‘Queer Eye’ Season 4: Where is Farmer Matt’s Red Barn Ranch? | Eater

"A fourth-generation family farm in rural Missouri that had been struggling financially and began hosting farm-to-table dinners to generate extra income. The property and owner Matt received a high-profile makeover on Season 4 of a popular makeover series, when the Fab Five (Tan France, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness and Antoni Porowski) transformed the living spaces and outdoor entertaining areas; the reveal culminated in a candlelit dinner on a newly designed patio with a custom extra-long table where Matt served his homemade butternut squash soup. The episode is credited with reinvigorating his commitment to the property, and since filming the site has added family attractions (a silo slide, barrel train and corn maze), rents the barn for weddings and parties, and reopens an annual pumpkin patch offering 32 gourd varieties. The farm is open to the public on weekends and by appointment on weekdays." - Greg Morabito

Field trip day! Pumpkins, corn maze, corn play pit!!!Farmer Matt and his 45 varieties of pumpkins were a huge hit. But when I say go directly into the Milk Barn Market and buy all of the cinnamon rolls, I am not kidding. I am still thinking about the Sour dough pumpkin cinnamon rolls delivered by Mac’s. This little treasure shop is stuffed with treats and designs all created in love by local venders. Their calendar includes live music on the weekends thru this 🎃 season. Go check this festive farm out KC.

Wow! I'm a huge fan of the O'Bannon terror and was super excited they were able to put on the haunted trail! The only suggestion I would have is some more seating around the waiting areas...most just because I'm pregnant lol and spreading out the scarers a little more in the corn maze. My group and I had a blast!!!! 10/10 would go again! Red barn ranch was a great experience as well. The petting zoo was super fun. The little white horse and taco the donkey were my favorites! The staff was super wonderful as well, I went into the gift shop and asked the lady behind the counter if they had any ice. Again, I am pregnant and got a little over heated walking around. She sent me over the snack shack and even radioed them and they met me with a bag and a cup of ice!!! They were so great! We got three pumpkins that were beautiful and decent sized for a great price!!! I cannot wait until next year when I can bring my daughter.

Love Red Barn Ranch! Love the people, love the atmosphere. Love going for events and field trips and to pick pumpkins during the season. Food and drinks are great and priced reasonably as well! Apple Cider donuts are amazing 😊 LC's Farm School just tops it off and is a fantastic environment for the kids to learn. RBR has a special place in my heart ❤️ Thank you

My new husband and I just had our wedding at Red Barn Ranch, Matt and his team went above and beyond! I am so grateful for the experience and support that we had from them to make our special day that much more special! I can’t say enough about them from pumpkin season to our wedding, we love them!

Absolutely loved this pumpkin patch experience! Super festive but not overly commercialized. Reasonable pricing and you could honestly spend all day there between the nature trial, corn pit, multiple slides, animals, pumpkins, little corn maze, and delicious food. Totally worth it, especially with kids. Only additional costs besides food is the tractor ride with slingshot pellets ($2 a person) and the corn cannon. The tractor ride was really fun cause you get to slingshot pellets at targets!

Very kid friendly. Took the grand kiddos and they loved it. We spent over six hours chasing them around. The face painting was so good and the balloon creations were so cool. The kids loved the slides, I think they were their favorite thing. They also had a pumpkin patch for the kiddos to all pick out nice pumpkins.

Yelp
Fun small town atmosphere, very picturesque and best of all, this is the place to be if you want the full fall Midwest experience! Yes on the cider donuts, yes on the hot cider, yes on the pumpkin selection. The price point is just right and everyone is super nice and helpful! Very family friendly which is my favorite

Yelp
This is our favorite pumpkin patch. Actually has a patch of pumpkins to pick (fair pricing too). The owner is a farmer and gives great tours for groups! Lots of things for the kids to see & do and play on, that's all included in the admission.
