Don't Keep This Place a Secret! Lots of locals when we visited (3 times in 2 days), but if it weren't for my son finding this on Google, we never would have visited. FANTASTIC donuts. Really...Fantastic! When we vacation, we always look for a great donut place, one that can compare to our favorite haunt in Florida. Well, we found it! Ray's rocked it! And the price was very reasonable. Don't miss the opportunity to try it. Worth the drive...from Florida!

Saturday morning. Noon. No waiting. Pleasant greeting. I tried the freshest old fashioned donut to ever grace my lips. The glaze was glazing! I wasn't sure about trying the maple bacon donut, but the flavors are a match made in heaven. So soft and delicious with just enough fresh fried bacon crumbles. The chocolate covered old fashion is worth coming back for. Best Cheat Day Ever!!

Watch out for the dangerous guy attacking people who won’t give him money both inside and outside the shop. It’s too bad because the owners are actually really sweet and very personable. The food comes out quickly and is always tasty. No matter how busy, they greet every single person warmly. I sounds crazy but that’s what makes it worth it to still go here. It’s a trade off. You’ve been warned. Enjoy your donut:)

I had it for the first time the day before I'm posting this and I went here again today because it's so good. Scrumptious 😭. I had the breakfast burrito and whatever breakfast sandwich that is #14. I'll be coming more often.

go to order: cinnamon sugar donut, egg & cheese on a croissant, orange juice. the sandwich will come out piping hot in less than 5 minutes! get here before 10a to snag the most popular donuts. cream cheese filled donut & blueberry cake donut are good backup options, but skip the watery coffee. friendliest staff. fave donut shop in ATL!

I've had Ray's donuts before but this was my first time going there in person. As soon as I walked in I was so happy to notice they also serve bubble tea! Which is very sweet btw so don't forget to stir. Granted I asked for less ice so it wasn't as diluted. I was originally was going to buy half a dozen but the lady at the counter threw in an extra donut for free if I bought 7 😋

I loooooove Ray’s Donuts. Lately I’ve been trying out different locations and I can say for sure that this is in my top three. This location, Tara blvd and Alpharetta. This location and Tara has the BEST Thai tea. It’s so sweet, just the way I like it 🤤🧋. My sandwich was great too. Of course food always tastes better when it’s made with love and great customer service and that’s exactly what u received. I devoured my food. Definitely recommend! My donuts were really good too! Fresh and soft and the perfect dessert after my delicious breakfast 🥰

My class got a couple dozen of donuts to share since we had an assignment that brought us in that area. Since we were in a midst of exams, it was a delicious and sweet treat we thoroughly enjoyed! Prices were fair from what I heard so I will certainly be checking them out again and recommend others to do the same!

Very kind people working here. Service was very quick. All types of people stopping in for quick breakfast. Donuts were really good. Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel is wayy better than stop to any regular chain restaurants. Nice cut bacon and comes out quick and hot. Not very busy on a Wednesday morning. Relaxed energy.

Stopped here on a fluke after looking on yelp for a good donut place. It may not look like much on the outside but the donuts are hands down the best I've ever had. Their cake donuts were light and moist and I swear there's a hint of cardamom in the plain one. I also tried their glazed (melts in your mouth and has the perfect amount of sweet) ,strawberry cake, strawberry cheese filled and the maple bacon. The maple bacon was just ok to me, but the rest were so good I made a point of driving out of my way just to get more the last time I was in Atlanta just to get more.

I love this place. I don't know what I like better. The amazing customer service? Or the great bubble tea or pastries? I don't know but I love everything I've tried here. You might be like me and every time I would pass this place it was always closed. (They close at 6 but are open most days even on sundays) But trust me if you ever pass it in there open, you definitely want to give this place a try Drinks: I absolutely love Boba tea. I have had the Thai tea which is always good with extra Bobas in it and today I ordered the mango and peach slushy with extra bobas in it. It was very good. A little on the Sweetside but it didn't ruin the drink. But I did have a strong peach and strong mango flavor that I liked. Customer service: I love how every time I come here I am always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. If I could give them 10 stars for the customer service I definitely would. They are more than helpful when I ask questions and they always have a smile on their faces and it is a pleasure just to visit here. Donuts/pastries: Today I had a blueberry muffin and a man with a blueberry muffin good moist. All the donuts I've ever purchased from here we're good. There was only one donut I didn't care for and that was a donut that had fruity pebbles on it and the fruity pebbles were stale. Breakfast: The first time I came here I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant. I expected to wait about five minutes for it. (they had one of the best bacon egg and cheese croissants I ever had) and it was ready in about two minutes. It was hot, fresh and soooo good.

Solid morning donut stop! Sometimes the best donut shops aren't the ones that try to get too fancy, but instead stick to the basics. That's what Ray's does, and boy oh boy do they do it well! These are the perfect accompaniment to a steaming cup of coffee. They had a great variety of cake and yeast donuts and also had multiple flavors of fritters, which you don't see everywhere!

Got a chance to enjoy the fresh morning donuts. They were delicious. Strawberry twist was my favorite.

We went to Ray's Donuts at 11:45 am on a Monday. They had most of the donuts available, but they were running out - even on a Monday! So get there early! The person working was so sweet and patient! We ordered a half dozen, but she gave us one for free! She was wearing a mask, but masks are not required for customers. It's SO cheap! We got 6 donuts (plus the one for free) for $6.47! Here's what we got, in order of preference: - Cinnamon Sugar: Soo good. Perfection. - Blueberry Fritter: Very good!! - Glazed: Quality original donut! - Sour Cream: The one we got might've been a little overdone, burnt even, but I still liked the taste of it! - Boston Cream: The filling was good and I normally don't like filled donuts that much. - Chocolate Sprinkle: I didn't like the chocolate icing on top. Wouldn't recommend. - Strawberry Cake: Tasted very processed. Wouldn't recommend. Maybe the Blueberry Cake might've been better, but we didn't want to get two blueberry donuts. I definitely recommend Ray's Donuts! There are multiple locations, so find the one closest to you!

I just ate the best donut I've ever had! I'm having a maple bacon, and the toppings are great, but the donut itself melts in my mouth. I'm a donut fiend, and when I tell you these donuts are amazing, you can take it to the bank! The selection is very good, not incredibly extensive, but definitely something for everyone. Lots of cake donuts, plenty of yeast donuts. Besides the maple bacon, we also got strawberry cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake, apple fritter, Boston cream, vanilla cream, red velvet cake, and chocolate cake. It's probably a really good thing we only visit here and don't live here, because the temptation to come every day would be hard to resist!

Service was very amiable. Was provided a fresh cup of coffee upon request without hesitation.

Their yeast donuts are incredibly airy & fluffy - & I normally like cake better. The blueberry fritter came highly recommended, & it did not disappoint. You could tell that they used real blueberries, & the flavor came through . The sour cream was a little burnt & didn't taste as moist like some I've had, but it was still decent. I've never had an OG glaze that beat Krispy Kreme's, but this one came close! Favorite: Cinnamon sugar. The rise in this yeast donut was unmatched, & biting into it was heavenly. Least favorite: Strawberry cake. Unfortunately, the strawberry was artificial & tasted like bubblegum. Super nice people, we got half a dozen & she gave us a free 7th just because! I would definitely come back here. Also SUPER cheap!! $5.99 for a half dozen

Oh my god. These donuts are amazing. I think I might like them more than Sweet Apple Donuts and Sara Donuts. Ray's Donuts is a Vietnamese-owned mom & pop donut shop. I believe they have expanded and now have several locations all over Georgia. This is their 4th location. My bf and I opted to go to this location because it closes at 6pm. We got there between 1pm and 2pm and they still had a large variety to choose from. We ordered a dozen donuts. Some of the ones I remember are red velvet, chocolate glazed, apple fritter, sugar donut, fruity pebbles donut, blueberry, strawberry shortcake, and buttermilk donut. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of the donuts here. The cake donuts are so pillowy and moist. The yeast donuts are delicious too but don't hold up as well after a day, whereas the cake donuts are still the same consistency the next day. I especially loved the red velvet donut, apple fritter, and the buttermilk donut. My bf and I tried the buttermilk donut and our eyes almost popped out of our heads. It was rich, decadent, delicious, and almost savory - very unique in my opinion. You should definitely get it. Service was great. They are so nice here! Can't beat the prices either.

The donuts are great! My only complaint (which is concerning) the Boston crème donuts legit tasted like nail glue or some acrylic! I can't make this up. The dough had a strong chemical taste of some type of nail solution but the crème itself was just fine. Had to spit it out. Thank God my 2 yr old didn't eat it before I tasted them. A waist of money cause that was the main thing I purchased. It just has me side eyeing what's in the food even more so. Really sad cause I've been coming ever since moving on this side of town. This is the only accident I've come across but it's more serious cause what does nails and donuts have to do with each other?

Donuts we're fresh--not overly fussy, but good. Small place, medium lime, prices More than fair. The staff was friendly--offered extra donut and coffee supplies (real cream, sugar, etc) place was clean and whole experience was great.

I loved this place! They had a great amount of donuts everything smells very fresh, granted I did go in the morning so I would hope it smells very fresh. There is only one woman working there but luckily it wasn't busy. This place had Thai iced tea which I was very excited about, And I could alter the amount of sugar I wanted in it and usually when I drink Thai iced tea they tell me that I can't so this makes me give it a five star rating because I never had a chance to do that anywhere else except here. I had a red velvet doughnut which was great. Coffee was from coffee pot which is also hot and fresh. They had filled donuts but you're also a really really good. Also had a breakfast sandwich which was made to order, all of this took some time since it was only one person working there I'm sure that they have help now..Definitely worth stopping by for a snack!

By far the best Donut ever I go to the one in marietta Kennesaw, Border.my favourite is the glazed ones then the Apple fritters is very good the staff is real courteous go early because the donuts finished very fast they open at 5 am

This donut spot is the bomb.com!! I've been here a couple of times now and I'm glad I always forget this place is here...if I didn't, I would weigh 1,000 lbs by now lol. When I'm in the mood for a good donut, there is little else that can satisfy that craving. Luckily Ray's comes to the rescue every time. Their yeast donuts are beautifully light and airy. The real star of the show is the maple bacon!! I also love some melt in your mouth donut holes. This local small business never disappoints and the service is always stellar. I'm so glad to see this mom and pop shoppe survive COVID and I hope they continue to thrive for decades to come. Next time you are in the mood for donuts, skip the nasty dunkin situation and get a freshly prepared donut from Rays. You will NEVER go back to dunkin again!!

Now if you want some really good non-commercialized donuts This is definitely the place to get them from! They are fresh they are big they're oh so good and even have breakfast sandwiches made to order which are pretty good. They have smoothies and coffees which I have not tried yet but from waiting in line and observing the people ordering the drinks I'll definitely be trying soon. I took three dozen to my staff at work and they were like you have to go back and get some more. The customer service is even good. This is one eatery on Candler Road that I will definitely keep returning to because of the customer service and they keep the restaurant clean.

The donuts were soft, fresh, and good! I've taken a hiatus from donuts because of the stiffness of the donuts.

In a world of expensive artisan craft things where you get charged a lot of money for something plain and ordinary, it's refreshing to see plain, ordinary, CHEAP AND GOOD! I've been here twice and both experiences have been more than my expectations. I've stopped by for a coffee and one donut, it came out to $2.11! The owner threw in a few extra munchkins which I was surprised to see since it stuck to my donut, I thought it was a deformed donut but to my surprise, they were munchkins. I came back the next day for half a dozen and I got 1 extra donut as well. Cheap, good, great service. I'll be back!

Amazing donuts and service! I have never tasted more fresh donuts in my entire life, and I have led a life full of donut eating, just ask the elastic in my eating pants. It seems to be family owned and run, and anyone who has served me there has been nothing but pleasant and helpful. They always throw in a few extra donut holes into my order, much to the chagrin of my previously mentioned eating pants. They're quick and efficient; even with a line up, they're quick to process everyone's order and keep the line moving. They always have coffee and donut deals, and the coffee is as fresh as the donuts. 11/10 times would go here before considering one of the surrounding chains.

As a Cali native, this is a DONUT SHOP the selection is great, and fresh . I got an egg and cheese croissant, chai tea, and red velvet donut. Topped with great customer service from Kimpa I found my new spot , you don't be disappointed!

I saw this place in Nextdoor Digest and wanted to support since I was in the area. I actually got there about 2:30pm and to say that this donuts was still Fresh and Good is an understatement. The service was Great and her personality was very sweet. I will Most Definitely be returning!!!

The donuts are very fresh and delicious. I've really like the breakfast croissants. They are cooked well, crispy and flaky.

The prices are good, I have only tried the donuts and coffee which was nice and fresh.

Went at 10:30 on a Monday morning and not much left to choose from but what I did get was VERY GOOD. I went here because Revolution was closed. The yeast doughnuts are nice and fluffy and not super sweet, which is a nice change. The Bear Claw had a small lovely apple filling that I think may be made in house. It didn't have that "canned" taste and was finely chopped with no extra sweetener to offset the glaze. They also threw in some free doughnut holes. My wife loved the chocolate, had a great flavor and again this must be made daily Will definitely be a return customer.

Gone way way downhill. Once very good , the donuts now lack flavor, have become so light and airy that they lack structure and chew , the maple icing has a diluted and odd taste, and the buttermilk bars became very small before vanishing completely because "the batter mixture was too hard to get". All seem to indicate cost cutting at the expense of quality.

Best donuts I've ever had. Haven't been there since, however. I recommend people checking out this place if you are a donut lover like me

So hapoy I finally stopped in to check this place out. The donuts were extremely fresh & they had ny favorite sugary yeast donut! It was sooo light & fluffy. The place had a great selection on a Sunday morning & super nice service. So much better to support a local business where you get great quality and a smile. Ooohh & they have boba tea, breakfast burritos & breakfast sándwiches too.

The freshest tasting donuts in Atlanta, small family owned place. Order your breakfast sandwhiches ahead of time so you don't have to wait too long, very busy in the morning.

Solid bakery-style doughnuts. I've been a few times over the last few months and each time the service was excellent and the doughnuts just as good. The hardest part is picking a favorite, the are all pretty good. Go early for the best selection.

I have to move away from the area or find a gym nearby. With my hand in my heart I can safely say That these are THE BEST DONUTS IN THE UNIVERSE From the texture to the fresh ingredients to clearly great oil to fry them in... I do not feel I have overindulged even after a four doughnut session. The doughnuts here are delicious! I've been wanting to stop in for a while and finally got a chance while heading in to work. It's located in South DeKalb county not too far from downtown Decatur. There's plenty of free parking available. I was surprised to see that the store was empty when I went around 8:30 am. A lady greeted me immediately and offered assistance. They have a nice variety of doughnuts and some breakfast sandwiches. I opted for sour cream & blueberry cake doughnuts. Both were delicious and very fresh. The price was a little over $2. With the great service, yummy doughnuts and great prices, I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone in the mood for a treat.

When I went in early today I couldn't understand the person behind the counter when I asked her for a description of the twisty thing in the case! So I left and looked it up on the Yelp app! It said it was a strawberry twist! Now I love anything strawberry but when I bit into this there was nothing in it that tastes like strawberries! Now don't get me wrong, it was very good, light, sweet and tasty. But it tasted nothing like strawberries! One of the things I dislike about fried pastries is they tend to leave that greasy feeling and a greasy after taste in your month! Unfortunately this strawberry twist did just that for me!

Hella good. Reminds me of the pink box donuts I'd get back home in San Diego. If your donut craving kicks in later in day, call ahead to make sure they still have what you want. They sell out quick.

I love donuts but most donuts sold here are too damn sweet or too cakey for me to like. I love light airy donuts minus the boatload of sugar. My husband stumbled upon this donut place near us and decided we try some. So he went in and came back out with half a dozen. They were so good! They were light & airy and not too sweet. And most of all, they were very very affordable!!! This little stand-alone building is along the busy candler road south of Memorial Drive. You have to keep your eyes peeled cos you might miss it if you blow pass the traffic junction. Go in and stock up, they close @ 6pm.

The donuts were AMAZING, and so freshly made. I also tried the Kolache and it's was sooo GOOD. My family and I will definitely be back!!!!

Just tried this place out--pretty so so. We had the ham, bacon, egg and cheese croissant. It was fairly tasty, but the combination of the bacon and ham seemed to be a bit much. The ingredients seemed to be of marginal quality. Not the best breakfast sandwich I ever had. We also had some of the donuts: the blueberry cake, the crumb, and the coconut cream. The blueberry was by far the best. The flavor was nice, not too sweet, and it had a pretty moist consistency. The other donuts were a tad below mediocre. All in all we weren't too impressed. Recommendations: invest in higher quality ingredients. It's a financial sacrifice, but in the long run, you will create more of a demand for your product, and not just on the basis of convenience.

Cute little donut spot. Walk up and order at the window. We love having this in our neighborhood and being able to walk over on weekends. Great donuts. Perfectly soft and not too sweet. We love Rays.

SUPER excited to see this place finally open after driving by the "Coming Soon!" sign for so long, and we were not disappointed! Clean store, friendly staff, and the donuts are excellent! Very happy to finally have a donut (and coffee) place in the neighborhood that isn't a stale chain!

Donuts always fresh, they bake same day. The donuts are not from package shipment. Coffee is old school fresh and hot. The fridge with creamer is always clean. Top notch Service is great Thanks
