You have a good selection of room's to pick from, the staff was honestly amazing, another plus was the waiting room had numerous amounts of puzzles to play with while you wait and candy/chocolate. I did not pay so cannot comment on the price. Overall a great place, would come again

We had such a great experience with our group of 11 year olds! There were lots of puzzles of many types and our game master was so supportive. We’ve done quite a few escape rooms and this is a good place. Definitely would recommend.

Reality break escapes was a positive experience for our group of nine, I enjoyed the quality staff that hosted our group, and I enjoyed that the style of escape room involved going from room to room. I would like to add to the rating, however, that they could have a bit more interactive decor in their rooms.

My wife and I did the speak easy room and it was awesome and challenging! Our game master, Adam was extremely helpful and kind. He made the experience significantly better.

We came to RBE for a work event and had so much fun! Tati got us started and the whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Our group split up into all three of their rooms and we all had a fantastic experience. The puzzles were clever and we smiled and laughed the whole way through. Extra kudos to Tati for her phenomenal customer service and host skills! We will certainly be back.

Staff was helpful. Place is okay but under invested. We played the Cypherspace and didn't finish for the first time since we started escape room 6 years ago and played 20+. There are several key issues, the locks are difficult to unlock even with the right code as you need to reset it certain way, then they have a safety box that would freeze up and didn't take the right codes. They provided a decibel meter for decoding but the measurement was completely off that wasted us a lot of time. Many tiny little things were not well designed or the flow was not smooth. At some point I was so frustrated about the safety box and gave up.

We’re so grateful to the team at Reality Break Escapes for turning our daughter’s Sweet 16 into a truly memorable experience. With just a week and a half to go, our original venue, Mirra, canceled on us last minute due to a scheduling conflict they failed to communicate—despite our having booked and paid in full a month in advance. Thankfully, Reality Break Escapes came to the rescue. A huge thank you to our amazing game masters and hosts, Shane, Zach, and Adam, for going above and beyond to make Peyton’s day special. They were thoughtful and flexible, even making sure that the teens who had previously done some of the escape rooms were placed in new ones they hadn’t tried before. This team saved the day, and we couldn't be more appreciative. Highly recommend them for any special event!

This place is soo fun. The space theme one and the Speakeasy has been intermediate level, but lots of clues and multiple rooms!! Love the whole ambience of the check-in area. I also enjoyed Whiskey, one of the game masters, thorough explanation of the rules even after watching the basic video of how to do escape rooms. Also, fun playful tips and humor from Adam, who responded to our group banter too. Highly recommend on the weekends, easy parking and not too busy.

We came here for my son's birthday. We had a holiday themed Seattle Rock themed escape room. I love the nostalgia and the smart clues. Apparently, we had a difficult rated room. The staff were friendly, and we will definitely return. Thank you for such a fun evening!

One of the most damn fun escape room's I've ever been to. When you initially arrive, the entrance is hidden in the corner of the plaza. You will descend down a set of stairs, as if you're entering into a secret lair, appropriately setting the atmosphere. We were greeted by Hunter, who was an absolute hoot. He had us laughing already even during the tutorial, and got us really amped up for the escape room. They also have water, bathrooms, and lockers in the main room, so all of the essentials are covered. The room itself was fantastic. We did the "Lucky Duck Speakeasy." It had great puzzles, great design, and fun props. They generously give unlimited hints, ensuring that everyone will have a fun time and nobody gets frustratingly stuck on any particular puzzle. The way they give hints is really well thought out as well. They will display some text on a monitor screen inside the room, and the monitor will chime whenever there's a new message. This solves the problem that other escape rooms have when you use a walkie talkie and can't understand what the hint giver is trying to say. They may also give the hint in a form of a riddle, so you still get that "AH-HA" moment when you solve it! Super satisfying. We had a really fun time, booked our next escape room as soon as we finished our first one.

Two months ago when Kate said all she wanted for her birthday was to go to an escape room, I was not sure how that could possibly happen! Then low and behold, I happened upon this amazing place! They had the best time solving the puzzles trying to get out of the room! Even though they didn't quite make it they had a grand time, and of course the very next question I got was, "when can we come again?!?" I strongly encourage those who like puzzles and mysteries that need to be solved to go and check them out! Tati the game master was brilliant and added to the fun of the day!

Cypher Space review Ive done many escape rooms in the past. I brought 2 first timers and overall the experience was very fun. Thematically they start with a video and the workers there put the extra effort to make it feel real. The puzzles were pretty straight forward and when we were off track the crew was not far away to feed us some hints to keep us on pace. In my personal opinion I felt they gave us too many clues and too quickly but the two I was with really appreciated it and the quality of the puzzles and the personalized message for my birthday really brought this experience over the top. Its around 39$ for the room which I find a little pricey but I guess thats bellevue rent for ya. They truely are hard to find, no sign on the building haha

My CuriosityBased team went there and we had a lot of fun. Some of us had played virtual escape rooms together before and this was the first time doing the in-person version. We did Lucky Duck. It was way more fun in-person. Game was a good level of challenging. Tati was our game master and she was thorough in explaining things. She paid close attention to how we were progressing in the game.

CypherSpace was a super fun experience, which we were able to successfully complete within the hour! Rena was a fun and supportive host and went out of her way to make us all feel welcome. Thank you! Moments of excitement, confusion, focus, thought, teamwork, support, joy, elation, and achievement were just a handful of the feelings we experienced during this warp speed challenge. Loved the experience and hope to get back soon for the other challenges! With gratitude!

Our host (started with a B, don't want to say the wrong name) was phenomenal. He knew exactly when to provide the team a nudge in the right direction. All the puzzles were very clever but not so tough that you want to pull your hair out. We were able to escape with 22 seconds to spare! We had a blast. Thank you to our host especially! We couldn't have done it without him. Very well done.

My Experience Level: This was my 36th room. Room: Top of the Charts Price: $35.02 per person Group Size: 3 (all with equal or more experience than me) Theming: It's supposed to be someone's office, so I suppose there isn't much reason to be very extravagant when it comes to decor. Puzzles: I would say the most challenging part was that it wasn't always obvious which items you found went for which puzzle. This room was a lot of locks, so not a lot of variety in the mechanics. Hint System: I think they have a mode where they'll give you hints to keep you on pace, but we asked for no hints unless we specifically requested them. I liked that no walkie talkies were needed and we could just request a hint out loud, which were typed for us to see in the screen that also showed the time remaining. Outcome: Escaped with about 48 seconds to spare. Barely made it! Parking/Location: We missed it our first time around as we didn't see signage on the building. I included a picture of what the building looks like. A small parking lot in front and there was some parking in the back too. Would I Return: Maybe after doing more escape rooms elsewhere. Since it wasn't as technologically impressive as other rooms, I don't have a strong urge to come back right away.

I went with my coworkers and had a great time. We did the "Cypherspace" escape room and enjoyed the variety of puzzles they had to offer. I could tell that they put in a lot of work on some of the more physical puzzles. Kudos to the staff for making these rooms.

Tati Soto was our game master and she was great. My group completed the Lucky Duck Speakeasy. We had so much fun. Tati was amazing at preparing our group beforehand and was so friendly and professional. Also, random side note for those that care, the facility was very clean and tidy, especially the rest room which I always appreciate.

We had a team event here and Reality Break Escapes and our Game Master, Dani, were excellent to work with. Everyone had a great time. The puzzles to solve were challenging at times but not so difficult that we got completely stumped. I highly recommend them - fun will be had.

If you're looking for an escape room on the Eastside, seriously consider booking one with Reality Break Escapes. Not only are their rooms expertly laid out and challenging, the owner and staff are great and personable. The rooms are well thought out and creative. We definitely needed clues and hints from the staff to finish the rooms considering the age ranges we had. Thank you Tatia for clues that helped us but didn't give too much away. We've done the scavenger hunt in the city, Speakeasy room, and the CypherSpace room. The Scavenger hunt was done with a group ages 8-40 yrs old, Speakeasy with 13 year olds, and CypherSpace with 10-40 yrs old. Definitely come early enough to locate parking and the facility (follow their instructions online before coming so you park in the appropriate place during the week). If you run into a hiccup with your experience as we did on our last escape room, definitely reach out to the business owner. Brenda promptly responded to my feedback via email and a telephone call and really tried to figure out what went wrong and how to resolve it. She offered a solution without our prompting which shows she really cares that her customers' have a wonderful and memorable experience. Kudos to Giorgio and Tati for helping us have a great experience.

Super fun escape room! We did the Lucky Duck Speakeasy and it was great and not stressful. On the easier side, which is nice when everyone is already tired :) Our game master, Kat, was fun and lighthearted. I like the tv screen that can be used for *nudges* instead of asking for hints.

My friends and I love escape rooms and we had such a great time at Reality Brake Escapes. We've been to several escape rooms in the past, and this is hands down one of the best! There were four of us in our group and we did the Cypherspace room. It was a little challenging, but not too difficult. There have been several times, where we've been to escape rooms and the puzzles don't make sense, but these did! They were awesome. And our game master was the best! He gave us hints when he saw we were stuck and helped us out when we needed it. And we even managed to solve the room with seconds to go. We had a blast and will definitely be back to play the other two rooms. I highly recommend this place (if you can find it! haha)

Our team (15 of us) chose to do one of the Hosted Puzzle Hunts (Mystery of the Missing Mare) since we were all newbies, that time slot worked for all of us, and we wanted to solve the puzzles as a team vs individually. Lemme just say...IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! :) From the start with all of us in the lobby (when instructions given & pix taken) to the end (with each group in their own breakout room with their game-master)...they provided us with a fun, often comical, wonderful team-building activity! Each breakout group reported the same experience...the game-master was fun and engaging, and the puzzles were just difficult enough for us to work together to solve while laughing the whole way through! We do plan to schedule another one now that we have a better idea of what to expect...this time probably the virtual room, now that we're "seasoned". :) I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the AMAZING customer service provided by these folks. I worked with Giorgio on scheduling all the event details, and he was a dream...also as a game-master, I must add! We also had some feedback on how to make the experience a bit better for folks in the future, and they have taken it and ran with it...always looking to improve for their customers! Overall, we were impressed and will be back for more...and looking forward to the other options they have to offer, including those for LARGE groups! (we've already presented it to our upper mgmt to see about engaging them for further events on a larger scale)! Highly Recommend!

My friends and I did the speakeasy puzzle, which was super fun (took a while to get the ball rolling, but then went pretty smoothly). Our host was fantastic and gave us a handful of valuable clues. We were able to solve it with a few minutes to spare! I highly recommend Reality Break Escapes!

Excellent experience. The clues were well done and delivered on a screen. Clever, helpful without giving it all away or being too cryptic. The props and puzzles were engaging. The basics of the room as part of the introduction was helpful and clear. Tati was our game master and she was great! We plan to return for their other rooms. This is the best escape room experience I have had.

We had a great time last night at our company event. We broke into two groups. We were not rushed, we had a nice room to have pizza cookies and drinks before hand. Lots of socializing, gameplaying and both teams completed the escape in 50 some minutes. Definitely a great team building and fun experience. They took pictures of us in goofy accessories. just exactly what you would hope it would be.

Great escape room!! Very organized and well thought out. We did the CypherSpace room and made it out! It was really fun! Will be back to try the other rooms. The door is tricky to find to the business, so look carefully.

I took my team to reality break for an event. We booked out two of the rooms for two escapes one after the other. We had a great time. Reality Break are in a basement in downtown Bellevue behind a slightly hard to find door, but we all found it pretty easily. There was easy parking nearby for all our cars. The staff were friendly and helpful - both in advance as we set up to do the rooms with 1 more person than usual, and on site on the day. Our group consisted of a couple of folks who had done escape rooms before, and several who had not. I have more experience, but I also tried to step back a bit and ensure my team got a chance to play. We did two rooms. The first was Lucky Duck Speakeasy, which they describe as more straightforward. This was a well-designed fun experience that took our group almost the full hour and which we did complete. It took folks a while to get into the swing of things, but they were pretty effective and the puzzles were well-designed and fun. The final puzzle was well-structured and made sense. The puzzles were quite well themed, but I confess I don't really care much about theming. Great. Next we did Cypherspace. This is a sci fi scenario, supposed to be a bit harder. The group got very stuck early in this room, and the staff were hinting us (without being asked, their standard policy) to help move forward, and eventually things unblocked and we completed the whole room just in time. I thought that the puzzle design on the thing we were stuck on was a bit fiddly, but again this room was well-designed, interesting and fun. I thought Lucky Duck was a bit better. Note that my preference is no hints until I ask, but my group were beginners so we did this their preferred way (with light guidance). That worked well. If you are more serious, you should request no hints. All, we had a great time and I would strongly recommend this to folks looking for a fun escape room experience.

I would absolutely recommend this escape room! I've been to others and this is the best one yet! Its set up super cool and they put allot of time into details and setting up the whole experience. Went here for a work party and was pleasantly surprised on how much fun and exciting the whole experience was.

We played the virtual version of Cypherspace by Reality Break Escape. I personally think this is one of their best rooms when it comes to immersiveness. The room matches really well with the theme. It was exceptionally supported by superb lighting. There were a number of super creative puzzles that I've never done before (98 rooms under my belt now) that would have been really fun to play them in person. The game master was fun and hinting us just enough without giving the actual answers. This room is definitely a must do one!

This was a lot of fun. Not a lot of pressure but challenging enough to make it feel like we accomplished something. Great game master.

We had our twins party here, and everything was amazing. Loved the rooms, the staff and the party room available after the escape experience. The team was very helpful in planning the party, and we felt welcomed and appreciated. All the participants want to go back with their families, and we will for sure go back. The rooms are challenging and creative, and the venue looks amazing. They even have phone chargers in the lockers.

I did the Mob themed virtual escape room as an after work event and it as such a fun experience! It was very well organized and very engaging. All, the host was awesome. He was friendly and helped to be the make the experience that much more fun. I would certainly do one with them again!

Friendly, courteous staff! We did the Speak Easy game today. Gotta day we were pretty stumped right out the gate but once we cracked the ice all started to fall into place. The room was challenging but not impossible. The puzzles were clever and well designed. If you're in the Bellevue area give them a shot!

We did cypherspace with a group of 6 and we had a great time! It was fun and challenging and the puzzles were pretty cool. I've done a few escape rooms before and there were some cool new equipment that I've not come across yet and I enjoyed that. The game runner was really cool and personable, which I always appreciate. We are already planning on our next visit and can't wait.

My wife and I did our first escape room here and are now completely hooked. We did the Speakeasy room and the fun we had with it exceeded our expectations (spoilers caused by vacuum cleaners tripping circuit breakers notwithstanding). The staff (aka owners) were friendly, enthusiastic, and good-humored and it made us feel like we were being guided through an experience rather than just playing a game. I really appreciate that they set their scheduling up to allow for strangers to play together, rather than requiring up front parties of 4 or 6 or 8 or something. That's an understandable but unfortunate feature that many other escape room places have that limit us.

Our team had such a great time! Even the people that said they aren't normally into "that sort of thing" were talking about how much fun they had. We started on the most beginning level, but it was a challenge and it really helped to have 6 people working on the puzzles. We are all ready to try more!

I organized a virtual escape room for my company and reality break escapes did not disappoint! It's such a fun way to connect folks when we are all working remotely. Huge shout out to Brenda and Giorgio for the fantastic customer service, there was a tiny snafu in our first game and they went above and beyond to correct it. The second game was flawless. I will be recommending them to all my friends! Hope to play again soon!

I would highly recommend Reality Break Escapes as an option for first or second timers or groups with children. The puzzles will make you think, and the environment and setup is very beginner friendly. The staff / owners are very engaging, and you can tell they put a lot of love into everything. The room we did felt a little bare with all the puzzles on the walls and nothing in the middle of the room. (There was a large clue on the whole floor, so it wasn't exactly wasted space. It just felt a little bare.) The puzzles themselves were pretty fun, though aside from sometimes needing a couple different brains to figure out the tougher clues it didn't seem like a large group was really necessary. The whole setup seems like it would be great for groups with kids.

Amazing experience! The owners were extremely friendly and personable, and I loved chatting with them. We did the "Top of the Charts" escape room and loved it! The room set up was awesome and the puzzles were really fun. They were challenging, but not impossible. I loved how there are phone chargers in the lockers, and how she airdropped the photos directly to us on the spot. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms!

We chose the Speakeasy room and had a blast! Our room master, Puzzle, was awesome! We were all first timers, so his timing with clues was perfect- just enough to keep us going without spoiling a thing!! Fun decor in the rooms and creative puzzles, definitely going back!

Great experience! The staff was so supportive with giving clues to the 12 years olds that I took. We were probably a little over our heads but had a great experience thanks to the game master.

We do escape rooms regularly and were delighted that another area opened in Bellevue! My wife and I did "Top of the Charts" together (we often try to duo, getting as far as we can). It was a fantastic thematic room, on par with the best rooms in the area. Lots and lots of content -- even if you are experienced with room escape rooms, I'd take 4 to this one. The puzzles were varied, interesting, and fun. We will definitely go back for the other two rooms.

We wanted to try something new and exciting for my sons 10th birthday. Tati was the one who helped us through, and she was amazing the entire time! She was an awesome help and soooo friendly! Definitely made our experience amazing!

Had a great time for a work team building event! Everyone at RBE was SOOO accommodating, especially because we had some last-minute shuffling, adding someone and then someone not coming. We played Cypherspace because we needed the biggest one. They got us all in and having fun. Even with a full room there was only one time where we were waiting on a small group of people to finish something before the rest could go on, so it was well implemented. There were fun puzzles to do while we waited for the group to get there, and then they got us in and going right on schedule. Afterwards we used the gathering room to have some snacks and talk about our adventure. We're coming together as a new team, so this was a great way to see how we work and play together. We'd definitely go back!

A great way to have fun with your family and stay socially distant from others! We went on Halloween and the only other human we came into contact with was the game master. Although people said it was for teens and up, our game master gave plenty of hints so even our 7 year old was able to participate (even with all the hints, we still didn't win!) We were smiling from start to finish, we will definitely be back, what a fun experience!!

I booked the Lucky Duck Speakeasy Escape room for my party of 6. The booking process was easy and I was able to book on short notice. We had some trouble finding the location (the entrance is tucked in-between a lamp shop and an optometrist), but the employee was able to direct us clearly and quickly. When we arrived, Mason (our "Game Master") gave clear directions about our escape room with enthusiasm and kindness. The experience was so much fun and I look forward to booking with them again!!

I have done two of their rooms already and the owners are really amazing people who enjoy introducing people to Escape Rooms.

My team did virtual escape room "Lucky Duck." There were only three of us but we had SO much fun. Lots of puzzles for us to solve individually and together. When we got stuck our game master gave us some cues to help us find our next clue. I had no idea if this would be fun or not, but the time flew! We had a blast figuring things out and solving the puzzle! Great virtual team building event--highly recommended!
