We were there for a dinner in a middle of June and it was honestly a very bad experience. We were really looking forward to eat there but our expactations were much higher. The table was in a dark corner which wasn’t very pleasent and because almost no one spoke english, I felt like very isolated and disconnected from everything going on in the restaurant. The food itself was good, but we didn’t even finish the menu. I understand that it was an old traditional house but if you want to serve quite fancy food, you should also provide customers a good weather conditions. Because of the heat we didn’t feel well at all, so we left before the main course. Also the service wasn’t on the level we’ve expected and we did not even enjoy the wine pairing which they offered us. I love the family atmosphere in the restaurants, but it was too average for how the food and restaurant wanted to be seen. Maybe it would be different coming here in winter, but the whole atmosphere were ruined because of the conditions inside the restaurant. They should buy and air-conditioner first and then invite guests. I am sure that a lot of people enjoyed it according to the reviews,but it was not our story.. Sorry.

We came here on our trip through Austria last year, and it was absolutely the best place we ate. We were completely enchanted, watching the chefs cook everything in front of us in giant pans on the range. Everything served is local and seasonal. Go with an empty stomach!

This is one of the best places I had traditional Austrian dishes with a modern twist. Hats off to the Chef and the team. If you are looking for a cozy place with an unforgettable experience of Austrian delicacy, this place should be a priority in your list. Everything served in this restaurant is from local farmers in the Pinzgau area and produced in the restaurant's own farm. It is a limited seating location, better check their website and make reservations prior for the best experience. When we arrived the ladies greeted us with a locally produce wine and served a full course meal of 7 steps. The presentation to the flavor is spot one. The creativity of the chef's work is indeed an art. It's worth the price and the time to go there and have a wonderful meel with your loved ones. I would definitely go there one more time.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best dining experience ever. All the hosts were very nice and dedicated to what they do. The restaurant looks amazing and all the products used are local and of the highest quality. Even the butter at this restaurant tastes 100x better than what you buy at the shop. I will definitely be back here again.

This place is where you experience the real ancestry of Austria. The food is heavenly and all organic. The atmosphere is spectacular. Once you come here and appreciate the history and welcoming atmosphere you will become a regular.

Extraordinary cuisine and experience in a very rustic atmosphere. There is one menu for all and parking is terrible, but it is all worth it, a remarkable place. Reservation is a must.
