staff. We enjoyed near all the cocktails on the menu, in addition to many personally customized cocktails recommended by the bartender based on our individual palettes. Highly recommend this place for any type of celebration!

We came for a birthday brunch and what a great find! Everything from the service to the food is spectacular at this place! Excellent flavour profile in each dish and the perfect portion size. Definitely coming back to try other menu items!

Service was good. Food was plated very nicely. Dishes were small bites but tasted good. They used a lot of fresh and local farmed ingredients which I really liked.

We enjoyed a nice tasting menu dinner with very pleasant service. The cocktail Tromba Lychee Parsnip'tarita was amazing (highly recommended). All dishes were presented and described with detail by their staff. Introduced to how fermentation adds very unique unami tastes to the dishes. Loved the Shitake, Agnolotti pasta course and the delicious duck main course. Ended with an amazing chocolate dessert (not described on the menu). Overall a lovely unique tasting menu.

My husband and I had snacks and cocktails on The Terrace at Ration Beverly last night. What can I say..... absolutely amazing! Beautiful terrace over- looking the city, excellent service, and the best food we have ever had. When you arrive to the roof top you are instantly greeted with warm smiles and a sense of genuine enthusiasm to have you there, the service does not stop there - you are very well taken care of from start to finish. It is a true Oasis in the heart of down town. I would love to give special mentions to the following people : Jordan: chef extrodinaire! It was a pleasure to watch him in the open kitchen, it was his mission to ensure you were taken care of and well fed. Most importantly - the food was beyond amazing, mad skills he has. Erica: Baker and mixologist whiz! Seriously delicious cocktails and can just create on the go - amazing. She made the best tequila/Rhubarb/Strawberry cocktail. Real talent to make people feel welcome as well. Wes: Front of house supreme gentleman. Always smiling, constantly wanting to please and keeps everything running perfectly. His Som back ground was a bonus for me - real talent for his wine list. He took the time last night to have a wine enthusiast chat with me, that man knows his stuff and can make perfect pairing suggestions. Wes is just an awsome human being. Joe: super friendly, creative with how he plates and you can tell has a true passion for what he does. Amazing on the protein station. Michelle: wonderful server, always made sure you were not wanting for anything. Very sweet and her timing was perfect. It was the head chef's night off but he came to say hi and to make sure we were well taken care of. Everything on the snack menu should be tried. The winner for me were the duck wings. OMG, I finished one small plating then ordered more. Fantastic! Truely outstanding food, amazing team and one of the most beautiful hidden gems in the city. Pay no attention to negative reviews as those patrons have no understanding or appreciation as to what this amazing culinary team is doing or how hard they are working to please others. Kate MacF

This place is a total gem. Great food and cocktails are only the start to a great experience. The service was impeccable and what was suppose to be a one cocktail visit turned into 4 rounds of drinks and food because of how much fun we were having . Those cocktails were first class !
