13 Ghost Kitchens to Try for Takeout and Delivery in D.C. | Eater DC

"Located inside Rebel Taco on K Street, Rebel Margherita is a spin on Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas with toppings like spicy chorizo and Serrano ham. Owner Mike Bramson of B Social Hospitality opened the concept as a pandemic reaction to the need for comfort food, as well as a way to utilize the brick oven leftover in the space from previous tenants. Alongside the regular pizza selections, there are also wings and a “Margherita and Margarita Special” of two pies and a carafe of margaritas for $45." - Vinciane Ngomsi

We have added this place to our list of NEVER GO TO AGAIN. The free chips were very oily/greasy, so I only ate one. The salsa had good flavor. My wife's empanadas were very dry. Super dry chicken inside and she could only eat them by dipping them in the salsa. My son's quesadilla had the dry chicken in it, but the melted cheese helped. The problem was that they put the pico on the plate next to the quesadilla without a barrier, so the juices of the pico just made the quesadilla soggy on the bottom, which really killed the taste and more so the texture. I got the El Jefe tacos. The meat looked grey like it had been boiled and when I picked up the taco, there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the taco holder and grease was just dripping off. I took one bite and all I could feel and taste was grease coating my throat and I had to give the tacos back to the waitress. I did not get anything else. My son said the water was the best there. After sending my tacos back, a manager never came by to see what was going on. This place seems to be poorly run and the food was just horrible. Worst taco experience we've ever had, which is a shame because I was so looking forward to trying this place and hoping to finally find a good Tex-Mex place in this area.

Google
The food was delicious and very well presented. I ordered the veggie Enchilada and it was very nice. The complimentary chips and salsa were a bonus. 😋 The server was also gracious and smiling. Prices are very affordable. The decor is a bit low key and could be improved. But overall we were delighted with the experience before enjoying a movie at Regal cinemas.

Google
What a disappointment!!! There’s a reason why this place has so many 1 stars! If you are not interested in catering to customers, why stay open? We visited Rebel Taco after a movie at the Regal theater opposite this restaurant. Almost everything we were trying to order from the menu, we got told they were out of it! The waitress had brought some chips and salsa. When asked for a bit more salsa she again told us they were out of it!!! How do you run a place being out of everything beats me!? In hindsight we should’ve left. The order of fajitas were good enough. Probably cz we were hungry! Never going back and I hope to see a new customer caring restaurant open up in its place since this is a prime location and could do quite well!

Google
What a cute little spot, I love the atmosphere & the interior with cute little signs. The food was fresh & delicious & tasty. We enjoyed sitting outside. Will definitely come back.

Google
Used to be our neighborhood go-to spot, was even shocked to see the low rating but I agree it’s a restaurant that has consistently gone downhill. Now on two occasions we have been overcharged for side items they are fully aware they do not give you, and received only half portions when you pay for full. Service is unapologetic, face-to-face, and no one picks up to phone to help. Service seems to be catered to the masses and not the quality it started on. Aside from that, the restaurant itself is often out of key ingredients required needed to complete the entree offered and kitchen quality control is minimal. There isn’t a competitive taco spot in BTC maybe that’s why they simply don’t care about the quality or service.

Google
I should've read reviews. Everything tasted like it came from a can honestly. The corn cobs could not have been fresh, nachos were just not good- the sauce on them tasted like pasta sauce, empanadas lacked flavor. The salsa & chips were good. Beer was forgotten to be given only after we reminded.

Google
This place could be a 5 star place one day but not quite there yet. The food looks great but the taste is quite plain to be fair. It taste like everything is premade, rather than made from scratch. That’s exactly what would make that difference. If you are looking for a decent priced taco place that doesn’t stick out of the crowd, in a positive way, in terms of food quality, look no further. Service is excellent! There, I would say, keep it up.

Justine Literal

Google
My husband and I were excited to try this place, specifically the ceviche which had come recommended. The waitress informed us that they don’t have it (not sure if that was just for the day or permanently?), so we opted for the nachos instead. The chicken was super dry, and the black beans were so watery that besides the few chips that were on top, the rest of the chips were really soggy! The overall flavor was pretty bland too. Very disappointing!

Yelp
Great service and great food. chips and salsa came out as the server came to greet me. they are perfectly thin and crispy with fresh salsa! The menu says the tacos come out in 3s but I didn't realized you could mix and match. I loved that it was an option because some places don't allow you to do that. The ahi tuna taco comes in a lettuce wrap and it tasted fresh and there was crunch and flavor, amazing. you can sub for a tortilla. however it didn't feel like a taco so that is up to debate. still good 7/10 birria taco was decent, they still brought out a little bowl of consume (soup) and it was packed with meat. 7.8/10 the carne asada was my favorite taco out of the three. it had flavor, texture, crunch, freshness. 9/10

Yelp
A friend and I were craving tacos and we'd both wanted to check it out. I've been in the area and it always seemed busy, so didn't think to check the reviews. My mistake. It took over 20 minutes to receive the order of elote that we placed basically as soon as we were seated. It arrived cold and lacking in flavor. We also had ordered water at the same time, but we had to ask a separate server as we hadn't received it in over 10 minutes after receiving and subsequently finishing the elote. It took over 20 minutes after ordering our tacos for them to arrive at separate times. We had already had to change up our order of "catch me if you can" tacos as they were out of multiple food items, and had to pay an up charge for the only available seafood tacos. When they arrived they were cold.(grilled shrimp should not be served cold) My tacos, el pastor, arrived almost 10 minutes later, clearly had been sitting, as the tacos fell apart and had to eat them with a fork. The meat was cold as well. There was someone who seemed to the an assistant manager and he was doing his best while the rest of the front staff just seemed to stand around and do nothing. We also were pressed by our server to tell Her how we felt (see above) and she just said okay. No compensation or anything, just sorry we're short a chef. (This is information that was communicated after we'd already been waiting for 20min.) All in all, I will not be returning and encouraging everyone to stay away. As I am still very hungry and unsatisfied.

Yelp
Food is average, though the lamb tacos are probably the best item on the menu. Been here a few times a there is always something not available. Last time here they ran out of chips...what Mexican place runs out of chips!? This time they had no modelo on tap. Best deal is coming during happy hour in which the drink and taco prices make it worth the time/money.
google avatar

Yelp
Too spicy , small menu , food was NOT accurate menu , not enough detail to show the spiciness of items in and on your plate when ordered , Once we indicated before ordering, we did not want spicy food. We still got spicy food! After all of that, the food was served. We took one bite each and decided it was just too spicy for us and could not eat the meals. This is one bite and they were charging us $32 for our two dishes. We gave her a tip she was an excellent waitress, but the location even though convenient is very cold bleak And not at all comfortable seating.! Do not recommend! One Star

Yelp
Tacos were good but I guess we came at the wrong time they were out of a lot of things on the menu. Service was great and love the ambiance of the restaurant. I will return to try the tacos I came for

Yelp
Fast forward a few years and I'm back again. We happen to be in the area and wanted a place to get drinks. This restaurant looked slow and quiet, so it worked out perfectly...and I finally got to check out the bar. We were able to select our own seats at the bar. The bartenders didn't constantly hound us for orders, and we had more time to thoroughly view the menu and order leisurely. I didn't enjoy the food I ordered the first time I came, so we just stuck with drinks. They served complimentary chips and salsa at the bar area when ordering food/drinks. Since the place was still a little empty (it was earlier in the afternoon), the music was a bit too loud. But the DJ definitely did a good job with the songs. They served the margaritas in a cheap plastic cup.....is this a random taco spit in a strip mall or the upscale Brambleton!? Not to mention...they only have one menu for all day every day. The menu looks very basic and not accurate. Most restaurants would offer separate menus based on happy hour time frame/days, lunch/dinner, etc. Their menu shows "happiest hour" is from 4-7, but it doesn't clearly state that is Monday through Friday only. They weren't willing to offer this on a Saturday. Also, the margaritas are listed as 13.99, but once the bill came, we saw there was an additional charge for the El Diablo. Definitely very misleading! Would I return here? Most likely not, unless I forget that I didn't really enjoy the food or the misleading menu lol.

Yelp
This place has really declined. They no longer offer drinks, and there was only one server--who appeared to be napping at the welcome counter. The food was disappointing and extremely overpriced. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Stopped by this place with the family and some friends after a trip to hanson park. We were greeted by friendly staff. The decor in this place suits its name. I thought it had a cool vibe. They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips needed some salt but were fine with the salsa. We started off with the elote, which was solid. A bunch of us got the carne asada tacos, which were meh. It could have used some salt. I got a burrito, which was also just okay. The rice was bland and the carne asada slacked flavor. I really wanted to love this place as it's in an area thats happening right now. Also love tacos! But I wouldn't recommend this place as there are much better taco spots in the area.

Yelp
Came here for a beer and tacos after work. Horrible service didn't even get utensils, bartenders didn't acknowledge at all had to be flagged down to order some food. Was so hungry had to go and ask for my tortilla chips from the food counter. Took 30 min for Food was okay

Asif K.

Yelp
Food is extremely bland tasting, no flavor to the tacos or the steak, chicken, or shrimp that I tried
google avatar

Bryan S.

Yelp
Horrible. Service is beyond terrible. Came to eat dinner before movie and we waited 30 min before initial drinks arrived. Made it a chip and drink dinner and got the real "dinner" at the movie theatre. Stay far away!!!!!

Yelp
Ok, it's a mixed bag. Nice place. Varied menu. Ok prices. But the service barely made it. Not one refill. Inconsistent cleaning. But it all matters on the food and I don't think I ordered well.
google avatar

Anony M.

Yelp
Cool place and great location. Had high hopes it would be a repeat visit. Unfortunately, food is kinda bland and mediocre. Food took a long time to come to the table for what was ordered. Of everything ordered, nothing made is wanting us to have a second time.
google avatar

Omar M.

Yelp
I was excited when this place first opened. Food and service were fine. But lately the service and the quality of the food is not the same. The bar is t much better, with drinks taking too long and not being that good. I was there during the NBA finals and the owner had turned all the televisions towards him and his friends so no one else could watch. Proceed with caution.

Yelp
Got their El Jefe and Super Pollo signature tacos togo. Took about 20 minutes to wait for the order. The El Jefe was good, beef was tender and had good seasoning. Super Pollo, not so super. It was bland and chicken was dry. It also came with a bag of chips and salsa. I did like that the tortilla for both the tacos and chips taste like it was made fresh in-house. It had a nice crisp on the outside and soft inside and has a nice rich corn flavor. This was probably the best thing about this meal. Although I didn't dine in, they have a nice patio area for dine-in right in the Brambleton town center.

Yelp
Our second time dining here and we had high hopes since we enjoyed our first experience. This time was not a good result. Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. Our server meant so well but had no idea how to communicate properly. They only had 1 wine available even though they had a full wine list. Was out of 70% of the beer, husband had to go to the bar as every beer he ordered waitress said they didn't have it. Didn't refill our kids waters, even when we asked. Youngest child and I shared the American tacos - she neglected to mention they were out of hard shells so youngest child and I did not enjoy our meal. We asked for the manager. He came in shorts and a t shirt straight off vacation. He didn't look like he worked there. He offered to make something else, but we had to get to our movie - what kind of taco shop runs out of hard shells? No other compensation offered - churros for the child who doesn't get a meal perhaps? Nope. He didn't offer anything else. Husband didn't like one of his tacos, they were all really wet/oil soaked. oldest tween son, who will eat anything, had no problem with his massive burrito. The waiter at the next table sensed our frustration and at least brought us fresh waters, only highlight to this restaurant. We left a poor tip which gutted us but they need to sort themselves out before we go back again.

Yelp
Keeping it straight to the point. We love this place! Delicious food and a chic vibe. As a vegetarian, we've only tried the no meat options and always go back for the real deal burrito. Do try it. It's scrumptious. The drinks are great too, we got the Smokey Pineapple Mezcal and seasonal Sangria. Also tried the Guac my world and Elote. Churros for dessert. Yum! Parking won't be an issue, you'll find plenty of street parking. There's also a big parking lot nearby.

J.J. F.

Yelp
The food was OK but the service was horrible. Extremely slow. Nobody working the front of the house. There restaurant isn't even a third full but we had to wait to be seated or even greeted at the front door. Then we also had to wait extremely long to get a drink and sooooo long to even get our check. The phone of the restaurant was also ringing non stop with nobody answering. It seems all of the young waitresses prefer just to hang out in the bar area leaving the dining area completely unserved. Just terrible!

Yelp
Great casual taco bar in Brambleton adjacent to the Library and across Ahso! Service was quick and ambience was lively! Happy hour M-F 3-7p taco is $4, beer $6! There is a variety of tacos but fav was lamb & mahi. The El Jefe which is a carne asada comes 3rd, good flavor just slightly tougher for my taste. Overall a much needed addition to Brambleton Town Center Plaza for Hhr or lunch!
google avatar

Kenzey M.

Yelp
Ambiance and service was great but the food was disappointing. Margarita was actually pretty good. We got steak tacos and a steak burrito and it just seemed mushy and not fresh.

Christa D.

Yelp
Got a Shrimp Gone Wild taco and the shrimp was so overcooked I could barely bite it and the taco shell was cold. The fried shrimp were as hard as rocks! There were minimal toppings and the slaw was dry and we got no silverware. It was nowhere near worth $16. No one asked if it was OK so I assume they knew. Sat outside and listened to their rap music which was not appropriate for the clientele. I won't be back because it was neither a good atmosphere, delicious, a good value nor exceptional service. Nothing worth returning for.

Yelp
Sadly I have to give this review as after my 4th - yes fourth attempt to see if the carne asada tacos improved they have not. A few years ago when it opened - came here and loved it - service , atmosphere and food on point so tasty full of flavor. Then noticeably since last year the carne asada tacos and chicken tacos have been abysmal. Carne asada is NOT stew meat- it has no flavor, looks like chunks from stew and even the water dripping off the tacos. I tried the same dish now 4 times since the first time we came here hoping it was a one off- not so. The first time, thought ok it's a fluke maybe cook was sick and someone filled in, second time I couldn't even finish the meal, their I had to send it back and ended up just having guac and chips and today I hoped- still stew meat. Same for the chicken tacos - either the person in kitchen doesn't know how to cook Mexican or even modern Mex food (I should know) or lazy and stewing meat or just have no clue how to cook this type of food. But I'm going back to Taco Bamba and Alfescos. They have flavor - please send WHoever cooks the food here to taco Bamba or alfescos - that what flavor is. I've seen the crowds go down and I think it's the food. Drinks are tasty, atmosphere is cute and staff are very nice. All great things which is why we come back, however the only think consistent is the guac and chips and drinks. Won't be coming back to order food - but maybe just a drink before heading off to diner. Hope you guys get the flavors right - lots of potential but cutting corners on food disaster to lose the crowd. Good luck folks.

Lisa M.

Yelp
The service was good, sweet young kid. Very cool ambience however doors, bathrooms could use cleaning. My burrito, Real Deal, was rice and beans-that's it. There were no plantains. The waiter said it was due to Google translate, a misprint. It tasted really bland. The photo I have posted is what I should've received. On the positive, my daughter had an amazing strawberry margarita that she shared with me.

Yelp
Man, Tuesday was a great day to stop by the Rebel Taco Cantina. I arrived before my friend for cocktails and managed to nab a spot outside on their terrace/patio that offered couches, high tops, and most importantly umbrellas to shade us humans from the heat of the sun. The host was a tall, young gentleman that really greeted me and made me feel appreciated as he chatted with me to my seat. Luckily for me, I arrived at happy hour time and noticed on the menu they offered $8 sangrias and $10 margaritas. The sangrias come in either white or red and margaritas flavors are much more extensive that include traditional, mango, passion fruit, guava, pineapple, el Diablo and blackberry. I wasn't a huge fan of the sangrias because they felt more filled with soda water than wine, fruits and cordials but was super duper impressed with the food! Me being the eater that I am took advantage of the $27 all-you-can-eat tacos feature and am proud to say I was able to try quite the plethora of selections. The ahi tuna tacos were served in Bibb lettuce cups and had a nice sesame flavor on top. These didn't slow me down one bit and was ready to try the Lamb birria which could have been friend a tad bit more but were nonetheless scrumptious as hell! The sauce served with was so tangy and viscous and made an excellent pairing. The 'El Jefe' carne asada tacos were fantastic with corona cheese and the 'Pollo Loco' chicken tacos had a nice topping of radishes and cucumbers with the green sauce on top. The 'Shrimp Gone Wild' tacos were served with lightly fried, mini shrimp and had a nice coleslaw served alongside within the flour shell. The 'Catch Me if You Can' mahi tacos were nice but basic and I must admit I was quite full at this point to enjoy any other choices. The chips were very light and reminded my of those at "Chili's" which I LOVE. The salsa had a hint of spice and that combo really hit the spot for me before I even dig into a single taco. Heidi was our server and very nice. She was knowledgeable of the specials and options and we didn't have any hesitation with her on our side guiding us. Thanks for taking care of us Rebel Cantina and Heidi! Your spot was a great choice for us!

Yelp
We came in here today forgetting about "Taco Tuesday". Turns out they have "all-you-can-eat" tacos for $27. I had the sashimi tuna on lettuce taco, a steak, shrimp, and mahi. Nine tacos in total from the list about. All were great and just didn't have enough room to try more. The server was super nice and apologized for the wait, but it wasn't too long. It might have been tough waiting that long with kids, but with a drink in hand, no biggie! I like the whole "Dia del muertos" theme! Definitely on my list when I'm in the area!

Yelp
We came in on a cold Saturday afternoon to try out some food. They had a great outdoor area I look forward to sitting in when it gets warmer. We got sat and were only given the brunch menu. I think the biggest issue as of now is ironing out the kinks in the service. The hostess should give both the drink menu and the brunch menu. The brunch menu as of now doesn't have great descriptions of some of the items, so until we got the normal menu we didn't know what half the items listed were. Our server was nice but didn't know the whole menu per say. They were out of Tecate and when I asked if the Diablo marg had jalapeno, he had no idea until another waiter came up and corrected him. Most of the servers were young kids so it makes sense, it will take time for them to get things down. We ordered chicken flautes but he thought we said chicken empanadas (which actually ended up being fantastic) so I didn't mind. Food: their house salsa isn't anything special but the chips are nice and light. The chicken empanadas were some of the best I had, especially with the awesome green salsa. The el jefe tacos were awesome, especially with their house made hot salsa which is quite smoky. The chicken tacos were great too, nice size, but didn't have as a great of a flavor as the steak. Their classic margarita was good but they need to adjust their ice ratio, as the drink didn't cover all the ice in the drink. The place is not cheap but we enjoyed it- with some more smoothing in the service, I think this place will be great.

Rodrigo M.

Yelp
I've had rebel taco twice, both times they took forever. Both times the food was cold. The first time the food was at least good enough to come back for. The second time around all it was decent but all 3 things I ordered were wrong. I ordered nachos with NO jalapeño and it had a lot of jalapeño. My wife and son couldn't eat it. No one came to the table to for us to inform them and we were in a rush getting to the movie theater across the street. So we just dealt with it and left and paid the ridiculous price. I had to get up a few times to get lime for my taco and salt for my beer. Service here really sucks. Other patrons were leaving without eating.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Rebel Taco gets a little worse each time we go. They're constantly out of serving items ranging from plates to menus. The food has also been slipping: I had the steak tacos recently and the quality of the beef has continued to go downhill. They always seem reasonably busy, so I have no idea why it seems like the restaurant is on a shoestring budget.
google avatar

D C.

Yelp
I apologize for not having photos; however, this spot doesn't require one. Never had a bad experience here. Service is always great and exceptionally quick. Menu is one of the better ones in comparison to other "Mexican" restaurants in the area. Being from SoCal, my Mexican food standards are extremely high and Tex Mex just doesn't cut it for this guy. Rebel Taco has several pretty authentic dishes relative to SoCal or Mexican border towns. Everything I've had is full of flavor and extremely fresh. Lamb Birria tacos are a must! And their homemade margaritas are phenomenal. Recommend the El Diablo (jalapeño) margherita with Tajin on the rim. One of the best in NoVa. Fun spot anytime of the day. A must visit. Oh, and ask for a side of Patty's Sauce (like a smoky molcajete salsa). Soooo Good!!!
google avatar

Cullen S.

Yelp
They've made some good changes in response to customer feedback. Tacos are now available in singles. They also now serve a weekend brunch which I found to be very tasty. Probably 4.5 stars for me currently.

val

Yelp
I walked in with 5 other people and after waiting 4 minutes to sit we sort of sat ourselves but they seemed understaff. Music is kinda bad love the graffiti vibe though They had nachos for starters that were probably high calorie fried tortillas Asked the waiter for a rec. and could barely hear them but the chicken fluatas were delicioussss Traded my friend for A TACO (what theyre known for yk) and it was kind of buns.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
This place has been on my list to checkout since it opened but never got a chance until recently. Love the indoor / outdoor setting options. You basically seat yourself and the server eventually comes to take your order. We had a great server; she was awesome (I completely forgot her name) We got the Mango and the blackberry margaritas and it was delicious. For appetizer we ordered guacamole the guacamole portion is small but it was delicious. they bring plenty of chips and salsa but the salsa sauce was not what I am used to, it was more like tomato sauce mixed with tomato paste. Not that great in my opinion. I ordered the Mahi Mahi taco and it was lots of different flavors but really tasty. Since it's just walking distance we would be back to try other items in the menu.

Sajie C.

Yelp
Really poor quality. Surprised still open for this long. Extremely expensive and you leave starving

Sam C.

Yelp
I'll keep this short and simple: - food was very solid, I got the birria lamb tacos - Evan was my server, and he was the star of the show. He 100% deserves a raise and mgmt needs to keep him on staff as long as possible--best part of the experience - Ambiance was good with live music, but the karaoke guy needs some voice lessons
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
Kind of unexpected for a place called Rebel Taco, but this is my favorite brunch place in the area. On weekends, they have a fantastic brunch menu and the pan tostado with bacon is my favorite. They had temporarily discontinued the brunch menu, but now that it's back, I had to leave a review. They don't officially list a kids' brunch menu, but they can make child-size portions, and my kid loves the pancakes. I've had nothing but great service here, and the outdoor area is a great place to sit in the summer. We've been here for non-brunch as well, and the ahi tacos are great. It's really an ahi lettuce wrap, and it's fresh and delicious (although messy). I've had nothing but great service here, and the manager has stopped in to check on us and is super nice.
google avatar

Gillian J.

Yelp
Lately, it's been so bad. I tried to give it a chance twice in recent months and disappointingly it's still subpar. The tacos are nothing near authentic, water pours from each taco, and there is no flavor. The drinks lack the essential ingredient of...alcohol?! There is an overwhelming smell of cleaning solution in the restaurant each time I've been there. The only saving grace are the servers.
google avatar

Melinda B.

Yelp
Rebel Taco has filled a niche in our community, for sure. The margaritas are fabulous but it's always smoky and we've had really bad service. I'd go to sit outside and have a drink or two but that's about it.

Maria R.

Yelp
Ordered a tostada salad with carne asada. The steak looked and tasted like dog food. The hair in the salad was a bonus. Run for your life.

Yelp
Great food and quick service. Food is priced well for the larger serving portions. Seating/bar seating options are great, the atmosphere is fun and well suited for the local area. Would recommend going back again.

Yelp
Fish taco was decent. Chicken taco lacked taste and was dry. The chips were complementary and were very very oily. Came here on a Sunday after a movie as the location is right opposite Brambleton Regal cinema
google avatar

Joshua D.

Yelp
Honestly, pretty bad. The tacos are SUPER overpriced for the size of what you get. They also lack flavor. My kids who absolutely will always eat tacos were not very thrilled. And to boot the service was totally inattentive and it took us forever to even get one interaction for the bill at the end, much less if we'd needed refills or something.

Yelp
I had lunch recently. Plenty of indoor seating, quick service and delicious food. Would go back again. Thanks Shelby for serving us!

Yelp
Wish I could give 0 stars Poor Service!!! My daughter and I arrived around 6:30pm. Got seated quickly due to it being taco Tuesday; However, we had to wait over 30 minutes for a sever to even LOOK in our direction. 3 severs checked in with the corresponding tables directly in front, left, and right of us with no acknowledgment. I finally spoke up and asked the girl who was bringing the food to the couple at the bar if she could get a server for us. We still had to wait an additional 10 minutes for one of the main severs who didn't want to acknowledge us, that check on the guest two feet away from us to even give us chips and damn salsa. Which tasted like prego spaghetti sauce. He proceeds to ask if we had to wait awhile, knowingly he saw us waiting for 40 minutes. My daughter replied yes and he didn't care to be apologetic. They aren't even busy to we're I could show some sort of compassion and consideration. The owner or manager walked around and introduced him to the same section and didn't look our way not even once. It was a predominantly, white setting. There were two African American men in front of who the servers tended to. Maybe they're regulars but to US we seemed to be racial profiled. The African American manager looked intimidated by our presence which is wildly insane because he literally greeted EVERYONE on the patio accept my daughter and I. Even when leaving. I was really excited about this place but it's absolutely trash! I'm not sure what's going on but this will be my first and last time here. Lamb Birria is very Mid. . Margarita was also mid

Yelp
Loved our night out here! It's a pretty good concept because there's an open table area where a lot of families were, and then a quieter bar/lounge area for adults, which is where we headed. I don't always love getting tacos because they're messy, but these were *worth it.* The corn, mahi mahi, and shrimp tacos were all amazing, but the sauces on them were KILLER. We also got queso with chorizo, which was pretty good. And the waitstaff were attentive and chill. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Yelp
The perfect place to enjoy some delicious tacos and then a good movie, undoubtedly the perfect place to start a cozy family afternoon !

Yelp
The food here is not good and the service is slow. I had the lamb birrah tacos and my wife had chicken nachos. My tacos were a soggy tasteless mushy mess. My wife's nachos looking like it was modeled after an ice cream sundae. Seriously why serve nachos in a bowl? Who wants to eat nachos with a fork? The only thing good about our meal was the chips were not stale. Why can't restaurants in Ashburn and the surrounding area be better?

Yelp
Outstanding! Came in on a Tuesday around 5pm and the service was awesome, no wait on the food (5 minutes?), and the environment was fun...prices are typical comparing to bandit taco, taco zocala and others but this place is tasty!! They have a restaurant side and a bar side for happy hour. The catch me if you can tacos were so good. Chicken tacos were good. Ordered kids meal but the taco was a hard shell which was disappointing. Again service, price, management, wait time...all were very good. Parking is 15 minutes in front of the place or as long as you want around the block. Would totally recommend!!!

Yelp
The food is tasteless. This is not mexican food. Tried various foods to taste, but was very disappointed. Everything we had lacked flavor. The guacamole taste like the frozen guacamole that you buy at the store. The salsa was more like can tomato sauce without flavor. We even tried their lamb tacos, it was disgusting after one bite, left the rest of the food alone. The bar looks nice, i did not try the bar menu so I wont comment. The atmosphere looks nice, that is all I can say. Will not go there again!
