The experience was great. we were seated at a long high top with another group, but it felt like we had our own space and attention. Our server was EXCELLENT and I felt like she was quick to make suggestions when we (mostly my friend) misunderstood the menu. I had the half smoked chicken which was juicy and deeply seasoned. But we got the pimento cheese as a starter and it was easily my favorite bite of the night. This place came highly recommended and tonight we saw why.

Red Hog is the perfect elevated casual restaurant. You can roll up in a dress and heels or dirty overalls and feel right at home, and I love that. The food is incredible. It’s so obviously fresh, simple but creative in their presentation. Indoor seating is comfy even with the zillion degree wood fired oven right in the dining space. This was our first time eating at the restaurant but have frequented the butcher shop previously - also huge fans. My favorite was The Franck, which is what I’d imagine it’d be like if a pizza, calzone, and sandwich all had a love affair, 10/10.

Second visit, just to confirm my thoughts on the first. Amazing. Easily the best dinning experience in Louisville. The food, cocktails and staff are all fantastic.

My husband and I came here for a date night and had a wonderful time. The service was great. Our server gave us enough time to ourselves without feeling neglected. We got the charcuterie board to start which we grazed on the whole night (pepper jelly is 💯). The burger with beer cheese was killer. Their Alabama white sauce that came with smoked chicken is something else! Ambience at night is magical with the lights. Highly recommend!

Google
Awesome place to eat dinner in Louisville. The burger is one of the best I've had in a long time. Well cooked on the open fire along with the snap peas and asparagus. The chocolate cheesecake was fantastic

Running low on quail and ran out by the time we ordered at 7pm . For hot drink options mulled wine and cidru are available. We enjoyed beef tartar on toast not crackers.Winter salad was on bitter side with citrus fruits and minimal dressing : red or white wine. Two shavings of dry feta did not help either- this is a Summer salad. We had the pleasure to interact with three servers, two very flexible and one less observant; ask for salt and pepper or alternative dressing - not available. The bright green house sauce which is present along most dishes is extra tangy made with strong vinegar. Outdoor seating in tent and with heaters and a beautifully tended garden was empty. Inside the two adjacent rooms were somehow busy but we were not seated on main room. Our seating was by delicatessen window …I would not seat reservations in this area when other options available ..as in seats at a long table.Pleasant background music and a good 20 minutes waiting for main dishes.Hamburger grilled to perfection but grilled pork was just ok and had a sweet side sauce.Thumbs up for using #sustainable straws!!Thank you for supporting the local farmers!!Overall this venue did not live up to the raves we browsed online but is a decent runner up for sure.$124 for three.

Excellent Happy Hour. Gimlet and Paloma were fantastic. Clean and very helpful staff. Grilled cheese with Curry Mayo and Fries for $11. 10/10.

First time going to Red Hog. Had a nice evening there. We enjoyed a drink and their charcuterie board.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Red Hog for a quality meal if you're craving something grilled. The atmosphere is cozy, with a bunch of high top tables and regular tables nestled around a bar and open fire grill space. It feels warmer and more intimate than you might expect but it can be pretty dense with dinner guests if full. Additional seating in the butcher shop area isn't as nice IMO, and haven't tried the patio, but it does look nice and better for a gathering with friends or meal with your SO. In terms of food, I loved the roasted beet app. The beets as a stand alone are great and have a wonderful char, but the labna rounds out the dish with wonderful complementary flavors. The burger is my other go to. It's among the better I've enjoyed locally. Their expert chef makes it exactly to your preferred doneness and it's obvious fresh and generous - not at all a patty that's been sitting around waiting to be warmed. I recently tried their pizza - a little small, but a really nicely charred taste and a spongy, light crust Certainly unique and enhanced with their "magic pizza dust" seasoning. Service, from host to bar tenders to servers, is excellent and makes the overall experience pleasant.

Yelp
Amazing experience stopping in for a late lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant has an awesome staff who were kind and attentive. The space feels cozy and unique. Would love to come back and sit in their outdoor space. We ordered two sandwiches, the tony and the Rueben, both were great! i think the Rueben was my favorite. We also tried a couple of cocktails which were awesome as well as the fries!

Yelp
Wow where do I even begin? Perhaps by saying: Thank you! This year my husband and I decided to celebrate Thanksgiving by ourselves. It was the first time we decided to do this and we were very excited for the peace and quiet. I figured there was no point in cooking an entire feast for just the two of us (and my very picky four year old child) so I decided to order the "Thanksgiving Dinner For Two" from Red Hog. The reheating instructions were precise and easy to understand. Little did I know that what we were preparing would end up being the most scrumptious Thanksgiving meal we had ever tasted. The turkey literally fell right off the bone. The mashed potatoes were so incredibly flavorful and the stuffing was out of this world. Everything was prepared with so much care and attention to detail. It was truly wonderful. I think we have found a new tradition. Thanks for making our Thanksgiving stress-free and so memorable!

LauraLee K.

Yelp
Amazing place! Food is great and I love an open kitchen where you can watch the magic happen.

Sydney R.

Yelp
Had a lovely dinner at Red Hog! The food was delicious and elevated. The customer service was amazing, our rolls were comped after a small miscommunication on the kitchens end, and staff were so friendly. This place has a fun atmosphere with an open kitchen & you can even eat on the butchers side of the restaurant. I would recommend getting a reservation as it fills up, and some tables are stools only for seating.

Bayard C.

Yelp
Anything less than 5* isn't giving this place its due. The setting: a Wednesday pre 6:30 dinner at the bar so attention to detail was on point. A glass of Picpoul with the fried okra (lean on the batter, thank you) was money. Cash money. The Dry Aged Local Cheeseburger, yes at the advisement of bartender extraordinaire Darien, was dinner. This is the best burger I have had. Full stop. There are plenty of establishments out there that claim to be world famous, or have been rated the best in town. Local, dry aged beef ground in-house then cooked over open wood + bacon and put the pickles on top for good measure. This is exceptional and that is an undersell.

Shannon E.

Yelp
We purchased two dry aged ribeyes from the butcher shop at Red Hog. They were pricey, but did not disappoint.

Anita L.

Yelp
I am SO glad we came here for dinner. I was eating breakfast at another place and this guy started talking to me and recommended Red Hog. He was super interesting giving me back stories on various restaurants and told me I must come here for dinner. So glad we did. Our server Kyle was fantastic. So knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. Service was top notch! The menu is an eclectic mix of flavors focused on featuring the best of local produce. We were told that everything sourced was within 100 miles, and the quality absolutely shows! My friend ordered a cocktail, and I, a mocktail (Blueberry Basil Shrub). My friend enjoy her drink and so did I. The shrub was so wonderfully tart that it opened up my palate for the array of dishes to come. The Red Beet Dip was a perfect start. Coupled with feta, sumac, tahini, cardamom, among others, the dip itself was a burst of flavors in my mouth. Paired with the soft, pillowy bread, it was so addicting we had to order extra bread! Next, Vietnamese Sausage! The sausage itself definitely had Vietnamese flavors. While subtle, I could taste all the herbs in every bite. The salad that the sausage sits atop was very refreshing though threw me off a little with its light "creamy" dressing. Never had an Asian flavored salad dressed this way --- but first time for everything, and it was very good. Chorizo Stuffed Calamari -- baby calamari stuffed with chorizo and bathed in the most delicious tomato harissa sauce. Oh geez, this was so good! The bread that accompanies (from Blue Dog Bakery) is outstanding. Slightly charred and just super flavorful. Wood Roasted Squash was right to arrive last as it was my dessert. Delicata squash topped with feta, pumpkin seeds, crispy sage, in maple ancho chile sauce. OMG, so decadent. This was such a fabulous meal, made me so very happy!!

Yelp
It's not about the food or the service or the ambiance it's about the 3% fee they recently charged because I paid with a credit card. Raise your prices I understand you need to make a profit but there are many other restaurants that aren't charging their customers for paying with a credit card and I'll choose to spend my money at those restaurants.

Eric J.

Yelp
Louisville residents and VISITORS! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you have an opportunity to come on a Saturday for the Smoke-Out menu, even better. Wonderful service. Great value. Definitely a BIG YES!

Hayden T.

Yelp
We aren't here to talk about stars. We're here to talk about taking the smoked wings off of the menu. We stopped in last weekend to order some wings. Those are no longer available so we went to FABD for reasonably priced BBQ and drinks.

Daniel B.

Yelp
Incredible meal, drinks, service, and environment for a Saturday night dinner with my father. We split a charcuterie board (3 meats, cheeses, olives, nuts, jam), Bibb Salad, and the 14oz Hanger Steak special. Combine this with a few signature cocktails and red wine and it's a no brainer 5/5 all around

Aaron D.

Yelp
This was our first time here and it was good. The staff were so inviting and friendly from the beginning. We ordered the pimento cheese to begin. Then our mains were the cheeseburger and the half chicken. Our waitress was awesome. I asked for sweet tea and she made some since they didn't have it with simple syrup. I wish I remembered her name. She made our experience here lovely. Give it a try.

Breanna K.

Yelp
loved the ambuance, was cozy and chill. food was great and our server was lovely! the open kitchen concept is really cool

Chris B.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Our server was an interesting sort and fantastic to be around.

Holly A.

Yelp
Any restaurant with a hint of pork options on their menu is my kind of place!! This restaurant is small and intimate, but has a great outdoor space to sit when it's warm outside. The kitchen is open and you can see the food being prepared and smell all of the great smells while you wait. Great little date night spot!

Terri C.

Yelp
Ummm, all was going well until I ordered bread and butter. $6 was added to my check without disclosing cost. How is that ok? Dinner for 2 with one drink each? Prepare to spend $100. And here's the pro tip: don't order bread and butter ( it's at best ... disappointing, anyway. Just eat a slice of Whole Foods baguette when you get home. That entire baguette will cost you $2).

Bruce J.

Yelp
High quality smoked food. Dry aged steaks and other specialty butcher shop items. I had the pork sandwich and it was delicious. Cool outdoor space for eating. Will return to try more items

Jazmin S.

Yelp
I am not a big meat eater, but I still love Red Hog. During COVID, my husband and I got a big takeout feast from there for NYE and everything was fantastic. We finally went and dined in recently and loved that experience as well. They have a great patio and just a few tables inside but it's a really nice space and you can see their wood fired oven. The menu isn't huge, a few appetizers and then several proteins with some shareable sides. My husband and I ordered the burrata toast, hanger steak, fingerling potatoes, and the winter greens salad. Everything was great, I especially loved the burrata toast, which had pumpkin, country ham, and a delicious miso caramel on it. Red Hog is a little pricey, but has good nice size portions. It's a little out of our budget to eat there regularly, but I love it for a special occasion.

Michael S.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick lunch and fell in love! The smoked lamb is out of this world! Service was super, staff were all eager. Talked with the pitmaster who was running the smoker out back. Fascinating and engaging guy from SC. Loved the place!

Elise Dixie Jane M.

Yelp
Hot diggity dog, I love me some Red Hog! I am unsure of why it took years to review but here we are. On our most recent visit (tonight), Darian was our server extraordinaire. Not only were his recommendations appreciated but they were thoroughly destroyed aka consumed. Yes, that's how freaking good they were. We began with the beet salad and the citrus butternut squash raddishio Kale salad. Hot freaking damn. I met my soulmate tonight. And it came in the form of two freshly grown and delivered plates. Honestly, the citrus butternut squash raddishio Kale salad could have been my entree. It was both filling and packed with flavor. In addition to the small plates, we accidentally ordered the mushroom dish instead of mushrooms on top of the raddishio pie. The mushrooms weren't made to forget that they were mushrooms. No, the mushroom dish was built to enhance the flavors of mushroom and temind you just how tasty those fungi are. My husband ordered the burger and it was juicy and perfectly cooked. The fries were seasoned to perfect, with a unique flavor and far from basic. Because we love a good sauce, Andrew went with the Cuban Aioli and the Curry Aioli to pair with those damn good fries. You cannot go wrong at Red Hog. And please do not forget to support your local farms at their adjacent Butcher/Local Cheese & beyond shop!

Shannon W.

Yelp
My current favorite restaurant in Louisville! My husband & I went for my birthday dinner. Yes, the service & vibe are great but it's the FOOD!!! We started with the charcuterie board - great variety, then the charred radicchio salad - yum!! the combo of flavors was superb!! Then we had the Smoked chicken with Alabama white sauce & pot roast carrots. Possibly the best chicken I have ever had!! OMG!

Julie M.

Yelp
Came here for dinner the other night. I had been here a few times before but just to go to the little shop or get take out. This was the first time dining in. I wish it hadnt been 9034 degrees out because they have a lovely patio and I would have loved to sit there. We had impeccable service, our server was very prompt, efficient and friendly. Started out with Burrata Toast with fruit (I think we had nectarines) Broadbent ham and olive oil on Blue Dog bread. I love burrata so much I must order it anytime I see it, and this did not disappoint, so creamy and fresh, all the flavors worked perfectly and I was so happy. My entree was the Wood Fired Pizza with Stracciatella, summer squash, cherry tomatoes, honey and chili crisp. This was amazing, great texture and a perfect summer meal. Also got to try the House fries with curry mayo - that curry mayo was dangerous, i would come back just for more of that. Such a gem, I'm glad I got to come here!

Yelp
Luhvul's Best burger was had Can't say enough great things about Red Hog. when you have people as passionate and dedicated to what they do, you can't go wrong with anything they create. to the house made charcuterie, Bologna to the hand cut steaks in the butcher shop next door and you can not forget the well crafted cocktails and curated beers that pair excellently with the menus items. Iv had the pleasure of quite a few delicious things but tonight's dry aged burger was hands down the best Iv had this year! For added yumminess I added the house made pimento cheese!!! Tell me it's not to die for Service 5 stars is excellent! friendly very helpful and patient very informative. Atmosphere brasserie meets butcher shop, smartly designed space! cozy indoor dinning for sure but with a spacious and wonderful patio. The open kitchen has the perfect equipment for the perfect job. No wasted space here. I look forward to many visits. Food: 5 stars Iv loved everything so far Iv had abs it's always been prepared with expert care.

Patrick W.

Yelp
This is a farm to table restaurant with a changing menu. I had the chicken, which was exquisite. The breast portion was very large and boneless. It was remarkably tender. It was enhanced with Alabama spicy dill dipping sauce. The yeast rolls were yummy and the picked veggies provided a nice contrast of flavor. My table mates had trout and bratwurst, which they said was quite good. I almost always have a take-home box. I asked for some of the dipping sauce to take as well. An otherwise wonderful experience was diminished when I received the check as they had charged $1 for the additional dipping sauce. That seemed so cheap of them!

Jack E.

Yelp
I had a Cesar with chicken, my boyfriend had the Fat Tony. I loved everything about this place.. super tasty food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere, loved the train in the background

Susan M.

Yelp
We were visiting our son and he wanted to go to your restaurant for his birthday! The food was delicious, our service was excellent! There was 5 of us and they made sure we were taken care of!

Karolina M.

Yelp
If I could give this place 6 stars i would. From the restaurant itself to the staff, this place is a real gem. With a great selection of drinks and spirits comes an amazing selection of foods. The brussel sprouts are absolutely incredible and the grilled cheese was the best I've ever eaten. If you're traveling to Louisville or just haven't pulled the trigger on checking this place out, I promise you you'll regret not coming sooner. This is a must go to!

Lilly P.

Yelp
Great spot! Rotating menu and great outdoor seating! There are also other fun places to walk to on Frankfort Avenue!

Bob S.

Yelp
Food at this restaurant is some of the best in town. Unfortunately, with that said, they have implemented a number of new policies that seem mind numbingly stupid. A friend and I show up there last night without a reservation. We checked in with the hostess and were told it would be a 20 minute wait despite Half a dozen plus unoccupied tables. It was explained to us that the weight was to keep their staff from being overwhelmed! We asked the hostess if we could wait at the bar and she said sure. We walked up to the bar and attempted to order drinks from the "bartender" and she informed us. we will have to go back to the hostess to place our order!? it gets even better. We then go back to the hostess and attempt to order cocktails. She informs us that she can only take orders for beer and wine! Despite having a full cocktail menu. She goes on to explain that this is because they have reduced their bar staff from two people to one person and they don't want their one bartender overwhelmed! she explains that we can obviously order cocktails once we are seated!? The last time I checked the money I spend at their restaurant, supports the hostess, the bartender, and everyone else who works there. Which really begs the question, whatever happened to doing what's best for your customers not your diminished staff! Beyond frustrated we walked up the street to a different restaurant sat at the bar were served, cocktails, beer and wine and food! Almost equally as bizarrely their posted hours on a Saturday night is 9 PM. It's light out until 10:15 PM. I assume those oddly early closing hours are so their already overworked and overwhelmed staff can go out to the bars themselves!? You either take care of your customers or your customer simply go elsewhere!

Lora C.

Yelp
Lunch was nice at the Red Hog. Hospitality & COVID restrictions are in play here in the nicest way. Limited space inside, but there are heaters outside. The Cuban sandwich lived up to it's reputation. Choice of 3 sides with the sandwich: soup, salad or fries. I got the French onion soup, but wished I had ordered a salad. The Blue Dog bread is delicious and worth it. One glass of wine was $11 - a bit pricey, but a nice splurge whilst having lunch with friends. Will be back. P.S. Unisex bathroom was very clean, but why do I still giggle when I see a urinal?

Joshua B.

Yelp
We were in town hitting a few bourbon distilleries and we needed some solid food for dinner. I found this spot online and it looked like it fit the bill. It was better than we ever imagined it would be. We arrived for dinner and took a seat outside. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Our server greeted us and was great throughout our visit. We started out with a few cocktails while we decided on appetizers. We settled on the burrata, beats, mushrooms, and steak tartare. For our mains, we went with the hanger steak and potatoes, burger, and Alabama white sauce chicken. Our apps started coming out and they looked phenomenal. The presentation and visual appeal was top notch. We started with the mushrooms and we were blown away. They were incredibly meaty and had exceptional flavor. The beets were a table favorite as well. The vibrant color matched the amazing flavor. The steak tartare served with lavash was a great combo. It had nice richness while still being nicely balanced. The burrata was served over a beautiful slice of focaccia and topped with pea shoots. The contrast of flavors and textures in this dish was perfection. The whole table was very happy with our appetizers. Our mains started coming out shortly after we finished our apps. Everything looked amazing. We shared every plate and there were zero complaints. The hanger steak was nothing short of perfect. It had a great texture and a solid beefy flavor. The potatoes that came with the steak were a surprise. They were fried to perfection and the pickled mustard seeds complimented them well. The smoked Alabama white sauce chicken was really flavorful while being very juicy. The burger was cooked to temperature as requested and it really hit the spot. The bacon jam & cheddar were a perfect combo. Everyone enjoyed their meal. While we were stuffed after dinner, we couldn't pass up the chocolate bouchon. It came out and looked amazing. It was served with coconut ganache, cocoa nibs, & hazelnuts. This was perfect combination of flavors and textures. It was expertly executed. Overall, we absolutely loved our visit. The location, service, and food was all top notch. It truly was a highlight of our vacation and we would highly recommend it. We loved it so much that we came back for lunch before we departed. It was another great visit. Amazing spot!

Josh W.

Yelp
I love this place! The aged cheddar burger is one of my favorites-- and I am a burger snob . The wood-fired grill makes it! Excellent service and quaint atmosphere!

Juan H.

Yelp
Love this place! The food is so good! The roasted beet dip is amazing. And it's so much fun to see the chefs making great dishes in front of you.

Mandy J.

Yelp
Had a delicious dinner at Red Hog on Friday. Their online reservations allowed for easy scheduling and the indoor/outdoor space was great for a warm April evening. The mussels were huge and the broth had incredible flavor. I'm a big garlic fan and there was whole cloves of cooked down sweet garlic. 10/10 The steak was equally amazing and came highly recommended by the staff. I live right down the street so I will be back but this is worth a drive if you're looking for a delicious and unique experience.

Emily H.

Yelp
One fun part of my birthday: getting some to-go for lunch. And the place I got it from: Red Hog Restaurant! It was easy to find something delicious to order from here. I got the "Best Damn Cuban" sandwich, which lived up to its name. Pulled pork, ham, pickles, mayo, mustard and pepper jack on focaccia -- this sandwich combines the great meats of Red Hog with the bread of sister restaurant/bakery, Blue Dog. Even as carryout, this sandwich was perfectly warm and delightful when I ate it. This takeout was shared with my mother-in-law, and it included sharing pumpkin cake (a savory and sweet fall treat) and chocolate torte (small and decadent). Next on my list to try: the MANY to-go cocktails. Red Hog is bringing their creativity to our crazy times, and I'm here for it.

Sheridan G.

Yelp
This is my FAVORITE restaurant in the city of Louisville. Red Hog does not disappoint. It's a small place but the outside communal table is not only stunning but fun to be at. Great outdoor patio that is covered and heated in the winter. Only complains are: if you fall in love with a dish, it will likely be gone after the season with a new incredible replacement creation and parking is horrible on Frankfort.

Leah M.

Yelp
We love Reg Hog Restaurant. My husband and I have been a several times and each has been wonderful. Service is always spectacular and the food is unique and tasty!

Tanya P.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this first time visit. I ordered an Old Fashioned, Brussels sprouts, grilled cheese with bacon jam and french fries. The Old Fashioned was the perfect strength with a good flavor and the perfect bitters ratio. I also enjoyed the single square ice cube which was later added to my water. The water was crisp with a great filtered taste. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts! They appears to be flashed fried and then tossed with a maple syrup and cranberry purée and topped with slivered almonds. I could eat the Brussels sprouts every day!!! I liked the grilled cheese but I would suggest sharing as it is just as rich as it is delicious. There were several cheeses with bacon crumbles and this phenomenal bacon jam. The fries were good - nice and crispy!

Alexis B.

Yelp
Butcher Chop Only!!!!! That was some of the best bacon I've ever had in my life. All of the cuts are locally raised and you can tell! The prices are not bad for what you get:fresh meat that is out of this world. The employee working was also so helped UL and knowledgeable about the cuts and the sources of their meat. I can't wait to try the restaurant.

Michelle E.

Yelp
Cool spot with great ingredients. This is a butcher/restaurant that is tiny but mighty. They are pushing out superbly cooked proteins with great service. Very casual vibe with elevated food. I recommend the smothered it's deceiving in its simplicity, but executed to perfection.

Bianca P.

Yelp
This is such a great place to get an awesome meal. The atmosphere is hip, the food is fresh, and the drinks are spot-on. They change up their charcuterie board so it's always different and interesting. Ours came with Brie, Camembert, cheddar, mortadella, liverwurst, and country ham along with plenty of accoutrements. For dinner, I suggest anything that they make next door in the butcher shop like the sausage which was served covered in beer cheese and accompanied by their addictive fries. My friend had a burger which he said was delicious.

Michael T.

Yelp
Will definitely be back. Great sandwich and fantastic service. Cool spot. Recommend for everyone.

William S.

Yelp
We've been here a few times for lunch or just to the butcher shop. But the food here is amazing. Today we started with cocktails which are always changing and delicious. For lunch we shared a bowl of andouille and potato soup which was nice and spicy. Then my wife got the burger which I've had and is really good. I always tend to get the Best Damn Cuban because it never disappoints. It's sooooo good. I usually get the fries with it but today the fries were a little too salty. Mind you I still ate mine and half my wife's because.....fries..... It's a great place to come for lunch or I guess dinner but I've only ever been here for lunch.

Tony W.

Yelp
Was really disappointed in this restaurant. When we got there we were told they were out of the shrimp appetizer and the shiishito peppers. Then when we order our entrees we were told they were out of the chicken. So basically our only option was a burger unless we wanted to order a $50 steak. We all talked about leaving and going somewhere else but decided to just get the burger and enjoy our night as we had already ordered our cocktails. Let me just say we all agreed the burger was nothing special. One of the comments in our group was they make a better burger at home. Hopefully this place can get it together or they won't last long as people will not go back if they keep running out of food.

Dewayana B.

Yelp
The server was amazing..I forgot his name..simple menu..delicious. I took the server's suggestion and got the cold sandwich with the house made meats and it's was superb. The home made ginger-ale was perfection. We tried all the different house sauces and I like the black truffle garlic aioli the best!!! Oh and the pepper jelly with the pimento cheese heavenly.

Drew H.

Yelp
Red Hog is my white whale. I live in the neighborhood and have reviewed all of the businesses next to it. Every-time is go to The Wine Rack in the evenings I smell the wonderful Smokey aromas emanating from Red Hog. It's always just been a bit more than I've wanted to spend but I decided tonight was the night I would remedy this. I was seated right away (perks of being a solo diner) despite there being a very short waitlist and the restaurant absolutely hopping for a Tuesday night. I was seated inside and got to smell the wonderful aromas of the open kitchen. The decor is sleek but not painfully cool, I ordered the salami cotto pizza, fries, and a PBR. The food came surprisingly quickly. The fries are perfectly seasoned. The Mayo curry dipping sauce adds the perfect amount of body and acid to the fries. Despite not having a red sauce on the pizza to give acidity to keep it from feeling like a fatty bomb it never gives into that that feeling because of the pickled peppers. The salami is wonder and smoky and savory. The crust is also delightful. Perfectly cooked so it has crispy bits but also nice and soft and flavorful on the inside. The PBR is definitely a pbr The portions were decent, especially the fries. I will fortunately had enough for leftovers and will get to enjoy them a second time.

Milton H.

Yelp
Brooooooooo...this place is fire! I don't give five stars lightly, but this place has earned it. From the drinks to the food, everything was top notch. The fried cauliflower was amazing along with the carrots. The burger has now become the best burger in Louisville. Holy Grale used to have the best burger, but this one has taken the title by a slight notch. The overall restaurant was super clean and staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend peeping the scene of this place when you can. I'm out !

We came here for brunch and had a great seat on the patio. We ordered with an online menu, that made it easy to see all the options. I got the Italian sandwich and it was very good and very messy. It was so filling, I almost could not finish it. Our waiter was very friendly and helped with some fans that were readily available on this hot day. We stopped inside for some meats for a cheese board later. (which also ended up being so tasty!)
