The Spring 2018 Restaurant Opening Guide: South Shore, South Coast, and Southeastern Massachusetts - Eater Boston

"A gastropub set to open in summer 2018 with a full liquor license, replacing Pizzigando which closed after more than 20 years. The restaurant will serve comforting and healthy cuisine and classic cocktails with a modern twist." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Creative vegetarian and vegan food in a beautiful building. We went for lunch on a Friday in early April. It was very quiet inside when we got there for 12. With a few more arriving by the time we left. Food was very tasty, if smallish for portions but delivered on quality. Jackfruit tacos were VERY unusual, but VERY delicious. Don't expect a meat replacement, expect a totally new flavor. Worth trying! Gentleman that served us was very pleasant. Music was lite, and contemporary.

Delicious food! Their flavors are always exquisite. It’s hard to choose something from the menu because everything sounds amazing! We had the Gobi Manchurian, Mexican pizza, soup of the day, sweet potatoes and nutty lasagna. We were really happy with the choices and can’t wait to go back. The place is upscale, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. Perfect place for a dinner date or a family dinner. We can’t wait to go back!

This vegan/vegetarian restaurant is a true gem in Sharon. Right from the start, the dynamic was nothing short of impressive. Not only did the waitress, Ciara, immediately greet us with a positive and lovely attitude, but the owner, Sam, came and spoke with us about the inner workings of the restaurant with such sincerity, you can tell he truly cares about the business, patrons and well-being of the staff. The warm and eclectic environment, the timeliness of service and the food presentation was unbelievable. The huevos rancheros, eggs benedict, french toast and even the cheese pizza was full of flavor and extremely impressive. We will absolutely be back, because if the brunch menu is this mind-blowing, the rest of the menu has to be something to truly experience. A solid 10/10, you will be impressed.

Great place for Vegan food in South-East Massachusetts! The jackfruit Tacos were quite flavorful and had a zesty taste. The cuisine is Indian fusion and the beet uttapam shows that. Great to have a solid vegan food option outside of Boston. Will definitely be eating here again!

The food was super delicious and Paris our server/ bartender she was everything. She took good care of us and definitely knows how to hold a great conversation. The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The atmosphere was very welcoming, dimly lit, very clean. Perfect for date night, or whatever you are into. I can't wait to go back.

I ordered oyster mushroom calamari as an app and the paella for dinner. The oyster mushrooms captured the texture and look of real squid better than i would have expected for a vegetarian dish. The breading on the mushrooms as crisp and not too salty. Paella was good but a bit weaker. They use orzo instead of arborio rice for the base and it didn't get that crusty socorat that real paella has. The ingredients ere good and actually had some notes of seafood despite not having actual fish

Cozy restaurant right in the heart of Sharon. I had the farmer salad which included; roasted garbanzo beans, carrots, mixed greens, tomatoes, butternut squash, avocado etc. I also ordered the grilled asparagus. The quality was excellent, but don’t expect a larger portion for the price. I hope to return again! Our server, Ashley, was excellent.

surprised that no one had made a new entry on Yelp for the Sharon branch of Red Lentil, after they've been opened for over a month (or two) at least. first time customer. had a great experience from beginning to end. highlights: - great variety of dishes with flavors from all around the world; menu is definitely the opposite of "boring" - website has detailed description of dishes, many of which are GF, vegan and/or soy-free - multiple ways of ordering available: phone, online (via Toast), or delivery thru third parties like GrubHub and Door Dash - when calling the restaurant to inquire, got a clear, informative, and courteous response food: not a regular patron to specifically vegan/vegetarian places, but even if judging from a "regular" restaurant standpoint, their food is superb. colors are very vibrant (which makes "eating with the eyes" an excitement), tastes are flavorful but not over-powering, spices are just at the right amount to highlight the food. everything is well-prepared, offering little surprises here and there. did not venture to the "veggie burger" territory, but we completely enjoyed the dishes we got -- they surely changed the usual "salads/rabbit food" impression people generally have upon hearing the V words. can't wait to try their other dishes next time! finally, a wish list: - 15-min parking spots for pickup (even if just one? I know parking is tough there). or, iffff we can use the church lot, kindly indicate day/time on website or lot signage. - if the same allergy labels on website can also transfer to the ordering page, it can save patrons with allergies from jumping back and forth between two tabs and compare notes - offer bakery items online within morning pickup time - offer brunch items on holidays! overall, a well-deserved 5-star experience. DEFINITELY returning for more!
