Took myself on a date here and had a really great experience. I decided to do a version of a girl dinner which allows me to try different flavors. I ordered the crab roll, shrimp gzoya, shrimp Bao and the wontons.
The crab rolls were my absolute favorite, i would order 50 of them if I could! The baos were pretty good and flavorful too. Unfortunately i didn’t like the gzoya, it is supposedly a popular item but it left a weird aftertaste so I wasn’t wowed. And the wontons were a different take on the dish, but i enjoyed it.
I didn’t finish all of these. I could’ve gone with three plates instead of four, but that’s fine.
I also had two drinks… the one in the bird glass…super cute and light and refreshing and the sorbet drink, Hadouken, it was really yummy and felt like my dessert drink!
The service was really great, I had two waiters check on me throughout the night and i loved that. The ambiance inside the restaurant was really good however i sat outside and it lacked a little big. You can kind of see the water behind the parked cars which was kind of nice…(but not great and obvi not the restaurant’s fault).
All in all, for a hotel restaurant it was really good and I’d go again but sit inside next time.
