We celebrated one of our dear friend’s final birthdays at the Red Hat and she absolutely loved it. The staff was so kind and accommodating. All members of the party were treated respectfully (unlike our experience across the way at MP Taverna.) The food was absolutely delicious, well plated, and served in a timely and organized manner. It was a little chilly for outdoor seating but we still admired the view of the Hudson River. The fresh tuna appetizer was a fan favorite! We will be back for more celebrations in the future.

I was in white plains for a training. I went there with my colleagues as it was recommended by a friend. Overpriced for sure. Our waiter was so rushed and did not care whether he gave the right answers. Did not take the time to explain. For instance, would a “snack” on the menu work as an appetizer to share? Yes of course was the answer. Then split/share a meatball sandwich?! The food was good but overpriced really! I asked for a medium steak and it was well done. I was just pointing it out to the waiter for info and feedback, and he didn’t own it and pushed back. World class service in my opinion. Just the day before and the day after had medium steak at other places and clearly not the same medium definition. Experience = crap! I am nice and giving 3 stars.

Although this place was a little pricey, I’d say it’s completely worth it. Me and my family went there to celebrate my mom’s birthday and I can confidently say the next time I have to celebrate anything. I will be inviting my family and friends to red hat on the river. I thought it was really cool that they had nonalcoholic mixed drinks even though I’m of age my two younger sisters aren’t so I enjoyed being able to share a drink with them in the fancy cups lol. After dinner, we asked if we could go to the roof to lounge and take photos and the staff and servers were so incredibly kind and allowed us to go up and take photos and we stayed there pretty much until closing. They didn’t rush us at all. They were just so nice and selfless and kind. One of the servers even complimented my nails and told me I should open my own business of doing nails. She was so sweet. I don’t remember her name, but I will never forget her kind words.

What a delicious afternoon I just had, at Red Hat on the River. My friend and I wanted to try something new and after a coin toss, Red Hat it was! I wish the weather had been better because Red Hat sits beautifully on the Hudson and the views would have been incredible. Thanks a lot, fog. The hosts greeted us and sat us immediately. Now here's where the first and only* hiccup of the night occurred: I asked our server if they had Coke or Pepsi products. She said "Pepsi" but when she saw that I clearly had a coke preference, she stated "well I think we have some cans of coke". You mean the best kind of coke? GREAT! I anxiously awaited my can of coke but when the server brought over the glass, already filled with "coke", my suspicions grew. I took a sip of what was clearly FLAT Pepsi. As Judge Judy once said, "Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining." No way soda from a CAN would have tasted like that...and I know my coke. No big deal, I ordered a "sprite" or whatever they actually served and it was fine. For apps we ordered the peach burrata and the crab cakes. The crab cakes, while yummy, were INCREDIBLY small. I'm talking ACTUAL bite size. The peach burrata was amazing! The peaches mixed with cucumbers were incredibly fresh and made for such a fresh bite. We asked for some bread to accompany the burrata. (Side note: what is it with places serving burrata with no toast points or bread? I don't get that) For our entrees we had the lobster roll with a side salad and the rice bowl with shrimp. NO NOTES!! The rice bowl was fragrant and delicious and the lobster was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Since we ate all our food, we knew we deserved dessert. We both ordered the golden latte but mine was hot while hers was iced. I appreciated what they tried to do there, but both of our drinks could've been a little sweeter. I asked for some sugar and it definitely helped. Along with our drinks we shared the lemon ricotta cake. It was superb! We literally ate everything! I actually can't wait to try it again with my fiancé. They have a steak frite on the menu and you can choose whether you want strip steak or a ribeye!

We went for a date night. Went to rooftop bar before dinner. No Reisling, but we made do. Dinner was fabulous and our server was great! Definitely coming back! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Wow, wow, wow!! This place is so wonderful. We celebrated my mom’s birthday there, a table of 12 people and a baby. Everything was perfect. Juan took care of us, and it was awesome! The view is stunning, the food is delicious, and the prices are fair. I highly recommend it! Thank you We will be back soon!!!

Great location right alongside the Hudson river. Drinks were good and the food was high quality. We got their charcuterie board and burrata with peaches which were both delicious. It's pricey but good quality.

Three Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Here’s why: - First, the most important thing, the food! Kudos to the chef! We had the crab cake, the chicken and the scallops. Everything was on point, balanced and delicious! - Second, the atmosphere. Absolutely beautiful with the view of the sunset on the Hudson. Not too noisy and really nice. - Now, the bad. In terms of cocktails. Not good. Ordered a Lavender Lane, not good, not good at all. So I had to return it, that got ugly, but I’ll get into that later. I decided it to replace it with the restaurant’s version of the Aperol Sprits. Not really good, just a mere meh… I believe that the bartenders could have an improvement by going back to the basics. Just had to see how they shook their drinks to realize their lack of essential knowledge. They were just mixing them with ice, instead of using the right technique to actually break the ice. And also, the lack of balance on the drinks. Really one was bad and the other was bland. Lastly, the ugly. The service started normal. The restaurant was a little busy so we could understand a little delay, and that we got, at the beginning. We got our drinks after a while, and to be fair, the beer and the wine were good. But my cocktails were definitely not. So when I returned the cocktail, the Lavender Lane, we all felt an attitude from the waiter when I ordered a different drink and he said “but do you like the Aperol Sprits”, implying that I didn’t know what I was ordering, or that I couldn’t distinguish a good drink from a bad one… Anyways, we tried to don’t put too much attention to it, but then it seemed strange that when we got our drinks the waiter didn’t took our food order, even when the menus were put on the side of the table, and that took another unnecessary waiting time. I have to say that the bussers and the food runners were checking on us constantly and were very polite and attentive as expected. So when my wife’s beer was almost finished, we told one of them to help us get a new one, then after five minutes another one, 10 minutes later the waiter (previously nowhere to be seen) finally showed up with an Aperol, not the beer. (Also, it looked totally different to the one I was initially given, to show the inconsistency at the bar). So five minutes later, we got our beer. By the way, the busboy who poured it, left all the gas in the liquid, so additional training may be required on that end… Anyways, we continued our evening, ordered another glass of wine, that one never came, so our appetite for dessert was gone, considering the waiting times. I saw a lady working close by, whom turned out to be the manager at the moment, and asked her for the check (also, take in account that 10 mins earlier I asked my waiter for it). So gave her my card and she brought the check to sign. It turned out I was charged for THREE beers instead of two. So I had to have someone call her to fix it. By that point I had lost any hopes with the waiter. And so she did, she apologized and fixed it. As I was calculating the tip, the waiter came and tried to apologize, but used an overfamiliar attitude, even called me “hermano” which is “bro” in Spanish which I consider completely inappropriate for fine dining. So when I signed, I thank the manager, the bussers, and the chef. And due to the last interaction, I put to the waiter a reminder to don’t call customers “hermanos”. And finally, left. I took my time to enjoy the beautiful sunset, and as I was leaving, the waiter approached me and with a fake apology, approached the last incident, he, full of sarcasm, said “I’m sorry for offending you by using the word hermano, I didn’t know that it was such a bad word”. I replied “I wish it was a sincere apology” and left. So I believe that the inefficiency and lack of self awareness are things to work in the future. The service deserved zero stars‼️ but thanks to the quality of the food, and the positive attitude of the manager, host, food runners and bussers, I give the restaurant 4 stars, not for the experience that I had, but rather the potential that I see…

Yelp
The Red Hat is in an old industrial building with a ton of parking to the side. The views of the Tappan Zee Bridge and the Hudson River are spectacular. I came during the winter and I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the summer. All of the servers were very friendly. The decor was a Parisian/ casual theme. Dressing up is not necessary but I would recommend a wearing collared shirt with nice jeans. I made a reservation for 4PM and was promptly seated. We started off with the oysters, and the caesar salad. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we needed to get another order, probably the freshest seafood I have had in a long time. The caesar salad was generously coated in shaved fresh parmigiano and had two anchovy filets on top. Anchovies take a caesar salad to the next level, and this was the best caesar salad I have had next to X20. For our main course, we had the steak frites and the cod. For the steak frites you have the option of hangar steak or ribeye. You can also choose between 3 different sauces to too your steak. I figured the brandy peppercorn sauce with a hangar steak would fit the French theme of the restaurant. I was not disappointed, the steak was tender and the peppercorn sauce was not overpowering at all. The french fries were crispy and cooked to perfection, I highly recommend getting the parm/herb topping on the frites. The cod was the only dish that was lacking. We had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and it was rich, light, and delicious. Overall, I am very impressed with the Red Hat. The service was great, the ambiance was unbeatable, and the food was delicious. It is an upscale restaurant so you will pay for it. I definitely recommend this place for a special occasion. My only regret was not subbing the cod for more oysters.

Yelp
This spot is located right off the water in Irvington. If you elect to sit outside you have a great view but the inside of the restaurant is spacious and well-decorated as well. So far, have only been here for drinks and for brunch. Drinks and food are expensive for what they are but your'e paying for the ambiance as well as the location. My husband and I did the signature mimosa flight last time, which was three mini glasses of differently flavored mimosa (one turmeric, one celery, and one berry I think) and were underwelmed with the taste and the price. Would not get again. For our brunch entrees (the menu was extremely limited with just a few items), we got the croque monsieur and the florentine eggs benny. The former was essentially a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and also underwhelming. The eggs benedict was better with the eggs perfectly poached and the potatoes crispy. Would return for dinner when I feel like being a little fancy or have parents in town but would have middle expectations as to the actual food. Also there is ample parking in the lot next door. 3.5.

Yelp
It was so lovely to spend an afternoon on their patio enjoying the water. Service was great, everyone very accommodating. We just split apps -- crab cakes and garlic parm fries. I do not think the crab cakes were worth the price but the fries were great. Food aside, I think this place is totally worth it just to be able to sit on the water.

Yelp
Excellent food! The flavors in each meal are subtle but extremely well paired! The only complaint is considering portion sizes and simplicity of certain food items, the dishes are quite overpriced. Service is great and if you're looking for a place to enjoy a meal with chatter in the background, this is the spot!

Yelp
Sat at the bar! It was small but good ambiance. Those sitting in the restaurant had a nice view of the review. Food was excellent.

Yelp
Great drinks (bit pricey), solid food, excellent views. Tried the crab cakes, burger, and BBQ Chicken sandwich (Labor Day menu). Really enjoyed the burger--it was perfectly cooked as requested. The crab cakes were also great. BBQ Chicken sandwich was satisfying but fell kind of short. It was fried chicken with some sort of BBQ sauce coating. But the combination didn't work for us because the fried chicken skin got soggy. We'll be back to soak up the views of the river. Thank you Red Hat!

Yelp
A nice place along the Hudson River. I'm not a huge fan of industrial ambiance, but I liked it here, perhaps because of the view of the river and the attempt to make the interior look like a French bistro. Irvington has a lot of former factories and warehouses along the river that have been converted into restaurants, offices, even the public library, so Red Hat is among those. The smoked salmon sandwich was good, as was the side salad, but $24 was a bit steep for a lunch I could have easily made at home. I thought it would be served a little more elegantly, and perhaps on a multigrain baguette rather than toast. Service was attentive and courteous.

Yelp
I had dinner there last dinner and, in one word, it was wonderful. The I had the shrimp pasta rigatoni which tasted wonderful but the texture is what was so memorable (there was something slightly crunchy in the sauce that made it so good). The capstone was the dessert, which was some sort of a pumpkin derivative that just popped with flavor. I will return.

Yelp
Red Hat on the River is without question a very professional restaurant. Just about everything about the experience is first rate. There are greeters, hosts on the patio, the food, the service, the decor, the location- all great. If I were to offer complaints here it would be nitpicking. The Chicken Milanese is excellent, the Branzino was great. Apps and French bread were excellent though the entree sized Caesar salad was really small. The only issue that I have with this restaurant is value proposition. Tuna app (3 small pieces) $27 Entree Caesar $24 Chicken Milanese $38 Branzino $44 I know there are many reasons for restaurant prices to be high- food and labor costs..... I have heard it a thousand times. A meal for 5 people without dessert was almost $500. This relegates Red Hat to special event status which means we will be there once a year or once every two years. If they have enough customers then that is fine- but it is really too bad from my individual perspective.

Yelp
This is my second time here. Came for dinner with my 80-year old parents. They loved it. Today I came for a birthday brunch and it was wonderful. Started with the spicy melon margarita and strawberry sangria. Both were great. I saw the pear martini and will have to try it next time. We did a combo of "starters" and one entree. Had tuna tartar which was out of this world!!! Will come just for that!! Also had Housemade Rillettes (pâté). Great appetizer and very filling. We also shared The MackEEE sandwich. The smoked salmon (lox) was as good as it gets (and I've sampled a lot of smoked salmon! This was PERFECT!) And then came dessert. The flourless chocolate cake with whipped cream was glorious. BUT, the Key Lime Pie was the real deal! Really. Like REALLY! If you even slightly fancy Key Lime Pie, make sure you save room for this treat. Not to be missed. For last, we had espresso and some Sambuca. A perfect day to start a perfect birthday year! Many thanks to Kim and crew for making our visit exceptional. The service (even though busy) was on point. We plan to become regulars here.

Yelp
Red Hat has my heart for their food but the cocktails... I don't know if it was an off kind of day for the bartender but we had three different drinks and did not taste the alcohol at all. I would come back just for the view.
google avatar

Yelp
The view on the Hudson. It's phenomenal in the warm months to watch the sunset and have a drink. Great bar inside if it's cold out. Service is great. Prices have inched their way up and recently went for lunch and while it was good, just a bit pricey.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
You can't beat the views here. We even braved the 90° temps to sit outside and take it all in. The food was all very good. The burger was cooked perfectly. The quinoa burger sort of fell apart but was still tasty. The service left something to be desired.

Yelp
This was a wonderful treat in every way , planned by my college BFF Andrea As the name implies this is right on the spectacular hudson river . The view from inside and out was amazing and exactly what i was hoping for . The vibe is cool and relaxed , with servers that have perfected their craft ! We had Kaitlyn who was warm , helpful and attentive . We started and ended with drinks . My bloody mary and espresso martini were perfection . Andrea had a perfectly made vodka tonic ( and martini ) We chose 2 appetizers. The oysters were perfectly presented with a balanced Mignonette sauce. The harissa roasted cauliflower was perfection , spicy sweet and textured . The Pain perdu had a touch of sweetness i totally enjoyed . The crab cake sandwhich ....well let's just say " best i ever had ". We finished it off with our espresso martinis and a slice of key lime pie ! i hate to be redundant .... but perhaps the best i ever had . All of this scrumptiousness with a view ! Actually a 6 star meal and experience ! Thank you to my dear friend Andrea

Yelp
Insane ambiance. The water view is breathtaking. The food and service were equally fantastic. I look forward to another trip out there

Yelp
How is it I've lived in the area for years and never knew about this place and it's rooftop bar and view? Definitely got a few snapshots and selfies up there. The dinner was just as enjoyable as the rooftop view. Service was very attentive and timely. Ask for a table with a good window view. I had the oysters special. They were perfectly shucked and cleaned. Probably the cleanest oysters I've ever had. They were served with vinegar and onions and lemon. Perfect. For the entree, I had the Branzino filet with spinach and garlic, instead of the broccoli rabe. The fish was crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. It's a fish, so beware of bones, but for the most part, they did an excellent job deboning it. The bar has a great selection and I went with the Clase Azul. The dessert menu was also impressive and those in my party loved the vanilla ice cream with espresso. The ladies looked like wolves that hadn't eaten in weeks after they took the first spoonful. Overall, this was an outstanding experience and I would definitely go back. Remember to tip well.

Yelp
My family and I had the most amazing time here for father's day. We arrived before they opened for brunch, anticipating a busy day. Parking is nearby so we took in the Hudson views and walked over to the restaurant, giving our name so that we secured one of the first tables. The sun is unforgiving on a warm day so choose wisely. Our server was very nice and attentive. All of the food was amazing and the desserts were worth the extra indulgence. We took lots of photos with the river backdrop and had a great family brunch-day. I would most definitely come back.

Yelp
good food. lots of vegetarian and vegan options yelp should let me post short reviews
google avatar

Shannon K.

Yelp
Bartenders in rooftop lounge charged a random woman's drink to our tab. They had been talking to her. It was not busy. We were 5 feet away and she never looked at us, but greeted another man who came by. There is no reason why they would "confuse" us as friends who should pay her bill. Somehow our card was charged before we settled the bill. ???Disconcerting. I never post negative reviews but being scammed and coming away with a bad feeling is the worst.

Yelp
I loved Red Hat on the River. The restaurant is beautiful, and it has a relaxing atmosphere. I came to dine here with my mom, my dad, and my grandma. We brought our dog Hugo, and he was given a water bowl. I had two Bloody Marys, the burrata and tomato, the oysters, and the smoked salmon sandwich on gluten-free bread. The smoked salmon sandwich had smoked salmon, egg salad, goat cheese, capers, tomato, and red onion. I ordered this with the side salad. I swear this sandwich is the holy messiah of sandwiches because it was that good. As the main event of the meal, it certainly didn't disappoint.

Jill S.

Yelp
We had a reservation for dinner on a Friday in March. The atmosphere was nice with white table cloths and a good view of the river. The restaurant was busy. We split a burrata appetizer which was probably the best part of the meal. My partner had a cod piccata special that was fishy smelling but he said tasted fine. I had a pasta special with broccoli rabe and mushrooms that was just okay. Our dessert was a lemon ricotta cake which we enjoyed but wasn't amazing. We had a total of three glasses of wine and two after dinner cordials. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. Our service was decent, with the nicest touch being that they have spare reading glasses for diners who forget theirs (it is quite dim in the restaurant). But the food isn't worth the price - we just didn't feel it was anything special. The alcoholic drinks are really overpriced. Our bill came to just under $200. We had a gift card so we didn't feel the sting of the hefty price tag as much.

Andrew K.

Yelp
The gluten free cubano is eh. I would have given it two stars but our waitress was great-If you want a cool Westchester hang this aint it. But brunch with the fam?... sure- Wont go back- im out
google avatar

Joe F.

Yelp
YES! What's not to like? Keep up the great work Red Hat. The ambiance felt like a party you want to be invited to. The food was flawless, and the service sublime. We ordered the ricotta cake for desert and were raving about it the next day. Thank you. See you again soon.

Yelp
Went here for dinner recently with some colleagues. Had the home made pasta with lamb. Pretty tasty overall. I also had a chocolate custard item for dessert, which was pretty good as well. All in all, a good classy dining experience. I would definitely come back for like a group dinner or date.

Kristina C.

Yelp
Excellent customer service and food. A little on pricey side . Restaurant in clean and has beautiful views.

Yelp
Terrific food & service. We'd have love to sit outside but due to the awful weather we sat indoors. A peacefully delicious place to enjoy a meal.

Yelp
One thing I've learned since moving here is that the River town folk like to trash their restaurants. Not physically mind you, there are just very strong opinions thrown around. It's similar to what I'd experienced living on the UWS not too long ago (maybe it's the river)? Reason I bring this up is that Red Hat is one of the places people seem to mention the most. Unfortunately in this case, I have to agree with the critics. First things first: for a restaurant with a casual atmosphere on the water, why the fuck is everything so expensive? You're going to tell me this converted warehouse space costs so much that you have to charge $20 a drink? And $38 for a lobster roll? I call bullshit. You're gouging because you're in Irvington and think you can get away with it. Luckily not every restaurant on the water does this. Went for my wife's birthday. My wife liked her beer (good pick from a small selection) however my drink (hibiscus sour) was a mess. Way too acidic, no booze and small. I should've sent it back. Got Burrata for an appetizer. This could been a little bigger, but it was well done. Rather than throwing burrata on a plate with some arugula like some places, they nicely toasted some bread, paired some marinated tomatoes, and seasoned it well. Got to give credit where credit is due. Unfortunately my lobster roll was one of the lesser examples I've ever had. Way too much celery, way too little lobster, and it was all bland. Isn't the bread wasn't special. It is appalling this was the most expensive lobster roll I've ever paid for at $38. If it was $10 I still would've been disappointed. My wife liked her pasta, however it's hard to screw up vegetarian pasta when you're charging $30 for it. All told this place just kind of sucked. Nice space, servers nice enough, but there's just flat out better nearby. Would do any of the other local places in Irvington (Taverna, Mima's) or go down the road to Half Moon if you need on the water.

Yelp
Fine dinning, white linen and excellent food. we did an early valentine dinner with another couple and chose from their regular menu instead of the prefix and they did not disappoint. i had the seared black cod which was cooked perfectly flaky and moist! we also had the fall off the bone tender short ribs and the burger. i tasted the burrata dish and it was fresh an perfectly mixed with veggies. great view of the lighted bridge at night

Yelp
Always loved this place. Mostly for the ambience and the views. Tonight I was verbally abused by a staff member because I did not move out of her way fast enough. The manager was very nice and apologized. I think next time, if there is a next time, I will go to have a cocktail outside for the viewafter having dinner elsewhere.

C W.

Yelp
Got a hot tea (one teabag and a cup of hot water.) It was $8. Food is fine. Used to be my favorite place, menu changed and the best options are gone and prices have sky rocketed.
google avatar

Levin V.

Yelp
The food was okay. We ordered steaks with it being medium rare and only one came out to be the right cook as the other was overcooked. The fries are delicious. The drinks could be better and adding more to the menu would have been interesting. The value of the food vs the quality isn't up to par and somewhat a disappointment. We asked on the reservation to hold an outdoor view and they said they will honor it. When we got there, it turned to a first come first serve and would have to wait 45 minutes to be seated. The dessert was really good. The keylime pie was delicious. The service was terrible. Took almost 45 minutes to get our drinks, then to have someone come by to get our food order took another 45 minutes. We ended up spending 4 hours there. 2 hours mainly to get orders done. And then we can see when some individuals/servers from the business are mocking some of the customers. That's as tasteless but I won't let it reflect the rating of this place. Overall this place could do better if the quality of food meets the standard and service gets better

Lori L.

Yelp
The food was great and the service was impeccable. We went there at night and would love to return to really dine on the river.

Yelp
Stopped in to Red Hat on the River for some lunch on the way back home from our trip to Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow because we heard great things about it. It's a nice spot, right on the water, lots of outside seating which is very nice but make sure to have a reservation because the tables fill up quick. The inside is nice as well so we sat in there, by a window to still get a view. We got in just before the lunch rush, so we put in our order for a burger and the Mackeee sandwich. The waiter was also nice enough to give us two small samples of the soup, which we didn't ask for but happily accepted, nice touch. The burger was beefy, and a good cook as well, so that was a plus. The Mackeee was original, but feels like it's missing something to make it a complete sandwich. A nice stop in, and would go again.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, and the views are amazing! Perfect summer spot and date night. Inside is super nice so it's good all year round. Also these service was very ver good.

Yelp
Meh, expected the food to be much more wowing considering the price. Service and ambiance were good.

Yelp
Feels like it has gone downhill. This place used to feel elevated, but no more. Service provided is more akin to a diner these days ... food is OK ... you are basically paying Manhattan prices, though. Also, front of house can't conceal their delight when they tell you your seating requests can't be accommodated...

Yelp
Beautiful location, cool building, unique interior. The waiter was very attentive and nice, and all the food was absolutely delicious. We'd absolutely make the drive over from NJ again.

Yelp
Dinner with friends. The plan was to have a couple of drinks and enjoy the hamburgers, and that's what we had. Well made vodka martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives! Excellent. The burgers (I had the Red Hat Burger) were delicious! Freshly made and perfectly cooked, served with fries. Probably among the best burgers I've had in a while. Red Hat is a beautiful space, the tables are nicely set up so that although the place was busy, it didn't feel crowded. The service was very good, courteous, capable and patient, from the reception to the servers and management. Pricey, but worth it.

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant on the Hudson. Exceptional space inside and out. Started with drinks on the roof deck and dinned in the main room. Service, ambiance and food were exceptional. Apps and snacks set the tone for a great meal. Bone in dry aged sirloin frites blew me away. Fun vibe that perfectly melds upscale and casual. A+ all around.

Yelp
This place has gone downhill. I ate there about a month ago and the only thing that was memorable, besides the view, was lavender lemonade vodka cocktail. I had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Don't @ me, ok!? I was expecting something a little elevated and unique. It was disappointing. A friend ordered a mixed salad and it looked like something you put together yourself from the crappy salad bar from a deli in Midtown. Also, the meal was way too pricey for the quality. They are riding on the coattails of their previous success and on the fantastic location. Won't be back any time soon.

Yelp
We stopped in yesterday evening for dinner and had an incredible dining experience! As soon as you walk in, you'll notice the atmosphere is really special - with unique works of art adorning the brick walls, unbeatable views of the Hudson River and Tappan Zee Bridge, and a warmly welcoming staff. Our table of four ordered a variety of apps, meals, desserts and drinks. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the service was top notch. The all around vibe was really enjoyable. The owners even stopped by the table to greet us! We all left feeling satisfied and excited for our next visit.

Yelp
The food is very good. The view is beautiful in the winter a little bit cold because of the wind from the river but in the summer, it's a great place to hang out.

Yelp
Lovely, attentive waitstaff. The ambience was perfect. Food was good. It may be on the pricey side but every penny was worth it. Their burgers are amazing. Loved the shishito peppers! Drinks were good. Not sweet and had just enough kick!

Yelp
Great dinner here with clients so I don't have any photos. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. Everything we ate was fresh, and yummy! I got the pasta special.

Yelp
Beautifully scenic The Red Hat will relax you and make you smile. Sitting on a rooftop lounge with a glass of wine we were disappointed when our table became available. We easily could've enjoyed another 1/2 hour of Memorial Weekend sun and breeze. Outside dining patio type area is nice as well. Service was all smiles. The only issue was the food... We ordered three starters. The Burrata & Tomato was fine - no issue there. However the Crab Cakes (3 & small) left an uncomfortable aftertaste of concern. Thankfully it was just a disappointment. Nonna's Meatballs tasted like they came out of a Chef Boyardee can. What happened here? Shame the food couldn't compete with the wonderful views and atmosphere. Red Hat is good for drinks and bar conversation...
