We had an amazing visit guided by Alex. He was super personable , friendly and entertaining. We had a brilliant education into Corpinnat wines and Recaredo family story. Also the wines particularly the sparkling ones were nothing sort of sensational.

If I could give another star, I would! We visited the cellar last Sunday and had an absolute blast. Jordi was our guide, and I can’t even begin to express how amazing he was — incredibly knowledgeable, eager to share, and genuinely fun to talk to. He also did a fantastic job adapting the visit and tasting to everyone, from complete newbies to sommeliers. On top of that, the wines are outstanding. Not only their biodynamic Corpinnats, which they’re rightly known for, but also their still wines, which are more experimental and just as exciting. We will definitely be back! Many thanks!!

We had a wonderful visit to the Recaredo winery today. Alex gave us an insightful and engaging tour — we learned a lot about how Corpinnat is produced and truly appreciated his passion and knowledge. The tasting was excellent: we sampled several varieties of Corpinnat, each with its own character and elegance. We even ended up buying a bottle to take home! Highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in quality sparkling wines and the rich traditions behind them. Thank you, Alex and the Recaredo team!

Trust me, the reviews are valid. Enric, our guide for the TEMPS private experience was amazing! Exceptionally friendly and helpful. So much passion about Recaredo, the history, the family, the wines and the process. We had so much fun and loved the tasting. Jordi, the master in the cellar was also great! Such a privilege to see a master work at his craft. I went in with high expectations because of all the amazing reviews for the experience, and I left even more impressed. I didn’t think that would be possible. 11/10 - do not hesitate to visit Recaredo if you are in Barcelona or nearby for a few days. Very easy to arrive from BCN.

Out of 6 vineyard tours in Spain, Recaredo impressed me the most with their dedication to producing biodynamic organic artisan wines. The respect and love that they have for nature and the traditional art of wine making combine into a wonderful Corpinnat sparkling wine. Under the guidance of our superb host, Lluba, we enjoyed an informative tour of the uniqueness of Recaredo wines. We also enjoyed a bottle of the 2012 Reserve bubbly in the cellar right after it was disgorged by the artisan master. Their other wines were also delicious and pleasing, which makes for a great experience. I’ll be back soon 😄

If you go to Barcelona and don't take the short trip to visit Recaredo, you are missing a great opportunity. From a full exploration of the caves with a knowledgeable guide, to tasting a very old bottle disgorged right in front of you, to the charming owner who stops by to talk, this is a fantastic, intimate, wine experience.

There tasting room is in middle of town not in a winery. Tasting was with some wines they had open and done by a salesperson so very knowledgeable. Every wine was excellent and trouble was only buying a few of them. Wish could have bought 100 point one but not sure had any and did not want to risk is breaking in flight home.

Wine tasting in Barcelona, Spain! I had the pleasure of wine tasting with the hubz and my brother's family at Recaredo Winery during our recent vacation to Spain. If you're planning on visiting Barcelona, I highly recommend that you make a wine tasting reservation here. Recaredo Winery is located in a historic Barcelona wine valley called The Penedes Wine Region. They are pioneers in biodynamic, viticulture, and is a step beyond organic farming. Their vineyards are handled with care by hand without the use of industrial machinery, chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or fungicides. They also use old-fashioned, traditional techniques of disgorgement when making wines. It's still done by true artisans, who expel the lees manually at the naturally cool temperatures of the cellars. What also makes their wines unique is the use of their grape juice (instead of using processed sugar) during the fermentation process. Recaredo's long-aged sparkling wines spend a minimum of 2.5 to 20 years in their dark cellars and are only aged with natural cork stoppers. Their dedication and commitment to their community, land, traditional techniques, and quality wines are what makes Recaredo's Corpinnat Sparkling Wines exceptional! I highly recommend a visit if you are staying in the Barcelona area.

Run by the third generation family this winery is unique in it still does much of the process by hand instead of machines - the tour takes you through the process of it all and it's really informative and neat to help understand. They specialize in the same cava as the rest in this region, but they are all organic and nature Brut {no sugar added} they also just started doing white wine. The wines we had were crisp and clean and cava super tasty. We left with a very good taste in our mouth

Amazing experience. This family run winery was extremely friendly and welcoming. This winery has the most amazing sparkling wine. The best we tasted in all of Spain. This was the best tour we took in Spain. The winery is now run by 2 sons of the originally founder Antonio and Joseph. From the second I parked my car Joseph was there to help us with any questions on our visit. We were lucky enough to have a private tour of the cellars that his father helped build. They were amazing cave structures, very unique. During our tour Joseph came down to the cellar and showed us the riddling process and how they manually disgorge each bottle. The tasting after the tour was amazing. We ended the tour buying a few bottles that we ended up drinking the rest of the vacation at the hotel. I can't recommend this winery enough. If you can only visit one winery in Spain this is the one!

I can't recommend this place too highly! This is definitely THE cava winery to visit when coming to Sant Sadurni d'Antoni. The tour was personal, small, and through their actively functioning facilities. (We happened to be there during the week they were disgorging the bottles. They let us watch the men working and even did a slow motion demonstration for us). They are ecologically friendly in their growing processes, and stay small so they can produce only the highest quality cava by the best possible means... Meaning they still do a lot of the work by hand. They may have slightly higher prices, but treat their guests like family and produce a cava that is noticeable better than other larger wineries in the area (aka Codorniu). Skip the larger wineries and definitely go enjoy an support the little guys at Recaredo. You won't regret it!

If you can only visit one, visit this one. The passion and care for the product are conveyed by every step of the process. And the staff is a genuine example of hospitality. Some of the best Cava still done by hand.
