Google
Came here hoping to have a farm tour and to see some calves and cows, but the farm tour is only seasonal, best to contact the owner ( see business card photo) for the farm tour availability. The on site farm store is inside a portable bungalow. The space is small, but carries all the dairy products you see in the regular retail store. The lady was super friendly and knowledgeable, we were able to try some samples before we made our purchases. The price of each item is unbeatable since they are directly from the source ( see the pricing chart in the photo ). I will definitely come back again in the future when the weather is warmer ( currently in November) for the farm tour, and also to get more cheese!!

Google
THE BEST Dairy!!! For starters I’ve never seen Happy cows! THESE are Happy Cows!🤩 NO odor on the dairy!!! Products are always fresh. Customer Service is Amazing very welcoming and just an all around great family owned business. I would definitely recommend and give 10 STARS+ Don’t forget to ask about a tour. Very educational 👍🏼

I stopped by the farm store. It's small but everyone is so nice and the milk is so fresh . The store has milk , kefir ,cheese ,cream and butter. So they have the basics and it's cheaper than buying it at sprouts!

Google
Finally some real milk! My friend and I stopped in last Thursday on our way back to Los Banos and I wish I would have gotten a gallon. It’s been five days and it’s still as fresh as it was the day I bought it but sadly I’m almost out - time for another trip to FresnoCounty! The service was wonderful also - very friendly and helpful people. Thank you so much!

Google
What a phenomenal dairy farm. I absolutely loved the event I went to called Camping with the Cows. What an amazing family who runs the farm. Highly recommend the event and their products! The price is worth your health.

Google
My husband and I are on a road trip from MA, and we stopped here for some fresh milk, which was so delicious! We ended up having the most wonderful experience. Mark and Blaine (owners) are the most down to earth, most gracious, and completely genuine people. They invited us into their home and gifted us with not only milk, but kefir, butter, cream, t shirts/sweatshirts and a KITTEN that needed a home.

Google
We love Raw Farms, the staff is SO nice and the milk products are 1000% worth every penny 😍

Google
Our Family enjoys all thier organic dairy products The kids love bringing home the 5lb block of cheese Now that my kids are grown ups they share the love of this farm with thier family We still visit the store when we are down n the Fresno area

Yelp
I'm obsessed with their products! Not only are they delicious, they are good for you. My favorite is the cream for my coffee and their jalapeño cheddar cheese!!!! Winner:)) BTW we took our grandkids camping with their cows, and it was a great event for everybody there!

Yelp
There are mentally ill ppl making reviews that are brainwashed to be afraid of the most natural food on the planet. That's not a "review" it's an opinion and should be removed. I can't live without raw milk. My diet is so restricted I NEED it. If you dont drink it then don't worry about us. Worry about your dead milk. No one is putting HIV in milk.

Kyle A.

Yelp
This farm had sold milk contaminated with bird flu. There must be some testing available to make sure diseases aren't in their food. I hope that raw farm will either test for bird flu, HIV, and hepatitis in their milk; or be shut down. This is a threat to society.

Yelp
I have been drinking Raw Farm's milk for many years and have noticed a huge improvement in my ability to digest dairy since doing so. It has never made me sick. Like many people who live or have lived in Europe I never had a problem with dairy until I move back here. The milk industry is so heavily regulated in the way they are made to process their dairy products that it becomes sadly indigestible to so many Americans. Dairy products could otherwise be a good source of protein and vitamin B12 for vegetarians and others who for health reasons are not able to consume meat, poultry and fish. Raw Farm makes sure that their calves get to suckle from the mothers and grow up normally, so if it is a little less creamy it could be because of that also. The milk is still delicious and each bottle has in my experience always had enough cream floating at the top which I shake up before starting the bottle. Their humane standards for their cows are as immaculate as can be. The other raw milk company here in California is creamier but I found it difficult to digest so I switched to Raw Farm. Also they do use antibiotics when needed, which they say they wait a certain amount of time afterwards to start milking them again, but the effects of antibiotics is not something that just flushes out. Everyone involved in holistic health knows that.

Yelp
Excellent product and great customer service! I'd love to score a black raw farm hoodie when they are back in stock. The white hoodie is a one time wearable for a giant. I tend to bump into anything and everything dirty when wearing clean white tops. I've got some milk sitting in the cupboard waiting for me to get home. It's alive! Alive...‍

Yelp
I love raw milk. A complete food. Been drinking it for 30+ yrs. and just tried raw farm milk for the first time. The problem I`ve seen with companies that produce raw milk and offer heavy cream, cheez, and kifer is their milk is like drinking white water. There is very little richness to the milk. It gets used for the above mentioned products and the milk suffers. The milk I am used to has all the cream in it and is vastly different from this milk. My constructive criticism.

Cheyenne S.

Yelp
Went to the dairy today to buy milk...girl at front counter was rude...no hello no I'll be with you in a second....she chatted outside with someone else while I'm just standing inside waiting to buy milk just sitting on the counter getting warm. I just left. Very poor costumer service.

Supajok C.

Yelp
I have been a customer for over 10 years until today @ Torrance Farmers Market outlet 12/08/22. The employee talked in kind detail to the customer ahead of me about the creamery burning to the ground last night while I stood waiting in back pain. Finally, I ordered my milk, then she ignored me, took the order of a Spanish speaking customer from behind me, and served her, while I stood in pain. The sign did not say "Spanish-Speaking Preferred!" Then she lied to me as tho I didn't see her. Since she is rude and a liar, I can't trust the ethics of a company that would hire such a bold faced liar. I should have stopped coming when Major left.

Yelp
Loved finding this place to get raw milk. I am lactose intolerant and cannot have pasteurized milk so I was so happy to find that I can drink raw milk w/o any of the reactions I get from the other. The only drawback for us is that the location of the farm is not really a convenient one. Yes, we can purchase their raw milk at stores but with quite a rate hike and not as fresh as getting it at the farm. We solved this issue by purchasing extra milk and freezing it!

Jacqueline O.

Yelp
We were very happy to find out that we had a local dairy farm that raises pasture fed chickens and cows. I ordered a dozen eggs, one gallon of milk, one carton of heavy cream and shredded goat cheese. Our delivery was packaged to maintain coldness and everything was fresh. There were no broken eggs. The products were amazing. I'll never buy regular stuff again. I made ice cream. Have you ever had raw dairy ice cream?

Little Y.

Yelp
Okay, so it's my 4th time buying (1liter) bottle and I just realized, I have no cream on top even though it says CREAM TOP? And not homogenized but maybe it is Homogenized? I'm confused and need answers!! I pay $16 dollars for every big bottle.

Yelp
I am a regular customer of Raw Farm, and like it a lot. I buy raw milk from them, and think it is great that it is available from a dairy in California. In other states, it is much more complicated. In Colorado, I had to "buy" a piece of a cow in order to be able to buy milk from a farmer. In Florida, I could buy raw milk in a grocery store, but it had warning signs says it was only for pets. So, I think Raw Farm does a great job, and it is wonderful that it is easy to buy their products. That said, they had a major fire at 3am on Jan 8, 2022, and it is not clear how long it will be until their products are again available. I certainly hope that it is soon.

Natalie W.

Yelp
Very happy to have found raw milk. We buy it at our local market and love the freshness and the cream on top makes it amazing!!

Dustan K.

Yelp
This review is based on the product as well as the tour provided by Blaine at the facility. I have not consumed raw milk from any other producer so I cannot compare to others but I should add that I have found no reason to make a switch. This milk is delicious, creamy, and tastes much richer and sweeter than pasteurized whole milk (in my opinion). Another reviewer commented on not seeing cream in the milk, so I posted a photo to show that it does in fact have cream that rises to the top. I'm not saying the review is a lie but the review was from 2 years ago so maybe something has changed since then. I'd also like to comment on its digestibility. I've tried a drinking gallon of water a day and I'll feel bloated and be peeing quite frequently. However, when consuming a gallon of this milk, I don't feel bloated nor do I urinate as often. A Google search confirmed milk seems to hydrate better than water (based on urination frequency) and I'd have to agree. As for the facility tour, the place is fairly small which I found pleasing. Their safety protocols/ procedures are above and beyond what is required. Blaine did a wonderful job explaining their protocols as well as talking about the qualifications of those involved in making the protocols. She is very passionate about what they do on the farm and the products they provide. Her husband Mark is also very kind. Anyone in the Central Valley who buys their milk should go check out the facility. It'll also provide you a chance to stock up on milk without the shipping cost.

Yelp
I go to my usual Farmer's Market almost every other week at Great Mall, Milpitas, CA. I came across your milk stand which is the first kind I've seen at any Farmer's Market. I was surprised to get a sample of the organic whole raw milk. That was the only one she had available with her. I never thought of buying milk at a Farmer's Market but I was won over the taste of the milk and the salesperson was knowledgeable about the milk. I will consider buying Organic Pastures at the Farmer's Market again in Milpitas.

Anita S.

Yelp
The best milk hands down that we've ever tasted. I won't ever buy anything else. Can't wait to try their other products. I'm in love. My son loves to drink his milk over ice and claims it tastes like ice cream.

K S.

Yelp
I agree with the other reviewers on the customer service, not great at all. They have a decent product, but customer service lacks and cows are corn fed without labeling that? Not stoked to find that out after years of consuming and referring their products. I also heard that they fired their central coast representative (of many many years) out of the blue. I don't know the details, but I do know that the central coast small business' have been left behind in the dust because "they are not big enough clients". Said business' had no notice, their deliveries just didn't show up. This is a terrible way to run a business, especially one that is as sensitive as raw milk. There is a lot of conflicting info out there and I would think that you would want more people on your side, rather than against you. To each their own, I guess. I am all for good quality raw milk, but not if the business has bad practices with people (including "their own") and what they feed their cows is mis understood by many people. For store bought (not fresh off the farm) milk (especially raw) this is the best company that serves our area, but now I (and many others) are considering supporting other companies to help them build up. I am very disappointed in OP's customer service and their recent way of dealing with the changes they are making. Also, very bummed to hear about the corn feeding.

Cherry H.

Yelp
every order I placed was messed up.... took forever to get replaced.... also the basic shipping is so high ..... it cost more than the order itself.... that is the 1 star.....

Dana E.

Yelp
i have bought 2 gallons of raw milk a week for the past 4years i love raw milk for my family but i n the last year i have had the opportunity to try some other raw milk only to find that the quality of raw farm milk at 16.00 dollars a gallon is no comparison sorry raw farm i am going elswhere !!

Genevieve R.

Yelp
For several years, I bought OP Raw Milk. I loved the product. At first, I was willing to pay the slightly higher price per gallon to support the company, product and attitude. At a point, the prices became so high that I could no longer rationalize continued purchase. I switched to nut based(milk like) products, in much smaller amounts. Sorry to have had to leave this product out of my diet but cost is a consideration for many.

Robyn E.

Yelp
Have you tasted milk at a farm? The reviewers who speak very highly of OP are probably rating organic raw milk against pasteurized, homogenized milk, ("pasteurized" meaning that they heat the milk enough to kill harmful bacteria, "homogenized" meaning that they break the cream into small units so that it is spread evenly through the milk and does not rise to the surface). I give 5 stars to raw milk in general. But OP milk has been stripped of the cream (for their butter production?) and tastes quite inferior to Clarevale milk. Besides, what kind of cows do they milk? The Clarevale herd is composed of jersey cows, which produce more cream than other cows, (but not as much milk volume). (Read about factors affecting percentage of fat in milk at the PennState Extension website). I would like OP to explain how they can claim 8% fat when their milk is not homogenized yet the cream does not rise to the top!

J T.

Yelp
My review isn't based on the product itself, but the customer service. Unfriendly, rude, and very short on the phone.

maggie w.

Yelp
After another email to OP they finally "responded". They didn't answer my question and just wrote a bunch of ambiguous things. I specifically asked what percentage of their feed is corn and they didn't answer that. They just said that dairy cows can't pasture 100% because it doesn't provide enough nutrition for them to produce milk. Then I stumbled across this great review from someone who personally visited the OP farm and the other raw milk dairy in CA--Claravale Farms and posted video of it. http://healthytraditions.com/blog/post.cfm/certified-raw-milk-in-california-visits-to-the-two-raw-milk-dairies. I am now going to buy from Claravale and not OP. OP seems more about the money and business than good honest food. OP has over 450 cows that they buy from the outside while Claravale only has 65 and it's a closed herd in that they don't buy other cows they breed their own.

Yelp
Just got my 5 pound raw cheese from UPS. Took 8 days to deliver, was supposed to take 1 to 5. Was burning hot! So much for healthier cheese that " hasnt been heated over 100", so the company says. Here is a novel idea...PACK IT IN DRY ICE AND HAVE UPS SHIP OVERNIGHT OR 2 DAY DELIVERY... The box was also soaking wet from the cold packs they had in the box. Are you kidding me??? Cold packs? Cold packs are melted in less than 24 hours. Who are the idiots that run this place ALSO, when I had called before i ordered, I asked if the cheese is 100% grass fed, and they said yes. THAT IS A LIE!! I found out now that they feed them corn as well. Where is the NON GMO sticker as well???? they say it is NON GMO, but they are not certified NON GMO...UGGHHHHHHHHH..Completely pissed off

Zoya R.

Yelp
RECALL is over!!! The CDFA recalled all OP products after one sample of the Raw Cream had a small amount of a bacteria called Coliform, which can cause mild symptoms or none. All of OP's products were tested and now the CDFA has ended the recall! We should expect to see products back on the shelves, soon!!! LOVE OP milk! So happy that they produce healthy fresh, unprocessed milk and all sorts of other dairy products! Love their raw cheese, too! But especially the milk!

Derek F.

Yelp
When here to check out the place on a field trip it was totally amazing and really cool to see how you can still have great organic milk and material without using all kinds of weird chemicals and what not I brought myself home some cream and half a gallon of milk and they were gone by the next day this place is great

Imran K.

Yelp
Colostrum is the frist milk after pregnancy this is sold from Cows. This amazing protein builds your muscles and provides tons of energy. You can order this raw from Oraganic pastures after drinking this stuff I was full off energy. Just awesome.

Darin C.

Yelp
This place is a class act and should be a model for all dairy's and farms. Their cows are well treated and graze on an organic pasture not geneticly modified grain. With the rise of massive factory farms this is a rarity nowadays. I recently learned about the benefits and availability of raw dairy, and after trying a few of their products I'm now a loyal customer. I recommend checking out their website as it's loaded with useful information. Their milk tastes incredible, and it doesn't have that fowl aftertaste that almost every commercially available milk does. It's on the pricey side, but well worth it in IMO. Anyone who consumes dairy products should consider patronizing them.

Luke T.

Yelp
I'd just like to thank OP for providing real milk to their customers. I'm so glad I have the freedom to buy from them. I am really "into" milk and nothing seems to get me going more than milk talk. - I would recommend these books to anyone interested in milk: The Untold Story of Milk The Raw Truth About Milk Raw Milk Revolution - I grew up drinking a ton of sterilized, dead, puss and fecal matter filled corn-fed white liquid. I now avoid it like the plague that it is and enjoy a gallon per week of Organic Pastures! - We've toured the dairy and it was a great experience - like Disneyland for grown-ups.

Tis C.

Yelp
If you're an animal lover like myself or just committed to making healthier living choices, this place is for you. Organic Pastures is truly where the 'happy cows' live along with the most delicious dairy. Since moving to Fresno from the SF Bay Area I've been on a mission to find the best organic produce and was very excited to find that not only is Fresno home to some wonderful farmers markets but, thanks to this great facility, also healthy (raw) milk, butter, and cheese. This is a grass-roots, family-owned-and-run business that truly put their heart and passion into creating an incredible tasting product (try the chocolate colostrum or raw cream) that actually nourishes and heals the body. Over the years I've tried unsuccessfully to switch from vegetarian to vegan due to my love of dairy, but now I can eat drench my cereal in milk, cream my coffee, and load my baked potatoes with cheese and butter with peace-of-mind . . . very cool.

Christine C.

Yelp
this raw milk is my absolute favorite! i always thought i was lactose intolerant because i would have GI issues when i drank commercial milk and ice cream...till later i researched about raw milk and its benefits. before America became a GMO and synthetic food industry, every food used to be fresh and organic. I buy mine at Sprouts..unfortunately, Whole Foods doesn't support Organic Pastures because Whole Foods care more about profit and not the people. I will continue to drink this and will try our their raw kefir and raw butter. RAW is GOOD!!!!! screw CFDA and their witch hunting! all they see is $$ in their eyes =( such a shame

CT T.

Yelp
I love this raw milk! It tastes less "raw" (after taste? strong taste?) than the milk at Erewhon (comes in a vintage looking glass container) and the containers are bigger. I have been reading a woman's blog (www.cheeseslave.com) and it has really enlightened me on how foods directly affect your health, body, mental state, etc. She drinks raw milk and through her anecdotal stories I was sold. I came here last Sunday and purchased 3 for $21. Not cheap, but I keep the extras in the freezer. Raw milk is not pasteurized so it still contains all the good bacteria and all the other goodies that go untouched since, yes, it is raw. I think the general public is grossed out at the thought of raw milk but at the same time they are fascinated. I went to the Hollywood Farmer's Market specifically for this stand and when I got there I was asking a few questions and next thing I knew, a large crowd had gathered, some looking confused, others looking interested. The guy featured on cheeseslave's website was the actual guy at the stand, his name is Maurice and he is very nice and knows his stuff. I highly recommend!

Mike R.

Yelp
The best whole milk and cheese I have had. The butter is pretty amazing too. I've seen complaints about no cream on top, but I've always had about 1/4 of my milk be cream. I think people just love to hate on shit. I'll buy these products biweekly as long as I can. Worth every penny.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Nope, never again! I bought a gallon of their raw whole milk to skim the cream off but guess what? They beat me to it! Their whole milk is not *whole*. All the cream was skimmed and milk itself tasted terrible! As a kid I used to work at a dairy farm and know the taste of real milk and what they've sold me for $14 a gallon ain't it!

r. l.

Yelp
Raw milk is great! I encourage anyone and everyone to continue to drink raw milk. Having said that...I can't believe that they've received so many great reviews. OP customer service is severely lacking. Organic Pastures is constantly out of stock on butter. Every time I try to purchase butter, they are out. They'll say, "We're getting more cows," but they say that EVERY time they're out of butter. How can they constantly be out of butter and needing more cows? It doesn't make sense to me since they have plenty of cream. This morning I called the toll-free line, and the person on the other end was very curt and cut me off when I asked about their butter. Again, what did she happen to tell me when I asked about the timeline for butter? "We're getting more cows..." Do the cows run away? Why are they constantly losing their cows, and yet they have TONS of cream? Enough cream, I would say, to make some gosh-darn butter! I'll call Claravale - better quality cream, and at least I know I'll have to continue to make my own butter. Argh!

Stacie C.

Yelp
LOVE this milk and cream!! I am lactose intolerant, but I have NO problem drinking raw milk! My 7 year old loves it too!! I will continue to buy this milk at the farmers markets every time I get a chance! I also buy the cream to make Half and Half for my coffee! :)

Soo P.

Yelp
I tried the milk and cheese. I like both, but I hope they can make more variety and different tasting kinds of cheeses. I guess if I want sour cream, whip cream and yogurt, I'll have to make it myself from their cream?

Linda C.

Yelp
First let me say that I have had both Organic Pastures Raw Dairy as well as Claravale Raw Dairy as well as purchasing raw milk, cream and butter in Maine where you can still buy it off the shelf. My first problem with Organic Pastures is that their products come in plastic. They assure everyone that this does not detract from the health benefits of their products but I know better. Claravale Farms (which tastes much better) only sells in glass containers as well as the dairies in Maine. Right away this spells compromise to me. My second problem with Organic Pastures is the very rude customer service. It amazes me how the owner of this company who is so much in the public eye with his fight to keep raw milk legal would hire people who act as though they are doing you a favor by simply taking your call. Shame on him. These are the most disdainful lot I have yet to encounter. They all but slam the phone down on you after speaking with them totally unprovoked. If you are in that particular part of California I would advise anyone to go with Claravale Farms based on customer service and the better tasting milk sold in glass bottles are guaranteed not to compromise the quality of the milk.

Yvette O.

Yelp
They are very unfair and fake Aaron who is the manager doesn't know how to return phone calls regarding concerns. It's fine I want nothing to do with this place anyways

Stephen F.

Yelp
I love their products and have lived on their 100% raw milk and nothing else for 4 months and felt great. Read, Milk Diet pdf. Remedy for Chronic Disease

kris p.

Yelp
Lassens and Sprouts sell it. Kind of pricey, but I love the product. I didn't know this place is based in Fresno. Super cool!
