"Raymond Vineyards: The Willa Wonka's of Wineries Jean-Charles Boisset, the playboy wine tycoon from one of the largest négociant , or wine merchant, families in France has turned a classic Napa Valley estate into a grown-up playground. From the “Theater of Nature” where Joe Papendick’s meticulous garden educates visitors about biodynamic farming to the Crystal Cellar where mostly naked mannequins swing freely from above the fermentation tanks to the Red Room, which you kind of have to see to believe. In the "blending room," you can play winemaker for a day with the help of Tyson, the Chief Blending Officer (you get to wear silver metallic lab coats!). There are also bocce courts, doves, peacocks, a “winery” for dogs and an entire house where everything is gold. Sound a bit like Willy Wonka’s? Yeah, it kind of is. But for wine, not candy, and lucky grown ups, not children."

Oh my! Words cannot describe this place, it must be experienced! We had a lovely hostess, Mel who took us on a full tour. The library, the red room, the crystal room all were a new and fantastical ride of the senses. The tasting rooms were fun and worth the exploration. The wines themselves were not to our liking. The concept was great. I would love to go back and do the wine maker for a day experience.

Very nice Gothic Old world velvet style winery and tasting. Highly recommend visiting. Ask for Lilly, she was Awesome! Wines were tasty. I normally don’t like Chardonnay but the LVE(John Legend) there I liked. Highly recommend tasting in the Red Lounge.

Ask for Sunny! I recently had the pleasure of visiting the exquisite Raymond vineyard that truly exceeded my expectations! The setting was truly enchanting, captivating the senses with its thoughtful design and charm. The staff like Leona were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our experience even more delightful. One of the highlights was interacting with the charming goats and chickens—so much fun! They added a unique and whimsical touch to the atmosphere. We enjoyed tasting some fantastic wines while soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Sunny, our exceptional wine steward, truly illuminated our visit with her warmth and enthusiasm. She provided a captivating insight into Mr. Boisset's vision for the vineyard, making the experience unforgettable. If you’re seeking a relaxing day with excellent service and a touch of farm life while venturing down an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole, this vineyard is a must-visit!

Absolutely amazing time at Raymond Vineyards. I’ve never been on a vineyard tour before but it will be hard to top that. Ché was fabulous, super funny and friendly. Really knowledgeable about the wines, the area, and had fun stories. We did the Main Salon tasting. The wines were great. We had some extra time, so Ché took us to the Red Room, Crystal Room, and library and map rooms. All of the rooms were super interesting and unique. We bought some wine and souvenirs, all of which were actually fairly priced. After our tasting, we walked around the grounds, pretty cool place and we got to feed the goats. Definitely recommend visiting Raymond Vineyards! Ché was awesome!

Such a great vineyard!! Our host was outstanding. Her knowledge of the area and wine gave us better appreciation for this area and wine. She basically taught us how to pair and drink wine.

So, I have nothing to compare this to as I had never been to a winery but I absolutely loved my experience. At the very least, it’s a great winery for beginners. My husband & I were visiting Napa & Sonoma for a wedding and were able to make last-minute reservations for this wine tasting. We sat outside with views of the vineyard and tasted 5 different wines that were all wonderful. Our host was so friendly & informative. We had lots of time to look around at the vineyard outside as well as the inside. Loved the laid-back vibe with an eccentric flare! You do have an opportunity to purchase bottles of wine after the tasting but they are not pushy with the sales at all and you don’t get any kind of “stuffy” feeling….oh! And the pizza was just the cherry on top!

Google
Oh my stars—what a neat place! Che’ hosted us on a tour and this was such a unique place. She’s personable and beautiful and taught us about the wine and the region. It’s artistic and fantastic and ALIVE—highly recommend a visit. The wine was fantastic, and add in the vibe and hospitality—worth every cent!

Google
Fun interesting atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Each room was different with touch and smell sensory stations related to wine. Our wine expert was Melanie. She was knowledgeable and nice. Unfortunately they were out of alot of the wines that we would have liked to try/buy. They are dog friendly inside and outside. Only took off 1 star for poor wine selection. Only dry wines today and it wasn't my favorite.

Yelp
Winemaker for a day! So me and the hubby took an amazing trip to Napa and could not leave without making our own wine and in a cool jacket might I add. We got here a bit early which was amazing because we got a chance to taste some great wine, meet some awesome people, browse the sensory wall and the gift shop! Besides making our own custom wines, that was the best part. Location: Were you driving in Napa and happen to spot an amazingly huge eyeball? If you did, you are in the right place! Stooooop immediately and let the sensory begin! Parking: There is an on-site parking lot with an interesting frame sculpture and royal chair. Everything about this place is eclectic and makes for great photo opportunities! Ambiance: Cool vibe with a clubby feel! Walking through thr door you get met with the concierge and a host of fancy sculptures that make your eyes dance. Service: Che was che-che-mazing! She was our Wine Master/ Teacher for the day. Super knowledgeable, on point, and witty... she made this experience super fun. She went through the wines, gave us a tour, helped us blend and applied our custom labels. I give this visit/ experience a 10/10! It's a must do for sure!!!

Yelp
It's always a great time when visiting Raymond Vineyards! My husband and I visited a week ago while celebrating 10 years together on a trip to Napa/Sonoma Valleys. We have been to the area a few times and are wine club members at Raymond's sister property: Buena Vista. With the JCB connection, the two of us were able to receive a complimentary tasting at Raymond. We've visited Raymond Vineyards before (March 2023) and had an awesome tour and tasting with Leo, that I would recommend to anyone when planning their winery visits to Napa. Since we had a lot of time between tastings and had been dying to return to Raymond, we stopped over after our time at Prisoner Winery. We fully would have understood if Raymond did not want to take us in, especially on a busy Saturday without any reservation/ appointment. However, they were happy to make room for us in the tasting room for a complimentary tasting. We were so thankful that they were so gracious and pleasant in accommodating us! Now onto the tasting, which was so lovely! We were helped by both Daniela & Leona. They were so busy in the tasting room, yet never let it affect their top notch service to us. You could tell that they were not cutting any corners in the experience they were giving their guests, ourselves included. Daniela even brought us a small gift on behalf of Raymond- a JCB Sparkling wine! It was so special and the experience really made an impression on us. As a Boisset member (via Buena Vista wine club), I was blown away by the service they provided and really made me feel valued as a club member and guest. Raymond wines are easily some of my favorite red wines in Napa. I love their Merlot so much! We also got to try John Legend's LVE wines that were not available on our last visit. The vibes and ambiance of Raymond is super cool and just feels really cozy. I also love how sustainable the property is and the biodynamic practices the winery utilizes. It's such a great place to explore and learn about! Plus, they have a "winemaker for a day" experience where you can make your own red blend, which is definitely something I'm planning on doing one day!!

Yelp
This is one of the most unique years I've ever been to in Napa and I live in San Francisco! It's so eclectic and unique, everything about this experience was amazing! First off the wine was absolutely amazing, but we came because we signed up for the " winemaker for the day" program, which led to make and bottle your own wine! This was honestly one of the best experiences we've ever had a Napa Valley, the experience itself was so interactive, and we got to really taste multiple blends and make our own custom blend! We brought our friends here after they got married, and this was a perfect way to celebrate them! Jose was our teacher for the class and he was amazing, so knowledgeable and really taught as a lot about wine! 10000/10 I'll be back to Raymond Vineyards

Yelp
We went wine tasting a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful experience with Lily! She was awesome, down to earth and super cool. Even though we're members, I'd go back any day just for Lily's chill demeanor. She was friendly and even was so sweet to gift us a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift for our wedding a couple months ago. Customer service and experience was top notch!

Yelp
Raymond Winery in St. Helena is a fantastic spot for wine lovers! Their outdoor area, which opened on Memorial Day, has a cozy backyard vibe with a vineyard backdrop. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is great. I tried their White Meritage, Red Meritage, Malbec, and two Cabernet Sauvignons (one from St. Helena and one from Napa Valley)--all delicious. They also offer a complimentary 6-inch veggie pizza that tastes great. Their tasting menu includes one white and five reds, though I wish they had more whites. It's pet-friendly, so bring your dog! Highly recommend for a fun outing with friends or family or any special occasion. Make sure to call for reservations!

Yelp
This is a sexy winery. I love all the themed rooms. Everything is velvet, soft to touch, and really cool to look at. Right when you think it's just the one room you get to enjoy they have a red room, gold room, a huge outdoor space with places to sit or take pictures. Beautiful fun property. Service fantastic and they gave us a tour of the property. Great times.

Yelp
Special shout out to Robert for being amazing! All of the staff here are very friendly hospitable, you will not be disappointed! Raymond is known for their cabs (Cabernet Sauvignon) but also great Chardonnay, jcb champagne, style vibes, great energy, also a walkout in the garden, their biodynamic and sustainable. You could even take a class and be a winemaker for a day! The unity cab was especially a delight...highly recommend Raymond sunny, ché, leona and Robert.!

Yelp
I had a great experience at Raymond. My company had a team offsite and we booked Raymond for the winemaker for a day and the red room experiences. Our activity consisted of us being broken up into multiple teams creating our own red blend. Whichever team had the best blend, that blend was bottled up and given to each employee with a custom label and our company logo on it. It was the coolest thing. While our wine was being bottled, we hung out in the red room. It was moody, plush, plenty of seating at the big table and the lounge area. There was also a pool room attached so some of us played a few games. Red and white wines were passed out. It was a vibe and it was very cool, as if we went back in time. I highly recommend if you're looking to do a team/company offsite or winetasting with your friends, but you do need to book an appointment. Don't forget to take lots of pictures because there are plenty of photo ops on the property.

Yelp
Had a tasting at Raymond today and it was so nice. Laurel was our tour guide and she was so great! Super passionate and knowledgeable. Raymond hits all of the senses, taste, smell, hear, and touch. It was an EXPERIENCE. I don't want to give it all away. Please just come for yourself, you won't regret it!

Yelp
On our way to Raymond we drove through the avenue of the senses. The eyeball greeted our experience as we twisted and turned through the driveway surrounded by vines. It was our first time! The winery had an amazing french moulin rouge and magical inspired feel! We were comforted by a warm welcome from the kind lady at the front. She was very excited to show us around. The atmosphere was very different in each room we went in. The Crystal Cellar shared my name so we started our tour there! One of my favorites, the chic Crystal Cellar was highlighted with strong woman characters such as maleficent and wonder women. A gorgeous avant-garde style gown at the center with a large crystal at the forefront of the tasting bar to manifest balanced energies. My other favorite room was the red room, with an en suite game room. The room boasted red velvet & decorated crystal every where the eyes could see. I would love to have this room for my birthday in January this year! We eventually ended up in the outdoor gardens with the red reserve where we enjoyed live acoustic classics such as Hotel California, while gazing at the gorgeous sunset over the endless green vineyards and large towering trees. The outdoor experience was surreal. As mentioned by the host themselves, Raymond wine is a transformative elixir that transports us into another dimension of passion. With every glass of Raymond, it transports you into a world where dreams take shape and passions come alive. Savor the magic! We love Raymond!

Yelp
I love Raymond Vineyards! I've been a member since 2021 and it just keeps getting better! I wish I could go visit everyday but alas... work. I do make a point to come every month or two. Everyone is super friendly and professional. I enjoy tastings in the Crystal Cellar with Leo and Natalie - they're both awesome. The Crystal Cellar focuses on their red wines. You also have the option to do a standard tasting which is inside at the bar area outside in the summertime. I also love wandering the property - they have a beautiful garden with many plants / flowers / vegetables and goats :) The wine of course is top-notch at a very reasonable price point. Their flagship is Generations Cab so if there are events for this I high suggest attending. I love their mountain cabs - all complex and with deep flavors. I'm also a fan of their white wines and rose. The LVE Rose is always a favorite and with member price of $20 is a steal! Their sparkling wines are also delicious as the owner JCB himself is French, he knows his bubbly! I love that they have several sister properties (Buena Vista, Elizabeth Spencer, DeLoach) that you can also get tastings covered at with your membership. In addition there's other tasting rooms where you get discounted tastings in downtown Napa and Calistoga. The interior feels super luxurious and reflects the eclectic and fancy style of the owner, JCB. I can't quantify the value I have received from my membership here. There are always release parties, dinner events, holiday events that members have access to. I have taken all my family and friends here and it's always a great time. If you even just go a few times a year, I highly suggest becoming a member!

Yelp
Best wine tasting room ever. Such a great experience, live music, excellent service from Leo, a great guy and very knowledgeable! Not your usual tasting room, a must see in wine country!

Yelp
We loved our trip to Napa but especially our tour and visit to Raymond winery. This was our favorite tour and Laural made it perfect. She took her time and explained every wine and where the grapes were from. You could tell she loved her job and Raymond is lucky to have her. Definitely a must on your next Napa trip. Thanks again to Laural. Kelly and Peter

Yelp
My sister and brother-in-law are members at Raymond Vineyards and I tagged along with them a few weeks ago for their cellar sale which is like their Black Friday event in the spring. The members got to shop earlier than the public and it's a good thing to line up early because a lot of people were there and a bunch of the good wine sells out fast! Wines started as low as $5 and went up to the $50+ range! We got so many great wines! My favorite find were the Frenchie wines! I love the packaging and crates they come in! We luckily snagged the last ones and we got so many questions from other shoppers where we found it. The staff at Raymond Vineyards was really nice. They brought out wine glasses for us while we waited in line so we could try a few before purchasing. I highly recommend bringing your own cart or trolley if you plan on purchasing a lot of wine at their cellar sale. In total we brought home over 50 bottles! OMG! We had wine coming out of our ears! We have more than enough to last us a year and most will probably be for gifts for friends and family. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Yelp
We had an amazing day at Raymond Vineyards! The best birthday ever! Everything from the 'Winemaker for the Day' with Jose, to the 'Tour and Tasting' with Paul was so enchanting. I forgot the name of the very sweet lady who greeted us both visits- she is super kind and brought tears of happiness to my heart (literally). The lovely, gracious and hospitable welcome we experienced when we arrived was above all we experience in the valley! Thank you all at Raymond Vineyards for such a wonderful memorable birthday!

Yelp
Raymond is very hospitable and welcoming. This wa suppose to be our second stop after Twomey. Which was fast tracked (see my review of Twomey) due to not good experience with previous winery. Our Host Maha is amazing and very welcoming.

Yelp
Visited a lot of wineries in St Helena but this one stood out in terms of value for money. The experience was very elevated and we didn't spend too much. Che was our host and we absolutely loved her. She showed us all the toured experiences over and above our planned visit in the Crystal Room. She's fantastic and you'll learn so much from spending time with her. The winery allows under 21 year olds and that was important to us since we were in a big family group. They even offered us mock-tails for the teens. We were walk ins but accommodated easily. Overall this was a 10 star experience. Can't wait to come back and can't wait to join the wine club too. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We visited a series of vineyards wineries whatever in 6-7 hours driving around Napa County California winery vineyards last Saturday. Just had to do this once in a lifetime...no stash no cash...Raymond is a playground..they love Frenchie dogs and have souvenirs in the back room...sip some wino..and buy wine for $5 to more...souvenirs fun..walking around the place..there's some silly animals and a fun photo area..super place to visit in Napa County..the other wineries are not as fun as Raymond.

Yelp
Wow! I thought I already gave my opinion on this place. How could I forget this one? Holy moly. If you want to go somewhere different, this place is for you. Just look at the photos. I was so amazed by this place. I mean, there were mannequins, the different lights, scenes....amazing. They have these super cool rooms that you can reserve for a dinner. I would love to do that one day. The wines here were fair. Most of them seemed to be on the sweeter side. I like my wines on the dry side. There were a couple I liked but the samples were very small. Anyhow, unfortunately, bad service can affect my judgement of a place. But if I forget about her, I still would give them 3 stars because the wine I tasted was okay, not spectacular and not bad. I would say this place is definitely eclectic and if you want a traditional wine tasting and environment, you might want to go elsewhere.

Yelp
First time at this vineyard to celebrate a birthday. We made reservations for the wine making experience. We waited & waited for another different group to show. We were on time , however another group was late . You would have thought that they would have offered us wine, since we had to wait on other groups. No they didn't at all. The hostess that was facilitating the class, she took us back to get started. She was very nice and apologetic. However, the late party arrived and the guy that brought the party of 6 back, insisted that we make changes to our seats to accommodate the group of 6 that was late. We explained, but he insisted that we move from the seats we were already seated in. Again the lady hostess was nice and the experience was just okay. For the amount of money, I expected top tier experience and a breadstick or a chocolate. No , I will not be going back.

Julie C.

Yelp
Love the tasting room. So warm and inviting. The staff were informative and kind. The wines are delicious.

Yelp
I've been visiting wineries in both Napa and Sonoma for over 12 years. My experience at Raymond was absolutely one of the best. The wine is amazing, the hospitality was personal and professional The photo opportunities are 2nd to none . Bonus points if you ask for CHE - she was amazing.

Yelp
Such a great experience, complete made by Ché. We felt like such VIPs! So cool to learn so much about the history and processes of Raymond winery, but made so personal and not just your generic Napa tasting. Highly recommend Raymond vineyards, and 100% request Ché for the best experience!

Yelp
We discovered Raymond Vineyards through our membership at Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma. As a side note: that membership is probably the best value membership I've seen in wine country because you get free tastings at so many wineries and tasting rooms, including Raymond. Raymond is a unique winery in the Napa Valley, in the sense that one of their tasting rooms is not your usual wood-paneled, stone-floored classic European chateau. It's called the Crystal Room. As expected, there's a big chandelier. Other than that, nothing is what you'd expect. It's a fully functioning wine production room, so it's chilly at 52 degrees (they do offer you blankets). There are also lucite bar chairs, trendy up lights and burlesque mannequins a la moulin rouge. It's a fun and definitely unique tasting experience. Also..beware that they only serve Cabernet in the Crystal Room, so if you prefer white wine, consider asking about a different tasting room.

Keli M.

Yelp
No words! Incredible, had no idea what to expect and this place is amazing! If you are looking for something different, fun, amazing service, welcoming staff, incredibly unique, like no other winery I've seen! We came for a "Wine Maker for a Day" experience while on a well deserved 16th wedding anniversary trip. SO lucky to have gotten Jose as our wine maker guide for the day, he was so sweet and knowledgeable, walked us through the whole process, educational but not overwhelming, learned a lot and walked away with a unique bottle of wine crafted by us to share with friends! Cannot recommend this place more highly, if you are looking for something different, wine making that is thoughtful but not stuffy, an accessible location with whimsy and lightness, look no further! And if you're able to request a guide, Jose Mendoza is your man, truly this was the highlight of our 3 days in St. Helena! We will be retuning!!

Crin F.

Yelp
did a wine tasting here on the Napa up valley trolley tour. Ché was amazing and so fun. she was super informative and made the tasting interesting and entertaining! recommend!

Yelp
I took my wife to "Winemaker for the Day" at Raymond Vineyards! It was an amazing experience. We were greeted with a glass of wine and allowed to walk around before the class started. Customer service was impeccable. Candice provided a great class and instructions on how to make wine. We were given several chances to create a wine to our liking. We created three bottles of wine in which we can order and share with our friends. The atmosphere is amazing and they have amazing decor. There's a hallway where you can smell fragrances. It's very lovely.

Yelp
Raymond Tour is unique and educational and I loved it. Maha really made the experience. All the women who were there were so girl friendly and talking to us and having fun and telling jokes on the tour. The Frenchie wine bottle and wine itself was great. Feels like everyone says hi and greets you when you walk by, maybe because Maha knows everyone and she's a very fun, uplifting and positive person. Paul at the bar was very professional and kind, Leo not so much on the professionalism. Overall, Maha and the ladies made this tour for me. Because of Maha I ordered caviar and sparkling wine at JCB after, Despite the very high bill, the service at JCB just wasn't the same as Raymond.

Yelp
Really great spot! Beautiful vineyard with unique and quirky interior. We only ended up here because we had a 2 for 1 tasting coupon, and we are so glad we did! The main tasting room is a big room with giant silver wine vats surrounding you. The theme is "Cabaret" and has a very rich and velvety vibe. There are mannequins dressed in glitter hanging from the ceiling (not in cheap way) which make it a great spot for photo ops! Other unique and fun reasons to visit - 1) they have a self-guided nature walk through plants and animals (goats, chickens). There is a QR code that takes you to a website with audio to describe what you're looking at. 2) they have a "sensation" hallway where you can feel different textures and smell different aromas / guess what you're smelling. The actual tasting was good. I did the "Taste of the Valley" (good variety of wines) and my companion did the "Crystal" tasting which was many different Cabernet Sauvignons. We were even able to "revisit" our favorite one at the end with another taste.

Yelp
I organized a tasting for me, my friends, and our families and the hospitality was sadly lackluster. A couple of my friends ran a little late and though I was apologetic for the inconvenience, our host Natalie's tone and demeanor upon greeting was immediately unwelcoming with an air of annoyance at our group. Not only that, she didn't even actually introduce herself to me. We were seated in the crystal cellar with a good amount of space. The wines themselves were great with the 2019 District Collection Rutherford being particularly impressive for its powerful yet elegant blackcurrant notes intertwined with earthen tones and followed by ample oaky tannins. That said, none of the reds were at all close to justifying their retail prices. Going back to the poor hospitality, that truly soured the experience for us. My wife noted that Natalie made comments as well about having everyone finish their current pour together so that she would not have to make multiple trips. Behavior like this made it clear that we were seen as an inconvenience more than anything else. My friends all felt unwelcome and I'm just relieved that we all still had a good time in each other's company. I would not recommend Raymond Vineyards to anyone, especially those with families. If this is any reflection of how they treat guests with children, they should just change their policy so that we can look elsewhere.

Viola Y.

Yelp
I highly recommend spending an afternoon wine tasting at Raymond vineyards for anyone looking to deepen their appreciation for wine and enjoy a lovely day in a beautiful setting. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned wine enthusiast, there's something for everyone. I left with not only a few bottles to take home but also wonderful memories ,Delicious tastings and amazing outside views .

Yelp
When: Saturday, February 26th, 2022 Time: 1pm Party of: 6 Appointment made via: Buena Vista Wine Club Coordinator and Tock BOOKED: The Crystal Cellar - $50 Inspired by the traditional candlelit cellars of France, the inimitable Crystal Cellar boasts stainless steel walls, a mirrored bar, and a collection of historical decanters. Here in a working cellar, beneath remarkable Baccarat chandeliers, guests discover another dimension of wine enjoyment while sampling Raymond's signature Cabernet Sauvignons. I'm a member at Buena Vista Winery. When planning a wine day on the Napa side, I decided to use my sister winery perks and try a tasting at Raymond. Our party size kept changing, but I ultimately made my final booking thru my coordinator 8 days prior. (They were very sweet and understanding with everything, so thank you!) After booking, I was sent a confirmation via Tock. Benefits at sister wineries are the same: 4 complimentary tastings and 20% off everything else. THE CRYSTAL EXPERIENCE: 2019 JCB Unity Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon: 542 cases produced (Bottle: $75 regular, $60 member) 2017 St Helena Cabernet Sauvignon: 200 cases produced (Bottle: $100 regular, $80 member) 2017 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon: 100 cases produced (Bottle: $110 regular, $88 member) 2018 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (Bottle: $145 regular, $116 member) I enjoyed the last two wines the most, but I was very interested in their 2017 Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon (Bottle: $110 regular, $88 member). I was hoping to try it, but unfortunately, they didn't have one open, so I wasn't able to. Not wanting to spent $88 on something I wasn't sure I would like, I ended up passing. No one in my party ended up buying any wine as we were all interested in wines not on the tasting list and they didn't have anything else open. (Weird as I thought they offered other tastings with different wines, but I didn't question it.) I'm not sure how pricing works for members tasting wise, but I was charged $36.94 per person for the two additional tastings. I tipped about $60 on top, so with tax, etc, our total ended up being $140 for the 6 of us. So now on to the space. The cellar has a club like feel with chandeliers, paintings, mannequins (in a burlesque like vibe), steel barrels, etc. But OMG! It was sooo cold! Like uncomfortable cold. My gf and I were the first ones to show up and we walked into our appointment without jackets. Promptly after being seated, she ran out to the car to get our jackets. I was wishing I had hand warmers on me to keep myself warmer. Other than that, the vibe is fun. Very modern with mirrored tables, etc. And the music wasn't too loud, so you can still have a convo. The Crystal Experience is definitely unique, but they should warn you about the temperature. Make sure to dress very warmly. You will be tasting in what feels like a wine fridge!

Yelp
My family went yesterday & had the best experience. We received amazing service from Amy, Leona, & especially Rafa! All staff members went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our experience. The place was also beautiful on the inside & outside. Overall an amazing day!

Yelp
Favorite winery of Napa hands down. This quirky and unconventional winery surely left a mark on us. A breath of fresh air from the stuffy, and pretentious typical Napa winery. We've found that typical Napa wineries are crowded, overpriced and overhyped. Raymond doesn't disappoint. Walked away with several bottles to add to our bar at home. This is a must stop whenever we're in the area or showing a loved one around in Northern California.

Yelp
We love it here. The eclectic decor is fun. Miss the mannequins though! The service by Melanie was exceptional and she toured us around the property after our tasting in the crystal room. Their membership club is also awesome as it allows you access to any of their properties, including Buena Vista, Deloach, and numerous others...great times at all we've gone to so far!

Yelp
I went to Raymond Vineyards on Tuesday, December 12 and had an absolute FANTASTIC TIME! We were there to celebrate my best friends birthday. Her birthday of Life. The wine was amazing, the tour was amazing, and Che was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Che is very knowledgeable about everything... The wine, the manufacturing, the dirt, and the family. Che took care of us like we were part of the family. I have never been to a winery where there was someone like Che that knew so much about the fabulous wines/champagne at Raymond Vineyards. I can not drink red wines, and Che had a great tasting substitute for me. When I return, I am going to reserve the RED ROOM. Absolutely Stunning. Thanks for the great time and great wine. Nichelle

Yelp
I came with a group of family friends for a private tour & tasting for a birthday celebration. It was such a beautiful scenery and the wine was tasty, I had to bring one home! Our tour guide was super sweet and gave us chocolate to pair with the cabernet. I think this is the perfect place to visit on a Napa Valley trip. Make sure to place reservations before hand! The tour guide also went in detail about the history and entire process of winemaking. Such a fun time!

Yelp
We did the "Winemaker for a Day" class which was a cool experience. Essentially you get the opportunity to blend your own bottle of wine and take it home! You can even customize the label for it which I thought was unique. Reservations for the class are made in advance. They send you an e-mail to fill out a form about your wine label and to send in pictures/templates if you decide to use your own. For the actual class you get put into a "lab" where the instructor goes over the process. You make three different blends, pick your favorite and they put into a bottle. You get to cork the wine and put the label on yourself! -- We did try to do a quick tasting after and the person there was a bit rude which was the complete opposite of our wine maker instructor. Based on that unfortunate encounter would recommend the class only

Yelp
Che was our guide and she was simply the best! Loved the vibe at this vineyard, not to be outdone by the incredible wines we enjoyed. But Che was the best part! She was knowledgeable, informative, and quite entertaining. The eclectic atmosphere was also a fun part of our visit. Quite unique. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back!

Yelp
This place was so entertaining. I didn't know all the stuff that went into the process of wine making and originally I did care because I'm not a wine drinker. But this place opened my eyes. For instance did you know they use rose bushes at the end of each row to show the health of the vines? And I love how they don't use any chemicals or pesticides but utilize nature as it should be used. And our tour guide Jim was AWESOME!!!!! He needs a raise. My group and I were having some bad experiences with Napa, but he turned it around and made our day. Hopefully in the future I can go back and do the "make your own wine" lab.

Yelp
Raymond was first on our trip to the Napa area - my husband and I came to celebrate our 10th anniversary and had our well-traveled and sweet 6 & 3 year olds with us. To our surprise many, if not, most places are 21+ which was disappointing. My husband went in and spoke to Marilyn to inquire and share our dilemma. Marilyn was incredibly nice and so accommodating and welcomed us with open arms to Raymond's. She even made us a handwritten list of kid-friendly wineries in the area and attached it to a map. Ché guided us through our tasting and tour and was fantastic - kind, funny and knowledgeable :) the ambiance is funky and artistic and very laid back! It was the perfect afternoon for our family!

Yelp
This is a very fun, eclectic and stylish winery with just about the friendliest and most personable employees I've ever encountered. You can't go wrong at this place.

Yelp
Natalie was wonderful and so she introduced me and my ladies to a variety of wine, educated us to the history of different districts in Napa, the soil variety, and showed us the gorgeous tasting rooms they offer. My ladies and I are all fans now and we became members. Love love my tasting experience and the wine she introduced us to. Even ones off menu .

Yelp
50 shades of grape. It's weird, y'all. Real weird. It feels like you stepped into some sort of odd, cheap-feeling Vegas swingers lounge. Like...maybe you need to list a safe word when you make reservations. Let bad music fill the air while you peruse over priced jewelry and $300 dollar perfume for some reason. This is the kind of place where a couple might buy you a glass of wine and say "Hey, my wife and I saw you from across the bar..." If you're looking for a more laid back experience, skip this place. If you *really* wish the Jersey Shore had never gone off the air, then throw on your best Ed Hardy, spray on some Axe and get here yesterday, bro. Wines are decent.

Yelp
We loved how different it was from other wineries. We did one of each tasting. The wine was very good. We also went on a short tour of the inside. The decor is fun.

Yelp
Great, interactive vineyard! Posh rooms, funky art, goats to pet! A great experience.

Yelp
If you're looking for something different and interesting to do, this should be on your list of things to do while visiting Napa. I had a really good time making my bottle of wine!

Yelp
Now Raymond, YOU have truly outdone yourself!!! Raymond Vineyards provided one of the BEST Napa Valley wine tasting experiences that I've had during COVID. Their estate is immaculate, the service is impeccable, and the wines are absolutely scrumptious! Went wine tasting in Napa Valley a few months ago with a friend, and Raymond Vineyards was our first stop of the day. It honestly should have been our last stop of the day because no other tasting even came close to the one that we ended up having here. FIRST of all... let's have a round of applause for their absolutely stunning estate! Unfortunately their famous Crystal Cellar and Red Room are closed to the public during COVID, but this honestly doesn't even matter. I absolutely LOVED their outdoor COVID setup. Each tasting area is setup privately with a covered vented tent that has views of their beautiful pool area. You can zip the tent down for more privacy or you can keep it open to take in the view. Each tent also has a little heater inside which was perfect because it kept us warm throughout our tasting. When you first enter into the building, there's a host who will check you in. After check in, you walk down the hallway to their back patio. But STOP... that hallway is so magical! It's got that all too familiar JCB flair! Super stylish, and you can peek into all of the beautiful tasting rooms as you walk through. They've made this hallway one way during COVID, so if you have to use the restroom, try to go beforehand to avoid having to walk back around to the front of the building. Once you make it out of the hallway, you'll be brought to their gorgeous garden area. There's a path that will take you to their tasting area right by the pool. We were greeted and hosted by Maha who was OUTSTANDING! Wow! Talk about knowledge, personality, and beauty. We simply loved her! We wanted to take her with us to the next tasting, but obviously that wasn't happening. But wow, she was so much fun. Shoutout to Maha because she simply MADE the experience here. I would come back just to have another tasting with her! Excellent service! And the wines... wowza. Fell in love with them. Their Chardonnay, their Red Blend, and their Cabernet were all top notch. I'm not really big on Cabs but hot dayum. The Cabs that she poured us were like silk. Just sooooo smooooth and incredibly balanced. Just dying to be paired with... SOMETHING. But even on their own, they were just fabulous. It kept tasting better and better with each sip. That "make you turn into an alki" type of wine. Oh yessir indeed. We were seriously feelin' it. Just delicious. Mmm. This was one of the most relaxing tastings that I've had during COVID. We really lost track of time and wished that we could have stayed longer. Next time, I will definitely make sure to allot for more time for our tasting. But even with the time that we were able to spend here, it was such an exceptional experience. This was definitely my favorite JCB winery experience to date. I'm already planning another trip back very soon. Hoping to get Maha again next time!
