Rebak Island Resort & Marina, Langkawi

The location of this island resort is breathtaking. We were a big group and booked four sea view studios which had private beach access. The rooms were big and very comfortable, service was perfect. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious. It’s a perfect getaway if you want peace and clear blue sky. The beach is very clean and they have their private marina which is an added advantage. Overall we had an awesome experience.

We stayed at Rebak Island Resort & Marina, Langkawi for four nights as two couples and overall had a really wonderful experience. The resort itself is beautifully located on a private island, surrounded by nature. Our sea-view rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The whole property feels calm and well looked after. The pool area is excellent, the private beach is lovely, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the boat transfers to and from Langkawi were frequent and very convenient. The island setting truly feels like a paradise for nature, wildlife and relaxation lovers. The only small downside on the infrastructure side was that there could be more sun umbrellas around the pool, especially during peak hours. The biggest drawback of our stay was the food quality. While the presentation and service were fine, the food itself felt very mass-market and generic, almost like catering designed for large tour operators rather than for a resort of this standard. For guests who appreciate good food, this was a noticeable disappointment. Fortunately, with ferries to Langkawi running roughly every 1.5 hours, it was easy to go to the main island for much better dining options. Despite this, we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return for the location, comfort, nature and overall resort experience. With improved food quality, this place would easily be a 5/5.

Overall, this is a great resort in Langkawi, especially for those looking to unwind and relax. The overall experience was very pleasant. The room is comfortable and spacious, and the resort is clean. It also provides a free shuttle boat service to the island, which is very convenient. One thing to note is that the resort does not offer a wide range of facilities. However, the basic facilities are well provided, including tennis courts, a swimming pool, gym, study room, video room (which could benefit from an upgrade), laundry service, and buggy service. The meals are good, but the selection is limited. It’s acceptable, though there’s room for improvement. Overall, I would still come back for a staycation at this place.

One can see stunning places in the pictures all the time but the reality is often different. This is definitely not the case. The reality surpassed our expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful, calm and isolated place with incredibly warmhearted staff, this is the place. If you just want to relax and recharge, be their guest. If you want to be more active, you can choose from many complimentary or paid activities that are offered by the resort. The staff deserves all the praise possible. Never have I met such a professional, kind and funny personnel. One would think that the resort will benefit as much as possible from their monopoly position in the island. You could not be more wrong. Most of the activities are free of charge – I have to mention the unforgettable movie night by the sea (with a pack of popcorn for everyone as a surprising token of gratitude).

Great resort. Everything you need - comfortable rooms, tasty food, good drinks and lots of recreation amenities. The staff is fantastic. The ferry service to the main island is free and frequent making it is to transfer to activities and meals if you want

The hotel is beautifully situated on the small island of Rebak, where, apart from the hotel and marina, there are no other buildings. Instead, you can explore the magnificent nature. Monkeys and hornbill birds are a popular attraction. Peace and privacy are the greatest advantages of this place. The hotel itself is well-maintained, set in an exotic, well-kept garden. The beach is small, with a swimming area dependent on the tides, plenty of sunbeds, and unlimited beach towels. Breakfast is plentiful – both European and Asian, with a wide selection of fruit, freshly squeezed juices, and ground coffee from an espresso machine. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day, but the prices are significantly higher than in town.|Our room, in one of the eight-room, two-level bungalows had a large balcony with a view. A super-large, comfortable bed, a large bathroom with a walk-in closet, and separate shower, toilet, and bathtub. Very efficient service, towels changed almost daily, and toiletries replenished. Clean. You'll need to bring an adapter. |Free fast boat transfers to Langkawi run every one to two hours. It's worth having a local SIM card and the Grab app (much cheaper than taxis). The nearby town is very touristy, with plenty of souvenir shops, cheap eats, and beach attractions.

Planned a short vacation here in Rebak Island Resort and I’m really satisfied with the stay! The place gave me the perfect getaway feeling. I truly immersed myself in the island vibe and completely relaxed. I would definitely come again if I have the chance.

I’ve just returned from a wonderful 2-day, 1-night stay at Rebak Island Resort, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff offered warm, attentive service throughout our stay. Our room was perfectly comfortable and spacious enough for my large family, making it feel like a true home away from home.||The buggy service made it incredibly convenient to move around anywhere on the island, and the luggage service — from the jetty all the way to our room — was handled smoothly by the helpful team.||We enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, the clean beach, and the excellent facilities such as snooker, congkak, tennis, and volleyball. One of the highlights was the newly introduced activity — feeding the Baji birds. It was a unique and memorable experience that my family absolutely loved.||Overall, Rebak Island Resort left a deep impression on us. We will definitely return whenever we get the chance.
