The Best Restaurants in Paris, According to a French Food Expert | Eater

"At this cafe-turned-modern bistro, inventive restaurateur Florent Ciccoli shows off just how well he understands the tastes of creative young Parisians. The regularly changing menu features fresh food with a creative touch, like the delicate but flavorful tartelette of crabmeat, tarama, fava beans, celery, tandoori spices, and trout roe. Other recent dishes have included vitello tonnato with artichokes; barbecued rib steak with Catalan chicory, anchovies, and pommes Dauphine; and rhubarb millefeuille. There’s a great natural wine list too. Located in the 11th arrondissement. Know before you go: If it’s nice out, try to nab one of the tables out front on the sidewalk." - Alexander Lobrano

We were recommended this place & it certainly did not disappoint. This felt like a secret local spot & not like a tourist trap. The employees were so kind; We were worried because we do not speak much French, however they all spoke english. We ordered a bottle of French wine, the scallops & oysters for our starters, gnocchi & pigeon for our mains, & ended the evening with an espresso. Easily one of our favorite spots on our trip to Paris!

Great little neighborhood restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, inventive and very well-executed cuisine. We really enjoyed the seasonal menu — especially the watercress velouté, the pollock, and the ricotta milk ice cream for dessert! Highly recommended. The service was very friendly and the overall vibe felt warm and family-like.

One of the best meals we had in our month trip in France. Their ceviche is to die for. So is their risotto. Don’t miss this place.

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from our hotel. An amazing little restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. The staff spoke enough English to help us out, and made great food suggestions!

Amazing - we found this restaurant on food lists written In French not English - you can see why - thoughtful balanced dishes with the absolute freshest ingredients. My wife and I have been going to France for a decade and this was easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had.

Food was unbelievably delicious. I ordered the 2 appetizers, an entree and a dessert (plus a glass of wine, of course). I can’t say anything bad because every single bite was breathtaking. Price wise was also reasonable for the quality of the food and how good it was. 10/10

We had a delightful experience at Recoin in Paris. The restaurant is small and cozy, and although we had to wait for a table, it was well worth it. We started with an aperitif at the bar, enjoying a glass of good wine paired with some delicious small plates. Once seated, we indulged in their exquisite dishes, each one a true delight. The atmosphere is unique and adds to the charm of the place. Definitely a must-try for anyone looking to experience something special.
