We were there for a dinner in a middle of June and it was honestly a very bad experience. We were really looking forward to eat there but our expactations were much higher. The table was in a dark corner which wasn’t very pleasent and because almost no one spoke english, I felt like very isolated and disconnected from everything going on in the restaurant.
The food itself was good, but we didn’t even finish the menu. I understand that it was an old traditional house but if you want to serve quite fancy food, you should also provide customers a good weather conditions. Because of the heat we didn’t feel well at all, so we left before the main course. Also the service wasn’t on the level we’ve expected and we did not even enjoy the wine pairing which they offered us. I love the family atmosphere in the restaurants, but it was too average for how the food and restaurant wanted to be seen. Maybe it would be different coming here in winter, but the whole atmosphere were ruined because of the conditions inside the restaurant. They should buy and air-conditioner first and then invite guests.
I am sure that a lot of people enjoyed it according to the reviews,but it was not our story.. Sorry.
