Where to Find All the New Foods at the 2019 Minnesota State Fair, Mapped - Eater Twin Cities

"RC’s has two entries in the new foods category this year. Nachos with a barbecue chip base topped with buffalo chicken, blue cheese fondue, pickled jalapeños, tomatoes, green onions and blue cheese crumbles. Plus, a brisket stuffed grilled cheese sandwich with red onion jam, cheddar, pepperjack, and RC’s spicy barbecue sauce." - Joy Summers

The Pulled pork sandwich was really good. Their bbq sauce is delicious. The pulled chicken sandwich is good as well

Worst food I had at the fair last year. Been going to the fair for 34, will be 35 years now. Never been so let down as I was by the Maui-Sota Sticky Ribs. Lines were long, price was high, ribs were the worst ribs and fair food that I've ever had. The ribs were dry, the meat (the miniscule amount that existed) was sticky, as in it stuck to the bone. The sticky sauce was fine. Completely underwhelming. Was once again intrigued by their new Sweet Heat Crunch Bacon, but the memories from last year's dud make this a stay away at all costs kind of place. Be warned if you go here, feels like a shameless cash grab for terrible BBQ.

We got the fair special of crunchy bacon and pork belly. Taste was good, but really sweet. The hitch was the only got four pieces of pork belly, way too little for the cost.

I went there to listen to Blues music. I heard Good Time Willy Blues band. The beer is cold. Good food. There are people who keep the tables clean and clean up after sloppy people. I go every year. Always had a good experience.

Small portions, bland, and overpriced (which is a given when they're serving small amounts of bad food...) For $14 I got three rib tips, two were nothing but fat and bone, one had a tiny strip of meat. Which was meh. I had high hopes for the toast being the most valuable part of the "meal" until I realized it was half a slice of un-buttered Walmart white bread. Don't even get me started on the smoked chicken sandwich, with it's three shreds of flavorless dry chicken on a stale crumbly bun.

The Naughty Biscuit is one of the worst, most overpriced dishes I've ever had ($10 a piece at the state fair). Maybe they have other dishes that are worth the price, so I'm giving it two stars instead of one.
