✨ Where to find the best tamarind fish fillet in the Bay Area! 🐟 This family owned small business has the best Vietnamese x Thai Fusion dishes. Their chicken wings are a MUST GET. The perfect crunch and bursting with flavor. They also have combos that comes with a side and salad for under $20 and does catering! Service is the best and it’s the cutest spot!

This was my first time here, and I was impressed, so next time I'm craving Thai food, I'll return. The place is small (if you decide to eat there), clean, and bright. The menu is consistent and varied (plus combo options). The staff is very friendly and helpful. As for the food: large portions, perfect flavors, and very affordable prices. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

Google
It is a small cozy place. I ordered pad kee mao veg/tofu. It was very tasty 😋 portions are large and prices are reasonable. Spicy 🌶️ and flavorful I would definitely recommend it.

Google
Tried a local Thai restaurant and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Crab Fried Rice paired with a Green Thai Tea. The crab fried rice was loaded with real crab meat. Every bite was rich, savory, and totally satisfying. Also ordered combo meal and chose the Panang Curry. It came with a crispy spring roll, white rice, and a fresh salad. First time trying Panang, and I loved it — it’s like red curry but creamier and soupier. Definitely a spot worth revisiting! But the waiting time is a bit longer than expected.

I went to this place many years ago so I can’t really compare it to now and how much it’s changed because it’s been so long. After seeing an Instagram post about it I had to come and try the tom yum wings. Never had tom yum flavor wings before and it was interesting. The wings were thick and seasoned just right. As soon as I dipped into the sauce I knew it was about to be on. I got a combo plate too which I believe was $14 but upgrading to garlic noodles +3 and extra for the eggroll it came to about $20. The combo was good, came with a salad too. Next time I’ll try the fried rice. This location was nice and clean and the service was fast. She kept updating me on when my order would be done.

Google
Tried the Pad Thai and it was so so, not the best nor the worst. Food here can be quick, but if you come during dinner time, order ahead to avoid up to an hour wait. But hey, on the plus side, the staff don’t seem to care if customers put their dogs on the tables, so there is always that!

Google
If you are looking for good thai food, then stay away from this place. Both pad thai and pad see ew were more like noodles with a little sauce than actual thai food. Pad see ew was not close to the sweetness I expect. The pad thai had no flavor at all!! The only positive was the fusion style tom yum chicken wings. Service was excellent but it's unfortunate that the good was not even good enough to warrent finishing.

Google
New Restaurant in Berryessa Plaza with other stores surrounding like Safeway, Jade China, and Poke Bowl. Very Small Restaurant. Too crowded especially during Lunchtime. They carried some of my favorite Thai recipes that includes Papaya Salad, Red/Green Curry, Larb, Pad Thai, Fried Fish with Mango Salad, and other Vietnamese dishes and bbq items. I would have given this place a Four Stars but There is NO restroom for their Customers!! OMG you have to walk across to Safeway if u need to go to a restroom. I feel bad for those older folks in the restaurant. Bummer!!4/17/2025

Yelp
I looked for a dinner place with veg and non veg options close enough to Alum Rock area, and Yelp pointed me to Red Chili. I have to say: it's a find, a marvelous find. Amazing food!!! Not a fancy sit down restaurant but definitely a cosy functional place, clean. It's tucked away in a strip mall, so parking isn't an issue. They do close very, very early!! Service is good the table hose and the staff tape. The orders are lovely very friendly very cordial. All the items on the menu that we ordered, for dinner, were excellent and exactly made the way we wanted through the spice level we requested: 1. for appetizers we had Roti Canai and fresh rolls. 2. For the main course we had Thai fried rice, triple X hot vegetarian no egg. Garlic noodles and pumpkin, tofu, curry, mild hot. Pad See Ew vegetarian noodles! Everything was perfect!

Yelp
I've gone to the Hayward location many times whenever I'm craving Thai food. Red Chili has been around for 20+ years and is well-known in the East Bay for their Thai and Vietnamese inspired cuisine. I'm happy to discover that this family-owned restaurant finally has expanded to the South Bay! What shocked me the most was that I never knew this SJ location has been open since 2017! This Red Chili is a lot smaller and more of a take out/catering spot, but they do have about six tables if you want to dine in.  Their San Jose menu actually has some dishes that I haven't seen at the Hayward location too! THE LAAB WINGS ARE A MUST GET! This was my first time trying them, and omg...so addicting!!  * Laab Wings (highly recommend!) * Tamarind Fried Fish Fillet (highly recommend!) * Basil Stir Fry Combo w/ Beef & Garlic Noodles * BBQ Combo w/ Chicken & White Rice * Papaya Salad

Yelp
You get the bang for your buck and it's really easy to order from them. No hassle or anything of that sort. I like going here because it's near my parents place and the food is delicious. It's a small place so I usually get to go. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Everything is good here.

Great spot for viet/thai cuisine items. Very sweet owners and attentive service. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
If you were to only order one thing from here it should be the TOM YUM WINGS. I was thinking it would taste like the tom yum instant ramen seasoning, but I was incredibly wrong. They are packed with flavor from the tom yum and the batter is so crispy without being oily. You can actually taste the different components of tom yum like lemongrass and galangal, it was very pleasant. There were 6 wings total, wish there were 1 or 2 more at least. They offer a few other types of fried chicken wings too like Larb flavor! Will be back to try that for sure. It's a small establishment with about 5 tables inside. You order and pay first, then grab a seat. No restrooms. Friendly service and checked on us a few times during our meal.

Yelp
I was drawn in by the variety of tropical fruit-based dishes like mango, pineapple, and passion fruit! The restaurant is conveniently located near Safeway, so it's perfect for a quick stop after shopping. There's plenty of parking available too! The inside of the shop is a bit small and busy, so we decided to order takeout. Panang Combo Thai Curry: I got it medium spicy with chicken and upgraded to coconut rice for an extra charge. The chicken was tender and plentiful, pairing perfectly with the flavorful, spicy curry. The coconut rice was soft with a subtle coconut aroma. Personally, I think regular rice pairs better with the curry for a lighter taste, but the included salad made the whole combo feel well-balanced! Tamarind Fish Fillet: The fish was super fluffy and went great with the rice. Since the space inside is limited, I think I'll go with delivery next time!

Yelp
First time at Red Chili and I was so impressed! They serve Vietnamese and Thai fusion dishes. From items like larb salad to Vietnamese nuoc mam wings (savory fish sauce wings). It's tucked in a plaza with plenty of parking, so no stress there. I came with a friend on a Tuesday evening, and it was way busier than I expected. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, but it was worth it. I ordered the chicken basil with garlic noodles--so flavorful and delicious. I paired it with a Thai tea that was creamy and perfectly sweet. There's some indoor seating available if you want to dine in or just chill while waiting for your order. The menu is huge, and I can't wait for my next visit to try more items. Also wanted to give an honorable mention to our cashier, Brandon--he was super helpful and patient, which made the experience even better! He handled the busy day well. The ambiance reminds me of a family owned restaurant and that's how you know the food is going to be good.

Yelp
I'm definitely going to be frequenting this spot more often. The food was made very well and the service is so friendly. My favorite was the roti canai. The roti was so flakey on the outside and had a nice chew on the inside. The curry sauce to dip it in was well balanced. The price is so reasonable as well - I'm paying like $16 up at some spots in the city and this is half for way better quality. For the trini folks, this is as good as some of the best buss up shut I've had. The wings were cooked perfectly and had a great crunch on the outside and very juicy inside. I liked the larb wings in particular - I've never had anything like it and it has so much seasoning packed in the crust. The passionfruit wings were pretty good, imagine a better orange chicken sauce. I think it could've used a little more kick though. The current sauce as is would be great for kids. The tom yum here is one of the best in the South Bay. The broth had so much depth in it and the right balance. My friends and I were huge fans of the tamarind fried fish. It also had great balance and the fish was cooked to a perfect flakey texture. The pad thai was cooked really well. They didn't overcook the pork like so many other places do. The sauce had depth and the noodles were still chewy. The service was very comforting. All the staff checked on us and serviced service with a smile. I wish they had a restroom though - I like to wash up before and after eating finger foods like wings and roti. There's a safeway nearby that you can walk to. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Yelp
Gotta say that this place has quality Thai food...and then some. I was impressed with the menu options. Thai fusion spaghetti? Come on! That is just too good. I came here for Elite Week and had to bring my daughter to try this place. She loved it too. FOOD: My daughter got the shrimp and green bean stir fry with garlic noodles and the garlic noodles were on point. So good. Really nice flavors all around. The shrimp was cooked delicately and tasted fresh and tasty. Green beans were good for green beans but my daughter likes them and that's all that matters. Overall, another good meal at this place. SERVICE: Super nice people and the food was served quickly and packaged perfectly. When we got home, it looked so nice in the box and was still hot where it should be. COST: For what you get, this place is great. Cost is on point. And worth it! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Tried their pad Thai and didn't stand out as much. They serve two different Roti styles (one with curry and one dessert style) Both were good. The Roti Canai had that fluffy, flakey texture that I like my roti to have. The curry was also seasoned well. The dessert one was cooked with egg and had some condensed milk drizzled over it. It was alright to me - tasted like a crepe if anything. I would have enjoyed it more if it had the flakeyness of the Canai.

Yelp
Sending a huge shoutout to Ryan and Tiffany for their great service and hospitality. The interior was welcoming and the vibe was already welcoming. It's been a while since I've seen above and beyond service. It seems Red Chili has been around for several years, but looks like it's under new management of some sort. And the "Now Open" sign outside is new. Regardless of the matter, based on service alone, I'm positively rating this a 5/5 star because I feel they deserve it. The only reason I knew names was because Ryan mentioned his name when another lady who ordered takeout asked. And I only knew Tiffany's since I asked Ryan. They don't seem to have name tags yet. But some above and beyond service my boyfriend and I experienced, some compensation of food items that was truly unexpected but they did it to make things right. Now for food review: * Chicken Satay 4.5/5 It's good. I won't really say it's spectacular, but it's worth to give it a try. The satay was lacking a bit in flavor, where we feel it should have been marinated just a bit longer. It's missing more of the authentic flavor. The Tumeric flavoring was there, but missing that fish sauce and mild sweetness. It just needs more umph. However, paired with their peanut sauce, it did give it a boost just a smidge. My original rating was a 4.2 but I did end up raising it because they compensated for two of our satays that were a bit on the burnt side. In all honesty we weren't going to complain at all, but this level of service just help elevate the overall score because acts of kindness like this make a difference. * Roti Canai 4/5 I'll be honest and say that I've had better. But this did satisfy my cravings after not having Roti Canai in a long time. However, it's one of the best I've had vs. others I've had in the Bay. If they could have had it a bit fluffier and lighter with and the curry sauce be a bit more dense and richer, it would have been an excellent pure 5/5. * Pad See Ew 3.7/5 I was so excited to have ordered this, but my expectations were too high. The beef was tender at least, and vegetables still holding its crunch. It's Just that it's more on the saltier side unfortunately, and missing that Wok Hei flavor, but I'm willing to give it another try in the future. * Green Iced Thai Tea 4.8/5 I loved it. In some sort of way, it brought me back to this nostalgic feeling of being back in the Philippines and just sitting on the beach with a refreshing drink. Mine was a tad bit on the sweeter side, but this drink did help balance the saltiness of the Pad See Ew we had. It was so rich and delicious and this will be my go to drink every time I'm back. * Larb Chicken 5/5 My Goodness. This was soooo freaking yummy! It was both of my BF's and my first time trying it. Funny enough he chose the flavor and thankful he did since he's heard some good things about it. The flavor explodes with that great crunch! Omg. Not too salty, oily or heavy. Eating it along with fresh herbs, and onions gives it that good punch to your taste buds. My BF said it could be crunchier, but this is my review sooo... . All in all this was definitely one of our favorites and we look forward to trying your other fried chicken flavors too! More so looking into the Fish Sauce wings. * Green Curry with Beef 5/5 MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! My all time favorite! This was an OhEmGee moment for me as soon as I put the spoon to my mouth to taste the soup. Like a mic drop but in this case a spoon drop. I can't explain how amazing this was because I want you all, to whoever is reading this, to take the opportunity and actually try it. So rich, delicate, and paired with the white rice and the way the rice was cooked! To those that celebrate Easter, this gave me that Hallelujah vibe, for my taste buds have risen! Along with the Green Iced Thai Tea, this will be my go to! I'll be back for you Green Curry!

Yelp
This is going to be my new go to place for Thai, especially because it's so close to my home. It's in a pretty nondescript plaza and the restaurant isn't known for its ambiance or frills - they spend their energy on the important stuff, the FOOD! So if you're looking for a vibey restaurant to chill at, this isn't really it, but the service is friendly and the establishment is clean. There is no public restroom. Ok let's get to the food: The Tamarind Fish: an absolute must order. Crispy, hot, fresh, and bursting with flavors of chili and basil and tamarind. Crunchy on the inside with flaky hot white fish on the inside. Comes with an assortment of veggies stir fried in. It's expensive but worth it! Fish Sauce Wings: also a must. Crunchy and hot and juicy, these wings will make you smile from the savory crispy onion then close your eyes with happiness as soon as you get the hit of light fish sauce. These are giant and well sized wings! Pad Kee Mao: Basic noodle dish. Nothing too incredible but still delicious. Get it with pork or chicken because it enhances the flavor of the noodles. Chicken Stir Fry String Bean: crunchy and SPICY. We get this one at medium heat and it's spicy enough to render the entire meal spicy. The chicken is tender and oh so flavorful. Green Curry: rich coconut broth, stuffed with delectable veggies and huge pieces of eggplant and zucchini, this is sure to please any Thai food lover. I enjoy ordering this with tofu. Highly recommend and I hope you get to try it!

Yelp
The restaurant is in a popular strip mall that is easy to get to from 680 and offers a diverse offering of cuisine. As someone who cares for an elder parent with limited mobility, I appreciate that Red Chili is in a prime spot in front of accessible parking. Inside greeted with a calming green decor and variety of options to review menu. The place is intimate with primarily bar stool seating and one table with regular chairs. For me, this is a place that I would order to go and not dine-in. Kai was friendly, patient, and helpful. She busily took orders, delivered dishes to tables, and cleared up after guests left. The smell, portions, and presentations of dishes from those dining in reminded me of what an Asian uncle and auntie would prepare for me during a visit. While waiting for my TO GO order, I could see to the kitchen that an uncle and auntie were preparing the food. Since they prepared my food to order, it took 15-20 minute wait. I ordered the stir fry combo of green beans and mixed seafood with white rice & green salad, mango salad, tofu spring roll, a traditional thai tea, and intriguing green thai tea w/lime. You can personalize the spice level. Great packing and food traveled well. Shared meal with my elder dad, who exclaimed he enjoyed it and would like to eat from Red Chili again. *Ratio and variety of SEAFOOD w/GREEN BEANS STIR FRY were good. Hearty portions of white fish, shrimp, mussel, and calamari. I like when 2 of each are included so can equally divide into 2 meals. *MANGO SALAD was delicious to eat both with my eyes and mouth. Lots of textures and fresh crunchy ingredients. I suggest request dressing on the side or ask them to decrease the amount. I had to drain nearly a cup of the dressing, such a waste as it was the perfect balance of sweet and acid. *TOFU SPRING ROLL tightly rolled with generously packed with fresh ingredients. Doesn't make me miss the animal protein. *GREEN THAI ICED TEA W/LIME requires an acquired taste. It was good to explore, but not for me.

Yelp
Pro Tips: Order on their website or call the business instead of 3rd party companies to save $$$. Also, there is no customer restroom. If you have kids etc. Order for take out instead due to this reason. Inside: Walk up to the Cashier area to order. there are some tables that you are able to eat at and a water station available. I ordered online for pick up and when I walked in, it was very busy. The Cashier was very nice and professional. They were running a little behind on orders due to it being a busy Sunday. I went home and noticed that my Crab Ragoons was missing and I called to inform them and they offered to give it to me on my next order but to be honest, I don't know exactly when I will be ordering takeout again so I asked to receive a refund instead. I called again because I realized that I actually received the wrong combo meal when i opened the take outbox. I received a Chicken Green Curry instead of Stir fry. I totally understand the mistake and grateful that I was refunded for the missing items of my order. My refund is in process. I suggest that maybe it will help to cross each item on the receipt that's taped onto the bag as it is placed in the take out bag (this helped me not make mistakes when bagging a Togo orders when I once worked at a restaurant because I did mess up before especially when it gets chaotic and busy). I will definitely be ordering again from Red Chili in the future. I appreciate the kind and professional employees. - The Green Thai Tea was delicious... I'll definitely get again. - The Pad Thai was yummy. My daughter especially loved it

Yelp
Red Chili has been around for awhile. I just never had the opportunity to try their food, so I was happy to get a chance. There is plenty of parking available as it's in a pretty good sized plaza. The plaza has Safeway, Wells Fargo, Jade China, etc. My family recently catered some food for lunch and we were treated to a great meal. Thanks D&C! Samosa Egg Rolls: A favorite Thai curry snack, served w/ cucumber salad and house chili sambal sauce (4/5). Crispy, exterior but with the familiarity of the curry potato filling. Papaya Salad: Shredded fresh green papaya, dried shrimp, green bean, cherry tomatoes, chili & peanut mixed with lime dressing (4/5). Pungent, citrus-y, and spicy. You could tell the freshness of all the ingredients in this delightful salad. Yellow Curry (chicken): Served with potatoes & onions (3.5/5). Good mild flavorful curry. Though, I wish the curry was a bit thicker, but that's just my preference. Green Tea Sweet Sticky Rice w/ Mango (4/5). It came with coconut cream to drizzle on the mango chunks and sticky rice. These next two (fish & noodles), I'll need to try again. The flavors were good, but to really appreciate them, you need to eat them freshly plated off the wok. Tamarind Fish Fillet: Deep fried light battered fish sautéed with tamarind sauce & crispy basil. Pad Kee Mao: (Drunken Noodle with beef) Flat rice noodle w/ egg, onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, basil & chili. Overall, the food was good. I'll be back. Support your local businesses!

Yelp
If you found this place from insta/tiktok, just a heads up: Got roti, pad thai, and tom yum: - food was lukewarm -- like if you microwaved something and realized that it was kinda cold but was hungry enough to eat it anyway - roti is pretty expensive for the portion ($10 for one) - pad thai 6/10 -- flavor is good but also a bit cold - wings took a while to get out (1 hour) but pretty good -- I came mostly for the wings anyway so that was a redeeming factor Food isn't that bad, but the wait is really long to get food and the service wasn't great (kept getting wrong orders to people). Just a heads up to folks who found this place off of social media -- feel free to try it out though. I also saw the good reviews, so I was excited to try. It might be a one off experience.

Yelp
Stopped by recently and was really impressed. The food was fresh and flavorful, service was super friendly, and the ambiance had a nice, chill vibe, clean and comfortable spot to eat. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
We came here on a whim, and this place did not disappoint! It's a small place so not a lot of seating, and it seems most people take the food to go. The wings are on a next level of wings, and we crave these wings! We also had the pineapple rice and noodles which were just as good. We really enjoy the food and will be getting more in the future!

Yelp
It was super hot outside and this place was cool inside. This place is very clean with an easy menu to read. I got the yellow curry with rice and a Thai tea. Very delicious meal! One of the best I ever tried and the Thai tea was very refreshing! The service was fast and the staff were very nice! I'm different coming back again! I need to try more things on the menu! They have party trays too!

Yelp
We hadn't been in a while so I tried ordering from their website for take out. The ordering process was easy but what I didn't realize until after submitting the order was that they charge you fees separately from taxes and tip. I find this odd given it is not through door dash or another service. I sent my husband to pick up the food and I had selected a 5:15 pm pick up when I placed the order online. He arrived and he was told it would be an extra 5 minutes. He waited almost 20 minutes only to find out our food was just sitting on the counter and the staff didn't tell him. Had it not been for these reasons I would give it 5 stars because the food is spectacular. I ordered the chicken pad see ew which is always cooked perfectly and not greasy. I also ordered the chicken satay for my kid but we enjoyed the moist chicken skewers with the peanut dipping sauce. We also ordered the bbq beef short ribs with the rice and salad and I wish I could eat my weight in these. I am not a beef eater but these were finger licking good.

Yelp
My family orders pick up here at least a few times a year for the past few years. We usually get a variety of their BBQ and pan fried noodles. The price is pretty decent for the amount of food, considering Thai food is usually on the pricier side. They are also always very consistent with the quality. We've never felt like they started skimping out on the portion size over the years. Our go-tos are the BBQ chicken, Pad See Ew with tofu, and the yellow curry with chicken. The yellow curry is sometimes just a touch spicy, which is perfect for my mom who can't handle too much spice. We also often get the roti which comes with a delicious dipping sauce. The garlic noodles is another favorite of ours. Also the chicken satay with peanut sauce is a great appetizer! Red Chilis is located in a small shopping area with a couple other small restaurants and a Safeway, and usually it's not too busy and it's easy to find parking. They have a few tables for dining in. Overall, we like this place for occasional family dinners.

Yelp
Delicious fish sauce wings and tamarind fish filet! I love this tamarind fish dish so so much and this definitely was one of the best I've tried, the tamarind fish and wings came out freshly made and steaming hot. Tamarind fish dish had was a great blend of savory sweet flavors with that yummy tamarind tang to it. The fish sauce wings were also umami yumminess! The staff were also super friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Had the Combo #3 with BBQ pork and sticky rice. This combo has a choice of protein: short ribs, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, or BBQ shrimp. Also had a choice of carbs: coconut rice, sticky rice, brown rice, white rice, garlic noodles or steamed veggies. You can add the vegan egg roll for $2 and it's worth it. Came with salad, nuoc mam and chili on the side. Best vegan eggroll I've ever had. I couldn't tell that it's vegan. The BBQ pork slices was tender, slightly sweet with a hint of soy, well marinated and perfectly grilled. The grilled shrimp was very good too. Cooked just right. Sweet , salty and yummy. I like how the garlic noodles were not oily and just had enough garlic to taste but not so strong that it didn't compete with the flavor of the meat. So it did not have the overwhelming garlic taste. Small restaurant with limited seating so it's better for to go. Big menu selection which also included Thai teas. The price is reasonable. Will definitely return to try the ala carte items especially the curry.

Yelp
The food here was great! I came in and ordered the combo with basil, beef, and white rice. Service was fast as you order at the register. The place is kind of small but it was not a big deal because I ordered food to go. The food was flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice and seasoning. It was not overpowering where it would make it enjoyable. It was just right. The beef was perfectly seasoned and it came with fresh vegetables. It also cane with sauce. I didn't know what kind of sauce it was but the crazy part was it made an already perfect dish even better??? How!?! I had ate a quarter of the food before realizing it came with it and once I added it OH MY GOD it was heaven. I was lowkey sad that I didn't eat the whole thing with the sauce but it's okay I'll come back again soon. 10/10 place would come again.

Yelp
A bit on the pricey side for the menu, but full of yummy familiar flavors. The location makes it hard for us (no fast way to get there from here), but I would definitely go back if I was in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Man of man! I truly only have positive things to say about this restaurant! I had heard that they have really good wings and as a wing enthusiast, I had to give it a try! Some people may be a bit hesitant at the sound of fish sauce wings but these are truly the best wings i've ever had. They came out perfectly crispy and sauced. They even top them with I think are fried garlic chips to give it an additional crunch! This place is a 10/10 without a shadow of a doubt!

Yelp
I was craving Thai so I decided to check out Red Chili. I did call in this order on the phone and they said it would take 10 min. When I got there 15 min later, it was already done. They're in a plaza so there's plenty of parking and there's a good amount of indoor seating. I really liked the Roti Canai. They poked holes in the container so it stayed crunchy. The sauce paired together perfectly. The pineapple fried rice didn't really stand out. Not a lot of meat/shrimp/pineapple. I probably wouldn't order this dish again but would try their noodle dish to see if that's any better.

Yelp
Location of the restaurant is not that great but the foods itself is good! The restaurant is very small probably 4 dinning tables inside with simple decor and good for to go. The foods is Thai fusion with Vietnamese. Once enter, you are supposed to order and pay first if you want to dine in. They prefer you to order to go instead dinning in because services here is not that great either. The tom yum chicken was excellent, crispy flavorful outside and juicy inside. The sweet sour sauce comes with it was not a great combination, just dip it was Thai sauces/fish sauces! The Pad see ew was more like a pad Thai noodles than the big thick noodle I usually get at most Thai restaurants, but it was good. The fried catfish was good too. The papaya salad somehow wasn't flavorful and lack of Spicy/lime fish sauces. The garlic shrimp was okay. Overall, the foods were good especially the chicken wing, crush outside and juicy inside as how I like my chicken wings! It is a restaurant but no public restroom.... That is weird!!

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in the plaza. The serving size is decent and they actually adjust their spice. The bbq chicken has a smokey flavor that goes well with the marination the chicken has. The larb was so flavorful, I ate with rice instead of the lettuce wrap. The cucumber side salad can be skipped. There was no dressing or marinade, it was just chopped cucumber. The sticky green tea rice and mango is one of my go to orders. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. The website was easy to navigate for online orders.

Yelp
The food was delicious with a lot of flavor and well worth the price. Tried the vermicelli with pork, probably one of the better ones I've had.

Yelp
Went there couple days ago with a group of 5, some have doubt to go. But after the lunch, all are happy and want to come back regularly. The food is delicious, fresh and good portion. We ordered 3 Thai and 2 Vietnamese dishes to share. Very good experiences.

Yelp
We had the red chili fried fish, tom yum wings, papaya salad, panang curry, salad and garlic noodles. Medium spice on anything with a spice level. Aside from the garlic noodles tasting a bit plain and the spice was a bit weak for medium, everything else was very flavorful. The chicken and fish had a nice crispness to it. There was only one dude working the front when we went but he was very nice.

Yelp
I went to the restaurant. I ask how much for the Pad Thai. After that I paid with my credit card. The receipt only $19.69 receipt. But when I check my credit card statement it was $23.23. I never put a tip. They trick just automatic charge you for tip. I called them the lady was rude her name Natira. Instead of saying sorry she was mad had bad attitude. I will never buy any food to this restaurant. Nancy T.

Yelp
1st time was so good we had to cater for the 2nd time! Tiffany helped with my order and suggested serving size and was so helpful. Never have to worry about the food cause quality is always there. 100% recommend for a place to grab food or even for a big event.

Yelp
Just catered Red Chili for my work training and everyone - LITERALLY everyone said it was really tasty food (especially since it arrived hot and ready). The portion sizes were fairly large for individual packaging making it more than worth my money. The thai teas were also a hit. Everyone was so excited to see it and it was gone in seconds. The whole process was easy from ordering, making changes, and even accommodated to a last minute request of arriving an hour earlier! They really set the bar high for catering. Order from Red Chili for your next catering, you will not regret it.

Yelp
My wife and I came by late afternoon to try this place. It was relatively very quiet and the host was able to help us immediately. We ordered the pad Thai and pad see ew. Both were made to order and came out in about 7 minutes. The food was very flavorful and tasted pleasant. Only comment I had was that the portion sizes were small considering the prices. It was barely enough for the both of us and we left still a bit hungry. Other than that, the food was delicious.

Yelp
I remember ordering pad see ew from this restaurant back during the pandemic and I thought it was just okay. I decided to give this place another try since I was working from home and it's one of the closest "thai" restaurants around. I ordered a tofu basil fried rice, beef pad kee mao, tamarind fish, and crispy garlic shrimp. All four dishes surprisingly surpassed my expectations! Now, I think this is a pretty solid spot for thai takeout and I would definitely come back again. Also to note, I came a bit early and was asked to wait a few minutes for them to finish up. They had the items prepped on the dot of the original pick up time, but the worker still apologized for making me wait.

Yelp
Got the crab fried rice and beef/tofu pad see ew. Both meals were delicious and flavorful. Only downside is the meat to carb ratio. Received more of the noodles in comparison to the beef. Small restaurant. Good customer service. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
I would often order here as it was my go to Togo place for Asian fusion. The customer service went down hill and possibly the grrst staff that was there during the positive experiences I had don't work there anymore. I called to make an order and all I got was, hello? Then hung up. I called back again and same response, hello? Not even a greet mentioning if they were red chilli or not. She also gave many nervous giggles and wasn't great at explaining. I will not be coming back, my other other gave the runs to my poor boyfriend... What ate they putting in their ingredients or even if it's fresh??

Yelp
We came right before closing but the staff were so kind and gave recommendations as this was our first time! We ordered: Passion fruit habanero chicken wings Thai fried rice with chicken Garlic jumbo prawns Roti canai Tom Kha Pad Thai with beef Everything came out really fast! We loved everything - the dishes were very tasty, the playlist, and the staff were so friendly! Definitely will come back again!

Yelp
Nice little thai spot tucked away in the strip mall. Vietnamese dishes also served. Good spot for refreshments. Beef pad see ew is delicious. The beverages are nicely garnished with fresh mint leaves. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Would recommend Red Chili. It's a pretty good Thai restaurant for this area. Try to order over the phone if you can! The prices on delivery apps are much higher than what you would pay by ordering at the restaurant. My favorites so far are the pad thai w/ chicken and panang curry w/ pork. These dishes always hit the spot. I don't think I'd order the yellow curry though. It wasn't as flavorful and the potatoes were chunky and dry. Also they have a loyalty program! Enter your phone number at their kiosk when you order so you can accumulate stars/points. Sometimes they'll also send you coupons.

Yelp
Great taste, quality ingredients, fast service! Ordered 4 items early Saturday evening and everything was done in about 20 minutes. This eatery caters mostly to take-out orders but has a small area for inside dining (max about 5 small tables). I recommend the crab fried rice, pad thai, pumpkin curry and crispy garlic shrimp!! Pricing is higher but is in range with other Bay Area restaurants, average about $15-$19 per dish.

Yelp
Heard about this place from friends and was in the area so I thought I'd order a couple of things for takeout to try with my family. It's kind of hidden in an unassuming location~ the inside is a little small but it's clean and a handful tables for indoor seating. I got the roti canari (SO GOODDD) and the pad see ew with tofu. Both were incredible but the roti canari in particular was AMAZING - my family loved it and I highly recommend getting it. It's a bit far for me so when I am back in the area, I will absolutely be ordering from here again to try their other items ~

Yelp
Service was great however the short rib combo was over cooked and the two shrimps that were included. They both were blackened crisp. Very disappointed. The salad and Eggroll were tasty. It was not a busy time not sure why food was over cooked.
