Eeeeeeee!!!! Just saw Put Your House in Order and can honestly say this was literally the scariest play I have ever seen. Won't say *too* much about the content of the play as I don't want to include any spoilers. Let's just say that after we left the theater and got in our car (it was night), I was watching the pedestrians around me and was thinking "RUN OVER THEM, I DON'T CARE! JUST GO GO GO!" Not because I'm a lunatic or a bad person (I am not either of those) but because I was that freaked out from the play and wanted to get home alive.
As for the theater itself, it's a small venue, but that's actually great because there are no bad seats. I bought front row seats because I didn't know what to expect, but I was not disappointed by anything. The cast was amazing! The set was great! My husband commented on that and how he like the extra touches made for the sake of realism such as the drill, lights, even smell. There is a reasonably priced bar in front and tables outside while you are waiting. We had no trouble with parking (Thankfully).
This was our first time but will *not* be our last. I look forward to more in the future, hopefully with the same actors.
If I had to make one small suggestion, it would be to turn the volume down on the music. I'm afraid it was a little loud for us old timers ; )
