Yelp
Best record shop in the world. It's a douche-free zone in terms of the customer service, like no other record shop in these here parts. The proprietor has incredible and eclectic taste, the pricing is approprate or else low. The proprietor knows his shit but doesn't laud it over you, he offers humanistic, loving customer service, but he's not in your face, he gives you space to peruse. He always seems to credibly enjoy what I choose, and his approval gives me a wide-on. He seems to be something of a pied piper and there are always a crew of loveable misfits from all walks of life, and then a few self-satisfied Pioneer Worksian hipster doofuses who try unsuccessfully to emulate him, and then native Red Hookers of the "why, I aughta..." variety. This is a community center of sorts is what I'm saying, and natural enemies seem to make fast friends here. I don't believe in hanging out without buying something, that's just me, the dude's not a licensed social worker, after all, even though he inadvertently plays one in real life...it's just he's the most appealing person anyone has ever met ever so people glom on and he loves them each, it would seem...but point is the collection and environment are awesome. Go buy some incredible music from this masterful human being.
