Recess Beer Garden

3.5/5. Great beer garden with good food and a great atmosphere. Stopped by here to do some work with a friend. Very fun “slider flight” entree I tried. It was a fun tasting course, but half of the entree + 1 beer was over $20 before tip. A bit expensive in my eyes personally.

If you’re in the neighborhood this is the place to stop for a beer and something to eat. Little patios on multiple levels makes the space feel open without being crowded. The staff are wonderful! Really happy to have stopped in for a visit.

This place is perfection! From size and atmosphere, to service, food and drinks; just everything was phenomenal!! We had a most amazing beautiful Colorado autumn day eating and drinking at this incredible place. The wings, the smothered tots, the nachos, all amazing!! Lisa was most attentive and friendly and patient and prompt; great server!

Our welcome party at Recess Beer Garden for 100 out of town wedding guests received rave reviews from all and set the vibe for the whole weekend. Special shout out to the event coordinator Angelica! She was amazing; easy to work with, provided excellent advice for our specific event, her food recommendations were spot on, and most amazingly she hustled all 4 hours of the event helping the excellent staff serve a crowd that came to eat, drink, and party. Food was delicious, available, and hot for the full event time and I think guests loved the churros so much they were packing them to go for breakfast! lol The space is also great for an event with a private indoor/outdoor area with your own bar that they kept secure from public access during event time. It is also easily accessible from Union Station - beautiful, safe walk or quick Uber. This was the perfect Denver venue! Thank you again to Angelica and all of the staff for a fabulous event!

IPAs, Luke Combs playing, good food… can’t ask for much more. Lots of beer options and a great ambiance inside and outside.

Fun Bar to go to! The place was pretty busy on Friday night and it has a good variety of standing and sitting room. The bartenders were friendly and made drinks efficiently. It was annoying that the closed before 1:30 though

Stopped by to catch up with an old friend from high school. Casual open seating with apps, wings and burgers and fries turned out very nice. It was kind of hot outside and the umbrella tables fought off part of the heat, but it was a bit warm for me. The food and drinks hit the spot just right!

This is a great day time bar with a big patio to hang out. It has the perfect type of friendly fun crowd. We ate and had drinks. Nataliya was the best server . We had even a better experience because of her. I will definitely come back .
