The Best Restaurants In and Around Lakeview | Eater New Orleans

"Red Bird, the 2023 winner of the National Fried Chicken Festival, is the real deal. The bird gets a wet batter coating, prepped 24 hours before landing hot and juicy on the plate. The result is white meat, on the bone and tenders, that is astonishingly juicy. The crust crackles at the bite, not too thick, just right. There are sandwiches and sides like red beans and onion rings too. As for the local brand, which also has locations in Covington and Denham Springs, that crispy skin is a slightly burnished shade of mahogany." - Beth D’Addono

Stellar Experience - we recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Bird, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The service was truly friendly and exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed every item we ordered. The chicken nuggets and chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and incredibly satisfying. To complement our meal, the coleslaw was fresh, the red beans were a delicious side, and the fries were just right. Red Brid truly delivers on both great food and outstanding service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend it if you're in the area!

Me and a friend went in 3 years ago after Redbird had been open less than a week. We were underwhelmed to say the least. The prices were a little high for fried chicken, the chicken was way too spicy even for my South Louisiana taste buds and the sides were just OK. Fast forward to now. Price wise, we felt like we got the most bang for our bucks. The chicken was like mama fried it, my onion rings and fried okra was on point. It appears that the kinks they had when they opened have been worked out. Customer service is great too. Unlike some of their chicken competitors, you actually feel like the owner and employees want to help you. We were greeted when we came in, they brought our food out, checked on us, came and picked up after us and even asked about our experience. With this being said I will pay a couple extra dollars for the food and experience again.

Google
Very different. But I can definitely see why it has a following. The chicken if you like the type of coating, is very good. It's very crunchy, slightly sweet. The red beans were really good very smokey, the gumbo wasn't too bad. But the Mac n cheese, fell so short. Just not right, bland, too much sauce, reminiscent of school macaroni. Service was excellent she was highly attentive and answered all questions.

Wife and I hit this place after Open House at our kids school. Went in just before closing and surprisingly the person that took our order at the counter was very friendly and was more than happy to give us recommendations as it was our first time there. Good: - Chicken was cooked to order, appropriately crispy and very juicy. - The sides were pretty solid, we got mashed potatoes and fried okra. - The sweet tea was damn near syrup in viscosity, as it should be. Not so good: - Minor order mishaps, pieces of chicken did not match our order, incorrect dessert. - The “spicy” chicken was neither spicy enough nor salted enough for us. It’s a completely different fry which was nice to experience, but proper heat and salt would have taken it to the next level. Flat out bad: - Was informed they had recently changed their fries to crinkle cut. Now, there’s a time and a place for crinkle cut fries. The time is never, and the place is in the garbage can, just like unsweet tea. Just because Cane’s does it doesn’t make it right. I’m giving 3 stars instead of 2 because we walked in probably 10 minutes before the scheduled closing time. Frankly, I expected worse. Will probably give it another shot. P.S. I noticed they had a few decks of playing cards, uno, phase 10 etc. on the counter for those that wanted to play a game while waiting for their food, I thought that was a nice touch.

Google
This place was pretty decent. Chicken was pretty good, the Mac was pretty good and the red beans were legit. Now I did order spicy and I didn’t taste any spice to it so I’m not sure if I didn’t get spicy by mistake or if that was spicy and maybe I just didn’t find it spicy at all. Yes it’s a bit of a wait 15-20 minutes, BUT you are getting cooked to order fresh chicken. I read a comment about the wait time and if you want your chicken immediately maybe you should stick to the fast food places. I also read a comment about it being greasy and I will say I didn’t find mine all that greasy. Yea it had some greasy but it was cooked fresh and brought to the table immediately so yea they still had some grease but it wasn’t bad. Also it’s fried chicken so yea it’s going to have some grease but it wasn’t greasy greasy like some comments said. For 4 HUGE pieces and 2 sides I paid $17 after tax and couldn’t even finish it. The chicken is huge, I could have definitely got away with a 2 pc and 1 side and would have been full. But I was able to debone 2 pcs and now I will have lunch tomorrow with it so I basically just made 2 meals from it. Like I mentioned it comes out fresh and hot so you have to wait 5-10 mins before eating it because it definitely is hot (temperature wise), you definitely not getting cold or warm chicken or food. I won’t say it’s the best fried chicken I ever had put it’s good and good enough to come back and would recommend if someone wanted fried chicken and didn’t want fast food fried chicken. You order at a kiosk or at the counter and grab a seat and they will bring your food out to you.

Google
Hubs and I tried this new restaurant and were happy with it. We love the self-service ordering. I got the two-piece white meal with red beans and Cole slaw. Hubs got three-piece dark chicken meal with red beans and Cole slaw. Both were delicious. The chicken is spicy but not that spicy. The red beans and Cole slaw were delicious as well. We hope to come back and try the chicken tenders because they looked delicious.

Google
I had a 2-pc spicy chicken with gumbo and a roll. The roll was delicious. The chicken was fresh, skin was crispy and meat was juicy. I did enjoy it but I’m not a big fan of a wet batter. The gumbo had a nice flavor but the rice was crunchy.

Sharon Rouquette

Google
We can't go to other fried chicken places because we need to eat gluten-free, but their gluten-free chicken is crispy and yummy. The staff are polite and friendly. The restaurant is kind of dark, but the food outweighs the dark.

Yelp
Redbird Fried Chicken in Covington has garnered attention both locally and nationally, not only featured on the local news but also celebrated with awards for their exceptional fried chicken. This acclaim piqued my curiosity, leading me to discover a restaurant that lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere is spacious and inviting, with plenty of booths and tables to welcome diners seeking comfort food in a comfortable setting. The condiment table boasts a signature sauce that perfectly complements the sweet, succulent chicken meat. Accompanied by a side of fried okra, the southern country fried chicken is a symphony of spices, marinade, and seasoned flour, all coming together to create a harmonious balance that evokes both flavor and nostalgia. It's a culinary experience that transports you to the heart of southern cuisine. Service at Redbird is both great and fast, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to quality in every aspect. The staff's efficiency adds to the charm of the place, making it clear why this establishment holds weight in gold. With chicken that stands out in the Louisiana food scene for its unique and delightful taste, Redbird Fried Chicken is a must-visit for anyone looking for an extraordinary take on a classic favorite.

Yelp
My first impression was that this is a very new business trying to get off the ground. I say that to set expectations for my review. I ordered a 3 piece white with fries. The chicken is cooked perfectly. The crust was crispy and the meat was juicy. The flavor of the batter was the only disappointment. It was very bland. The Cajun fries were nothing special but the roll was good. Their sauce options were ketchup, smoky ketchup, a very watery buffalo sauce, and a house sauce. I didn't try the house sauce and didn't really like the smoky ketchup. I ended up sticking with the ketchup. Service took 16 minutes to bring the food when only one other table was occupied at 6pm on a Saturday night. I'm not complaining about the wait just wondering what the wait would be if they had more people in the restaurant. Ambiance was a bit dark and they have vinyl records hung on the wall. I was disappointed that my booth seat had a view into the kitchen and the first thing I see is a microwave. If the restaurant is still open in 6 months, I'll try it again to see if they have ironed out the wrinkles. I wish them the best.

Yelp
My spouse and I had a late lunch today at 1pm. We should have realized it wasn't going to be great when the was only one other patron. I got the 4 piece strips with onion rings and added a side of red beans and rice. My wife got a 2 piece bone in chicken and fries. My strips were fresh and too hot to eat when they arrived. They had the thinnest coat of batter I have ever had on chicken strips. It was more like they had just been dredged with the lightest coating of flour and not much else. I ordered the spicy strips but didn't get a hint of spice. The onion rings were the best thing I had but they were undercooked, barely any browning and very soft. My spouses bone in chicken had a bit more batter but obviously had been sitting for a while and tasted old. There was zero spice in her supposedly spicy chicken. She remarked "Popeyes has nothing to worry about". The fries were good but a bit bland for "seasoned" fries. My additional side of red beans and rice was adequate but nothing special. Additionally it was warm and humid in the building.

Yelp
First time trying and I shouldn't have because now I want to give them all my money all the time!! So good! I ordered through Uber Eats because I'm working from home today. I got a mild Big Bird Combo - Bone In - dark meat with mac & cheese and a drink. I also ordered seasoned fries and an Oreo roll. I have leftovers for dinner tonight and am already looking forward to it.

Yelp
Took a drive down to Covington to try this place. Came in post lunch rush. Everything was on a kiosk and you seat yourself. No interaction with staff unless to get a cup or drop your food off to you. Guess that is becoming the new norm. Chicken was good but I was expecting it to be spicy and it wasn't really spicy at all but it was crispy and seasoned. The red beans were ok and the Mac and cheese was ok. Would pass on the rolls as they were just the ones from your freezer section of the store. Limited options on sides but all the basics you find at other drive thru fried chicken chains. Nice little spot if you want some fried chicken!

Yelp
Tonight my wife & I went here after shopping at Sam's. The young lady greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. My wife ordered two piece mild white meat with a side of onion rings. I ordered three piece spicy dark meat with the mash potato's. Rolls came the meals and we got a free order of chicken nuggets with everything that we ordered. I really like the albums and album covers on the walls. The music was really nice listening to while we ate our meals. The sauces are ok at best, the buffalo sauce is too vingerery, the signature sauce tasted like they used thousand island dressing as the base. It was not even close comparison, to Raising Cane's Sauce! The BEST sauce was the SMOKED KETCHUP. The chicken tasted like it was burnt/overcooked. The spicy chicken was not even spicy at all. The mashed potatoes with the gumbo gravy is supposed to be spicy. We were told, but it was not even close to being spicy. My wife ate it with no problem. Normally she complains about spicy food. That is why she did not why she did not order it. She wishes that someone would've said the onion rings were thick or thin. They were overly thick and very heavily battered. The biscuits are deep fried, my biscuit was overly saturated in grease not good. Check out the attached pics. If Popeyes fried chicken was on that side of town, Red Bird Fried Chicken would already be out of business. The owners of Red Bird need to go take lessons on how to do chicken from Popeyes or Krispy Krunchy Chicken.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I don't think I can change my rating after going back. I would probably give them 1.5 stars but that's not an option. They had chicken tenders this time. I got the 4 finger plate to go and my partner got the 4 piece to go. They were again out of items. The only sides available were red beans and rice, slaw, and fries. You have to pay 50 cents extra for the fries. The platter is already pricey. See attached menu. Then you have to pay another 50 cents per cup of dipping sauce! The cup is small, so you need at least 2, 4 would be nice. That is another $1-$2. The chicken fingers were a decent size and I did like the flavor with the bit of heat. The sides were terrible. The fries weren't good! I can't believe they are an additional 50 cents. Not worth it. The red beans and rice were flavorless. I think there may have been a total of 4-5 spoonfuls in the container. I only ate 2 so I can't be sure, but a very small amount. I got 2 sauces. 1 honey mustard and 1 original. The original taste like some version of honey mustard with maybe ketchup or hot sauce mixed in. I'm not sure. It was okay but nothing special. Those 2 small cups of sauce brought my platter up to around $16. I only ate the chicken tenders, so that's $4 a tender. Crazy! I won't be back. My partner enjoyed the chicken he got but also thought the sides were awful. His plate was even more expensive than mine, it's just not worth it. Wish this had turned out better but we won't be back.

Yelp
Not really impressed!!! I'll stay with Popeyes . It's better chicken. This was just ok for me

Yelp
Their Chicken was not good, it was very rough and felt almost like rubber. Very disappointing because I'd heard good things about them.

Yelp
Stopped by on June 13 around lunch time. This was my first time trying this restaurant. It reminds me of Gus fried chicken. The food was great It didn't have the extra spice I was expecting. The service was quick & the server was super nice. The ambience was casual. Did i expect to pay almost 60$ ? Heck no lol but would try again ALONE.
google avatar

Loriyon J.

Yelp
Not sure if it was the time of day (which shouldn't have anything to do with the quality of the food) I went but I was not impressed with the food. Staff was cool, but I'd pass on going back based on my first experience. I was excited to try out a new spot in Covington I love the decor and I do like the fact that you can put in your own orders at the kiosk. The chicken was fried perfectly but the flavor was off and the sides were so mediocre. The roll had to be the worst I couldn't even eat it. I'm not sure if it was refried or what but it was too greasy as shown in the pics. I'll still say give them a try if you're in the area
google avatar

Blaine M.

Yelp
Three stars is being generous. I heard great things and wanted to love it! We ordered a 10 piece mixed mild and a three piece spicy with fries and onion rings as sides. Firstly, the 10 piece dark is $25. But if you want mixed white and dark meat (still 10 pieces) it's $35! So you're getting charged $10 more for a couple of pieces of white meat. But okay. We wound up paying $70 for 13 pieces of chicken, a large order of fries and 5 onion rings. Not worth it. Chicken was too salty, fries were soggy and greasy and onion rings were mid. Not going back.
google avatar

Bella E.

Yelp
Red Bird. The first initial welcome isn't very welcoming. You walk in to a nicely decorated spot to not be greeted, and have to order off a kiosk. The food. I believe I got a 2 piece, 2 sides and a Roll for $17. Which is crazy in my opinion. The chicken was good. Nothing extraordinary. The fries were great. Now.... The Mac. The Macaroni was despicable. Worst I have ever had. The sauces were good. I like how the sauces are self serve. (I love sauce) so I can get however much I'd like without looking like a pig. lol! Overall 3/5 stars. Would I go back? Maybe. Is it a must try? Nah.

Jeanne J.

Yelp
We were the only ones in there tonight at 6PM. They cooked our chicken after we ordered so there is no excuse to save me burned chicken. One piece was dark brown & hard, the others were also overdone but I ate them. I asked them to switch the worst one for another piece. The next one he bought me was even more overcooked & unedible. My husband got strips which were cooked good. The best thing we had was the onion rings and red beans. The mac & cheese had absolutely no flavor. They show a big bar in the pictures which they have & they also have a Tito's sign on the front door, but they are misleading because they do not serve alcohol. We were totally shocked after the reviews we read, just how bad it was. Someone needs to turn down the frying time. I am usually not picky, but soooo disappointed. Definitely will not be going back.

Yelp
Just what we all need another fried chicken place right? Well this one's pretty good. It also has great coleslaw and mac & cheese. The chicken is good but it's not Popeyes. You've got to be awfully brave in this area to take on Popeyes give them a shot anyway, I think you'll like it.
google avatar

Tarah T.

Yelp
This was some of the worst chicken I've had...there's no flavor. The chicken was cooked fantastic but the flavor is obsolete. The onion rings were THE WORST ONION RINGS I've ever had. The batter was terrible and flavorless. The batter was falling off the onion rings and raw. Not good at all. The spicy chicken sandwich was cooked well but also flavorless. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND

Margie V.

Yelp
Best fried chicken!!! I used to love Church's fried chicken and enjoy Popeye's, but I don't understand the popularity of Cane's at all. This place has become my new go-to place for fried chicken. The chicken is crisp and well cooked with a delicious crunchy crust. The onion rings are also great. I'd include a photo of my children but it disappeared too quickly. Haha! Great music, too.
google avatar

Joanna S.

Yelp
Very tasty chicken, perfect amount of spices and it's cooked perfectly! It has a mild kick of spice but not anywhere close to unbearable, you order at a kiosk or the counter, service was fast and friendly, and there are several sauces you can choose from. The coleslaw was my least favorite, but the Mac and cheese was good, needed a little seasoning? And the prices are comparable to many fast food prices, and the portions are good!
google avatar

Louis M.

Yelp
Two of us dined on a Tuesday evening. The food was very good. We tried both white and dark meat and everything tasted fresh, juicy and crunchy. She tried the traditional which is spicier and I had the mild chicken and we were both happy with the spice level. Fries: good; Mac and cheese: very good; cole slaw: good; red beans: could be better but tasty. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and directed to the ordering stations Staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing chicken! The food was fresh, and packed neatly to go. I loved the mac + cheese as well. Dine in service was also fantastic, as well as the staff! I highly recommend!

Jenny C.

Yelp
Low on dark meat; still ordered. However, we sat for over 30 minutes while people who ordered after we did were served; to go orders came and went. We are still sitting. If we had not already paid, we would leave. This is unacceptable.- FINALLY food- after I requested refund

Yelp
For a fried chicken place it is very greasy. Fries were extremely greasy too. They were out of Mac and cheese which was disappointing. The chicken is very spicy so if you have kids it will be too hot. Red beans and rice were spot on. Cole slaw was fresh. Water is filtered. Not really choices for gluten free or vegetarian. This is a restaurant for a niche customer. Honestly canes chicken is better especially for the money. It's a cute enough restaurant and they offer dipping sauce choices. Their renovation of the space is appealing: a quick turn and burn restaurant. People were nice and accommodating to patrons.

Yelp
My sister was a vendor at the fried chicken festival. When she told me this company won first place. I put the name in my phone, so I could try it on my next trip to Nola. I was visiting the week of Thanksgiving and decided to give it a try. What a disappointment. I ordered wings and chicken nuggets. Chic fil a have cheaper and better nuggets. I had to trash the wings. They were rubbery and lack any taste/flavor. Don't bother folks. Just go to Popeyes.

Valerie W.

Yelp
Very good food, the spice In the chicken was awesome and the sides were amazing. Highly recommend

Yelp
Went to Covington store at 5:00PM and we were the only customers in the store. There are 3 self service kiosk ordering stations, strike one against this place. There was no initial interaction with staff but the staff member at the register said we could order there. I guess that that those kiosks are becoming the new norm everywhere. I personally hate them. The chicken was pressure cooker fried which I like as it doesn't cook out all of the juices. I ordered spicy and it was hot and juicy and yes a bit on the spicy side. All was good there. The sides I ordered were mac and cheese and cole slaw and the meal came with a flat'ish and rather sweet roll. They were just the ones from your freezer section of the store. The mac and cheese was ok with a sprinkle of crunchy something like bacon bits on top. The cole slaw was soggy and tasteless with a unpleasant texture on the palate, stay away from that. The dipping sauce bar was nice and the roll of paper towels for napkins was OK cause its a casual dining experience after all. Over all it's just OK and a bit pricey for a place that offers such limited fare and sparse service. Just an OK place to eat and will not be my first choice but I do like pressure cooked fried chicken!

Frank Y.

Yelp
First of all this ain't yo mama's fried chicken and it's also not a fast-food restaurant. If you've ever eaten at and enjoyed Gus's fried chicken in Metairie, New Orleans or any other locations then you'll most likely like this place, Reminds me of Gus's or Willie Mae's Scotch House even the way Gus's is set up. The chicken is brined, marinated, or injected (some combo?) and then the coating is more of a batter (like Gus's or Willie Mae's). I thought the chicken was excellent but I love spicy/hot chicken of all styles. This isn't super hot but it does have a kick --probably beyond what my wife would like, for instance. In addition to bone-in chicken they also have chicken tenders which you can eat with a variety of self-serve sauces. The reason for 4 stars is two fold: I thought the sides were just okay at best and the breast was a bit over cooked and dry. Honestly, though the breast was so large I guess it would be a balancing act to ensure the center was a safe temp while staying juicy. Service was a little slow but they've only been open a few days so I think a good product will only get better. Price for my 4-piece lunch with 2 sides (red beans and coleslaw) was around $20 with tax. This will probably be an occasional lunch stop when is playing cards or mahjong. I'll definitely be back though

Yelp
My Husband and I tried Redbird Fried Chicken for the first time yesterday. He loved the chicken, but I was not a fan of the spice. There needs to be another option. However, the fries and macaroni and cheese were really good! (I do want to note, though, the menu nor pictures specify that the macaroni and cheese comes with crumbles of fried chicken skin on top. I would have liked to have known that before ordering it for my vegetarian Daughter who ended up not eating it.)

Yelp
8 piece Bone in fried chicken $18.00 !!!! ( 4 legs. 2 thigh. 2 small breasts) 1 large red beans not even full $7.00 (Can red beans & rice No meat) 1 regular SOGGY fries 5.00 Honestly Popeyes is better Young lady cashier was nice Won't be back Picture showing re warming food

Yelp
Popped in to see what this restaurant offered. Nice and clean. Counter staff was so nice and helpful. It was between fast order and sit down. It is not table service but if dining in you can get a table or booth and they will bring it to you. They have a sauce station with 6 dipping sauces. I ordered one chicken breast. No heavy batter like many - the chicken was delicious and moist. Did not test sides so cannot review those.

D M.

Yelp
Love the fried chicken tenders. I also had the fried okra, gumbo and fries very delicious. I love the free sauces they offer and such friendly customer service.

Yelp
This is a new place doing things right. I got the 3 pc dark with red beans and rice and macaroni and cheese. It also came with a roll. It was really good. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. I ordered online and she offered me a glass of water while I waited. Will differently be back. The inside was very clean.

Jonah J.

Yelp
People noice with their customer service. Chicken tastes good as Chick Fla and the sauces rock! Cajun fries are terrific

Brock E.

Yelp
Great food. Best onion rings I've ever had and the chicken is always perfect. Employees are hit or miss, mostly good but I've had a few bad experiences. You can only order 2 or 3 tenders at a time which I think limits this business. I'd like to be able to get a 4 piece and not pay for 5. Sauce bar is a nice feature but they keep the "premium" sauces at 35 cents a piece.

Gary V.

Yelp
First time here, pleasantly surprised. I had the two piece white meet, with coleslaw. Both were excellent, being fresh, moist and tasty. Wife had Nuggets and coleslaw, equally tasty. The business was very clean and neat. Wait staff could not have been more attentive. We will return.

Yelp
Good Chicken. The restaurant itself was a nice setup. Efficient and good service. I've had the fried chicken and chicken tenders and liked them both. Recommend it.

Yelp
Pretty good fried chicken. Definitely fresh and hot. The sides weren't too bad. I had the seasoned fries, red beans and coleslaw. The coleslaw was my least favorite because it was pretty bland. It needs something to flavor it up. I will be back though because I did enjoy the chicken.

Yelp
The best part. Great Sauces and Great Mac and Cheese. I was disappointed with the Chicken Strips not Crispy. I guess still getting used to fast food at $15 per person. I hope this means workers are being paid more. Restaurant was clean and service was good.

Yelp
Chickens good, sides need some help. Red beans and rice was soup and like 7 beans in the cup. Higher priced but like I said the chicken was good. Would go back just for the chicken

Yelp
The food was good, but they are pricey . The bread (rolls) was basic, nothing special. They should consider using plain slice white bread. But overall, can't complain. We loved it.

Yelp
The chicken was very crispy, I really enjoyed it. I thought it's a bit pricey, I'll try it again soon

Yelp
Save your money and stick with Popeyes! Stopped by this restaurant on 06/04/24 around 4:50 PM. I wanted a 3 piece white. After some confusion, the cashier rang up a 2 piece white plus added a breast. Received my order to go. Got home and the first thing I noticed they did not include the extra breast which I paid for. The chicken is lacking any taste. The French fries were greasy and the red beans and rice tasted bland. Again, I don't know the hype, but this doesn't even come close to Popeyes for service or taste!

Yelp
The food was past terribly I have never post on food experience. Very pricy for 2 chicken breast and a order of wings. I think the wings were fried yesterday. I tries to post picture but was not allowed. All the sides were very sad. Paid $30.00 for food that was uneatable. The worst

Yelp
Wanted to love this place and was pumped to try it! The chicken is insanely spicy! There is not an option for mild, which would be a great option. They were out of so many things, which was a little frustrating and they are pretty pricey for what you get. We got the combos and I think I may have gotten a tablespoon of red beans and rice, which seemed pretty skimpy.

Yelp
We tried this for the first time on a Saturday around 2:00. It was not very busy so we were able to immediately order from the kiosk, grab our drinks and all catch a quick hand wash and then our food was there. It came out really fast and was fresh and hot. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy. It was the best chicken I have had in a long time. We got two 2-piece dark plates which come with a leg and thigh. I cannot express how good the chicken is! My son got a 2-piece tender plate and he thought the tenders were plump, juicy and delicious. The breading is somewhat unique but the perfect quantity and texture. For sides we had the fries, coleslaw and red beans. The fries are Cajun styles with seasoning and a light breading. Similar to Popeyes but better mainly due to how fresh they were. The slaw is solid although not anything particularly amazing. The red beans were really good. They were creamy and thick with a fantastic flavor. One of the surprises was the rolls. I had seen other people describe them as basic, but I find that highly inaccurate. They appear basic but they have more of a fry bread taste and we're simply wonderful. All in all, we really enjoyed our first visit here and plan to be back soon. I recommend it to anyone looking for something other than the fast food and grocery chicken we have in our area! Sorry no pics, we dove right in and it was so good I forgot to take any until it was too late!
