Gorgeous space with warm, friendly, welcoming baristas! Came to get some work done: on site parking, plenty of outlets, good music. I tried the Hojicha latte and LOVED it (described very accurately by the barista). Ended up packed by about 9/9:30- popular spot already! And heads up the door is kind of out the way, it’s on the East side of the building and says Bar Ana (pictured) Clearly a space that has been curated with intention and love. Will definitely be back.

Recuerdos may not have its permanent space open quite yet, but what they’re already bringing to the Atlanta coffee scene is something special. Popping up at the El Ponce patio, they’re serving some of the most soulful, thoughtfully brewed drinks I’ve had -the Café de Olla is a must-try: spiced, rich, and full of warmth. Even as a pop-up, you can feel the heart behind the brand. The team is friendly, intentional, and clearly passionate about creating a space rooted in culture and memory. The concept highlights the stories of immigrant families and living in the south through cafe and tragos. Ivan highlights and features exceptional Mexican coffees, so be sure to ask him for a little more detail on what's in your cup. Can’t wait to see the full vision come to life — but for now, this patio experience is already a vibe. UPDATE: Effective Nov 20 2025 Recuerdos is now open in their permanent space that they share with Bar Ana underneath El Ponce! Same great coffee. Even cozier vibes. Lots of plugs for laptop work or phone charging. Beautiful ceramics!

Absolute favorite place to get coffee in Atlanta! Wonderful cozy vibes inside with great seating (lots of plugs too) and exceptional coffee. I recommend this coffee shop to everyone— my favorite drink right now is the Cafe de Olla!

Hidden gem tucked away with great service and nice ambience. It does get crowded quickly so there may be a wait for seating. However, the cafe de olla was a little cold but otherwise perfect. I will definitely be returning!

Look for the green door that says Bar Ana! As soon as you open it , you’ll smell the coffee 🤩The team was welcoming and greeted everyone that came in. Great cafe to work from and there’s plenty of outlets . Each drink has such unique thought out flavors ! The drinks were a tad small but they’re artisanal and they’re local ✨

Amazing, creative seasonal drinks with heart and hospitality! Free WiFi and lots of seating. Easy parking which is hard to come by in Atlanta. Can’t wait to go back again!

The spot! Ivan is one of (if not the) best baristas in Atlanta. They serve sparkling water with the cortado, which is a lost art! Everything is beautiful and considered.

We were visiting Atlanta, and saw this place on the map near our Airbnb. We went to check it out and found a delicious hidden gem! We had the persimmon and sage agua fresca and the dirty horchata chai. Both were amazing!

Yelp
Recuerdos is officially open in their gorgeous new permanent home beneath El Ponce, shared with Bar Ana. Vibes are amazing, same incredible coffee, even cozier atmosphere, plenty of plugs for laptop warriors, and ceramics so pretty you'll want to take them home (but please don't!) Now, onto the coffee itself: Recuerdos is bringing something seriously special to the Atlanta scene. Their drinks are soulful, thoughtful, and flat-out delicious. The Café de Olla is an absolute must-try - rich, spiced, warm, and honestly one of the best sips in the city. You can feel the heart behind this brand from the moment you walk in. The team is friendly, intentional, and passionate about creating a space rooted in culture and memory. Their whole concept celebrates the stories of immigrant families and life in the South through café y tragos. And if you want to learn a little more about what's in your cup, Ivan will happily walk you through the exceptional Mexican coffees he's featuring. Recuerdos is the kind of place you don't just visit - you feel it. And now that their full vision is taking shape, it's only getting better.

Yelp
We had to really look for recuerdos. The sign for Recuerdos actually says 'Bar Ana.' Coffee shop by day, bar by night it's located behind and under El Ponce. But as one of the El Ponce employees told us, "nada que ver." (Ponce has "no connection" w Recuerdos.) And the menu at Recuerdos is limited to espresso drinks and café de olla -- coffee brewed with cinnamon and raw sugar. The pastry chef is still experimenting and isn't ready to start churning out pastries. Service was very sincere. And the café de olla was very good.

Yelp
Wonderfully balanced and thoughtfully curated drinks made with heart and served with hospitality! Love their new space too. P.S. Their entrance is behind El Ponce at the green door that says "Bar Ana"!

Yelp
Perfect lattes and great service. Glad we found this hidden gem in ATL (but doubt they'll stay hidden for long!)
