Reck's Hotel-Restaurant

Stumbled across this family run hotel and restaurant on a trip across Europe. The service was top quality, warm and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Dinner was fresh, local ingredients in fabulous dishes. White asparagus featured which was sublime. Sadly we had no room for dessert as the portions were quite large. Will definitely revisit for a longer stay

What a warm, welcoming place with such an artistic interior design and a culinary experience for your tastebuds. Even cloudy skies could not decrease the feeling of wellbeing.

A very cute and functional guest house located a good drive from Bodensee. The staff oz professionalism, dedication, and service to their guests as well as generous hospitality. The newly renovated rooms were spacious, functional and thoroughly cleaned everyday. Access to their sauna was included which was very modern. Highlight was the restaurant, breakfast and the staff!

Very welcoming staff. Great food. The hotel is charming in a old and cozy way. Immediately outside is not, it’s massive storage buildings. We were just slightly mismatched in our age and needs. The hotel are older people, I felt like I had to whisper to not be rude. I wouldn’t recommend someone younger than 40 to stay there as nice as our experience was. And really, we had a nice time. It’s perfect for families, and people looking to do activities in the area. Overall Lake Constance was a low light in our Germany trip. Once again, nice hotel, just not for us :)

We stayed here for 3 days for our son's wedding and every aspect of our stay was superb. Rooms were charming, super clean and everything worked flawlessly with great views over the gardens. The hotel itself is charming and excellent indoor and outdoor dining areas. The food is deservedly award winning, they catered the wedding reception dinner and it was outstanding with a beautiful presentation Internet was free and reasonably fast. Didn't make it to gym/spa. Service was also first class. Both ladies especially the dark haired one spoke fluent English and they were overly helpful and always making sure we had what we needed. Overall we give this rating a 5. Highly recommended, would love to stay here again!

I stayed here for 3 days for a family event and every aspect of my stay was superb. Rooms were cheerful, super clean and everything worked flawlessly with great views over the gardens. The hotel itself is charming with cosy bar area and excellent indoor and outdoor dining areas. The food is deservedly award winning and every meal we had was well presented and delicious and they managed to prepare vegetarian dishes on short notice for the fussier amongst us. Internet was free and reasonably fast. Didn't make it to gym/spa. Very well located a 30 second walk from the train station though no discernible traffic noise at any time. Service was also first rate. Overall 5 star service and food in a 3 star building. Highly recommended

The room was beautiful and clean, the service was very friendly, the food at the restaurant was awesome. One of the best price/value I know. I'll definitely come back when I am in the neighborhood!
