"While this Wake Forest gem favors North Carolina State for college football and the Carolina Hurricanes for hockey, owner Ben Thomas says there’s a broad fan base representing a multitude of teams around on game days. Traditional bar snacks like loaded cheese fries, pickle chips, and the oft forgotten but delicious potato skins anchor the menu, but expect refined fare like shrimp and grits and a 12-ounce ribeye to give a range of options, just like the fan base." - Elliott Harrell

Definitely pleased at our decision to get a 10pm last-minute meal at Real McCoys. Not only is this place really cool, I mean they have official darts and video game machines. Excellent beer selection; in fact I was told they have 52 beers on tap, the largest selection in Wake Forest. The food exceeded all expectations, notably the birria egg rolls and seared tuna were spectacular. We sat at the bar and could not have asked for better service. The seating and tables can accommodate families and groups perfectly in any configuration. Really loved this happenstance.

Absolutely wonderful service! We had made a reservation (likely not needed) but our table was ready and reserved when we got there. Friendly service from the front and even better when we met our server, Christina - who was a total rock star. Got our drink and dinner orders into the queue in record time. Hubby had the ribeye (DELISH) and I had the rare tuna appetizer and the garden salad for dinner - ALL ON POINT. The tuna was super high quality. Overall a wonderful experience, will be back again soon!

Ok, went out for lunch with the wife and decided to try a new place. So, first impression was local sports bar with a nice vibe. First tried the cheese rolls, if you like cheese sticks you’ll probably like these. My wife had the patty melt sandwich which she said was pretty good. She really liked the bread. I decided to go with the smash burger which was more like a standard burger than a smashed burger. Also, had the bloody Mary it was pretty good not too bad. Our server was great very attentive. Excellent customer service.

Google
Overall Score: 6.2/10 - The restaurant provides a spacious and inviting atmosphere that contributes to a unique dining experience. The exterior is appealing, straightforward, and neat, creating a good first impression. Inside, the service stands out due to the staff’s knowledge and attentiveness. Atmosphere: 6.1/10 - The interior is large and equipped with various types of seating arrangements, including numerous TVs, which contribute to a vibrant atmosphere. The different dining sections each have their own charm, adding to the overall appeal of the place. Although the outdoor area is basic, it complements the simpler side of the restaurant’s theme. Service: 7.0/10 - The service quality is high, with staff who are both courteous and attentive, making guests feel well cared for. Food arrives quickly, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant is consistently maintained. Such attention to detail ensures that each dining experience is enjoyable and hassle-free. Smokehouse Burger: 5.9/10 - This burger boasts high-quality ingredients, including a perfectly cooked patty and fresh vegetables. However, the large bun and excessive toppings tend to dominate the flavor, overshadowing the taste of the patty itself. The burger is filling, but the balance of flavors could be improved to enhance the dining experience. Cajun Pasta with Chicken: 6.5/10 - The pasta is cooked to perfection, with the chicken seasoned well and the sauce adding a delicious richness to the dish. The portion size is reasonable, though for the price, a slightly larger serving could make it a better value. Overall, the dish stands out for its flavor and quality ingredients. Nachos with Chili: 7.2/10 - The nachos are served in a unique and entertaining manner, directly from a smoker can, which adds a theatrical element to the meal. The chili is flavorful and well-spiced, complementing the crispy nachos well, although some chips do become soggy. The price is on the higher side, which might not align with the value expected by all customers.

If you want a huge selection of beer to choose from that is all ON TAP and some damn good, this is the place for you! I got a couple different beers to try while I was there and they were all cold and delicious. We got the pretzel and egg rolls for an appetizer. The pretzel came out as like a giant bread loaf, but was still tasty. It came with a cheese sauce that was good as well. The birria eggs rolls were so damn fantastic and I could have eaten a plate of just those alone 🤣. For my meal I got the smokehouse burger and it was cooked to perfection. The burger was juicy and the bun wasn't soggy. It was a very good balance of toppings-meat ratio. The fries were served in a little deep fryer basket and they were so damn good. Crispy outside and soft inside. Exactly how a French fry should be! Our server was super friendly and attentive. We never went without a drink. I will definitely be going back. Pretzel & cheese - 7.8/10 Birria Egg Rolls - 9.5/10 Smokehouse Burger - 9/10 Fries - 9.2/10

Google
Service was fast but I wished our soup and salid came out before our main course. Server was detailed on allergies. Side salid was huge. We tried this place because we often drove by. I think this is a better lunch or drinks place then for dinner unless you are planning to order a hamburger or appetizers. I been to some nicer atomsphere date places for about $30 less on the bill for two people and more then one adult craft beer. The food was OK but overall, more bang for the $ and better food at other places I reviewed.

Google
I called in my order and went to pick it up. Everything I ordered was soggy. I ordered fried onion rings, fried pickles, and birria egg rolls. Not happy with my food and I paid $38 for soggy food. I tried calling a few times no one answered. I opened my plates to a mess. The top on the sauce with the fried pickles was melted and wasted all over the pickles. They charged me a delivery fee also and I picked up my order. Not satisfied this time with my food.

If you're ever in Wake Forest definitely give this place a try! We got the steak sandwich and a side salad (homemade croutons..yum) and a bacon egg and cheese burger! Both were delicious. I forgot to snag a photo of the better than anything cake, it was good too. Great service and reasonable prices.

Yelp
Pretty decent sized bar / restaurant. Wasn't loud inside except for the"bros" at the bar cheating on the foot ball games. We went @5 pm on a Saturday night , we were seated right away. Our hostess was awesome. I ordered the Rueben with the cucumber tomato salad . The Rueben was excellent the salad was ok . My husband got the teriyaki wings they were pretty big with a lot of. Chicken he said they were good too . All in all it was a good experience and we definitely will be back

Jake P.

Yelp
Great boneless wings and fries. The service was fast and kind at the bar. Cool atmosphere and it looked like a good beer list

Michael S.

Yelp
A group of 8 of us came here on a Saturday night. We were here early enough to get a table. The place got absolutely packed. We all agreed we wouldn't go back. First, we wete given a table by the hostess. The the waitress was pussy saying we should have been given a different table. Msybe, that's why she had an attitude. Dunno. We wanted to have fun, and did, but inspire of the service. Positives 1. The food was not bad. 2. The beer was cold. 3. We were in the back but could hear the band, and they were awesome. Negatives 1. Service was terrible. It took forever to get our server. They were obviously understaffed. But, they kept letting people in, so... 2. The darts they provide (they hold your drivers license) were well work. The fins wouldn't stay in. 3. The door to the kitchen is beside the dart boards, so we had to stop and move every time a server went in or out (see photo). 4. People were so packed in that you couldn't walk between tables without people moving. 5. We had people coming to sit at our table before we were done because of the crowd. 6. See #1 about the terrible service. 3 stars because I'm being generous.

Catherine J.

Yelp
Old Fashioned is watered down. Tastes like they put tap water in it. A good one won't be a cup full and they use maraschino cherries. As someone who drinks these regularly, husband was very disappointed. Pineapple marg came in a baby cup (in my opinion). Usually margs come is big glasses. About 5 big swallows in this little cup although it has potential. Tasted good, I ordered two. PRO: Great lunch or dinner spot but for a bar I was disappointed. Foods good, drinks not so much (what we ordered anyway). No issues with service though and the place is pretty clean. Music is loud on the weekends so just beware if that's something that bothers you.

Lori R.

Yelp
We have eaten here a couple times recently have found the food to be very good. The place is really large, so there are plenty of places to sit, even if you have a large group. Menu is pretty diverse as the Chef has a Cajun background, so you'll find gumbo and po-boys as well as traditional bar food. Upscale entrees available as well like sea scallop risotto and steak frites. Plenty of salads, sandwiches and apps. We both are fans of their Philly Cheese Steak (I like the Chicken version). And I love that they have grilled wings as well as fries. I tried the pineapple sriracha most recently with a side of their vegetable medley of the day. Very tasty. Ranch and Horseradish Honey Mustard dippers are both terrific. We've been lucky also as service with a smile has been our experience. Tip: their current menu online has pics

Camila D.

Yelp
Came here with some friends for a calm night out. We ordered the salmon teriyaki, cajun chicken pasta and the steak. The food was so so flavorful, great service, and overall friendly ambiance. This place is great for a night out either for dinner or some drinks. Will be coming back

Loren M.

Yelp
Everything is pretty tasty on the menu and great service. Leave before 8pm, the crowd gets a bit rowdy and beer muscles start overriding common sense.

Keith G.

Yelp
Great alternative to Carolina Alehouse. TV screens and great craft beer list! Wake Forest hidden gem

George C.

Yelp
My wife and I were there on 7/26 approx: 7:50pm to have some dinner and enjoy the band. We ordered our drinks and my wife's margarita was terrible and tasted like some juicy box sweet drink for a kid. No tequila, very disappointing. Waitress tried to remedy the issue and same result. Finally, the lovely manager got it right and made it herself. Then came our entree's and mine was the Pastrami on Pretzel bread with a mustard side. The bread was not of any pretzel I had before. They did sprinkle salt on it though. The next time my wife and I want to eat dinner where we get better quality food and drinks it will not be this dive serving bar food and watered down margaritas. These days, everyplace charges a lot of money to eat, so shouldn't the quality be top shelf?

Diana M.

Yelp
They have an extensive menu so there's something for everyone to enjoy. The wings were a good size. I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta and the flavor was definitely there. It was however a little spicer than I had expected. My boyfriend ordered the southwest wrap and he said it had an enjoyable kick to it. We went on a Saturday night and got there around 7:45 and were sat right away. There was a band setting up and the place was getting a little more rowdy. Seems like it'd be a fun place to grab drinks with friends

Laura G.

Yelp
Delicious meal tonight. We were welcomed warmly and got a nice table by the window. 1/2 price wine and beer for hubby. Great choices and wine was delicious. We shared 12 wings and the bison burger. Wings were cooked perfectly and were generous portion. The star was the bison burger. Cooked just right and the combination of flavors was the perfect bite. Fries were good too, they were seasoned well and did not need ketchup. We ended with the carrot cake. Great end to a wonderful meal. I think every time we go to the real mccoys it gets even better.

Lorraine N.

Yelp
very nice and courteous with some atmosphere and decent selections on the menu. we got buffalo chicken wrap and i thought it could have been beefed up with more lettuce onions and some more chicken and bleu cheese so it was a bit scrimpy. i also think to be considered an irish themed bar they need to beef up the irish beer and whiskey selections. the server was super courteous and this is a very large place with areas that could handle a larger crowd

Mike B.

Yelp
Another visit to this local Wake Forest spot. It was surprisingly quiet on a Sunday night, was seated immediately. It's a sports bar theme, TVs everywhere, in an L-shaped room with the bar in the center. The menu is more sophisticated than your typical wings, burgers and beer sports bar. Undecided as to what we were hungry for, tried a couple of "off the beaten path" entrees. Started with some warm pretzels. Served fresh out of the oven, crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. With a cup of beer/cheddar cheese for dipping. Yum! Opted next for tomato bisque. It's a bowl-sized serving, topped with cheese and big crunchy croutons. The soup is creamy, thick and rich, with a tiny bite. Fancier than a bowl of just tomato soup. Good. Lastly tried gumbo. A great prep here that does New Orleans proud. Gumb base with a scoop of white rice in the center. Big chunks of andouille sausage, okra, chicken and shrimp. Very very good... A great bowl of comfort food on a chilly night. The menu here is legit. Don't be fooled by the sport bar theme... There's some great food on the menu!

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Nice neighborhood bar with a huge draft list, make many of their own mixers, and have an upscale pub menu. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Plenty of tvs for sports fans. Was told this place had one of the best Bloody Mary's in town. I would say it was just ok. I asked for it spicy, and it came with a slice of candied bacon. I wasn't a fan of the bacon, but I was clearly in the minority. We shared the seared tuna appetizer, which was good and reasonably priced. I decided to try the special burger of the day, which was the French burger. It was a good, juicy burger. All of the elements worked well together, but there was nothing that stood out or made this a great burger. The homemade chips were actually my favorite part of the whole meal. I would go back again and try different menu options. Overall I would say quality of the food and price of the food is good.

Tasha M.

Yelp
Our food was a little cold, and our waiter must have taken a smoke break every chance because the smell was super strong every time he came to our table. He was very nice, but again we could have done without the smoke. The atmosphere of the establishment was cool. Pretty laid back. There was live music... great band btw. We'd recommend and give this place another try.

Jane T.

Yelp
If I could I would give this place more stars ... What a fantastic restaurant sports bar ! It's truly The Real McKoy ! We stopped in for what we expected would only be a fast lunch burger but wait - there was SO much more to choose from. We started with Ahi Tuna appetizer with Brussel sprouts! The Ahi tuna was just perfect and the Brussel sprouts were delicious! Then we split a Big Smokey Swissket ... that's what it's called it was a beef rib brisket sandwich with Swiss cheese and a bbq sauce that was just so delicious! The side we chose was sweet potato fries . I could go on and on about all of it . The sandwich was incredibly yummy and the sweet potato fries had a bit of cinnamon and a pinch of sugar .. they were so good! The place had so much going on.. there were pool tables , darts, video poker and TVs everywhere to watch all the sports . A full bar that offered everything you could imagine and more . It was really a fun place to go and lots of great food make this a winner ! If you're ever in the Wake Forest area this is a definite place to go! Two thumbs way up!!

Meghan D.

Yelp
You can't beat the lunch specials. Gumbo and a good sized salad for $11 (they have other options and soup and salad is even less). We recently started coming here and have yet to be disappointed. The pretzel appetizer is always a crowd pleaser.

Stacy P.

Yelp
Overall a cool sports bar/restaurants. Been here a handful of times to dine in and also have ordered for pick up during the shutdown. I don't do keto but I absolutely love their keto bun. I like their keto bun wayyyyy better than the regular buns. It's sooooo good and takes the burger up a notch in my opinion. Worth a try at least once. Also try the shrimp and grits. OMG sooo freaking good. Mouthwatering. I will say it's a bit salty so definitely tell them to not put too much. Drinks are pretty good. I've had a few of their martini's and i'm always happy. The moscow mule is also good. Overall staff are cool. They are friendly and check on you throughout your stay. If you end up going try the keto bun and let me know what you think

Thomas C.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Great beer selection, excellent food, and our server Tristan was great as well. The GM Brian stopped by and was incredibly friendly and welcoming for our first visit and the chef stopped by to see how everything was as well. Great hospitality at all levels. We will be back!

Chelsea N.

Yelp
Another local place I really want to love.... But I have never had a great experience here. First things first, manager was seating when we walked in. Really friendly and helped explain the gf and Keto menu. He said anything keto was gf. Idk about that so if you're celiac this may not be the place for you. Second, our waitress was all over the place and seemed to pretty much ignore us. Not sure if she just forgot us or what but a table who was sat in her section with us, left before we even got our food. A table who was sat in her section after us, left just as we were getting our food. Third, wings aren't great. I asked for crispy wings and they were burnt. I asked for Alabama white sauce and they didn't come. Fourth, kids meal shrimp? Absolutely not worth it. You get 3 shrimp. That's it. My son was like wait where's my food? I asked for a chicken tender platter as soon as I saw how much food he had (along with a missing side salad--more below) and she put it in as a kids meal but we never got a side for it it. Just three chicken tenders. Fifth, i asked for a salad without croutons. When we got our main course, I still hadn't even gotten my salad. When I asked for my salad she said she'd go check on it. It was another 5-10 mins before she came back and said "I'm going to check on your salad now." She came out and it was with croutons. I asked her to take it back. When I came back out it was plated with my sons chicken tenders and the server (who wasn't our server) said the salad went with the tenders. I figured she rang it in that way so it would be cheaper for us. No. I was wrong. When I got the check I saw it was rang up as a $7 side salad, and a $7 kids meal. Sixth, when I asked for clarification on the kids meal and side salad she said oh I just asked her to take those both out here and she put them on the plate. Maybe we got treated this way because we have kids? Maybe we were in the corner and forgotten about? I'm not sure what happened. But this was an $80 meal, that still got a $20 tip, that wasn't worth it to me.

Chas P.

Yelp
Great bar, lots of room, Impressive, ok food, its bar food as expected service was very good

Ben F.

Yelp
Lots of freshly prepared, delicious options at Real McCoy's in Wake Forest. My favorite is the 12-oz strip steak, with green beans and potato croquettes. Ask for Michael as your server; he's a professional. Save room for the carrot cake; it's an amazing dessert experience.

Patrick C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place, our first visit and the food was banging. Staff n manager were so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic atmosphere and clean. Thank you

Heather B.

Yelp
Still a solid four stars from me! Server was exceptionally friendly and we had a great chat about diet, foods and eating healthy. My daughter and I were so pleased to hear that Real McCoy's offers some keto options! While we no longer eat totally ketogenic diets, we do avoid carbs as much as possible. We ordered our usual pork rinds, they were kicked up a notch with ranch seasoning and ranch dipping sauce. Served piping hot and still crackling! We both ordered hamburgers on keto buns. Our burgers were good as usual. The keto bread was very average, nothing that I haven't made at home myself. However, it was nice to be able to pick up a burger and eat it with my haves instead of a knife and fork, as I typically do. I'm glad that we tried the keto buns, however, I would skip it the next time and just go bunless. The keto blueberry cobbler was SO good! Wow. Very blueberry flavored and full of blueberries with a bit of a keto biscuit cobbler. Definitely recommend! We'll be back soon!

Lori K.

Yelp
Food is just okay. Just regular old bar food. Nothing special.Great facility, good service.

Lisa P.

Yelp
This was supposed to be wraps. It was pretty messy to assemble myself. Pork belly was just a tad to salty but good flavor. Also had French onion soup and it did not taste like French onion. It tasted like broth with a ranch packet seasoning.

Ann S.

Yelp
I jumped ship on this restaurant a year ago from a not so great food experience. I herd they had a new chef so I thought tonight why not try again and I AM GLAD I DID! The soup was amazing and the wings in the mango habanero sauce were some of the best I have had. I was alone so sat at the bar....ask for Autumn because her amazing hospitality made the whole experience come full circle. Real McCoys you have a repeat customer in me definitely.

Sandy V.

Yelp
We recently had my birthday party at Real Mccoys and I can't say enough about how amazing it was! The food was delicious, service excellent and atmosphere just what was needed to complete the perfect day. Also the manager, Missy is a great asset to your team. We will continue to support your restaurant. Thank you, Sandra

Ralph W.

Yelp
Had but been there is awhile. It was a local gathering place, pub/sports bar food. Nothing special but was good but not great. Heard they had redone the restaurant and hired a chef. Went back at lunch to check it out. They've removed the pool tables and added mire tables, changed the menu and added daily fresh specials. Food was excellent and the server was very knowledgeable. Wake Forest desperately needs some quality restaurants. This is one of them. Kudos to the owners for making this change. I'll definitely go back, food was excellent, portions were good and the service was great.

Michael R.

Yelp
We have eaten here several times, and always found the food to be good. Tonight, we decided to try a dessert based on one of the menu descriptions. The description said the dessert was a molten cake which is something my wife and I really enjoy. It was nothing like a molten cake. Molten cakes are supposed to be served hot with lots of chocolate fudge and other items. We were served cold chocolate cake that was just pulled out of the refrigerator with watery chocolate sauce and whipped cream. There was nothing hot on the plate. We were very disappointed.

Chris M.

Yelp
Stopped by Real McCoy's today and tried the Ahi Tuna Cerviche, a new item on the menu. Highly recommend! Lite, fresh, a flavor explosion in your mouth...and the won ton chips are a nice addition. Paired it with an Octoberfest beer recommended by the bartender. You need to try it.

Guy W.

Yelp
Dang it Folks, Real McCoy's is the Real Deal. Went for Dinner and Yes it was as expected Very Nice Place to Enjoy a Drink with Friends or Dinner with the Group. Now the Burgers looked Fine but I'm a Chicken Man, so I went for the Tenders!!!! If You haven't been Might want to give it a Try!!!

Amanduh P.

Yelp
Great little bar. Food was pretty tasty. Went in for a lunch treat was pleasantly surprised.

Chuck C.

Yelp
This is some of the best food ever cooked. Eric, the chef, takes pride in delivering the best plates in the market. I would highly recommend that you visit Real McCoys because it is just wonderful!

Alberta G.

Yelp
We stopped in from dropping off some friends at the airport. The food was great and reasonably priced. Service was outstanding and the surroundings were fun and energetic. Wish we could have stayed for the night to catch the action. If we ever go back to that area, I will surely make a special stop.

Allie F.

Yelp
I'd give 3.5 but I can't. First off, took over 10 minutes for someone to realize we had been sat and then another few to get drinks etc. the Cowboy burger was very dry but the shrimp & grits as well as the Cajun pasta was so so very good. The portions are large so that makes up for the higher priced items. Specials seem pretty good and we'll be coming back for drinks, to watch game and play darts

Nekita B.

Yelp
Philly cheese steak sandwich and sweet potato fries yummy. No pics I was on my 30 minute lunch break and brought in by one of our EMSI reps.

Christine W.

Yelp
If you were looking to catch a buzz off of a cocktail, this is not the place for you. After five martinis each, my girlfriend and I left as sober as we walked in.

Ted S.

Yelp
The jambalaya was good, not the best I ever had. Needed a little more kick. It did have a lot of huge shrimp. Server was very efficient and visited us multiple times to check if we needed anything.

Paula B.

Yelp
It hurts my soul to give this only 3 stars... Food was 4*s The service was 1* It may be the best French onion soup in the area. The burnt ends were also a yummy table treat. One single ala carte order of burnt ends was a generous 4 slices. The hubs ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich, which he stated was moist and delicious but no spice (a bit bland for what you expect. The service was horrible. We were sat immediately on a Sunday evening which was moderately busy. (About half tables occupied) We waited about 7 minutes before our beverage order was taken. We soon received the beverages by another server, we didn't see our waitress for another 14 minutes. She took our order accurately but didn't fill our drinks. Our food was delivered still no refills or silverware. 5 minutes later she came by, for the third time I asked for a water, we also asked for napkins and silverware. We're got water and napkins but gave up on silverware. After finishing food, we waited 14 minutes and finally I hunted down our server to pay so we could leave. If it weren't for the delicious food I would not return. I will say all serving staff had masks and seemed to sanitize between and were super nice, just not attentive to tables. They didn't even appear short staffed just not very effective or efficient.

Valerie V.

Yelp
The food that I have had has been good. Mostly typical bar food but some fancy dishes added in every once in a while. I love the bartenders, very friendly. I probably go up there once every couple of weeks. Trivia night is fun on Thursdays!

Janae M.

Yelp
We had Darius as our waiter and he was amazing! Very attentive and also made sure our glasses were full. Super friendly!! Great conversation as well. Will definitely come back!

Ryan M.

Yelp
So my family stopped i last night for dinner after shopping. We came in around 8:00 pm with it being a Friday night it was busy. Good thing was tables in the back were open so we were seated right away. I had the McCoy Sampler Entree with pulled pork, smoked sausage and duck. All were good. My wife and daughter both got a burger. Both were good. Only thing of criticism is that the burgers were overpriced. You pay steak house price for a corner pub burger.

R K.

Yelp
What a huge disappointment . No more brisket here! The waitress acted like she had never even heard of brisket. The pulled pork was soaking wet. More of a place to drink than to eat. A real shame. The website makes it sound awesome.

Shannon F.

Yelp
1st time coming to this restaurant. My husband and I really enjoyed the fresh house salad with the amazing ranch OMG. Again it was our 1st but definitely won't be our last

Harvey H.

Yelp
I went to dine at Real McCoy's in Wake Forest for lunch with a friend. For our appetizer, we ordered the soft pretzel bites. They were really good! For our entrees, I ordered the chicken tender platter. My friend ordered the fish and chips with asparagus. As far as the food goes, it was decent. The reason I rate this 3 stars is because the lack of coverage within the restaurant. For 30 minutes, our waitress did not attend to our table. She was busy occupying the bar area and to go orders, alone! I do not fault her. That's a management issue. And yes, I would have loved to directly talk to the manager, however, due for limited time, we were unable to, which is why I am addressing this here. Our cups went dry, we were out of napkins and these are a few things to name a few that were frowned upon. There's a lady who sits at the table near the front door. She would literally walk near our table but never ask us ANYTHING or see what could be done. When we finally asked about getting a refill, she looked and said she'd tell our waitress whenever she came around. My question is how hard is it to grab a refill for paying customers when you are clearly not doing anything but sitting at a table ?! Horrible attitude at that. After 35 minutes, we finally got a refill. The waitress was unapologetic. It's to be expected, she is fairly young. I like the food. But this management needs some serious work ! Please, enjoy this picture of the soft pretzels with cheese.

Bill Y.

Yelp
So tonight I got the Hatfields platter....OMG....au jus came out cold, 1/8 inch cut brisket and the BBQ came out with it soaked in water... Never in 20 something years have I gotten 1/8 inch cut brisket.....it always is cut to pencil width. The fries was the best part of the platter. My wife got the Philly cheese steak sandwich and the meat was way over cooked to where there was no moisture in it at all. The fresh chips she got was not cooked all the way and the middle was chewy....bartender and the service was great but the food sucked....best part of our meal tonight was the pretzels and cheese.

Yelp
I hadn't been here in a while. The menu changed a lot. They were no longer serving two of my favorite appetizers, so that was a little disappointing. As usual, the service was great and so was the food. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was actually seasoned unlike most restaurants. The homemade fries were also tasty.

Yelp
Ordered 2 Fried Haddock for take-away. They were the worst fried fish we ever remember having. They were both a soggy mess. This is a photo after I picked out the fish inside the soggy breading ( and I am usually an empty-plate-guy). The tarter sauce was more like mayonnaise and really needed some relish mixed in. The only positives were the coleslaw, and the French Fries were good. I picked it up on time; and only had a two minute drive...so it really should have been crispy. I am so disappointed. The hostess and server were both nice, otherwise the star rating would have been lower.
