We went here due to a friend's recommendation. This place did not disappoint. We ordered 3 cup chicken, scallions with lamb, stirred fried beef with noodle, and bitter melon with salty eggs. They were fresh, flavorful and delicious.

Google
Traditional Taiwanese restaurant serving up authentic dishes We tried three dishes - all were tasty and authentic tasting. (1) braised pork rice - tasty (2) pan roasted fish cake - crispy on the outside (3) three cup chicken - super authentic with great basil flavor

Google
Traditional Taiwanese restaurant in an unassuming venue, serving up a lot of delicious classic dishes. Fast and efficient service, but some of the sizzling platter dishes seem to use the same sauce with different proteins. Small parking lot, so need to look for some street parking.

Every meals we ordered are very amazing. Especially 3 cups of Tofu is very nice. We had really nice time in this store. Atmosphere is nice as well. I am going to came back soon. I will try different meals. I can not wait!!

Last time had dinner here was 10 years ago, luckily this restaurant survived, foods are good as 10 years ago

First time here. The food was tasty. But with only 2 waitresses for all the tables on a weekend, we had to wait a long time to even pay the bill. The place is not huge but only 2 people on the floor to be the cashier/host/waitress is not enough. No water refill either. The food was good but I may not come back being other places as tasty as this one with better service. Not sure if it was only this day but the atmosphere was tense too because of how stressed the waitresses were running around.

Eating at Red Hot Wok was a new experience for me, and I'm happy it turned out so well. The 3 Cup Chicken was a real treat, and the sizzling chicken with black pepper had just the right amount of spice. Those fresh chilies on the side gave an extra kick to the meal. I sipped on a gold beer, but I think it would be great if they expanded their drink options with more Taiwanese beers, rice wine, and whiskey. I'm already planning my next visit because I can't wait to try more of their delicious dishes. The food at Red Hot Wok has left a lasting impression, and I'm excited to explore more Taiwanese flavors on my next trip there. But I am coming back again to try them all !!

Google
Pretty decent Taiwanese food cooked with enough heat for the real wok flavor. Service was prompt too. Pricing a bit higher than the other similar Taiwanese restaurants around Cupertino area. Overall can recommend.

Yelp
5/5 the best place to get Taiwanese food in the bay. The three cup tofu, moon shrimp pancakes, beef with green onions, and sizzling lamb are amazing. Would recommend coming with a group and trying a variety of dishes with rice. The restaurant is very casual and has bench-like seating and wooden tables. The Polaroids in the walk are also a really nice touch.

Yelp
Still a solid choice for Taiwanese style food. We came when dinner service started at 5PM on a Sunday night and there was no wait for a party or 3, decent amount of empty tables, by the time we left around 6:30PM, there was still one table available so wait time was not as long as when I had gone previously. - salted egg yolk tofu- favorite dish, love egg tofu - lamb fried noodle with kang kung in satay sauce- a lot of my favorite things featured in this dish, fairly large noodle portion. tender lamb, decent amount of kang kung - three cup chicken- small portion size, still on the saltier side, love the garlic inside, chicken pieces are fairly small, lots of small bones so beware as you're eating - stir fried beef with bamboo shoot in chef's spicy sauce- this was the only dish we ordered with a kick, not too spicy. generous bamboo shoots, saucy. - eggplant in garlic sauce- enjoyed that the eggplant was large cut pieces, not too mushy. - mango shave snow- shave snow isn't very common here in the bay area so if you're craving soft fluffy ice, this is the place to go! personal favorite is their taro shave snow but they've only had it available 1/3 times we've requested. mango dessert was definitely on the sweet/syrupy side. we ordered a small portion size and i think it was a good amount for 3, 4 if you just want a little taste.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place. How did it slip?? Red Hot Wok is one of my go-to's for good authentic, home tasting Taiwanese food. Every bit is flavorful and tastes just like home. My absolute must-have's every time I come: Minced pork over rice Garlic sauteed on choy Mapo tofu Green beans Fast and friendly service. Ive never dine here before, always take out.

Jina Y.

Yelp
The clientele was mostly Asian folks when I went. Service was very prompt and took our orders quickly and turned around our meals quickly as well. We ordered the salt pepper shrimp, garlic fried Kang kung, and combination fried rice. The shrimp was deep fried perfectly with a crispy exterior and plump juicy interior but it was a bit too salty for me .. fortunately the side of rice and veggies balanced things out. I would recommend returning to try other things on the menu. Fried rice was a universal win all around and the veggies was also nicely done

Yelp
This is very much a hole in the wall place with amazing and fresh food! They close at 2 PM (for lunch) but basically accept customers all the way until that time. I got the Chicken and Bones and it was very flavorful with ginger pieces and the sauce went amazing with rice. the eggplant with garlic sauce was actually my favorite! As the eggplant was well coated with the garlic sauce and was not too mushy. Also got some popcorn/crispy chicken and it's exactly what you expect with the classic white pepper seasoning and the sweet chili sauce Can't wait to come back and try some more dishes!

Susan Z.

Yelp
My favorite lu ruo fan is from Red Hot Wok, hands down! Perfectly marinated pork belly with just the right amount of lean vs fat ratios. They don't skimp out on the meat too in their bowls and the flavors are just amazing. Reminds me of the lu ruo fan I can get in Taiwan! Besides their lu ruo fan, I've gotten various other dishes on their menu and they're all really good. Love their mayo shrimp and tofu with duck eggs too. Call ahead for pickup or dine-in!

Cyndi C.

Yelp
Hmm did this place get a new chef? The mapo tofu Taiwanese style did not used to taste like Szechuan peppercorns, and the green onion beef didn't used to be full of yellow onions. I'm hoping it was just a one off experience.

Pranathi B.

Yelp
The air in the restaurant felt heavy and stale as soon as we walked in. It took me a lot of time to get used to it after settling in at our table. I felt suffocated and desperately wanted to walk out but stayed put. I want them to take note of this and air out the room often. It was closed without any ventilation which could be the reason for this. Anyway, let's talk about the food now- We got Egg fried rice-5/5- umami rich with a delicious eggy taste. Though we ordered egg fried they added in chicken by mistake. The chicken was suspiciously soft. I can't be certain that it was uncooked but I didn't enjoy the texture. Chicken noodles with sauce -3/5- the sauce in the noodles was too runny and the noodles just felt disparate. Chicken with bamboo shoots in chefs spicy sauce-3/5- the chicken was again suspiciously soft in this one, the sauce it came in wasn't flavorful as well. Chilli sauce- 5/5- this is not a dish we ordered, rather it's the sauce they offered on the side when we asked for it. It was made with green chillies as opposed to red and was a flavor bomb. I will go back to the restaurant just for this sauce. And the only reason for rating them at 4* instead of 3*.

Yelp
Claimed to be very authentic Taiwanese food by friends, this place displays a very family-oriented setting with homey vibes for any party size. There was some rush but rarely any wait and great service. Pictured: mapo tofu, house special grounded pork rice bowl, and beef fried noodle with kang kung in satay sauce. The mapo tofu was definitely the star of the night. The overall flavoring and spice level wasn't overwhelming and could be served to most people that can handle a mild spice level; nonetheless, perfect to my liking. The sauce was amazing and coated the tofu and meat in every bite. The pork rice bowl was also very delicious and provided a good change from the saucier dishes. Meat cut into smaller pieces tend to get dry quickly but this was still juicy and had lots of flavor. The beef fried noodles with kang kung were covered in a sweet and savory sauce with a very mild level of heat to it. Good balance of both the meat and veggies. 9.5/10 will def come here again!

Yelp
I love this place so much, so it's a shame I don't come here more often ! They have some super yummy Taiwanese food, and the inside of the restaurant has almost a rustic, shed-in-the-mountains kind of vibe, with communal seating. The service is okay, mainly people just trying to do their jobs. As it is a smaller establishment, you might have to wait a little while during peak times (dinners and weekend lunches). After I get a meal from this place, I also love ordering their shaved ice dessert that reminds me of Taiwan as well. Would highly recommend !

Jessica C.

Yelp
三杯肥腸 is so good! It was tender, not over cooked and has great flavor. 10/10 recommend. Remember to bring cash!

Lydia L.

Yelp
I was so pleasantly surprised by how yummy all the dishes here were!! I loved each and every dish that was ordered. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! I came here on a Friday night at around 7:30 the tables were pretty filled up, but thankfully we were able to snag one. The service here is really fast, the dishes also came out a lot faster than I would've expected. Really delicious Taiwanese food, I would recommend giving this place a try!

Yelp
Taiwanese food in a setting that just feels like home. The servers were very nice to us. Within 45 minutes, we were able to walk in, order, eat, and pay. The food came extremely fast. I really like the dark decor or the interior, as it makes the vibe of the restaurant feel more intimate and conducive for jovial conversation. The braised pork rice is a staple in my Taiwanese childhood, and this was a wonderful taste setting the standard. The only ones I could think were better were the ones I had in Taiwan (and the one my mom makes). As for the stir fried bamboo with chicken, the sauce was a little too much as well as too sour/sweet, but for our light meal, we were very satisfied with both the price and amount of food.

Lilian L.

Yelp
The day before Father's Day 2019 - my dad loved everything here. All the food is great and we've been back some other times. Ambiance is cozy, homey, and always a good time if you're into something like that. If you're looking for 'upscale', this won't be it.

Yelp
What a cool place to enjoy a Taiwanese spin to wok cooking. Most of us are traditionally used to Chinese wok cooking but this will open your eyes to a more diverse style of cooking with different options and flavors. This is the second time I've come here and it did not disappoint. We ordered a total of five dishes. Some were hits, some needed some slight modifications but overall we really enjoyed this meal. My wife and I wanted to get a nice variety and came with an appetite. We decided to get a traditional pork rice bowl, along with a stir fried chicken in their satay sauce, pork ribs, a seafood sizzling plate and green beans. My favorites were the stir fried chicken, pork ribs and the green beans. The stir fried chicken was juicy and the sauce was on point. I loved the basil addition which added more depth to the flavor. Be careful of the chicken bones and make sure you double check each bite as you can accidentally swallow a sharp chicken bone. The pork ribs were cooked perfectly. Black pepper went well with the pork ribs. The green beans were so easy to eat and provided a nice balance with the heavier sauces and strong flavors. It itself had a delicious garlic sauce which made it extremely flavorful. Wasn't a huge fan of the seafood dish. It lacked flavor and could've benefitted with more salt. I did enjoy the variety of seafood it came with. The pork rice bowl was standard. The pork was on the tougher side but nevertheless, was enjoyable. This is a smallish place and based on my experience, gets busy during lunch time. The staff is friendly and they are on top of all the food orders. I highly recommend trying this place out

Yelp
Went for Weekday Lunch Special Food - 3/5. Fish soup had a delicate yet deep seafood flavor. Fish was tender and the pickled mustard greens gave a refreshing sourness. Shrimp cake was dense with a smooth texture. It had a bouncy bite which paired well with the light crunch of the batter. Flavor was light with not too much oil and it paired well with the strong taste of the sweet and sour sauce. Bento box had a good variety of items with my favorite being the cubes of curried potatoes. It had a rich flavor with a good bite on the potatoes. The vegetables were good as well, soaking up the savory flavors of the chicken. Unfortunately, the main entrees were lackluster. Sizzling beef lacked any sear, leading to beef tasting stringy and bland. The sauce did not help either as it was too weak to elevate the already middling beef. Taiwanese sausage was awful as it was way too lean. It lacked any kind of sear, almost like it had been boiled or microwaved, leading to both poor texture and taste. Service - 3/5. I don't require long conversations, but the waiter seemed very adamant to cut the conversations as short as possible. When I asked what certain items were he would give the most basic of answer such as "chicken. fish." which is information I can already ascertain by looking. If it is someone's first time, I would have liked the staff to at least want to explain the food they serve with a modicum of enthusiasm. Value - 3/5. The lunch special offers good variety and a lot of food for the price point of $17. However, the quality was lacking in the main entree, to the point of being bad in regards to the sausage. I might have chosen the wrong items, but since it was offered on their menu, I believe it is fair to make the judgement. The moon shape shrimp cake was fun to eat, but too expensive at $17. Parking - Private Lot (Free)

Yelp
A long overdue review of one of our favorite Taiwanese spots in the Bay Area! Not only is service ridiculously fast but the food is top notch! We've been on several occasions and love their Three Cup Tofu (trust me, it's better than the chicken because the tofu absorbs all the sauce!), Ground Pork Rice Bowl, and Hot and Sour Soup. They have a slight cash discount as well. Seating can be crowded during busier dinner hours but since the food comes out so fast, the wait time usually isn't bad. Inside of clean with long, wooden tables - great for family style sharing. We once came to order take out at 4:55pm before they officially opened at 5pm and we had our food in hand by 5:03pm. So, so fast!

Clarisse T.

Yelp
i finally visited this place a couple months ago and subsequently placed a doordash order a couple weeks after. must say overall i'm pretty satisfied with most of the food and there are def taiwanese flavor! love the salted egg tofu dish as well as this lamb dish with green onion. i also tried the boiled pork belly in chefs special sauce - classic taiwanese dish. will def return to try more stuff.

Emerson Y.

Yelp
I love this place. It's my favorite Taiwanese restaurant in the Bay Area. I ALWAYS get one of their 3 cup dishes (tofu, salmon, eggplant, chicken). Their menu has English and Chinese. Nothing is that spicy, so don't let the name scare you off. Interior is nicely maintained but can get loud when full. There is a single table for outdoor dining.

Anisha D.

Yelp
I hate to write a bad review but this place was not worth the hype! I ordered the sizzling salmon with black pepper sauce & it didn't taste like anything! Sorry I do not recommend this place I won't be coming back.

Ivy C.

Yelp
Hands down, I think they have the best Taiwanese food in town! My coworker grew up in Taiwan and also highly recommends this place. The staff is friendly and courteous and they take reservations. Food is consistently tasty. They're most known for 3 cup chicken (I get mine with tofu and it's just as good!), eggplant, braised tofu, and crispy shrimp.

Andy L.

Yelp
Red Hot Wok is the best Taiwanese food in the Bay. There's honestly not much competition, but it still rises above the rest. We always get the salted egg yolk tofu and the three cup intestines. The shrimp moon cake, braised pork over rice (always order a double serving of pork), and seafood sizzling plate are hits as well.

Yelp

Yelp
I came here to meet up a group of friends based upon the recommendation of one member of the group. Located in an unassuming corner lot, this tiny restaurant gets quite a bit of food traffic. As I was waiting outside for the rest of my friends to show up, I continued to see groups of people coming and going from this establishment. The space inside is pretty cramped, but we were thankfully able to secure a large table without too long of a wait. Service here was pretty friendly, and we appreciated that they didn't rush us as we both waited for habitually late stragglers of the group to arrive, as well as everyone to decide on what to order. The food itself was slightly on the pricier end, but understandable given the current inflation. However, none of the many dishes we ordered really jumped out at me. Most of them tasted pretty average at best, and some were a bit too heavy on the sauce and sodium. Limited free parking is available in both the private lot out front, as well as on the street.

Radhika K.

Yelp
We dined here as a family, and our experience was mixed. The veggie fried rice was quite bland, and the veggie noodles had an unusual taste. However, the green beans were the highlight of the meal. The sauce was absolutely delicious, and the green beans were cooked perfectly, retaining a slight crisp. The staff was friendly and efficient. While I would definitely order the green beans again, I would explore other menu options next time.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Got takeout today, including a bamboo, pork and tofu bento and a pork chop bento. Both were underwhelming. Quite a lot of food, but the quality of the sides and mains left something to be desired. The first dish was kind of goopy. The second was overcooked. Even the rice and soup were not that good. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it was kind of gloomy. Service was friendly. They gave a small discount for cash and I just gave it back to them in a tip.

Janan D.

Yelp
This place has some seriously legit food. It's crowded so make time to wait during the lunch hour. Food comes QUICK. There is SAUCE all up on this. Came with 2 people and we shared like 3 dishes and ordered rice in the side. The veggies were addictive! Couldn't have enough. The mapo tofu had this wonderful silky texture and it tasted SOOOO good with some white rice. I could eat this FOREVER. Just chugging. Like Thomas the train. Now the three cup squid. Something I loved about this is that there were huge slices of ginger like I saw at a neighboring table had in their three cup chicken. Sooo good. Nice and chewy texture. There is a little sweetness to the sauce so it was soooo pleasannntt

Jacqueline N.

Yelp
The food here is sooo good!!! I was craving chinese food and saw this place on yelp and decided to try it out. Everything was so delicious! The food comes out fast and piping hot. Every dish has that delicious wok taste that you can't get at home. Seriously couldn't get enough. I've been three times since. My favorites are the three cup chicken/squid, shrimp fried rice, and the stir fried ong choy. But everything I've gotten has been good. Would definitely recommend. The restaurant itself is small and the tables are close together. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Price: 5/5

Wesley T.

Yelp
This is a solid Taiwanese restaurant with good food and lots of options. Its located near the Main Street Cupertino Area, and parking is limited. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that can feel lively during dinnertime. Cash is preferred, as you must spend over $25 to use the credit card. My go-to meal here is their egg sausage fried rice. You get a lot of food for a reasonable price and it has a good mix of vegetables (cabbage), egg, meat and rice. It also tastes amazing as well and reminds me of the food I ate back in Taiwan! They also have traditional Chinese/Taiwanese dishes that you can pair with rice as well! Come to this restaurant for some authentic Taiwanese cuisine! You will not regret it.

Elie M.

Yelp
The food tasted like something you would eat at home. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend the cast iron dishes. My favorite was the tofu on the skillet with the red and green peppers and onions. This is a Taiwanese restaurant which I rarely go to and am looking forward to my next visit.

Jeannie P.

Yelp
I love Taiwanese food and have been to Taiwan too many times. This could be one of the best in the bay area. It's a lot more authentic compared to the other Taiwanese restaurants in the area. The food is very flavorful, but still oily , especially compared to the actual Taiwanese food I had in taiwan. The service was quick. Their credit card machine was down when we visited.  However, I would definitely come back here if I ever feel like having Taiwanese food.

Christine L.

Yelp
Everything was SOO GOOD. Definitely coming back. I am weary of this type of food at restaurants sometimes because veggies get over cooked or too salty but everything was perfect here. A Choy veggies was a nice compliment to other dishes and portion was pretty generous for 3 people. Beef noodle, so tasty, lots of beef and veggies. 3 cup chicken, chicken was cooked perfectly and the Thai basil was perfect. Often times places only out a couple pieces of Thai basil for color but it felt like they added enough to really enjoy the taste. Mango shaved ice here was honestly tastier than some shaved ice dessert places I've been. Parking lot is somewhat small but street parking is available. Service is typical Asian restaurant. It is loud and noisy in there but it's all part of the experience. Bathroom is located in the kitchen which isn't ideal but at least there is one.

Joshua H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the overall ambience of this Chinese restaurant as it reminded of a casual late night bar setting if I was looking to go out with friends. In terms of the food, I was a bit underwhelmed with the specific dishes we got but would be open to trying the other Taiwanese dishes. The three cup chicken was flavored very well but I found myself annoyed with finding an excessive amount of bones in every bite. The pork egg rice great but I just wished they would be more generous about the portions for pork.

Chris M.

Yelp
The food is outstanding. The service is terrific. And the ambiance is very casual. I have to say that the hot clay pots are amazing. Highly recommended.

Cynthia W.

Yelp
Very very good good. Portion is huge!!! Be prepared to take leftover home. It was very busy when I got there. They had huge amount of to go orders and most of the dine in tables were full too. The serve took our order after a while of waiting. Food came out a bit slow tho. The store is quite noisy because everyone was chatting quite loud. People who ordered to go also waited inside so it was a bit crowded.

George C.

Yelp
Red hot wok is a restaurant you come to for a homey Taiwanese meal. Typically it'll be $20-30/per person which is reasonably priced in the Bay Area. If you come in the morning right when they open there's no wait. The full restaurant can seat about 35-45 people so there can definitely be long waits during peak hours since they have about 9-10 tables total that people can be seated at. 3 cup chicken is must order and delicious The black pepper tofu or beef are highly recommended Salted egg yolk tofu is also very yummy Lamb was solid and tasted very fresh The hidden secret of red hot wok are the desserts. I 100% recommend ordering some snow ice here. The mango and fresh taro snow ice are fantastic but if you want red bean the milk snow ice is also very good. The shave snow here is shaved very fine and is honestly the best snow ice I've had compared to places like sulbing, meet fresh, cocohodo, and others. This place is underrated for dessert and you MUST order the dessert here.

Juliet T.

Yelp
Feels very homey, traditional, and casual in the restaurant! There is lots of background chatter and just feels so lively in there. What my boyfriend and I ordered: - Moon Shape Shrimp Cake: Order this if you love Shrimp Balls! This dish is very similar to shrimp balls but flattened down. - Stir Fried Chicken W/ Bamboo Shoot In Chef's Spicy Sauce: The chicken was very tender and the sauce was slightly spicy! Not unbearably spicy, but there's a minimal kick to it. I recommend ordering a side of rice ($2) to eat with this dish since it doesn't come with rice! ** Pro-Tip: Bring in cash to get a 5% discount! Once you pay in cash, the workers will update the receipt and show the discount to you at the end. No need to ask!

Evon T.

Yelp
Who doesn't love good food with affordable price! Hands up for Red Hot Wok I met up with my friends for lunch on Saturday at Red Hot Wok for some Chinese food - family style. We ordered a few dishes and everyone like it. The shrimp moon cake was my favorite, perfect appetizer to share with the group I tried the deep fried intestine, but it's not my favorite. However my friend enjoyed it. The clams was good as well, fresh with good portion Chow-mien was also good with lot of toppings. Also a good dish to share My favorite was 3 cups of chicken but will order boneless next time The bamboo and chicken was my least favorite as it's mostly broth and not lot of toppings Like other Chinese place, ready for a side effect if you're sensitive to MSG. I also think the restaurant use the sauce for most of the dish (could be oyster sauce) which made them taste pretty similar. However very friendly service and foods came out super fast. The store was decorated simple and clean Also they give 10% discount for paying cash

Ming T.

Yelp
Food was Salty and greasy, the table was very greasy and dirty. Not appetizing..sorry

Monica H.

Yelp
The cutest little hole in the wall and the food really made it feel homey! The servers were so nice and caring, and glad we were able to share the experience with some of our friends. They gave us complimentary dessert at the end which was super delicious (if you're a big taro fan ) and warm which was great for the cold weather we've been having - -- -- - *Baked Egg with Pickled Radish *Stir Fried Pork and Squid with Celery and Dried Bean Curd *Stir Fried Eggplant in Garlic Sauce *Stir Fried A Choy in Garlic Sauce *Taiwanese Sausage Fried Rice *Three Cups Chicken w/ Bones Clay Pot *Hot Taro Soup with Mochi Balls

Suni O.

Yelp
Found a really great homemade meal In all the hustle and bustle of sj and Cupertino, I actually stumbled upon this place randomly and I am so glad. Sj rarely has any decent Chinese food so I came to Cupertino to look for a dinner spot. We had ordered the clams, mapo tofu, and I think beef( forgot what it was) but we were in L-O-V-E. Every bite was so good and it was really refreshing to see an actual family work together as well. The restaurant itself was super warm and inviting with family and friends conversing in every corner

Tifany P.

Yelp
I've come here a couple times with my parents and friends (on different occasions). If I feel like having Taiwanese food, this is my current place to go. The dishes are delicious, and remind me of my parent's home cooked food, but I think some of the dishes are slightly heavier or oilier than I'm used to. I remember thinking the dishes were a little pricey for what they are, but it's probably not fair to compare the Bay Area to Taiwan haha. Not much else to say except the service is fine, and the parking is a bit tougher if busy. I enjoy the red walls and wooden furniture though, they have a nice vibe going on.

Michelle T.

Yelp
Everything I've had here is consistently good! Even though the interior has limited seating I've never waited long for a table. This is because the servers are incredibly efficient and the food comes out super fast! All the food gets to my table piping hot, so it really lives up to its name - red HOT wok ;) It's hard for me to recommend a specific dish because EVERYTHING is great. I love the sizzling plates and the fragrance of cooking meat. I always get at least one eggplant dish because they cook eggplants PERFECTLY here. Trust me, eggplant is my favorite veggie and I always order it no matter what restaurant or cuisine I try. The eggplant at Red Hot Wok is the best I've tried in a restaurant - perfect size cut, perfect cook (not too mushy), and flavorful sauces. I brought my friends here, then my boyfriend, and I'm planning on bringing my boyfriend's family next! Note: the parking lot is small. I recommend street parking if it is full, but make sure to read the street signs.

Megan T.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday for a late dinner in a group of 3. There's a parking lot outside the restaurant. The restaurant itself is a little smaller and cozier. We were seated pretty quickly and they took our order soon after. We ate family style and ordered 4 different dishes. The food came out super hot and fresh. My favorite had to be the eggplant- it was cooked perfectly and tossed in delicious sauce. The Taiwanese sausage in the fried rice tasted very similar to Canadian bacon. It was good, but I didn't care for the meat in that dish really. All the saucy dishes were delicious and had so much flavor. I did really like the flavor of the three cup chicken, but for me personally the dish had too many bones. I think some of the dishes here are on the pricier end for the amount you get. I'd definitely come back and try other items though.

Yelp
Been here twice and shrimp cake was a must. Tried the matcha ice (run out of mango ice but we got mango sauce topping). Service was top-notched - busy on Friday night but it was easy and quick to get a table around 6pm. Three cup salmon a bit saucey.

Yelp
I've been here twice (pre-pandemic and I guess end of pandemic) and the food is delicious! Was craving chinese food for breakfast and decided to come here instead of getting the regular dim sum (pre-pandemic)! When we arrived, the parking lot was full, and we just parked across the street in the furniture parking lot. We got here at the perfect time and took the last table available before the next crowd arrived, so I suggest coming early or else you'll have to put your name down and wait (they only seat if your entire party has arrived). After looking at some Yelp photos (there's no photos on their menu), we decided to order the mapo tofu, 3 cup chicken, and taiwanese sausage fried rice. All were delicious! My more recent visit in February 2023 was just as delicious, too! We came a little after opening time and snagged a time asap. This time, we ordered the green beans, beef with eggplant, and the house special rice (braised pork rice bowl). Food comes out in big portions and priced decently. We shared 3 dishes between the two of us, but I wished we ordered 1 or 2 more items b/c everything was so good, and we just wanted to try more food! Very average service. Staff moved pretty quickly to take orders and refilled our water once. Felt a little rushed to finish food and pay since they gave us the receipt, but I get it, its busy, and they're trying to seat the next customers in line. Btw interior is kind of small, and some tables can be pushed together and not a lot of space. You'll definitely be very close to some other customers. I recommend coming here and trying some authentic chinese/taiwanese food if you're hungry!

Yelp
Casual and lively ambiance! The food tastes pretty authentic and there's a large variety to of dishes to choose from. I especially loved the eggplant and green beans! Food came out really quickly and service was attentive -- we even got a sweet potato and rice ball dessert on the house. So nice of the staff! I'll be back again to try more dishes. Tip: pay in cash and get 10% off your check!!

Yelp
First time trying this Taiwanese restaurant. They were amazing on both food and service. As a vegetarian, tried the tofu in black pepper, three cup mushroom and bamboo in clay pot and the veggie noodles. The tofu sizzler was outrageously good and was a hit. I loved the clay pot mushroom, kiddo wasn't a fan of the ginger , but it was essential. Noodles has a healthy mix of vegetables and not too oily, so will give it a five star too. To finish it all off, the mango ice dessert was the happy ending we wanted. Overall, great food and good, polite service. Will visit again

Yelp
For the very first time I have tried Taiwanese cuisine and am so happy how good the food was. It is small restaurant with limited parking space. The waitress suggested me to park it in the opposite complex. The inside of restaurant is small but who cares when food is delicious. Everything went pretty fast, ordering and receiving the food. My family ordered chicken fried rice, kung pao chicken and chicken sizzler. I felt fried rice not price worthy but tastes pretty good. The chicken dishes are good with good amount of quantity. My husband asked for the spicy sauce snd they gave us a dark green color one not what it is, but tasted good. Don't forgot to ask for this when you want your food to be a bit spicy. I will definitely visit them again and try other dishes. Food: 4 Service: 4
