Went there this past Saturday for my birthday. Had an amazing experience. The food was amazing so full of flavor and fresh . They are very attentive to the customers and a shout out to Shannon Rowell Service Manager did a great job at making my birthday the best🎉 customer service is so important these days and this place was above and beyond! We can't wait to go back for the brunch.

My first visit here with a group of friends. This is a nice place with a good menu for everyone. I ordered the prime rib. Unfortunately it was the toughest piece of prime rib I've ever had. The server was very friendly and professional. However, she was super slow. Everyone at the table commented about how long it would take for us to get service. The restaurant was not particularly busy when we were there on a Thursday evening.

What a delicious spot for brunch! The service was exceptional, and the waiters always catered to our needs. There is a very expansive selection of both breakfast and lunch options for the brunch buffet. The prime rib was particularly exceptional. I also enjoyed the baked items and desserts quite a lot. It is definitely worth checking this place out for a wide variety of wonderful bites!

Really wonderful experience from the atmosphere and service. The food was tasty but was very heavy handed with the seasonings. The Horseradish crusted grouper had an OVERPOWERING amount of horseradish. Oysters on the half shell was fresh and delicate for both raw and grilled. I enjoyed the grilled better. The creamy spinach was overly seasoned but I liked it and would get it again. The brussel sprouts were sweet and crispy. I would order them again. The twice baked potato is forgettable and was the only item lacking flavor. Would not order it again. Ribeye steak was a very nice cut of meat and nicely grilled medium. The dirty martini with the blue cheese olives was by far amazing 👏 Definitely ordering it again!

We absolutely loved the Sunday Brunch we had at "Ray's at Killer Creek". Malcolm, our server was truly the best, always there when we needed anything! The variety and quality of the food offered, including Prime Rib, a variety of shrimp dishes, salmon, oysters, scrambled eggs with/without cheese, bacon, grits, waffles, creme brulee, peach cobbler, and too many other delicious brunch dishes, and desserts to list. Ray's is now our favorite restaurant for brunch. I highly recommend Ray's at Killer Creek. I would suggest making a reservation.

Wife and I came here for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. Around 5pm it's not too crowded (yet). Food: For drinks we ordered the summer sprtiz and just an iced tea. The spritz was really good and well balanced. The tea is tea, it was good. For appetizers we ordered the goat cheese pimento fritters. We were a little disappointed that we didn't get much of the goat cheese taste or texture. It was still good though. For mains we ordered the scallops (special menu item) and the horseradish crusted grouper. The scallops were cooked well, and the risotto was good. A couple things we didn't like is that they used an orange infused olive oil which was very potent and aromatic of orange peel. It just didn't go well with the dish and overpowered everything on the plate. We didn't get much of the mushroom and bacon in the risotto. Perhaps that was due to the orange peel oil. I think keeping it simple here would've been much better. The grouper was tasty and a good temperature. The brussel sprouts were cooked well (not too soggy and not too underdone). Everything went well together. The texture of the crust was a bit soft (soggy), I wish there was a little more "crust" but unless it's fried I understand that's tough. Perhaps some nuts or more course breading? Either way, it still tasted phenomenal. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate raspberry cake. It was good. The mousse was a bit heavy for my wife but I liked it. Service: We had the pleasure of having Krista waiting our table. She was absolutely wonderful. I can't emphasize enough how attentive and friendly and knowledgeable she was. Nothing felt rushed, but she ensured we had an amazing dining experience. When we inevitably come back, we'll ask for her! Overall, everything was pretty solid. Most of our feedback on the food is subjective obviously. It wasn't enough to raise flags or discourage us from coming back. I think this is a wonderful place for dinner and hopefully we go back and try some of the other things that looked amazing.

The vibe of this place is a MUST!! The live singer did exceptionally well. The food wasn’t superb but the atmosphere made up for it. Would still recommend.

We went for fine dine experience at this restaurant. We loved the ambiance and cozy atmosphere. Staff was professional as per expectations. We would recommend this place for date nights or special occasions! They have an option of price fix 3 course meal menu too but we tried items from regular menu. We tried their Thai chicken salad as appetizer, Chicken Piccata and Steakhouse Meatloaf as entrée. For drinks we had Moscow mule and Peach cocktail. For dessert we had Ray’s signature praline basket. The food and dessert was hands-down mouthwatering delicious. However, we felt that their menu was very limited. Until now we had been to places for fine dine and there are at least 3 options each for chicken, seafood and steaks but not at this restaurant. We also asked if they had lamb chops but they said they keep that option just for specials. We feel it’s more of steakhouse.

Yelp
Honestly we didn't have the highest expectations based on reviews however we were very well taken care of by the staff for my dad's birthday dinner. Very friendly servers and service manager, delicious food that isn't at outrageous prices and decent drinks. You aren't going to break the bank compared to other steakhouses, you'll spend a good amount of money but get good food in return that shouldn't disappoint you.

Yelp
I hosted a group of 12 friends at Ray's Killer Creek yesterday evening. Ray's has always been a dependable restaurant and well worth the higher prices for the food, service, and ambiance. Unfortunately, last night, many of us did not have that great experience. Ray's was recently sold to an investment group with the promise that none of the three restaurants would change. Had only one of us experienced a problem, I'd say it was a fluke, however several of us had essentially the same problem. I'm going to back up a little with some background. I help facilitate events for a meetup group and often have 3 or 4 dinners per month with the group. Ray's has always been a favorite for happy hours as well as steak specials. So our visit yesterday was expected to be just as good as it had been in the past. I fear that the new owner group has sacrificed some of the previous quality in an effort to recoup the expense of purchasing the three restaurants from Ray. I set this evening up so the group would be able to enjoy the Spring 3-course $39 prix fixe menu. The challenges started with this. I had called the restaurant to confirm the reservation from OpenTable and to ensure that the special menu would be available last night. I was assured that it would. Upon receiving our menus, there was no mention of the special, that I was assured would run until at least the end of May. There was no specials menu either. I spoke to the maitre d' and was told that the chef had said they were out of some ingredient, so he said to not put the specials menu on the table. I mentioned to her that the group was here for that menu and asked if there was something that could be done. She said she'd talk to the chef. About 5 minutes later, the wait staff delivered the special menu, encased in the vinal sleeve (so it was clear that they didn't just put them together) and were already ready to distribute. There was no mention of any unavailable ingredients. Most of us ordered the special. Draw your own conclusions about why they didn't present the special menu to our party. I'll reserve my opinion from here. Our food was delivered in an appropriate amount of time for a table of 12, however the wait staff completely botched giving the correct meals to our group. It took a few minutes to get it straightened out. They apparently didn't care to realize that some were blackened and others broiled. The food was not even luke-warm. As I I said before, it came out in a reasonable account of time, so it wasn't as of the food had been sitting for any length of time in the kitchen. One of my shrimp was severely undercooked. None of this is characteristic of Ray's before the new ownership. I will point out that the restaurant was only 1/3 full, so it wasn't a matter of the kitchen being too busy either. We would have had a better meal at Chili's for less money.

Yelp
Last time I was here and reviewed was over 1 year ago. I couldn't wait to comeback so tonight I was finally ready for another amazing meal. On the night of 9/4/24 our waiter Thomas, Tom as we called him was amazing/attentive and just everything you could want in a server/waiter. We were told Tom was new to the staff but will soon be a bartender here at Ray's on killer creek, I'm gonna have to be sure to catch a happy hour. For dinner I had the scallop/ and husband had the ny strip with creole bbq shrimp. Once again fantastic meal/ and amazing server.

Yelp
Visited this restaurant for a wedding rehearsal lunch and the experience was impeccable! We had a very large party and the staff was very attentive and extremely nice. The event room they had us in was extremely clean and very well decorated with soft lighting all over. Our waitress gave us the best recommendations for wines and the pre selected meal consisting steak, beans, and potatoes was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and I will be back.

Brett J.

Yelp
I've had mixed experiences here. One time it was fantastic the other it was meh with a fantastic price tag! Make no mistake this is a steak house. Dark wood, low lighting, white table clothes... all the way to the waiters in suits. The first time i came here was for a work dinner and everything from the aps to the desert was pretty good. Steaks cooked right, the aps were good, and even the desert was a nice finish. This time I came with the family and everything was second rate... the aps were off? The steak just ok, the service poor, and the price was still out of site! I know it can happen with any place but with what they charge... they really need to hit the mark consistently!

Yelp
The most amazing food, atmosphere and the very best service from Luann!! Will definitely be back to Ray's at Killer Creek!!

Yelp
We had a lovely meal tonight. Derrick was a very good server. Prime rib was cooked perfectly medium rare, switch up the masked potatoes for cauliflower and Brussels sprouts . Hubby had the Red fish with a New Orleans twist.

Yelp
We have been coming to Ray's for about 20 years now. This is one of our places to go when we want to celebrate or treat ourselves. We have done brunches, wine dinners & tastings, bourbon tastings, birthday dinners, date nights, family dinners, dinners with friends and tonight- Valentine's Day. We arrived a little early for our reservation but we didn't wait long to be seated. We had a nice table for two. Our server was very prompt and very friendly. We ordered the Valentine Dinner for 2. Our dinner started with the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were a little tough but otherwise had a nice flavor. Our next course was salad. This came with a bread basket as well. Greens were fresh and salad was not over dressed. The focaccia was amazing! Our main course was tomahawk steak & stuffed lobster tail. I only had a few bites of steak (I'm not a big meat eater) . The lobster was very good. The asparagus was just firm enough but not raw. For dessert, I had butter cake. It was so good! That's all. I still love this place. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Today is Mother's Day and this is our second time trying Rays at killer creek and I must say I think this may be this one is my favorite out of all of the three! The ambiance and just overall service was amazing! The food was superior! The buffet is well organized and clean! Ask for Erubiel! He gave supreme service and was so kind and pleasant! Very hospitable with great customer service! He made our special occasion one to remember with his overall an amazing service!

Yelp
2 Stars might seem harsh, but by Yelps definition, 2 Stars is "Could've been better". I think That description is accurate. I have been coming here for 4 years and think my last visit was my last visit. The restaurant is a ghost town and on its last legs. I have experience a very steady and consistent decline in food quality and service over these 4 years. I was excited to see that new management took over, but that actually just dropped quality level substantially and is likely my reason for never returning. At the end of the day, the food doesn't taste good and the menu is bad. The prices remain high for the service and food quality. This is Atlanta fine dining cost at a suburban Outback Steakhouse quality. I've tried the majority of the menu. Story of my "last" visit. The staff was no where to be seen. During my most recent visit, despite calling in. There was no host or hostess. I wandered the restaurant until I found an employee. I ordered the Bone in Ribeye. It was served without any flatware from kitchen staff. I was in a good mood the whole evening, so this didn't bother me at first. I waited about 10 minutes. I Started to walk around the empty restaurant and found a bar tender who had flatware they could give me. The waiter of course shows up about another 10 minutes later and was bothered I found my own flatware and did the whole "I was going to bring it". Overall, poor quality food, poor service, just not a good place to eat anymore.

Yelp
I don't usually give out 5 star reviews, but this one is well deserved. We went here for my girlfriend's birthday and her parents anniversary. We had reservations for 7:30, got there a little early and were seated without a problem. The staff gave them cards signed by everyone for the special occasions. The person serving us was Genesis and she was so much fun, such a uplifting personality. The other staff member approached our table to ask about our experience and to make sure that we were take care of. Way to make people feel comfortable! There was a gentleman that sang happy birthday, his voice is amazing! We sat outside, the view is nice and the weather was a bit cool that evening. The food was pretty decent, i had some chicken dish, it came with linguine, my only complaint is that i wish it was more creamy, like in a white creamy sauce. My girlfriend had shrimp scampi and i can say the same about the noodles being a little dry. Overall, the experience was amazing and we were very happy with the choice of location. Did I mention that it was our first time there? Will definitely be back. PS. You get free dessert for your special occasion, like a birthday, anniversary, etc. (the cherry on top, pun intended)

Yelp
We went for brunch, and plan on going back. This is a great location to visit if you ever get a chance. I loved our waitress, and loved our food. One of the things about this, we did brunch and I am not sure what the rest of their menu is like, but the food was delightful and I really enjoyed that they offered us a fresh cinnamon roll, bringing it right to our table. They had a included balcony area which is right over the creek, but that area was closed the morning we went. They have a private parking lot, which makes it super convenient. We had a reservation when we went, and it is heavily suggested to have one as well, so if you plan on going you should likely get a reservation before you plan on going in.

Jalonna K.

Yelp
This place was very crowded upon arrival which to me signaled that making a reservation beforehand was definitely a smart move. The birthday crew pulled up to celebrate my cousin's bday during Sunday brunch. The brunch is $50/pp and is well worth it! They had all the classic dishes (eggs, bacon, pastries) PLUS a few specialty items like Sone grits, shrimp and grits, crab cakes and made-to-order omelettes! My favorite part of the buffet (excluding bottomless mimosas) was the designated staff member solely responsible for cutting the steak! French toast was a little too sweet but the peach cobbler was truly to die for! For it to be our waiter's (Marcelo) first brunch service, he did extremely we'll. He kept the mimosas coming and even did a little something special for the birthday girl during checkout. **Shoutout to no gratuity being added! I understand the need but also personally hate being bullied into tipping! ‍** The manager came to our table to check in twice during the meal and even sung HBD with us! The outside eating area seemed dated to me and you could see cobwebs in the rafters. Although some of the windows had that dingy film on them, I could see the view's potential. There were also fans going so the heat wasn't unbearable. Cute spot overall but hard to beat Ray's On The River imo. Excited for you to try it out. Let me know what you think!

Jessica R.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful! Everything from the table, lighting, soft playing live music, to the service and food. My husband and I loved it. We will be back!

Taylor B.

Yelp
**Reviewing the Sunday brunch buffet** I dined here for Father's Day & we visiting during the Sunday brunch menu. The ambiance was dim, calming, and reminds you of a fine dining steakhouse, For $50 a person, I believe the variety of food that was offered at the buffet was worth the price. I do believe there should be a kids price or menu offered during this time. Paying $50 for a 5 y/o to eat was hard to swallow: All the items on the buffet line we tried were very tasty. We enjoyed the chicken tenders, crab, prime rib, and more. The food was well replenished, fresh, and displayed in a nice manner. The drinks weren't that strong, but there was a nice variety of options. The buffet room can get kind of tight and hard to maneuver around at peak times & you might have to wait in line for a couple of minute before getting started in the buffet room. I was sad to not see any hand sanitizer anywhere in the room or when people enter. Lastly, the service started out slow, but turned itself around once we asked for some assistance. I can see myself returning at some point for another special occasion.

Yelp
This food is outstanding ! Service is outstanding! I wish I could go here more often , I would go here 2 three times a week if I could it's so good !

Yelp
Tried for the first time tonight. We started with the bbq shrimp appetizer which was good but cold. I had the ribeye. The ribeye was very good and so was the steakhouse lettuce wedge. My wife had the shrimp scampi linguini which she didn't like. The corn crème brûlée was awesome, and the sprouts and cauliflower were good too. Nice building but a little noisy although they had live music which was nice. Service was slow. Despite reservations and getting there early it took over half an hour to get our order placed. Overall food was good but taking off one star for the service and cold app.

Lilliana C.

Yelp
Beautiful, romantic restaurant located in Alpharetta on Foe Killer Creek. We were seated immediately on a Friday night, as there was no wait/need for reservations! The food at Ray's is great. We shared the spinach artichoke appetizer with crispy pita chips, as well as the whipped potatoes and asparagus sides. The chicken picatta entree was delicious! Very fresh and great flavor. The NY Strip and BBQ Shrimp Combo was also good. It came topped with crispy onion rings that were amazing. However, it only came with 3 shrimp and I wouldn't call the sauce it was served with "BBQ".... however, overall Ray's was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back for a nice night out.

Delle C.

Yelp
We went to celebrate friend's 10 year wedding anniversary. Reservation for 11. The server was sparky, to say the least. The service was slow. Took forever for the appetizers to come out and they were cold and mediocre. Dinner entrees were barely warm. It must have been karaoke night because the performers were not good at all. I do not recommend going at all.

Robert P.

Yelp
Booked a private room at Ray's for a rehearsal luncheon celebration. The venue and room were lovely. Food and drinks on point. Service was excellent. Booking and menu selection experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Yelp
Best Sunday brunch. So much seafood and so delicious. A little crowded and loud and the dessert station was only fair but otherwise so worth it.

Eddy H.

Yelp
This was my first visit post COVID. I have always loved their Sunday brunch and now it's back. The French toast, smoked salmon, bacon, prime rib, and pork loin were great. The scrambled eggs, not so much. I always love the creamy scrambled eggs served on brunch buffets at high end restaurants and hotels. These eggs were disappointing. They were overcooked and very dry. The omelette also tasted dry. There was a generous amount of diced smoked ham but little cheddar cheese in the middle of the omelette. I also had to wait for them to bring out more scrambled eggs when I first arrived. The dessert section was a refreshing way to end the meal. The small chocolate mousse and key lime pie cups were lite, sweet and not too filling. The service was decent but not on par with other high end restaurants in the area. For example, I was not served a soft drink refill until my glass was almost empty. The server had to be reminded by the manager to clear the straw wrapper from my table, and when I spilled a little sauce on the table, it was never cleaned. When they cleared my plates each time I went back to the buffet, they provided a new folded napkin but no silverware. Finally, as I was leaving, the hostess didn't thank me or invite me to return, and the prices appear to have gone up. It's now $50 for the Sunday brunch. If I were to return more frequently, I would hope to see the service improve, the scrambled eggs not overcooked, and maybe another high end item, such as eggs Benedict added. If I were only evaluating the service, I would give them 3 stars, but some of the food tasted fresh and flavorful enough to merit 4 stars. Cheers

Tanya J.

Yelp
I loved my crab cakes with asparagus and corn relish & the creamy mashed potatoes were awesome (and I don't like most people's mashed potatoes). K liked his Delmonico steak (8.5/10 which is a winner to him), but we weren't crazy about the 4 cheese macaroni. It tasted like aged cheese or something. The service was phenomenal! Our server, Genesis, even brought us hot washcloths that she added eucalyptus to and was pleased when I recognized the scent. She told us about the Sunday buffet brunch, so we'll have to check it out. It was easy to get a reservation on Opentable, but I had to save my apple pay to hold the reservation. The ambiance is romantic and I really enjoyed the overall experience. The meal for 2 was over $100 so it's not an every week thing; however, we will add this to our list!

Anita K.

Yelp
My first experience was not great. Thanks so much to Alex Stockwell who made the second experience much better. I am a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters. I initially visited with my mentee and her mom. Alex allowed the three of us to return to make up for the first visit.

Ms. H.

Yelp
OMG. Had brunch here on Sunday and it was absolutely incredibly delish. We live 5 min away and went 7 years ago for brunch and didnt like it at all so never went back. Saw the 5-star reviews for brunch recently w comments about the $35pp price and figured we'd try it once again. Glad we did. Quality food items, great variety, tasty and not bland, and great value. We'll back soon. Dont hesitate just go NOW. Service was great too, very clean and nice atmosphere. Cant say enuf great things about this buffet.

Frank M.

Yelp
First time at Rays. It was a really good experience. The place is really nice and feels clean and inviting. The service was really good. Our server made really good suggestions. Cocktails 10/10. Appetizer 10/10 pimento goat cheese fritters. Great balanced flavors. Salad 8/10. Really good wedge salad probably too much dressing. The dressing has good flavor but it was too thick. Delmonico 10/10 one of the best steaks I've had in a restaurant. Great flavor and perfectly cooked. Pecan crusted sea bass with asparragus and puréed purple potatoes (night special) 6/10. Too sweet and grainy pure, asparragus were too thick and fibrous. Very little portion of sea bass. Not a good balanced dish. Gouda twice baked potato 6/10. Baked potato that was hard at the bottom topped with Gouda cheese. Nothing spectacular. Wines 10/10. Will gladly come back to try other options on the menu.

Jessica A.

Yelp
First time here and the service was AMAZING! Our server, Malcom is a dream! He described the menu so well, creating a story about the food, he was welcoming, kind, and intentional. Courtney, the hostess was so sweet! The bartenders were also very kind. Overall aesthetically this place is great and the food is amazing!

Crystal H.

Yelp
Food was phenomenal. Our waiter John was also very knowledgeable in the menu and very attentive. The table had a variety of items: short ribs, filet, lobster, scallops, NY strip, Brussels sprouts, twice baked potato, spinach dip, bread and red velvet. For drinks we had the peach margarita and the sangria! Wow not a single item to report badly about!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Dasia was fantastic! I was with a large group for a birthday party and she took excellent care of everyone! Will definitely be back!!

Annie M.

Yelp
Went here for Sunday brunch & it was absolutely delicious! Sunday brunch is $45/person and they also have bottomless mimosas for $18/pp I believe Giant parking lot for free self parking There were a few chef attended stations including brisket, ham & omelettes Options included some pastries like cinnamon rolls, muffins, bread, French toast, peel n eat shrimp, blue crab dip, bacon, corn fritter, salmon, chicken tenders, salad, grits, fried shrimp, pasta with shrimp, desserts (creme brulee, brownie, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, key lime mousse) I'm probably forgetting something Favorites: Blue crab dip Brisket Chocolate mousse (I ate 1 and half of my husband's ) Least favorites: Salmon (kinda dry under that heat lamp) Shrimp scampi pasta (mostly just tasted like cream and pasta) Service was good although if you need separate checks, tell them when you sit. They won't ask & it was difficult to split the checks up at the end

Tiffany S.

Yelp
I can't say enough nice things about Ray's! We went for the Sunday brunch and while it does require a credit card to make your reservation, it's worth it once you walk in and see what they have. They have anything and everything you'd want- waffle station, cinnamon rolls, fried dough, anything you'd want for breakfast and also prime rib, chicken, Mac and cheese, and pretty much anything you'd like for lunch! They even have a whole table of desserts. Definitely check it out! We'll be back.

Yelp
From the Host stand to the General Manager! AMAZING! Service, food, ambiance!! We went initially one Tuesday evening to celebrate our Anniversary, because the day we got married we had dinner that evening at their sister property, Ray's on the River, this location is only a stone's throw from our home, so we decided to celebrate at this location! The most brilliant idea!! Jess was our server and she was outstanding! We both ordered the rib-eye surf and turf! Generous portion and cooked to perfection and according to our desired temps. We ordered the asparagus and Mac and cheese....again, amazing! My husband absolutely loves old fashions and he had the 88. Oh my! Was it smooth, tasty and packs a punch!! The highlight to this dinner was the table touching by Management! We had a warm greeting and touch from a very nice floor manager! She was amazing. The GM stopped by our table and boy did we go down a rabbit hole of laughs and fun! So as he was there I was scrolling though the restaurant's social media page and noticed that I missed that they had soft shelled crab!! I was too stuffed and was sad at the same time that I missed it! Well, Alex, the GM ordered us soft shell crab to go on him! What a treat that was!!!!! So we ended the evening and as we were walking out the door, the cute and super nice hostess invited to come back and try brunch on Sunday......and now part two! We ended back at this location for Brunch on today! (Sunday)! I just woke up out of a food coma from this brunch!! I don't know where to start!!!! It was amazing!!! Again from host to management with the table touching to the food!! This brunch is not your ordinary brunch! Be warned; you will break any and all diets, you will have no willpower to resist anything on this mouthwatering buffet! Stone crab clusters, shrimp cocktail, prime rib carving station, soup station, shrimp and grits, you name it, it was there! Omg....they have this waygu beef bolognese.......just outstanding! I can't remember everything we sampled but I can say this....it was pretty darn epic! Oh and I forgot to mention the she-crab soup is something you just want to sit and eat all day! The General Manager has done an amazing job creating a great service culture at this restaurant! We have traveled the world and I can say the service team here is top notch! My husband and I are both in the hospitality and culinary world and this team is the dream team! To the Executive Chef, everything that landed on our palettes were impeccable! We are patrons for life!

Simon M.

Yelp
Excellent food and ambiance and our waiter was a blast - he even sang happy birthday to our guest - and could he sing!! Recommended.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great place for Valentines dinner. The meal consisted of apps, tomahawk steak and lobster as well as dessert for fixed price. Was so looking forward to it. We ordered the steak medium and it came out super rare. After waiting 10 minutes, we asked to have the steak redone. The waiter admitted he put the order in wrong. Keep in mind it was already sliced for us. When it came back it was the same steak put back on the grill in pieces and ruined, full of grill grease and reassembled. Why would you do that? Disgusting. Not worth $380 tab for two. Ruined the evening and we just politely left and didn't make fuss and ruin Valentine's Day.

Yelp
First time trying the Sunday buffet and it was good. $18 for the bottomless mimosa Loved the custom omelet option There were various options for the buffet Best thing on there was the salmon

Yelp
Overall food was good but very hot inside and the side of cream spinach was like a cheese dip

Yelp
The brunch buffet was fantastic! Everything I tried was delicious. Our server, Malcom, was not only warm and friendly, but also very prompt with tending to our table. I look forward to coming back!

Yelp
Rating is more like 4.5. We recently went to the Sunday Buffet Brunch at Ray's. We haven't been there in about a year, perhaps in that time the brunch was suspended. We read that the restaurant's have been sold to a large chain and the new owners said they were not making any changes. We were pleasantly surprised to see the brunch advertised at $37! I believe the previous charge was around 50-60. Instead of having all the brunch items in the "bar" room, the entrees are split. Some are still in the "bar" room (mostly breakfast items and deserts) and the "lunch" items are arranged along the kitchen area. To us, this is a better arrangement as, in the past, it got quite crowded in the "bar" room. We were very satisfied with the selection of entrees. No Eggs Benedict (Boo!), is was one of my favorites. No Omelet station, just two types of scrambled eggs. Waffle station had pre-made waffles available. Lunch selection included peel & eat shrimp (nice and firm, good quality), crab cakes (a favorite), prime rib carving station, (I think in the past they also had ham at the carving station), She Crab Soup (delicious!) among other items. The service was very good. One of my measures is how fast someone clears the dirty plate from the table. They did fine, it addition to our server clearing, there were bus people also clearing dirty plates. We will return again, hope nothing changes with the new owners.

Yelp
Food was mediocre. My husband said the crab cakes were no better than he got at Kroogers. I ordered the walnut salad with shrimp. I got 3 whole shrimp for the extra $15.00 and they were small to medium sized. They were also so overcooked that I couldn't cut them nor eat them. I expected way better for $50.00 person. Service and atmosphere were as expected foor an up scale restaurant

Yelp
Nice spot for a date night if you want surf and turf. Good service and I love that they had live music on a Saturday evening. We got: Goat pimiento cheese fritters: Not goat cheesy at all like I feared it might be. In fact, all I tasted was cheddar and a tad of pimiento. The fritters were in golden crispy orbs fried to perfection and the cheese was oozing and gooey on the inside. Caesar salad: The baby gem lettuce reminded me of romaine, which threw me off texturally. I also didn't like their caesar dressing, which was unfortunate considering that's the main focus; it tasted like bottle caesar dressing to me. Lastly, the salad was way too heavily dressed and it made the entire dish inedible for me. This was my least favorite dish. Brussel and cauli: The cauli was the star of this dish as it was roasted to absolute perfection. I think the brussels could've been roasted a tad more, but it was still fine. The tangy sweet dressing/sauce was a treat and this dish was very appetizing overall. Cremini mushrooms: Pretty standard coked mushrooms. Not much to write home about but you get a lot and it's nice if you like mushrooms like I do. Domenico steak (16oz ribeye): It came out a perfect medium rare and it was sliced before being served. Tasty and worth every penny. Lobster tail: We really wanted that surf option and the lobster tail did not disappoint. It was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Key lime pie: This was the star of the night. Fresh whipped cream, velvety tangy lime center and a delicious buttery crust--mm! If I had to say something, the crust was a bit crumbly but nothing I'd cry about. Also, I preferred the key lime without the whipped cream as the whipped cream took away some of that tartness, but it'd work well for those who like lighter, less tangy key lime pies Overall, the mains and desserts were great, with the appetizers and sides needing some work here and there. This is a very solid 4, especially if you consider the ambience and good service.

Yelp
My fiancé made reservations for our date night and we arrived at the location earlier than expected. The hostesses sat us with no problem and we were promptly greeted by our server, John. John was very good and shared menu suggestions with us. The ambiance and music were great! We loved the real carnations on the table! The food was well prepared and flavored perfectly. The portion size was very good at the price point. We will back for another date night!

Yelp
Went as part of a group of 8 for a business dinner. Great atmosphere. Easy to converse at the large table. But the table was crowded. B&B plates, empty wine glasses, table lamps made it hard to open the menu. Our server was very animated. Very entertaining, but turned out to be not so good at service. We ordered several appetizers, including a dozen oysters Rockefeller to share. Overall, the apps were good, although pricy. The oysters didn't arrive. When we mentioned it, the server came back with a plate, after a wait, apologizing for the wait, and offering to take it off the bill. But he only brought a half dozen, so some at the table didn't get one. We ordered dinner. "Did you want some bread with that?" We were charged $15 for 2 small baskets. Seven dinners were delivered to the table. Where is the eighth? About 15 minutes later, the last finally arrived. Around the table: the prime rib was very lean, little flavor and not very tender. The blackened snapper was overcooked, and its bed of jalapeño grits had very little flavor. The steaks were good, and there were no complaints about the other seafood. Overall, the atmosphere and prices were haute cuisine, but the food left a lot to be desired. No more Ray's for this group.

Yelp
Wonderful brunch buffet. The red velvet bread pudding did not look appetizing and was not unfortunately. Great service! The ambiance was wonderful

Yelp
We had the best experience here, for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was excellent and the service was the best. They made our anniversary extremely special.

Yelp
Food was good. Can't go wrong with the ribeye right. Well it was just an over priced cut of meat. The experience was just okay. We had a table of seven celebrating a retirement. We had a few appetizers to share. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The background music was tasteful. The 4 stars I gave was mostly for the atmosphere. Maybe I had my hopes up a little too much. Trying a new restaurant is always fun. We certainly don't mind spending the money for a really nice meal. I just couldn't give the food a high mark. We did take care of the wait staff $$. We left there a little underwhelmed.
