George (manager) and Jess (waitress) were PHENOMENAL. What a wonderful experience I had as a first timer. I was VERY impressed. The name itself was a bit frightening, but I must say, the rat toes were amazing. Everything ordered was plentiful, delicious, and well worth the prices. The atmosphere was very attractive and welcoming (clean and inviting). My overall experience again was phenomenal.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Razzoo’s thanks to my server, Porcia. From the moment I sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely engaged with me. She didn’t just take my order—she created an experience. Porcia was attentive without being overbearing, personable in a way that made me feel valued as a guest, and she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout my visit. Her energy and professionalism were unmatched, and it’s clear she truly cares about her guests having the best time possible. Servers like Porcia make dining out memorable, and she is a shining example of exceptional service! Razoo’s is lucky to have her!!! :)

Molly was awesome and on point. Jolly spirit and kept a smile until we walked out the door with the Newlyweds. Thanks, Molly and The Crew. You deserve a 10! The service was good, had my grandson dancing to the music.

First time in, great stuff! Lindsey was waiting on us and was very happy to have the attention and her checking on us as often as she did. Food came out quick and serving size was larger then expected which made it for me. Couldn't finish the skillet, wish I could've. Will come back.

Porcia was a great waitress! She gave us suggestions that turned out amazing, helped us figure out how much crawfish and crab we would need for our party of 5 and checked on us in a timely manor. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We were visiting here and came to this location, and so glad we did. From hostess up front to our incredible lady that waited on us, Lindsay, it was the best experience ever. Server was perfect checked on us frequently and made sure our order came out right. Food came out quick as well. Been to other razoos and my experience here definitely stood out!

We celebrated my boyfriend Jordan’s birthday at Razzoo’s, and Adrian truly made the night special! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, patient, and attentive — he kept our drinks full, made great menu suggestions, and had such a positive energy that really added to the celebration. He made sure everything came out fresh and just how we ordered it, and even checked in multiple times to make sure we were having a great birthday dinner. You could tell he genuinely cared about his guests. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal — thank you, Adrian, for making our night so fun and memorable! We’ll definitely be back soon.

10/10 service , our server was darwin & he made sure we had everything everything we needed! Good was good too!! & came by fast!!

Had a great meal at Razoos the food was great and the service provided by Porsha was excellent. They provide you with the perfect amount of food. We were treated with the hostess opening the door and welcoming us in. There was not wait and the food came out promptly we will definitely be back.

I visited this restaurant at 4 PM and I was extremely disappointed in the service and the ignorance of the wait staff that ignored me, but when white patrons arrived, they were able to get seated and get their food while before I did, despite the fact that I had been here waiting first for over 15 minutes before someone would even come to my table in the bar area. In fact, I happened to notice that the waitress had to be told to come serve me by the manager, and openly displayed a bad attitude about being told to come to my table. I'm not a picky person, but when people give me reason to notice that they are trying to avoid serving me or helping, I think that it becomes obvious that I need to write the post for a review. I had waited unattended for 15 minutes before getting a glass of water on the table while sitting at a booth in the bar area. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, so it wasn't busy. It just makes the over all experience horrible and I am disappointed and wish I hadn't come here. After I watched several white patrons get their food and appetizers before me, I had to say something to the waitress --and then my food came. To add insult to injury the food was completely cold, and it ruined my appetite. The waitress didn't come check on me either, so I packed the cold food and asked for the check. This is just not a place that I think respect diversity and when they see a black face, they just think that it's going to be a not positive experience. I didn't get my food until 4:45 pm and there was nobody in the restaurant. Contrast to popular belief, black patrons are very classy and respectful, and it just seen my Fay have a problem with serving blacks at this location . I hate being treated otherwise. This place gets a thumbs down and it's just not a place that I would frequently give my business .

I placed an order for the CREOLE PORK CHOPS without the jalapeño sauce. I am not feeling well today but I know I need to eat. I ordered for dessert the KEY LIME PIE . I initially chose no whipped cream changed my mind and it melted in transit. Food is always A+ for this Louisiana native

The 2 stars is for our great waitress and the speediness of the food. It came out hot, ready, and unflavored the Gumbo, the catfish basket, the green beans, and red beans and rice tasted as if they didn't even use Cajun seasoning. I mean that's all it could have used. It LOOKED good but it was terribly bland. For the price, I could have just went to the other Cajun restaurant for $3-4 more, IJS!

Haven't been since before Covid but went in for a quick lunch. I ordered the zydeco pasta, chicken, and asked server to add sausage. She said there would be a charge (did not specify) and I agreed, as in the past I've ordered this dish and was charged $3 for a sliced link. Well this time around, not only was the portion less than half a link, but I was charged (dead serious) $8!!!! Eight bucks for like 6 small slices of sausage. I was dumbfounded, and the server was like "I told you it would be extra." Well, Razzoo's, if this is your new standard, I assume you will be closing soon just like your old neighbor. VERY disappointed.

We went to eat on national Margarita day so I expected it to be very busy. When we got there we were immediately seated. The drinks and the food was good. The lunch portion of the pasta was just what I needed. The bread pudding was very good and was just enough to share. I will be back.

The 2 for $20 special was super fantastic, and a great value. I had the cajun fried chicken which was deliciously tender. I also ordered the pasta, which was tender and had a creamy sauce. For my appetizer choice, I got the Canal Street combo, which included a bed of fried pickles, 2 Rat Toes, and 2 boudin balls. Needless to say I have a lot of food to take home and enjoy later. And my server, Tori, was no slouch either. It was "thanks to her" that I found out about the special.

Portcia was nice, friendly and attentive to our needs. This location was clean and the food was good and the right temperature.

COCKROACHES! ROACHES!!!!! ROACHES!!! When we shared that we saw cockroaches on our table, the restaurant manager was unbothered. I asked the server if they were used to seeing roaches here and she said yes. Gross!

The food was amazing and the service (Desriee) was good. Atmosphere was relaxing. I strongly suggest this location to anyone in this area.

The food was so good... I went in not knowing what to expect and came out a customer for life. the food was great, our waiter was on point And the food came out so fast it scared me But the food was fresh and hot. I believe my favorite dish of the night was the blackened fish Po Boy. I'll finish up by saying that I've only dined in once and I've only ever been into one location so experiences may vary. *Poor *Decent *Good *Great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Food. Great Service. So where should I start...Hmmm let me start by saying Mmmm and Mmmm. The Boudin Balls had the right amount of spice nicely fried and oh so good. Hubby had the Cajun Combo Skillet this meal came with Grilled andouille, shrimp Creole, crawfish e'touf'ee, red beans & garlic toast. He truly enjoyed his meal and I enjoyed tasting all of it. Lol. My meal I had the Hurricane Salmon which is Grilled salmon fillet brush with sweet & spicy Hurricane glaze. I substituted the mash potatoes for beans & rice and corn on the cob. Razzoos someone is doing something so right in that kitchen. Everything was wonderful. This was our first stop while visiting Mesquite/Dallas and I'm so glad we came here first. Ohh and have to mention Jesus our waiter was great. Had to edit my review because forgot to say please do not leave without trying the Bread Pudding! Perfectly made I tell you perfectly made!

Ordered Razzoo's to go today and got shrimp wrapped jalapeño appetizer and chicken wings extra crispy. Let's start with the shrimp... The shrimp had the tail on it (which was fine) but it was wrapped in bacon that was soggy and undercooked, literally inedible. Now onto the best part... The chicken wings . I ate the wings in a darker room, and I noticed they tasted funny, took the box to my kitchen and voilà Bloody uncooked, pink chicken , actually, not even pink... More like red.. the wings were basically still on it. I'm still in shock that I even ate that. Ugh, there is no excuse for this.

We haven't been to Razoo's for a few months and the portion size changed! Our catfish used to be huge portions, where I always had a to go box to take home. Now, the fried catfish portions are less than 6 in. For 17.99 you would think the fish would be the star of the plate. I will say the server was friendly and quick with our drinks and appetizer. The dinner itself took over 40 minutes to arrive at our table. Rethinking about returning in the future.

I think about the one thing about Razoos I love the most has to be its consistency. Yes, I do tend to order the same thing each time. Jalapeño catfish, rat toes and beer. The rat toes came out uncooked or under cooked, fortunately wife kept me from finding out, since she tried one first. They quickly took it back and a new plate came out done perfectly. These things will happen, especially with the turn over in staff. That seemed pretty apparent to me. Beer was great had to split from Dos Xxs to Modelo, due to them running out of the first.

Love razoos rat toes are my fav it's my go to when I want a fun setting and it's close to my house and we do happy hour here often no complaints from me the service it's excellent better than some of the expensive spots

I'm a regular guest & I stopped by for Fat Tuesday & the staff and managers were providing 5 star service even though the place was packed inside & out! Charles, Eric, & Scott were doing an excellent job making sure everything was running smoothly and that everyone was being taken care of. I ordered crawfish & drinks and everything was perfect and I was served in a timely manner! This is the best location. The food is always fresh & hot and they have the best staff! Chelsea, Shelby, Jessica, & Logan do a great job handling the bar area & serving while making everyone feel welcome & being super attentive! I really appreciate them & will continue to visit weekly!

This establishment is low class I was discriminated by the high school aged hostesses from the moment I walked in just to be told I had 10 mins to order only to accommodate their demand and then be shot down by a bartender that looked 8-9 months pregnant that told me she couldn't serve my drive order only to Walk to the bar to see the two ingredients my drink needed for her to run to get a manager and say I cursed her out clearly playing on the fact I was a black male I was respectful and courteous only to decline the food and service and have employees follow me to my car I hope this location closes soon

my husband and i visited this location for a night out . and the service was AMAZING , our server Taekeea was so kind and helpful she helped us make a very delicious decision. if you are looking to eat some good cajun food and have a good time this is the place to go, and if u can ask for Ms.Taekeea , She will take care of you ! . keep up the good work Razzoo's !!!

This is a amazing place to come for a quick lunch or late dinner or simple for some beers. Theirs crawfish is sooo good and spicy can't forget about the fried pickles and get services coming thought the door

So I will like to leave this review because this is not a cheese burger and my patte is black and this not even cheese they did not even give me Kentucky and gave me rip off cheese I recommend for you not to come plus they only give you 12 Fries but then you going to have zero because your pearnt eat all of it so don't come here.

Well. I went here with my friends after the movies. LORD. that stuff was HORRIBLE. those "spicy" wings?? WAS NOT spicy.

Waited 30 minutes for an old fashion drink, went to the bar twice spoke with the manager Tia, who has a serious attitude problem, and is not an effective manager. Got our food for 5 person table to before I ever got my drink. Luckily Wanda came by to check on us, remade my drink and got us refills. She definitely saved our little Valentine early dinner

So I went to Razoos in Mesquite tonight and ordered the gator as an entree and what i received was an appetizer portion. My sides were the fries in the picture and a side salad. I asked for cheese and eggs on my salad and they charged me $2. The receipt is evidence that I was charged for entree-received appetizer portion. Charged for the salad that counted as a side. Charged $2 for cheese & eggs even though it's supposed to come on the salad. Charged for bacon I didn't order. I don't mind paying but please let me know before hand that you're going to charge me for the salad extras. The salad came out with the food that was lukewarm after waiting... 10 minutes to get our drinks, 20 minutes for 1 appetizers and 30 minutes for our warm almost cold food. I asked my waitress (Honesty) if the food in the picture was an appetizer or an entree. She said, "I think it's an entree but sometimes they are stingy with the food." I didn't ask for the manager because it was my friend's birthday and I didn't want to ruin it any further but the manager came over. He said, "so someone over here was short something." I said, "yes my gator but I'm just going to add it to my salad and make it work." He said, "ok great." I called back to the place and asked for the manager's name and the young lady said, "why are you asking?" I said, "because I had an issue earlier and I'd like to speak to him about it." She said, " well I can't just give you his name." I said, " you can either get your manager to the phone or I can come up there tomorrow and speak to the manager about the incident and about you." The manager finally came to the phone. He remembered me and the gator I had placed on the salad. He said it looked like an entree portion to him. He offered no apology, no compensation or anything. He asked for my name so he could thank me for calling in with my concern and he never offered me his name. Please if you are wanting seafood... go somewhere else!!!! It's a waste of your time and money and you can't get either of them back!!! I was going to contact corporate but I guess this is just how Razoos is running their business now! This Razoos in Mesquite has gone downhill and it's quite disappointing because it used to be the place to be!

The food is good for the most part, but the portions of catfish has gotten smaller like kids fish strips. They give you less food for your money. That's why I go to Juicy seafood and bar for my fish. I get my money worth there.

Great food and great place to have fun and catch up with my friends the drinks were also very good always a great time

Service was a bit slow, but the server was really nice. Food was great, I possibly just caught them at a busy time. But I would recommend, and I will be returning soon. Drinks were also very tasty :))

Service sucked.Our server only had one table ours with a party of 3. She came over took our order and never came back until it was time for use to get the check. I had to go get my own refill. We felt her vibe was off but really didn't think anything, she never told us about the special never checked on us. We were totally ignored the entire evening. Hannah made our first time experience the absolutely worst.

The service was ok, not fully knowledgeable, on what's served from the menu or the ingredients in it, I specifically told the waitress I was allergic to okra, when I ordered the gumbo, which is one of my favorite dishes so I know some people add okra to the dish, she didn't take the time to find out or even check the gumbo before bringing it to the table, after one spoonful, I noticed it had okra in it, and it ruined my whole date because I was sick the rest of the night!!! Other than that great food!!! The atmosphere was mostly family and was annoyed to be on a date away from my kids, to be sat around all families with crying and very active kids, felt like I was eating in an upscale Chuck E. Cheese!! The drinks were well priced and taste delicious, but for the long time it took to come to the table, it was worth the wait

Food was great. Love the $5 happy hour.i had the best waiter Cal. Was there everytime I needed and made lots of suggestions on what to get. Big quantity of food for the money. I'll be back to see Cal

My only thing bad to say is my Mardi Gras Margarita was water down. I had to send back and then went ahead and changed the drink completely. The crawfish was good and my mom loved her catfish

Food looks better than it tasted unfortunately. The Rat toes were the best thing we had. The stuffed shrimp (seafood stuffing) was just alright. The green beans are in a heavy gravy with lots of meat, and the dirty rice was bland. The drinks (Hurricane & The Worm Burner) & Service were the BOMB!!

When we walked in we were sat promptly. Issue was our server never came. Like we waited 10 mins and nothing. So we moved to the bar. Completely changed the experience. The bartender (Chelsea I think and manager Janet) were fabulous. Food came put fast and tasted great. Bar is where to sit.

Darn shame that the hush puppies do not come with the meal anymore. Another way for them to charge more by making them a side dish.

First thing, the men's bathroom was NASTY. Urinal was out of service, went into a stall and there was S*+% all over the toilet seat. trash was all in the floor and it was very unsanitary. I should have left then, but had already ordered my food. The fondue tasted straight out of a box as did my shrimp entree. very disappointed. i should have known better when i went to a "Cajun" restaurant so far away from actual Cajun territory. i would rate it a -5 if it was possible. Nasty, nasty, nasty

Good food and chill environment. Bartender was super nice. A combination of Cajun and Texas; good gumbo.

Service was eh, but I've had worse, the guy forgot my drink for a while and my sides came out before the meal (lol what's the point). The worse part was the fruit flies I found hanging out in my drink after having a hearty amount of sips. I was absolutely disgusted, the manger cared less. Didn't do anything to comp the experience. Probably won't be returning.

Went here 1-05-23 the food was great and our waitress was really good. The manager was probably the best i have seen in a long time. He was busting his butt and taking care of the customers. Definitely will come back.

Ms. Janet educated my gf on the seafood. They have here. Bc of a allergic reaction from the shell fish. She came and sat down an spoke to us in a polite manner. She was very nice. She made her a salad. Thank you ! Girl Power!

The mesquite location services portion that a baby would not get full on. we got talpia one piece and this was suppose to be a dinner portion small amount of rice and the green beans were in a small cup and it was not even half full. don't waste your money I spent 34.00 for nothing in return didnt even get full. spoke to the manger he was useless did offer anything in return. I will not spend my money on a kids meal. total crap. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

My boyfriend and his friend went here for lunch yesterday 1/18/23. They got extremely bad food poisoning, did anyone else experience this?

The food was great and reasonable, the only complaint I would have is if you have a big party they won't seat you until everyone is there. They sat me without all my party there but it's only because they weren't busy.

Ok, have I been sleeping on Razzoo's? We seriously have not been to eat here in years. They have revamped the menu, my drink the Swomp Thing was more delicious than ever, and the prices are so reasonable. I would literally just have Cajun Fondue for a whole meal (we ordered ours with all the meats). Had a wonderful time, but our waitress was not very attentive (hence, the stars!)
