We had a large crowd, 3 separate orders placed at the register. The table runners delivered everything per order to the tables with one exception. I ordered the beef and chicken fajitas, which was shown on a chalk board at the bar. This was the most expensive item on the menu. The table runner asked if there was anything else? I said yes, my fajitas order. The table runner replied, its still on the grill. I waited. All our guests were about done. I went to the register to inquire, first two said they could not help me, the manager would have to check on my order. Manager listened to me, looked up my order, went back to the kitchen, returned, and told me it would be ready in 5 minutes. I asked that they cancel my portion of our ticket (ticket was still open). Manager agreed to cancel my portion of the ticket and I was asked to sign. Manager offered me the meal. By now all our guests had finished their dinner. Manager offered to pack it up to go, I said "ok". The bagged food arrived about 10 minutes later, brought to me by the manager, including 2 cookies. I had forgotten to tip when I signed the closed out ticket, so I gave a cash tip to the manager with my apologies.
I'm assuming the error was made in the kitchen. The two ladies at the register were little or no help. The manager did her best to rectify this mess in quick order! All our guests enjoyed their meal. I my give this place another try on a future trip to Blue Mountain Beach, time will tell....
