Stumbled on Rebel Teahouse while walking around and it was packed! Loved the décor and the staff was super nice. My best friend got the taro milk tea and I tried the lychee berry slush. They were okay, but the vibe made it a fun stop.

Amazing drink you can tell a lot of hard work went into this When you first get it, you will be greeted with a cute container and jelly of your choice in certain shapes. The star jelly makes me think of that every detail that went into this drink and it’s not just a drink. It’s a piece of art all the milk options are amazing for people that like Lactaid milk all the other types of milk and need it for Health to get whatever you want which is open very diversity They answered all of my questions for me, picking my dream drink

Super fun Rebelversary block party!! Always get the Dirty Rebel boba, sooo delicious!! We got the taro milk tea, strawberry matcha, and mango lychee too, very yummy!!! Got a bunch of cute merchandise, saw y'all at Japan fest and Korean festival!! Congratulations on your third anniversary!!!

The tea options at Rebel Teahouse are excellent! They have all of the basics and you can likely ask to customize or create your own drink. I tried the dirty match without Boba and with almond milk. Once mixed well, it tasted great which a slight brown sugar/caramel like after taste. They did not add too much ice in the drink so the regular size was the right amount. There is limited seating here and it was full inside around 5pm on a weekday. They do have a bunch of board games for groups to play if there is seating indoors.

Most places don’t offer mango matcha, so I was excited to see it on their menu. I ordered it, and it was absolutely delightful! Freshly whisked matcha right in front of me with a perfect balance of sweet mango flavor. I’ll definitely be back whenever I get the chance!

Cool place, nice design, good size menu. Very friendly and helpful staff. The taro and thai slush’s are pretty nice, definitely on the spectrum of a quality Bobarista. Definitely would come back and try more flavors .

Grabbed lunch in downtown Decatur and was pleasantly surprised with this place. The vibes were there and so was the customer service ! Austin gave exemplary service and curated my experience for me. I left with the mango matcha and would only change me not getting another one! 10/10 would recommend

This place is a must do in Decatur. You will not regret the mango jasmine fruit tea with mango jelly. Or the white peach oolong with strawberry jelly. Honestly, try it all. This place is perpetually busy but I never mind the wait.

I finally made it in after wanting to visit for a while, and it was worth the wait. I couldn't limit myself to just one drink, so I tried two: the strawberry matcha latte with brown sugar boba and red bean, and the taro with coconut milk. Both were very good, but I think I'm a little more partial to the taro. I also love that you can customize your drinks much more than most other places allow. My husband and son enjoyed their mango matcha lattes, though my son was a bit disappointed that his brown sugar boba didn't make it into the cup. We didn't have time to ask for a correction, but I'm sure they would have fixed it if we had. I plan to visit again when my daughter comes home for the holidays. I live about an hour away, otherwise I'd probably be a regular.

The drink was good. I got less sugar and it was made very much to my liking. The place was great, there were a lot of people inside and the service was still quick. I understand why my daughter recommended this place.

Rebel Teahouse was poppin' today! For real...new favorite unlocked!! Located right in downtown Decatur, this cute little spot has a great location. You might luck out with street parking, but if not, there are a couple of parking decks nearby that make things easy. I was there for about 30 minutes and saw a constant stream of customers coming through. Even though it was busy, it never felt hectic. Everyone's orders were taken care of promptly and with care, so service stayed excellent throughout. Shout out to Tamara and Zoe (who was in training), and Sung, one of the co-owners who was the absolute coolest. What I really adore about Rebel? You can choose your milk type, something a lot of teahouses still don't offer. I had two teas because "why not?" Started with the Classic Thai Milk Tea. Then, after chatting with Sung, I decided to switch it up and get out of my comfort zone with the Taro Milk Tea for round two. Let's just say... totally my vibe! Smooth, creamy, and strangely different in the best way. The energy was great...cute indoor space, fun decor, nice playlist and just enough seating, plus a couple of tables out front if you want to chill outside to sip and people watch. Honestly, the biggest surprise is that I can't believe I missed this place for so long...it was literally down the street from me for years. And as a tea lover, that's wild :-o. But hey, better late than never. Happy Drinking!

I love when shops decorate for holidays and Rebel Teahouse did their thing for Halloween! The vibe was fun and the service was awesome. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic. I did have a short wait for my drink but that's to be expected because they make every drink to order. This is my favorite tea house.

It's my favorite boba shop, probably in the Atlanta area. The drinks are always delicious especially the matcha. The service is always friendly and inviting. They have indoor and outdoor seating and decorate for all of the holidays.

REBEL WITH A CAUSE... rebel teahouse is my fave boba shop in downtown decatur that I love to stop at whenever I'm in the area. From our very first visit when they first opened until now, it's one of our favorite local boba shops in Atlanta. The owner Christine is super sweet and friendly and greeted our pup with a free mango puree pup cup. Dog friendly indoors!!! Their boba is solid. I usually go for one of their "dirty" drinks - the very first drink I tried was what lured me in - the seasonal Dirty Pumpkin. Christine recommended we try it with crystal boba, which provided for a delicious contrasting texture. We also tried the Fresh Taro which is finished with a vibrant purple taro puree. The strawberry matcha is also a delicious option if you're a matcha girly like me. All the drinks we've tried have been beautifully and tastefully made, and the cups are high quality plastic. My only complaint is that it's not closer to me in Dunwoody!!! Love that Decatur has scored a Local Bubble tea shop that's actually GOOD!

Their fall drinks are out! I tried their pumpkin spice boba essentially. It had a pumpkin cream cheese foam with dirty boba. It was good but very sweet! My friend had the Thai tea but it was not good, quite mid indeed. With no adjustments, it wasn't sweet at all with just a mild tea flavor. Not your typical Thai tea flavor.

I finished a float therapy close by and saw this was in walking distance so decided to give it a try. And in short, so glad that I did. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and no added sugar. It was tasty and I had finished half of it before realizing I didn't take a picture. I'll be happily returning here for the drinks, service, and bubbly environment. There's also some outside seating.

Holy!! I've been putting off Rebel Teahouse--thinking it was just another basic boba shop--for the longest. However today, they proved me wrong. My cohort of 3 got the Dragon Fruit Jasmine Tea, Fresh Taro and Matcha Latte. Each one was super good. Dragon Fruit Jasmine Tea - refreshing, sweet, and not bitter, 9.5/10! (I regret getting Grass Jelly cuz it was hard to eat it, its those big cubes ones) Fresh Taro - super delicious, server was super nice and made sure we were okay with the paste/texture, 10/10! Matcha Latte - this drink was the reason I visited--saw so many tiktok about it--and it delivered!!! strong matcha flavor, no bitterness, handwisked, 10/10! Their boba is also firm and chewy, BUT NOT HARD! Which shows their good quality ingredients. Not only that, they do NOT use honey to sweeten it, so ppl with allergies are safe to consume. 10/10, will visit again, the place is also super pretty and vibey too!

My drink was ready in less than 5 minutes. I really enjoyed the sweetness level and the fact it was real strawberry puree and not just a syrup. Very cute inside, can't wait to stop by again and try the dirty matcha!

I love their Dirty Matcha Rebel drink! The staff are always friendly and enthusiastic. The free monthly stickers and seasonal drinks are such fun perks--I come in at least once a month just for those!

Great option for bubble tea in downtown Decatur. There's two hour free parking in the lot. The inside is decorated very cutely and there's a few indoor seating available. I've tried several drinks here and they've all been good. The employees here are nice and friendly.

I love Rebel Teahouse's drinks b/c they're honestly some of the best around, but the lack of cleanliness from the staff is becoming impossible to ignore. I went in late on 10/25, and there was a tall girl with glasses, a long-sleeve white shirt under her staff tee, and a long brown ponytail with pink clips. While wearing gloves, I watched her touch both sides of her head to pop her neck, scratch her hair, adjust her glasses, and even take out the trash. I waited for her to wash her hands or wash and change her gloves, but she never did. NASTY! She went right back to rinsing dishes and serving customers like nothing happened. And it wasn't just her. Other employees were touching their faces and hair, then handling the tops of cups where people drink from. It was honestly disgusting to watch. They touch the nasty register and everything else, don't wash their hands, and you have to sit there and watch them stir the matcha while their dirty fingers touch the inside of matcha bowl. Let's not even start on the ice scoop that they grab with unwashed, ungloved hands and leave sitting in the ice that goes into everyone's drinks. Yuck! The drinks are amazing, but the hygiene? Absolutely not!! Please train your staff on basic food safety because great drinks shouldn't come with a side of germs and whatever they're scratching/adjusting in their hair.

So much more than just boba! When I first moved to ATL and found myself working in the beautiful city of Decatur, I ended my remote work day and decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. On my walk back to my car, I ended up outside of Rebel Teahouse and it looked so cute, I had to pop my head inside. Fast forward to 2024 and I couldn't be a bigger fan! Rebel Teahouse is more than just a business or brand, it's community. If you haven't read up on the story of the amazing owner, Christine, please do! Her commitment to uplifting the Decatur business community, the Asian community and anyone she comes in contact with. It's wonderful to know that supporting one biz can have a true domino effect when you have biz owners like Christine. Any time I visit Rebel Teahouse, I'm blown away by my experience. From the helpful and friendly team, to the menu (especially the cool seasonal options) and how could I miss the super cool decor? The strawberry matcha and dirty rebel are two faves of mine, but I've tried a few and don't think I've had a "bad" one yet. Like, they have cheese foam! I've had so many different bobas over the years but Rebel Teahouse has created the one that I love. Expect street parking and nearby garage parking, but you can luck up on a spot! Prices are reasonable and there are even a few tables available for folks to sit and enjoy their boba tea. They even have outlets if you want to sit and work for a bit! Kids really flood the place after school for their boba fix so know that you may not be the only one craving some Vietnamese coffee when you visit, but it's worth the visit. Cheers!

Top tier drinks and service! The drinks are delicious and the boba is the perfect consistency. The strawberry matcha with boba is my go-to drink! The seasonal drinks are always a hit too. The staff are incredibly sweet and attentive! I love the interior and the adorable monthly stickers!

Finally there's a nice bubble tea option in Downtown Decatur. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, I believe they were short staffed so the wait was fairly long. This place is small but there is a decent amount of seating and cute decor. The cashier was friendly & helpful with questions I had about the menu. I also appreciate that she asked what kind of milk I wanted bc I often forget to specify. I went with the dirty matcha with lactaid milk. It comes with cheese foam & a brûlée brown sugar top which I thought was a nice touch. Perhaps it's bc I chose lactaid milk, but the matcha flavor wasn't strong, the cheese foam just ok but I liked the boba. I will give this place another try bc they do have a lot of flavors that spark my interest. Parking - I called the place ahead regarding parking. I was told that the parking deck on the same side of the place had free two hour parking. On the particular day I visited, I didn't have to pull a ticket & was able to park in the deck for free.

The service here was quick and friendly! I got the strawberry matcha latte and the matcha was so good. They whisked the matcha powder and that's how you know it's ceremonial grade! Such good matcha and it paired well with the strawberry puree. The boba was also cooked perfectly and wasn't too overcooked or hard. I will definitely be coming back!

The strawberry matcha and passion fruit fruit tea is always a 10/10 here! They also have seasonal tea options and the winter biscoff milk tea is my favorite holiday drink. Check them out if you're ever in Decatur

The first time I went here, I didn't love my drink but went back recently and it has definitely improved. I got the strawberry jasmine fruit tea and it is pretty refreshing but I wish that the strawberry flavor was a little stronger but you can tell that it is fresh. The actual boba is really good too, it has a great flavor but isn't too sweet and has a good chew to it. The service was good, it took a minute to get drinks but it was pretty crowded. The only thing is that when it is crowded, it can be a little awkward to wait for drinks because there is nowhere to stand if all the tables are taken. I think I would mostly go back for the popups that they hold every weekend because those are fun and a great way to try new things. It was good but I don't know how often I would go back specifically for the boba because there are so many great places around.

This place is fantastic. They have a strawberry and a honeydew melon slush that I always get. They also have fantastic bubble tea. When you order on Uber and the specifications aren't clear, I've been called by them so that they could clarify before they make my drink. Wonderful service. A wonderful place. I hope they expand and grow with more locations.

How cute is this place!! I frequent this area often, but have never stopped in. I am so glad we did this evening. This teahouse was decorated like the most adorable holiday pop-up bar in Atlanta. Decorations were from floor to ceiling, even the bathrooms were completely decorated. The entire space was extremely clean, and everyone who waited on us was friendly. I always have several questions since I can't have dairy and they were very helpful and answered each one of my questions with a smile. I got the dirty matcha and it was absolutely delicious. It had some type of brown sugar swirl, and the softest tapioca pearls. I like to come to this area for late night dinner or drinks so this will be a perfect addition to the evening as they stay open until 10 or 11 o'clock most nights. They are not open on Mondays.

The street parking is always tight in this area but there's a free parking garage especially for retails, on the left of the milktea shop. It's free within 2 hours of parking, plenty of time for a food pick up or a lunch. One of the great things of this milk tea shop is they support and lends space to many yummy popup. Since the location is far from where I am, I mostly come here for the Seven Fingers Baked Goods popup (they are amazingly delicious). In addition, their drinks are in good quality. I had an taro milk tea and the taro taste is fresh and mild, not as artificial powder as other places. The only deduct point is they're a small team with lots of customer so it takes pretty long to get a drink but you can order ahead online and come in to pick up. The shop is clean and nice. At peak time in the weekend, it might get really crowded and there might be not enough seats indoor. All in all, it's a good place for milk tea when you're in the area. I would definitely recommend.

Rebel Teahouse is the only boba shop in Decatur, but it does its drinks so well! I ordered the lavender milk tea with brown sugar boba, and it came out milky and sweet with a floral and aromatic flavoring of the lavender. Boba itself were soft and chewy, just the right consistency. Drinks are solid, and I loved how pretty and cute the aesthetics were inside. Perfect place to hang out with friends and loved ones, all the while enjoying the vibes.

This tea place in Decatur offers freshly whisked matcha and a variety of drinks. An expensive indulgence, but the mango-based option I got delivered plenty of flavor variety. There are plenty of other food options nearby, but not a place where you could get a tea like this.

I love this place! My only complaint is that it's too far away!! They have great customer service, they do a great job sourcing their ingredients and explaining them! The decorations and vibe are super fun for a meeting with friends or coworkers! The cups are great quality and reusable! The price point is fair for everything you get and the ingredients! Parking is a bit difficult but there is plenty around and it's an easy walk from the Decatur square.

I needed something sweet after dinner and went here for a sweet snack and fruit tea! The passion fruit green tea was exactly what I needed. I got this with 30% sugar with boba and star-shaped mango jelly! I could have probably gone with no sugar since the boba and jelly added sweetness to the drink. In addition, they were carrying Seven Fingers Baked Goods and snagged one of the ube mochi blondies. I do wish the place was kept cleaner. They had two garbage bins and the one by the door was full to the brim that used cups and straws were peeking out. Maybe because it was later in the night when we came and they were going to clean when they close anyway.

The strawberry Matcha lives in my mind rent free. I honestly wish I could have one every day. If you're like me and boba isn't your thing, don't let that deter you, there are other delicious options. I ordered a 50% sweet matcha with strawberry and oat milk. It was perfectly sweetened for me and so delicious. It's hand whisked matcha too, so no boxed or premixed going on. The service is friendly and I was in and out quickly, seating is limited but it's so close to Decatur square that there are plenty of places to enjoy your drinks and treats

Rebel Teahouse is adorable! I stopped by as I was in the area and got a Strawberry Matcha that was soo good. Service was rather quick and polite. The ambience in the store was pretty fine. Not the most aesthetic ever but pretty much on par for Atlanta. The restroom is stunning so it was a bit disappointing to not see that in the main area. I would definitely come back if I was close by.

Rebel Teahouse is the first Bubble Tea venue in my home town of Decatur, GA. Big fan of the two Bubble Teas I've gotten so far, the folks behind the counter are nice as can be, and most importantly-- the cups the bubble teas come in are SO satisfying. They're an oddly grippy plastic material with a black lid that snaps right on. A perfect vehicle for the little turtle larvae that populates the bottom of the drink. I was tempted to give Rebel Teahouse 4-stars because their interior design is nowhere up to par with a lot of the Bubble Tea venues I've been to (e.g., Bubble Cafe in Athens, GA), but ultimately its still cozy and the cups more than make up for it.

I walk to Rebel Teahouse whenever I work in Decatur. It has a chill ambiance with few seating (about 16 seats indoors and a couple seats outside). There are monthly specials that they display on the menu. Service is adequate, they are usually busy and it takes some time for them to make the drinks - but it is worth the wait! I tried and recommend the following: - strawberry matcha - mango matcha - fresh taro - purple rice yogurt (it comes not too sweet so I recommend 70-100%) I always try a different drink when I come by. Love this teahouse.

Ahhh Rebel, what a welcome addition to downtown Decatur! This place is literally like 10 minutes from my house and I'm glad there's a boba place a little closer than my usual spots elsewhere in Decatur or Gwinnett county. I went with the rose ceylon milk tea and it was really good. Not too sweet and not overly floral tasting, the rose was actually very subtle. I also picked up a few 7 Fingers Cookies that were very tasty. I checked out Rebel's IG page and it seems like the food/treat options are mostly pop-up and change frequently, which I could see how that works to get folks in to try new treats and their favorites. I was also glad to see them actually whisking up matcha rather than using a powered mix, sooooo I'll definitely be back for a matcha something. And a few of my other boba favorites (taro, thai, and milk tea). Parking is mostly street parking, there are a few parking garages near by, but I always just park on the street when I'm in downtown Decatur.

Nestled into a small sliver of the Decatur Square, Rebel Teahouse is a cute little Vietnamese Coffee and Milk Tea shop that offers a variety of milk teas, coffees, slushes and other refreshing drinks! They were quite busy but still made time to explain the drinks to me and help me pick out what I wanted! I went with an Oreo Slush and it was AMAZING! It wasn't too sweet and had the best texture. Even as busy as they were, I still got my drink rather quickly! I'd highly recommend checking them out! I'll be back to try a Vietnamese coffee next time!

I've been lucky to live in places with really good Boba (like Los Angeles) and visit places with even better Boba (like Singapore). This place more than holds its own against them in terms of quality. But what also makes this place stand out: service. The owner is clearly invested in the community in ways that show through interactions large and small. We're lucky to have Rebel!

I happened to be walking through downtown Decatur tonight, and saw a sign for Rebel Teahouse and decided to stop in and I'm so glad I did! The shop's aesthetic is so cute, with lights and art everywhere, and a ton of dinosaur decor, which is their logo. The shop was quite crowded when I came in on a Saturday evening, which was a good sign for what was to come. The cashier took my order, and I asked them what was in the Dirty Rebel. It's apparently the shops most popular drink, containing brown sugar boba, lactose free milk with brown sugar syrup, cheese foam, and brown sugar sprinkled on top which is then torched to give it a creme brûlée taste. So I knew I had to get it. After the cashier made sure lactaid milk was ok with me, I placed my order, and was warned it would be a bit of a wait which I didn't mind. After about 10 minutes, my drink came out and I tasted it, and it was delicious. The quality of the pearls is possibly the best I've had in Atlanta, both texture wise and taste, and the drink itself was great. It may be a touch too sweet for people but I made no modifications and it was great for me, someone who loves sweet things. The place also has a decent amount of outdoor seating, though while I was there, both the indoor and outdoor seating was full due to popularity, which I completely understand! I will definitely come back.

I always order taro milk tea with boba anytime I am trying out a new place for the first time. Rebel passed my test with flying colors. It was well mixed, not too sweet, and the pearls were just the right amount of chewy goodness. Can't wait to try more of the flavors! And how cute is the interior of this place?! Not too much seating inside but perfect to grab and go. The person who took the order was also very nice and patient, as I was with a friend who didn't know much about bubble tea. They offer both almond milk and oat milk as dairy alternatives. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in the area.

Came to Rebel Teahouse for the first time yesterday afternoon after having lunch nearby. There's a parking garage right nearby on the same side of the street, and it offers two hours of free parking with no validation required. Walked into Rebel Teahouse with two others, and the place was mostly full with teenage girls and their moms. At the time, there was no line, but people started lining up after we sat down at one of the last available tables, thankfully. I think more tables and chairs are needed in this popular store. There are a couple of tables outside in front of the shop. The employee taking our drink orders was friendly, alert and efficient, and was able to answer our questions about some of the drinks. While we waited at our table, the employees were pretty efficient at getting orders completed and called out for customers to pick up at the counter. The first two of the three of our orders were called out. Wouldn't you know it? The one remaining order was mine. I was actually watching the body language of the employees (what looked like a trainer and her new trainee), and it was pretty obvious the trainee messed up my order. I walked to the counter, and the trainee asked what I had ordered. He told me, "I'm sorry, I messed up your drink, and I'm working on making a new one for you." I'm actually grateful that he took the time to let me know the reason for the delay, and wish that all employees would let their customers know of any delays with their orders. Anyhow, I got my order done correctly - a black milk tea with boba, 30% sugar and light ice. The boba provided a nice chew and were slightly sweet. Inside the store are various eclectic visuals painted on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Looking at the individual components of the decor made me think, Oh Cool! Collectively, though, I thought everything overall lacked continuity. Personally, the multitude of red paper lamps in one of the unisex restrooms was too over-the-top dark and red for my taste. However, if it works, it works.

I was in the Decatur Square when I came across this bubble tea shop. The ambiance was great and I loved the decor. Service was quick, too! I ordered a Passion Fruit Green Fruit Tea with 30% sugar, and it tasted watered down. While I would never order this drink again, I would drop by this establishment again to try another beverage, as they have plenty of options.

Absolutely awful tea. As a traveler this was on my list and this place just didn't sit well. The tea was weak and the service was terrible. I also couldn't find a seat because of all the Kamala propaganda. I'd like to sip my tea without all of the lies.

Not too sweet boba spot located in the heart of Decatur. It is visible from the street and has a artistic ambiance on the inside. Their service is fast and the staff is friendly. The teahouse is neat and they serve the drinks in reusable cups. They have an extensive menu so there is something for everyone. They host pop ups on Sunday with different baked goods. You can also find art and stickers from local artists here. A very hip cafe for a tea alone to clear the head or to bring friends and chat. There is on street parking and also a parking deck near by. There are electric chargers in proximity to this location as well. Go check them out this AAPI Heritage month and a part of their proceeds go towards AAPI Civil rights. Kudos to Christine and staff!

This was my first time stopping by, and it was great. It was just after noon on Saturday, and a Filipino bakery was also popping up inside so it was pretty busy. It had a fun, casual atmosphere with lots of people coming in and out, some sitting and enjoying drinks and baked goods with friends and family. I was still trying to choose between two tea options when I got to the counter, and the young lady working the register helped me decide! I also love that there are levels of sweetness to choose from. Instead of my usual milk tea order, I ordered a matcha latte with aloe vera topping and half the sweetness. There was a bit of a wait, as it was pretty busy and only a few people working. But it was no biggie. For the matcha, I think I'll get 70% sweet next time, but I still enjoyed it. Nice place to grab a refreshing drink, especially for the spring and summer!

Ordered: coconut milk tea with red bean $5.95 Ambience: painted walls, cafe feel but they sell merchandise. I would say ambience is average boba shop vibe. Review: a small tea is $5.95, you definitely get more tea from some of the spots up in Duluth. But if Duluth is a drive for you then rebel won't be a bad spot. Yea was light and refreshing, which is good, but I was hoping for some milky/creamy drink. Next time I'll try the dirty rebel, since that seems to be the star. Red bean topping was bad. It tasted crusty and did not go well with the coconut milk flavor. Definitely a hard pass on that. P.S. the cups are pretty sturdy. However, it maybe a personal opinion, but I like the cheap plastic cups with the sealed plastic. Stabbing a boba cup with a fat boba straw just jump starts my boba tea experience.

I'll amend my review now that I've tried it again and understand the pricing better. Their online prices are indeed higher than in-store, and their in-store prices are much more normal - pretty comparable to any boba place these days. I got the rose ceylon milk tea and I enjoyed it! The flowery rose was present and I personally liked that it was on the sweeter side. The inside was spotless and the employees were friendly and mature for their age (seemed to all be high schoolers). Definitely a solid place for boba!

SUCH good drinks. I would recommend this place to anyone. Street parking outside as well as nearby public garages. Seating indoors as well. Prices are fair and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I got the mango jasmine oolong with mango jelly it was sooo tasty. Can't wait to come back!
