Red Coach Donuts

We stopped here after a few days on the lake and absolutely loved it! The owners were so nice, the donuts were amazing, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves a good donut. As one of my kids said, “85 thumbs up!”

I consider myself a true donut connoisseur. Many of our family vacations are planned around trying new donut spots. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The establishment was clean and the donuts... OMG! The tiger tail and apple fritter were some of THE BEST donuts I've ever had! And my husband really enjoyed the cherry cream duo stating it was one of the best donuts he had ever had as well. All of the donuts we selected were fresh, flavorful, and decently sized. I am so glad we discovered this place on our recent vacation. I cannot say enough good things. I highly recommend the donuts at Red Coach!

As local as it gets. Cute. Clean. Fun experience. VERY kind young staff members (think chick fil a nice/kind). They serve Forte Coffee, which is solid if you enjoy specialty coffee. The doughnuts are extremely tasty, and the variety is off the charts. We’d highly recommend giving this company a try. Make sure you go early in the morning if you want to have the full menu. Once they’re out, they’re out.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 (stay busy!) Atmosphere: 5/5 (clean and neat!). Red Coach Donuts were nuts (very good)! It's best to go early because this location is a Stevensville favorite! There are many donuts and flavors to choose from, which shows their creativity. I personally love the Lemon Meringue donut, as it was just the right amount of sweet and custard feeling. The pricing isn't cheap, but the donuts are gourmet and worth every penny. I appreciated the help in picking donuts from the staff. You can truly taste the difference from cheap or third-party donut shops. Parking is a little tight, but people were coming and going, which created available parking. All in all, beautiful experience!

The donuts here are amazing! Tried the cinnamon twist (my favorite), a cherry fritter, a chocolate sprinkle, and the weekly special (a yeast donut with Oreo glaze on top). These donuts did not at all disappoint! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick. They have a large indoor seating area and a large outdoor patio as well. 100% recommend if you love donuts!

Hands down the best creamcheese icing I've ever had. I don't know what magic they use to make it so light and still so rich, it's amazing. Everything we've tried has been fantastic. We'll be going back every chance we get.

My wife and I literally choose to go grocery shopping in Stevensville just to have an excuse to come to Red Coach. Highlights: polar bear claw, anything with cream cheese frosting, donuts of the week and month. Lately, I've been trying the savory pastries, and this morning I had the Chimichanga. It was SO good; I'm now hoping they start a taco truck. We're big fans.

BEST DONUTS EVER! Visited a few weeks ago with some family while we were traveling out of town. And we love checking out local donut shops when we travel. 3 weeks later and I cannot get over how soft and delicious the donuts were. My all time favorite was a monthly special: Creme Brulee donut. We tried it, and fell in LOVE with it immediately. Went back to just grab a dozen of those, and we were too late on a Sunday to beat the rush. But that didn't stop us from grabbing a few other delicious donuts. Highly recommend and a top tier donut shop! Definitely on top of my list. Hopefully, I can make a visit back! P.s. THIS PLACE HAS SOME OF THE BESTTTT DONUTS IVE EVER HADDD! I tried to red velvet, glazed, blueberry, and bow tie and simply could NOT choose a favorite! The donuts are light and fluffy and come in a variety of flavors. I also loved that they had options for coffee (ie lattes)! The inside has lots of room for seating and the outside patio is adorable! The staff is attentive and quick. Overall, sooooo glad I found this place!

The donuts here were so soft and fresh. I got a chocolate sprinkle donut and my partner got a strawberry sprinkle. Frosting wasn't artificial tasting or too sweet! Service was fast and there is plenty of space to sit and enjoy food inside. If you have a specific donut want I recommend going when they open as they do sell out.

Best Donuts anywhere, love my Saturday morning trips for a few sweet treats . Not your normal everyday items truly an adventure every weekend. Seeing what's new and just relaxing enjoying the morning with my favorite treats.

The donuts here are phenomenal--if you can get one. The thing is, it's not likely. Their hours are 9-12 and if you get there at 10a, there are only like 3 undesirable donuts left. This isn't LA. It's a small town. Make enough food to justify staying open or change your hours. I will update my rating if I ever get one of these donuts. So far I am 0 for 2 on Saturdays.

I tried a Boston cream, jelly bismark, lemon bismark, glazed, and a maple holland. The donuts are just ok. I would not go out of my way for them and I greatly prefer Black Currant in Union Pier.

The Donuts here are very good, I sometimes come in the morning to get some delicious donuts. I recommend Red Coach Donuts. It's also very clean and the staff are very friendly.

Man, I'm telling you these donuts are incredible! The variety is outstanding! The young associate who helped me was absolutely awesome, made the experience that much better!! And the building ambiance is impeccable, I cannot express how great this place is, if ya love donuts!! A must stop, slow down life and take a minute to enjoy this wonderful oasis!!

Wow! Our family makes it a mission to stop at donut shops anytime we travel. Today we stopped at Red Coach Donuts and were beyond impressed! The staff were incredible. They took time to answer my many questions about the wide variety of donuts! They were passionate about their donuts! The donuts are amazing! I don't think I can pick a favorite. Highly recommend stopping for a fresh donut...or a fresh dozen! (When I say fresh...I mean made from scratch every day!) This place is doing it right!

Super delish donuts! Tried a few classic flavors and they did not disappoint. Lots of room inside to sit and enjoy a donut & coffee. Full coffee menu too for lattes etc. Will definitely make sure to be back!

Red Coach Donuts is hands down the best place to buy donuts in Southwest Michigan. Lots of choices from old fashioned favorites to new delicious creations. The people who work there are always smiling, friendly, efficient, and patient especially when the kids are deciding which donut to choose! There is plenty of seating and it's bright and clean inside. We are Wednesday morning regulars and could easily be daily customers if we lived a bit closer.

Great donut shop near St Joseph. They have a wide variety of donuts of the cake and yeast styles. A few seats inside and outside. Very friendly service. Definitely stop by Red Coach if your in the area.

Absolutely positively some of the best donuts I have ever had in my life and I travel a lot for business. The variety is incredible, the staff is extremely helpful and the place is definitely worth visiting if you're anywhere near the area.

Amazing donuts. Great service. Came around 9 am on a Saturday. First time here. Not from Michigan. Got a dozen, asked for two Oreo and 2 Toffee to start. They only had one of each. The owner offered to top donuts for me if I didn't mind a short wait. Beautiful location. Donuts are very moist, not over fried like most places. Really nice selection. Will definitely be back.

I have a Bulletin board on the inside of the café. Persons are able to purchase tickets for coffee and a donut and post it on the board for people who are lacking or in a deserving mode. Such as if you r or were a veteran, nurse, school teacher etc.. Pull the ticket and that will make your purchase at the counter. Masks are lacking - as there is little cleaning of the tables. By the hired help. Bunch of young kids no older staff to direct them. All in all it's a nice place!

They make the absolute best donuts in the St Joseph/Stevensville area! You won't be disappointed.

Stood in Stevensville not too long ago and had them one morning. Very good. Monkey bread (?) was awesome. Went back to Bridgeman last week and went back for more donuts. Awesome as expected.

Best donuts in Southwest Michigan or Northwest Indiana. I live in northwest Indiana and try to find reasons to go to the St Joe area so I can stop in at Red Coach. They make them fresh everyday and sell out sometimes. Get there early! Quick and easy off/on Interstate 94.

I was so excited to see they were open for curbside pick up. I placed my order and received on time. They are SO yummy and fresh. What a treat!! Thank you

Delicious donuts! So glad to see businesses owned by local people - Larry (red coach) was a staple in the hockey community (as a coach) when I was a kid & I'm glad to see that he owns a business. I was glad to find the novel "mini" fritter concept - so great for tiny mouths or tiny tummies :) Fast service & better yet - a really nice price. We would pay $4.50 a donut in Seattle for comparable donuts.

Fast service, good prices, tasty donuts, big variety, good parking, and convenient location. Great spot for a snack.

Not sure what happened, I tried apple fritter because of recommendations, worst I every had. Item was stale could not find the apple in the apple fritter. Also tried bacon long john, tuff tuff tuff. Would have expected better we were there at 7am. Thought we were getting fresh made pastries what we received seemed to be day old pastries sold at full price Good by won't be back

This is a fun place to go. Delicious donuts of all types and sizes. Quite the temptation since I live rather close. Just wish they could expand their days to include Monday's. More places need to be open on Monday.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff is so friendly and I loved the old school feel. The donuts were delicious! Very yeasty and airy, which for me, is the perfect donut. They were so fresh and delicious, I couldn't get enough. Coming from Chicago, there aren't many places like this in my immediate area and after trying this place out, I think I'll be making the 2 hour drive more often!

Sad! Drove an extra half hour the day after Election Day to come here. Had a sausage filled pocket thing and another donut. Both were cold (seemed like they were kept in the fridge before). I was just so disappointed because for a couple of years, Stevensville was the turnaround point for when I would teach the kids how to drive and I always wanted to try this place.

Delicious donuts at such a reasonable price! I think each donut was $1 which is rare for a good speciality donut. Highly recommend trying this place out!!

Ordered Red Coach Donuts as a dessert for our wedding. They were amazing! Joy and her team put me at ease, had all of the donuts packaged and ready to go when I got there, and delivered with the same amazing Red Coach taste! My only mistake was not ordering more! The guests at the wedding loved them so much that they were all gone!

Finally made it here after wanting to try this place for months and it did not disappoint. My blueberry donut was soft and delicious. My husband said the apple fritter was one of the best he's ever had. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

Went in, tables were dirty. Donuts were sparse and the donut we did have (s'mores) was sour inside when I tried it after I got home. Called in to complain and was asked a bunch of questions as to what I may have done to the donut. Didn't feel like they were concerned with the fact that they may have produce a bad batch of donuts. Just told me that the next time I come in that they would fix the issue. Problem is that I will never want to go back there after a sour donut. Went in to get a refund, felt very insulted by the lady who accused me of tampering with donut. She almost refused to give me the full refund. Buyer beware!!

We're from Ohio, so not sure if we are just used to fluffy donuts with filling, but these donuts were dense. The bacon maple one almost feels too dense with nothing in it. I got a custard filled they called Baravian, it didn't have much filling in it. The coffee was burnt. Was kind of excited, but we had to stop for food again an hour later since we stopped eating the donuts.

The options here are fantastic. Every donut I ordered was delicious. Red velvet, lemon meringue pie, raspberry Bismarck, Bavarian long john; all great. I would get these everyday if I lived in the area!

We had these donuts at a wedding last weekend and they were so great! Everyone loved them. Woke-up Sunday wishing I lived in Michigan. What a great idea for a wedding. I can not wait to visit the store now!

There donuts are the best in the area! Order ahead and get the best selection. My favorite is the powdered sugar, my husband loves the chocolate cake donut!

I had an early morning, so I decided to try Red Coach. I went a little after 7 and was pleasantly greeted by staff and a very bright space. I got half a dozen donuts and a large coffee. I'm a bit of a coffee snob but their house coffee was delicious and did not have the burnt over-roasted flavor of most coffee made en made. The donuts were amazing! I could tell they were fresh and made with care. I ate 3 out of the half dozen (two cake and one yeast) and I had to stop myself from eating the whole box. I highly recommend this place. It is worth getting up early for.
