"Rawduck, London Fields Broadway Market. On the outskirts of London Fields on Richmond Road there is a small row of restaurants and while all of them are good, Rawduck takes the top spot as far as we're concerned. No matter what time of day, the food, the setting and the extensive wine list never fails to satisfy.Offering one of the nicest brunches in the area on the weekends with a roast on Sunday, they also place a lot of emphasis on ferments, pickles and drinking vinegars, all of which are created in-house. The menu of small and large plates changes weekly with ingredients coming from suppliers who share the same passion for food with honesty and character. Here's hoping they never remove the buttermilk chicken with fermented soy and chilli dipping sauce!"

3 of us had a mid-week dinner here. The service was friendly but very relaxed so most food took a little while to arrive and didn't arrive all at once. They tended to arrive one or two dishes at a time. The plates were small, expensive and weird. We chose to go here based on the recommendation by the book 'WHERE CHEFS EAT' in which this restaurant is described as "Budget" in terms of price range. I assure you, budget it is not. Their dinner menu is fairly expensive, even for London, with a small plate of chopped steak and charred veg being £20+. The food was really interesting and for the most part, tasty. But the price made it really hard to enjoy this food. The atmosphere, decorations/furniture and music was all great! Very, very hipster but all interesting. Final thoughts: try the drinking vinegars and spoiler alert! They don't have actual raw duck on the menu.

I had brunch here and left very satisfied indeed. The restaurant offers outside and inside seats and serves up some quality food. Largely egg based, the menu contains some classics as well as some more interesting Asian fusion cooking. Drinks are all good, if not a little overpriced. Well work a visit.

The main meal was nice, but the service was fairly relaxed. It took a while to receive our food. This is nice for couples, but we were a large hungry group. I then had the rhubarb baked cheesecake... The best cheesecake I've ever had!!

Excellent selection of food here. Ideal if you fancy lots of variety in small dishes - essentially a tasting menu. The portions were small but given the quality of the food and how wide the selection is, reasonably priced although not a budget night out. Been here several times and the staff are always great, knowledgeable about what is in offer and friendly without being overbearing which is what I prefer. Hate being asking "is your food OK?" throughout my meal at some places so here I can relax and enjoy myself. The wines on offer are excellent. Had a gin & tonic which was likely one of the best I've tasted - celery syrup is a winner! Nice canteen style layout and the music playing in the background was great and not too loud so could converse at a reasonable volume. Can't wait to visit again!

Great food, lovely staff. I've been here a lot - brunch, mid week and evenings. The wine is great and the food is always delicious and varied. The staff are amazing and have always gone out of their way to accommodate special requests. Everything from kids, dogs and then special birthdays. If you get used to it being served as tapas (rather than formal restaurant style) then you will understand the serving style.

Simple but still interesting and tasty food but a bit overpriced for some dishes. Also, most waiters looked a bit lost even though they were always around and seemed to be needing all empty wine glasses or plates even though you still had a sip or a bite left.. Would not rush back but good to try though once - rustic East-London atmosphere for an organic or bio-dynamic wine lover. We kept ordering bread as there were only two little slices on a plate, which they still charged for as well.. Good bread though but not sure if worth all that money.
